Mihai is the sort of person to take the blow for you. He doesn't like to see others suffer because he has suffered himself. It has given a very altruistic attitude towards others and is well loved for it by those who know him. Many would call him calm, compassionate and caring.
He also has a great sense of humor. And even in the face of his enemies and sarcasm, he laughs a bit too much. Truth is he laughs at pain since he was raised in a household where the pain was a daily occurrence for him.
While caring and honest he is far from courageous. In fact, he easily backs down from confrontations which often lead to more. He knows how to stand his ground and take a beating but beyond that, he has no desire to explore. It is why despite five years of service and coming from a military family he has not moved up in rank.

His skin is lightly tanned and he has a solid muscular frame coated with scars from many battle-hardened experiences. Some of the most noticeable scars are on his back and a few on his upper arms. Most of them are elongated and come from his fathers own training. Both his ears are pierced and he usually keeps green studs in them to match his eyes.

Born to Romanian General Vincent and his wife Liela, Mihai was destined to become a part of the military from the moment he was born. It was a family tradition from his family that the first born son becomes a soldier.
Mihai was abused really as a child for the sake of learning swordsmanship and gunmanship. His body had four large scars by the time he was seven from his father's sword. He couldn't begin to hold a sword properly till he was ten. Thankfully his mother took over his lessons for a time while his father was away and he learned much better under her hand.
When he was eleven he got his first brother. The one destined to be married off for political purposes. A year later he got a sister also destined to be married off. Neither one looked much like his father and he didn't realize till he was fifteen that they weren't his at all. His mother had had an affair.
His mother died of poisoning when he was sixteen. Left to their father the children suffered rather badly. As children born of an affair his brother and sister were both demoted to mere maids. They would get nothing and were often slapped around.
At nineteen he joined the 32nd Infantry. His main goal was to make his mother proud not so much his father. A fact that showed later when he was ordered to kill him to show loyalty and cull a spy. Though he had strong doubts that was the real reason. He hated it, it was still his father but after having a talk with him about duty and doing whatever it took. He pulled the trigger.
He took over as head of the household and he returned his siblings back to their rightful places. Affair or not they still had half his blood. He cared for them and as their older brother, he felt the need to protect them.
He has served his country for five years and earned many scars. At the behest of his mentally scarred siblings, they decided to leave the country. His sister with a desire to draw requested to attend school in Japan to become a manga artist. Despite only being twelve he wants to support her wishes even if they change. His brother a more secluded person who didn't care where they went so long as it was away from that house.
Mihai still finds Japanese life difficult. He doesn't speak it well and can barely read the language. He finds himself using more sign language to actually communicate than anything. Leading many to think him probably deaf due his poor language skills.
