Good day everyone. Maybe some of you (probably a few) remember me, I was a newbie with a lot of enthusiasm who joined this community back in april/may 2013. I soon created a character with Yusei Fudo from YGO 5D's as faceclaim and twin Digimon Partners, Lunamon and Coronamon, and immediately started to roleplay, posting a lot of stuff and making many friends.
And then the entusiasm died out of a sudden, and the nice, energetic guy from Italy disappeared without a word of excuse: what had happened?
Well, a few things: it was quite a complicated moment in my life back then, IRL problems were starting to make me lose my enthusiasm in regards of... Well, pretty much anything I was involved with; I was in this long-term roleplay with another person, which was supposed to give my character a lot more depth, but this person would never post, causing the roleplay to drag and making me even less enthusiastic. On top of that, my university exams started going the wrong way, and before I knew I had failed three of those in a row: at this point, I really needed to reset my life, to shut doen any activity not strictly needed to pass those exams, and slowly start over from zero after getting out of the worst moment.
Now my life has gotten a bit better, so I am back: I have learned a lot of things from that experience, including that this community is definitely something I want to be a part of. I will need a lot of help to settle in, to create a new character, and to get it into something important: I don't want to merely create some guy and post some stuff, for me roleplaying is but a way to make new friends and share a passion, and thus I really hope that this time, with a bit of help from the rest of the community, I will be able to do just that. Roleplaying is 95% interation in my book, so if you want some rookie to join your plotline and you are not afraid of the fight that he might be kinda deadweight (then again, we have all been noobs, right?), I am your guy!
Oh, on this regard: I am GMT+1. If there are people here that are from a similar timezone, I would really appreciate it if they could post in this topic and say so: I remember that last time I was here, a little obstacle that prevented me from bonding with the majority of the community was that they'd wake up and come here when I'd go to sleep...
