Chaze Sinokira found himself back in the massive city from before. This was at least somewhat familiar to him, the uncomfortable air of an almost airtight city was almost welcoming to him compared to the absurd adventure he had just returned from. Although, with the knowledge he gathered on that little side-quest, he learned, more or less, the functions and uses of the device that replaced his phone. It had a little map, although he had no idea how to actually read it, as none of the locations sounded real, at least, he has never heard of them before.
He couldn't explain it, but he felt a strange instinct to move to the places he has visited before, like the instinct he developed to walk to work, except, it seemed he wouldn't go to work for quite some time, either way, he wasn't sure what was directing him around the digital world, but whatever it was, it sent him right back to this city. He had no clue as to what to really do, so he really just wandered about. He actually hoped he wouldn't run into anything dangerous, again, because he really couldn't handle more nonsense.

He walked through the city, wondering if he maybe could get a job of some sort, earn enough bits to go home. Although... He felt he still needed to do something here... Whatever it was, maybe he could find answers in this place? His movements, he hadn't noticed, was just a straight line, no swaying steps, in fact, no steps at all were being taken, but he still bobbed up and down, slowly, as he moved, as if he was taking steps. This wasn't what an observer noticed, either, as he was too focused on the readings emanating from the one digimon in the crowd who hid his eyes from the outside. A digimon watched from a hacked street camera, "Ooh! I've been waiting for you, human!" He muttered, retracting a small tentacle, before starting his preparations, he had been waiting for a lone human for a long time. The human's digimon appearance was nothing more than a cloak. Regardless, he was going to take his time with this rare opportunity.

His internal compass whirred as he hovered around, wondering if this form had a physical internal compass somewhere within himself. Regardless, he felt himself drawn to move in a certain direction, towards some underground tunnels, right under a chrome apartment building. This city seemed huge, but he was used to that feeling, as he knew that there would likely be landmarks and maps here and there to mark his path, he just wasn't that interested in them right now.
He peered around, as dim lights illuminated only one hall. He thought he should go there, but he felt he should go down another, darker hall. Cameras were hidden in the walls, that he likely wouldn't have noticed even if he was looking, and the onlooker sat and watched, with the patience of a spider in it's web. "remarkable," it muttered, "There is definitely something at work here." It pondered, to itself, before turning to a computer screen, that reacted although no keys were being pressed, as, in a room in this facility, a small, almost toy-like statue sat. As well as this, Kira was moving directly towards it, as if being guided, although no detectable frequencies could make it's way into this bunker, the observer made sure of it.

Kira paused, for a moment, deciding to revert to his slightly more comfortable human form, as he felt he was safe from prying eyes, although there were two prying eyes still staring intently at him, he felt safe from the crowd from before, so walking around in his human body felt better. He turned, to a hallway lined with doors, glancing at each one for only a moment, before moving on. He eventually stopped at a door, feeling a need to see what was inside of this one. It seemed no different from the other doors, but he pressed the button on the side, regardless, opening into a wide, dark chamber. He spotted a small glass container, with something inside, something he needed. “You truly fascinate me.” a cold, controlled voice stated, as a bladed tentacle waved down, approximately five feet from him. This tentacle dangled for a few moments, before lunging into the ground, as another dug into the floor next to the first. Twin yellow lights shone onto Chaze, leading him to step back, as what looked like a… giant spiky rock revealed itself, lowering itself from several more tendrils, the actual body not moving an inch. It paused, halfway down from the ceiling, balancing on the tentacles stuck to the roof and the ones on the ground, the lights revealing to be it’s eyes, one of it’s other parts that could move. “Uh, wh-who are you?” He asked, seemingly nonplussed despite being frightened, “Who am I? You barge into my private research base and ask for my name?” it replied, it’s voice lacking any distinct gender, with a cold, metallic ring to it, as though the inside of it’s shell was hollow. “Oh, uh, sorry, I just…” He fumbled, realizing his mistake, but the digimon chuckled, cutting him off, “I know. You felt drawn to here, yes? I can’t blame you. That is only natural, for a spirit wielder to respond to the “Call” of their respective spirit. It’s only natural you would show up, actually, I have been waiting for this day, as a matter of fact. Now then. Go on. Take it.” He insisted, a spotlight shining onto the pedestal. Kira tentatively walked up, removing the case, some suction wires, presumably scanning the small totem. The said trophy resembled a humanoid with a beak-shaped head, and was seemingly leaning on a box-like machine. “I suppose you know what to do next, yes?” the cocoon digimon asked, his head incredibly close to Kira, who stepped away, once again. “Uh…” He muttered, pulling out his D-Tector, pointing at the spirit, before sucking it inside. “Well… Thanks, I guess.” He remarked, stepping away, and walking towards the door. A bladed tentacle slammed, in his path, causing him to jump back, “Oh, I almost forgot. I need some more data from you. I hope you don’t mind, as it is mandatory. Do try to fight back.” he explained, coldly, his tentacles glowing with electricity.

"I... I don't want any trouble." He said, backing into the podium, which was rapidly descending into the floor. He wished he could follow the thing, but the hole sealed up, revealing the room to be a makeshift arena now. Chrysalimon still dangled from the ceiling, and he launched the rest of his tentacles at Kira, slamming at each side of him, prompting him to dive through the separation between the tentacles. "Are you serious? You are in danger. And your option to flee has been cut off, don't you realize what you need to do?" He taunted, pulling his spiked tentacles from the ground, slamming them purposely behind Kira, to prompt him to fight back. "Can't you fight? Or are you too dense?" He continued, getting frustrated with the human's inability to fight back, "If you can't fight back in this world, you are dead, don't you understand? You could do so much more by not just running away. Haven't you ever wanted more in your life!? You could be a superhero and here you are, squandering all of it, and trying to run away from your gift. AIM. HIGHER." he ordered, launching his tentacles straight at Kira, who had stopped running, and was staring at his own hand.
He clenched his fist, slowly, before he opened it, again, a band of data forming. He turned towards Chrysalimon, holding his D-Tector near his face, before swiping at it's scanner, diagonally. He floated in the air, as the shape of the totem surrounding him, before the head looked up, with the roar of an engine, as his features became nondescript, his eyes and mouth being his only discernible parts, his eyes and nose was covered by what looked like a chunk of metal shaped like a slightly curved bird beak, while his mouth was covered by a mainly smooth plate. The rest of his body turned metallic, a mix between solid metal and fabric, hiding the mechinery within, while an engine covered in exhaust pipes manifested on his back, while his right arm became a massive, blocky metal arm with three stocky fingers, which grasped the air, before relaxing at his side, as smoke billowed from his back engine, and the pistons on his legs and left elbow pumped, leading to a massive impact on the ground, "Escamon." He stated his name, passively. With his massive right arm, he swatted aside the tentacles, startling Chrysalimon, before he lunged forward, his legs pumping powerfully, as he lunged forward, landing a quick jab on the suspended foe, uprooting him from the ceiling and sending him flying, he took little damage due to his powerful exoskeleton. Escamon didn't stop there, either, as his right arm retrected his fingers, revealing a small lens of glass, before he fired a red laser from it, aiming with his other arm. Chrysalimon fired his tentacles away from the beam, dragging himself to escape from the beam. Escamon aimed directly at Chrysalimon's tentacles, shaving off three, sending him tumbling. He returned his fingers, before digging them into the ground, ripping up the metal plates effortlessly, before dragging the metal into his arm, before he clenched his fist, and firing steam from a small ventilation duct on the side, before he threw his arm to his side, expelling a 10 foot long column of metal, and he spun in place, slamming into Chrysalimon, sending in into the air, before he dropped the now bent metal pole, cranking his arm behind his head, aiming his elbow at the airborn unidentified digimon, "Locked on." He remarked, as he lined up his target, before he yelled, "Burst!", firing a missile at Chrysalimon, sending him, battered, into a wall, before he fell to the ground, his fractal code emerging.
Escamon approached the battered scientist, who coughed, before willing his code back inside himself, and turning himself upright, "Oh boy... That was excellent! Ah... ha... sorry for egging you on. You can go now, I gathered enough data..." He said, the door opening as if on-cue, Escamon examined himself, and stared at his downed foe, for a long time, making him uncomfortable, before walking out, his engine much calmer than before, as he emerged from the underground world, wishing to leave, before he jumped, and climbed to the top of the buildings, making his way out of the city. As soon as he reached the exit, he changed back to Chaze, and stumbled, before staring at his own hand, now feeling odd at the fact that he didn't have that massive arm anymore. He cut his losses, and continued on his way. [EXIT THREAD]
