Hana is a very quiet girl not by choice. She has always been sickly and a bit frail but she always meets the world head-on. Her curiosity knows few bounds most of which are put up by others. She is more a follower than anything and kind of likes it that way. It keeps her out of trouble since she has a tendency to ignore danger completely.
Because of her frail and gentle but curious nature, many people treat her kindly. Even if they were to treat her meanly she wouldn't complain though. She'd just shrug it off and move on.
She is naturally friendly though she rarely starts the coversations. Most people have to start talking to her first. She is easy to get along with and very agreeable. She's more than happy to help with things out of curiousity even if they are on the iffy side of the law.

Hanashiro was born in poor health but it gradually got better as she got older. Her mother was uncertain uncertain of who her father was. Her poor health and already poor family made life growing up hard for her. Her mother couldn't afford all the medical bills and more often than not she went without treatment for even the more serious illnesses.
She had been born without a voice box and could never voice her complaints, cry, or even ask someone to help her. Out of sight out of mind was her mothers thinking most the time and so she spent most her time trying to make friend online in her room. Taking online schooling so her mother wouldn't get in trouble since she couldn't physically attend school at first.
She obeyed her mother to make up for the fact she was in debt. Though even when punished she never felt afraid of her. In fact, she felt no fear at all even from the spiders that roamed her room. One google search later she learned she had a genetic disorder as well. Her mother wouldn't be happy to know so she never mentioned the fact she lacked any fear.
When she was old enough she requested to go to a physical highschool. Her point being her mother didn't want her to stay there forever. She had to learn some independence and her mother agreed wholeheartedly eager to get rid of her and the bills. So she became a more official student.
Her lack of fear was easily discovered when a bee was in the classroom and she caught it and tossed it outside. It became a running joke to try and frighten her. Everything from jump scares to bugs in her locker. She didn't really mind at all since they still laughed and it made her feel apart of the group.
