Alice awakens to the feeling of being prodded.
"Guh... What happened?" The last thing she remembers is being accidentally pushed into something she can barely describe by her Digimon partner, and she slowly sits up, opening her eyes, clothes covered in sand and coughing slightly. The heat is unbearable, but it's clear she's only been out for a a minute at most. "Where am I? Is this..." She slowly tries to stand, only to fall over again, turning her head to look for Dorothy. "Where'd you go? Dorothy!?" There is nothing but sand and rocks as far as the eye can see at first, the harsh sun beating down on her.
"I'm right here, ya dork!" The purple and gray shaped Digimon replies, nudging her partner with a giggle. "Sorry 'bout bumping into ya... Now, where are we?" She scampers around Alice as she stands up, her attitude excited and yet worried.
The green haired woman almost shouts and grabs her by the throat until she realizes that she's not in the middle of the desert. In fact, she's right outside what looks like a somewhat, or perhaps more than somewhat, ramshackle town, akin to something one would see after an apocalypse. Shacks of corrugated metal, random wooden boards, and other bits of scrap lie not so far away from her, and before she can assume that this is somewhere merely in a remote, backwater part of Earth... Something about that thought just feels wrong, knowing that she just stepped through a portal by accident. "We fell through that hole in the universe and ended up here. I don't know where we are, don't ask me." She grumbles, checking her bag to see if things are damaged.
"We're in the Digi-World then, silly! It's not like there's any other worlds we could end up in." Dorothy flutters up a bit with a cheerful expression, with Alice doubtful of her partner understanding the ramifications of being trapped in a strange, foreign place, yet alone one like this, barely habitable to say in the least. It could be worse, though, considering that the pair somehow landed nearby a small town... A somewhat disappointing one, but something tells Alice that it would be far from disappointing to encounter a place like this after wandering the hot desert sands for days on end.
Either way... Here they are, lost, with no idea of where to go, and as far from home as possible.

A desert town, Shi had to admit he didn't know this place existed, yet here he was sitting down against one of the buildings just drawing in his notebook while his two Agumon partners just wandered around the area for a bit, hopefully not bothering anyone but he couldn't really be sure on that part. The desert nothing to him thanks to something clipped on his shirt allowing him to be pretty ok despite the immense heat, probably explained why he had nothing but his shirt, pants, and shoes on. Drawing the massive desert around him was simple enough, but while he did this he saw something out of the corner of his eye.
Standing up for a bit he walked around the house he was sitting near holding his notebook at his side sliding his pen in his pocket. After a few seconds, he saw what it was, it appeared to be a human and her Digimon partner, who to his knowledge seemed to appear out of nowhere, for a second he looked at the sky above them trying to find what exactly made them come from nowhere, not that was anything new or anything he just wanted to know what exactly was making tamers drop within his vicinity.
Though now he was within eyesight of the newcomer looking at the sky, noticing that's a bit odd Shi put his hands in his pockets walking over a few steps. "Eh Hi, are you ok?" He questioned his usual cold expression and voice shining through.
Though he mostly assumed since everyone who fell out of the sky seemed to of been lost why would this one be any different?

The portal's already gone, but judging by how they're in good shape for the most part, the pair probably didn't drop from a high distance. The Tsukaimon and the human seem rather lost in a small argument at first, with her Digimon blowing a raspberry at one point, until the two finally notice the pair of Agumon and their Tamer.
"...Okay, someone's here. Thank goodness." The green haired woman grumbles, her clothes slightly dirty. She dusts herself off, and extends her hand in greetings somewhat awkwardly, not being the best at social skills, yet alone in a situation as awkward as this. "I'm fine, just... Lost. Where are we?" She sighs, looking towards her Digimon partner with a slight glare, the purple and gray Digimon floating next to her and flapping her ear-wings with a smug, but worried expression, as if she's concerned that she made the other person mad. "Where are my manners... I'm Alice, and this is Dorothy. We're partners... Something like that." Alice's voice is also a bit cold, but perhaps a bit less. Right now, things are more awkward about her than anything else.
"Who're these dorks?" The Tsukaimon, supposedly called Dorothy, states as she spots the other human. One can almost immediately tell that Dorothy's a little bit of a troublemaker. "And I'm good... No clue 'bout Alice over there, though." It's clear the heat is also uncomfortable to the purple and gray Digimon, though she's taking it better than Alice.
"...Whatever." She rolls her eyes and looks to Shi with a slight glare, mostly out of her own misguided anger at her own partner. "I'm going to say it again... Where are we? This place sure doesn't seem... Like somewhere I should stay. It's like I'm inside a giant furnace." Alice kicks at the sand a bit, trying to curb her frustration.

Greetings were said and for the most part, they seemed alright. Aside from the fact, it was a million degrees out and neither the human nor partner seemed prepared for the heat. "Shi Namika, that's Yuudai and Yasuo, my partners." By now the two Agumon had approached curiously of what was going on.
Shi had deduced they probably weren't hurt from their fall, but the sand getting on clothes was inevitable. Though Shi not being the best at social skills himself was also awkward in his greetings. Though the partner Dorothy did remind Shi of a few other Digimon he had met, looking at her for a second before hearing that they're both fine, just one more fine than the other. "This place is called the Folder Desert, the town though is called Rustport Town." Shi mentioned motioning over to the town behind him.
Noticing the kicking of sand and picking up on her frustration Shi gave a small shrug. "It is a desert, after all. there's a Taven for travelers nearby. I heard it's way better than out here." Shi said motioning for them to follow, while he wasn't bothered by the heat nor sure if they'd even follow him. Not that he seemed to mind either way what they decided.

And the rather unusual pair follow without question. Being in the desert like this would be foolish, to say in the least. "I assumed as such... At least it isn't the middle of nowhere. Or somewhere cold." Alice sighs, chuckling to herself. Of course it could be worse, she thinks to herself. "We ended up here by accident. That's... Really all you need to know. Don't worry, I already regret it a little." She runs her hands through her long green hair, occasionally grumbling at Dorothy about something. "Tell me... How did you get your Digimon? And a pair of them, too... I've only seen a few so far, so I wouldn't know if that's odd or not. Either way, good to meet all three of you, Shi, Yuudai and Yasuo... Thanks for your help."
"Are you jealous or somethin'?" Alice picks up Dorothy after she says this, the Tsukaimon giggling to herself. "Nah, why would ya be when I'm already so great, huh?" She flaps her ear wings a little bit and struggles a little, not someone who likes being carried, but this time Alice's grip remains firm enough for her to stay put, and she seems a little worn out, perhaps from previous antics from before the two arrived. "But yeah, tavern would be great. It's really, really bright out here... Too bright, my eyes hurt..."
"I haven't known her for long, but she's grown on me." Alice states to Shi, probably talking about Dorothy as she walks with the group. "Definitely needs a better outlet than thievery, though." Her Tsukaimon grumbles a little at this, but Alice can't help but bring it up. "Reminds me of me when I was younger." As the group approaches, Alice looks around, trying to take note of whatever interesting things she sees for later.

Great, they followed Shi without a question. Though she did mention alternatives that sounded a lot worse than this, though when she mentioned something about the cold Shi seemed shaken for a quick second but as quickly as it came it passed. "That's fine, it happens all the time." Shi mentioned hoping to make her feel a bit better about being randomly in the desert, though she ended up asking the magic question most seemed curious about. "I found them at my doorstep a long time ago, it is odd I've only ever seen a few with a pair of Digimon, even fewer with the same species type." Shi explained though Yuudai added to it. "We're twins born from the same egg, kinda like human twins." That was a thing in the human world.
Though Dorothy's little talking did make Yasuo glance at her, then back at Yuudai for a few moments. "What bro?" Yasuo just shook his head dismissing it. "It should be somewhere around here, me and Yuudai looked around the town when we got here." They were coming up on it, hopefully, she'd last till then. Most likely yes.
After the mention of growing on them and younger Shi managed to get a better look at her, it was then he noticed she was taller than him, a first for anything. "They do that, doesn't take long before partners seem to just worm their way into your life." With this, he gave a small glance at Yuudai and Yasuo. " Let's be real here, your life's pretty boring without us." Shi had no comment on that part. But had a comment on thievery. "I'd agree, usually people don't like their stuff taken." Though Shi couldn't think of an outlet for them, his was drawing and Yasuo's was wood art, what would the Digimon be good at he wondered.

"I found Dorothy as a Pagumon in my apartment the moment I moved in, same with my Digivice. I'm not from Japan, so it'll be hard to adjust... Does language matter in the Digital World?" Alice asks this question for a moment, but quickly takes it back. "...Sorry, that would only raise even further questions, and I have enough of those as is..." Indeed, Alice is tempted to drop Dorothy and immediately get to writing things in her own notebook, though perhaps getting inside is of a far higher priority. Heck, she isn't even sure if her pens aren't bone dry now, the moisture in their ink gone. "And I like to think my life was a least a little bit exciting... But that's another story. One I'd rather share later." She doesn't want to elaborate on that. No one must know.
Dorothy points to one of the buildings with her stubby front legs, still struggling every now and then out of a simple desire to be free. On the other hand, she doesn't want to be on the sand again. "Is that the building? Anywhere's better than out here... It's too bright..." Alice moves one of her hands to help shield Dorothy's eyes from the sunlight, and she seems to stop struggling so much. "Much better... And hey! Takin' stuff from people ain't all bad!"
"...Hah, take from the rich and give to the poor type stuff?" Alice chuckles, and rolls her eyes as if she's put up with Dorothy's kleptomania before. "Maybe... Just because you do bad stuff, doesn't mean you're a bad person. But still, don't do it if people don't want you to." The emerald haired woman's response is rather calm and kind, gently petting Dorothy's head as the two look for the building in question. "...I assume where we're headed is at least able to fit a reasonable group of people, especially if this is the only town for... Who knows how far. I don't know how the Digital World works yet... I assume you have a lot more experience than me." Alice also hopes the group heads inside soon.

For a second Shi paused for a moment thinking about something before talking, but she quickly mentioned the answer to his question alongside it, so biting his tongue for a moment Shi was going to answer that question but she quickly dropped it as she brought it up, all well no sweat on his back. Though the life thing was something else she brought up, yet didn't want to talk about for whatever reason. "That's fine, my life wasn't boring per say they just exaggerate sometimes." He mentioned seemingly unwilling or to a less extent not caring enough to push that subject further.
Yuudai glanced up at the building Dorothy pointed out before rushing ahead a bit, seemingly unhindered by the heat and sand. "Yeah that's it." He mentioned rushing off ahead like normal and going through the door, wasn't much sound coming through but a quick glance up one would notice a sign for it. "Yuudai, sheesh he has to stop doing that." The other Agumon said sounding a bit peeved but didn't go after him.
"It doesn't mean you're bad, heck Yuudai loves to fight more than anything but he's fine, was just saying." Shi added trying to clarify what he meant, though another question came up. "It's the only town in the desert, it's a tavern/inn so it's used to having quite a few people." Shi decided not to answer that more experience question though, mostly cause he couldn't think of a way to do it without sounding cocky, and usually when he was cocky bad stuff happened, he just walked over to the door opening it for Yasuo and the others, Yuudai was inside but the place didn't seem that busy at the moment.

"...Whatever." Alice responds with a shrug, not willing to push one subject further, either. She seems more interested in what Dorothy's pointing at, and Alice heads inside as well, still carrying her Tsukaimon partner with her. "And yes... I think we've all got some sort of bad thing about us. It's only natural." The green haired woman seems almost relieved to be inside now, looking for somewhere, anywhere to sit down and get to work on writing in her notebook. "Yeah, that makes sense. If this is the only town here... Of course this place is going to be busy."
Dorothy finally decides to chime in. "Soooo... What's with you? Why doesn't the heat affect ya?" This is directed to Shi, the purple and gray guinea pig Digimon having a rather vivid imagination, given her second statement. "Are ya some kind of killer robot or somethin'?" This causes Alice to chuckle.
"No, of course not, Shi isn't a killer robot. I have to wonder how, though..." She shrugs, deciding to talk to the other Tamer and his pair of Agumon some more. "I also have to wonder just how dangerous it is out here, in the Digital World. I heard from a friend that it's pretty wild and full of adventure."
"Well, yeah, that's what we're here for!" Dorothy flaps her ear-wings and rolls her own eyes as if everyone already knows that. "We're adventurers, we're gonna be amazin' one day!" She frees herself from Alice's grasp and grins, scampering over to one of the Agumon and giving them a good look, her expression showing how curious she is, but also an inescapable slight smugness. This little Tsukaimon seems pretty confident in herself, occasionally raising one of her front legs in an attempt to gently poke at Yasuo a bit.
"Yeah, emphasis on one day." Alice sighs, smiling a bit, though very faintly as she finally finds a place to sit down and begin looking through her bag.

Shi was confused at the whatever part but quickly gave a shrug back not caring enough to question that. Though with the bad things Shi decided to just leave it at that while he walked inside, Shi followed too finding a seat nearby dropping his notebook on his lap leaning back a bit hearing what she had to say. Then came up the question of why Shi wasn't really bad off in the desert, the robot thing was weird but he could work with it."Yeah I am, Shi is just a codename. Lured you here to destroy all humans and Digimon" He said as nonchalantly as possible before waving it off.
"It's this clip on thing, it gives off some sort of protection that regulates my temperature, hot or cold I'll be fine. Doesn't help against extremes of it though." He mentioned pointing at something clipped to his shirt, it was good for a hot day, very bad for fire breath.
Then inevitably came the danger of the world, Shi simple motioned to a scar on his face for a second. "It is pretty dangerous around here, but play it safe and you'll be fine, adventure is pretty much everyone, walk around and it'll normally find you." Shi added not trying to scare anyone, not that he thought he could anyway.
The two Agumon's were near each other, Yuudai just thinking to himself while Yasuo stood around lost in thought, neither noticed the smaller Digimon come near but any attempt to poke Yasuo would be met with a little kick, not enough to hurt anyone but enough to push whoever did it back slightly, in his mind though he had assumed it was Yuudai who tried to poke him.

Alice rolls her eyes at the joke, and her expression becomes a slightly judgemental glare for a brief moment, but otherwise she seems fine, and perhaps even a little interested in the device clipped onto his shirt... Alice soon takes out her own notebook, and immediately begins writing as fast as possible, the sheer amount of things she needs to put down being rather numerous. "That's... Far more advanced technology than anything I thought possible. Talk about dropping bombshell after bombshell... First, Digimon, then an entire world where they came from, now technology that defies all my expectations... It's like I've been living my entire existence in a box until now." Alice's own notebook isn't exactly old, but given recent events, it's been filling up fast, and already contains sketches of Dorothy and two other Digimon. The vast majority of it is writing, however, journal entries, thoughts, and occasionally diagrams of things that she's deemed interesting.
"Oof!" As Dorothy is kicked, she gets a bit angry looking... Though she gets a couple ideas for potential pranks to pull on Yuudai, Yasuo and Shi. The little purple and gray Digimon isn't exactly the brightest, but she knows that directly prodding at the pair of Agumon isn't that good of an idea... Though indeed, evil ideas are hatching in her head, though as to whether she'll act on them... That's another story. She might, she might not, the little Tsukaimon pretending to be innocent. For now, of course.
"You write as well?" Alice states, smiling a bit as she scribbles things down onto her own notebook. "I suppose a situation like this is what I've been looking for, in the sense I've been lacking inspiration as of late. Perhaps we could even share notes, though I'm not sure if that's a good idea just yet." She closes her eyes, and sighs. "It's still a lot to take in, after all. Maybe I should get adjusted for a bit before someone gives me another big thing to think about..."

Shi picked up on the judgemental glare after he mentioned the device, did he feel bad? Sure after all the desert was hot. Would he do the same thing? Probably because again the desert was hot, and this thing cost him money gosh darn it. "Yeah, when you first start out it feels like one insane thing after another, eventually you just learn to coup with it or expect it." He mentioned opening his, it was old as well with a few cuts here and there, most of it was notes for school or reminders while the rest drawings of a vast amount of stuff, easy to see as he flipped through the pages seeing Digimon after Digimon drawn with their own pages.
Yuudai noticed his brother kicking Dorothy slapping him pretty hard in the chest. "Yasuo what the heck?" Yasuo rubbed the part he was hit for a second before looking over at Dorothy he seemed fine now. "Stop hitting me Yuudai." It seemed he thought both times were his brother, but it was too late for the seeds of evil were already in the Digimon head, good going twins.
"Yeah, I did long before I came here but I figured it was for the best, plus drawing some of the Digimon I've seen is pretty interesting." Shi mentioned taking his pencil from his pocket hearing the second part. "Might be for the best, it's a lot to take in after all, any questions you have I can try to answer. Been at this for a while now." Shi added offering some help in understanding, though he went to drawing after saying it, notibly drawing Dorothy as he hadn't seen that digimon before.

"Like a never ending rabbit hole? Hah, I doubt it's that bad... Most of the time, anyways." The green haired woman laughs confidently before coughing a bit, her throat dry. "G-Guh, I probably need a drink..." She stops writing and closes her notebook, shoving it back into her bag. "This is a tavern after all, they have to serve something I can have here."
Dorothy's mind slowly inches back towards the concept of poking Yasuo again... Causing a small brawl might be fun, but who knows how it might escalate out of control... She just heads over to Alice and sits next to her, her face a seemingly innocent smile with wide eyes, as if she's perfectly innocent. "Ya find out if he's a robot yet?" Dorothy states to Alice, giggling a bit.
"No, he's human." Alice rolls her eyes, smiling a little. "I can't believe you sometimes, Dorothy..." Alice puts her hand to her face, her smile still present as she quietly laughs to herself. Clearly, the two are a little more compatible as partners than one would get from their first impressions. "Anyways." She takes her hand away from her face, and straightens up her posture. "Where did you get that gadget that was shielding you from the heat, anyways?"

Shi could only shake his head when she mentioned it couldn't be that bad, oh yes it could be that bad. But Shi bit his tongue like normal deciding that might not be the best thing to bring up. Instead, something else was brought up. "Should have something, but Yen won't work here, just tell them to charge me for the drink when I leave." Shi said figuring it'd be a tab he could pay once he left. The one at the stand was an Angemon of all things, seemed part-time. Shi glanced over though because he knew one, but figured it wasn't the same right?
Another question at Shi being a robot cause Yuudai to laugh a bit. "I dunno, sometimes he acts like one, pretty sure that's the only dance move he knows too." Yuudai said causing Yasuo to give a snicker at. "Would explain a lot, like how he didn't bat an eye when he first found us." Both twins kept some jokes about Shi, much to his displeasure.
Shi did his best to ignore the comments coming his way, but he did give a small pity laugh at the second one. "I got it from the main city Terminus, it's in pretty much the center of the digital world, it's also the place that has constant pathways to and from, there's a mall there that sells stuff like that. And this." Shi said reaching into his backpack before pulling out a grappling hook. "They have some weird stuff."

"Well..." Alice stands up, leaving her notebook there for now, and Dorothy on her seat, as she heads to the counter, leaving the Tsukaimon to grab one of Alice's pens with her mouth. She's surprisingly dexterous with the pen, and begins doodling something on a blank page, giggling all the while, as if she's having a whole lot of fun vandalizing, or perhaps simply doodling in Alice's book.
After speaking with the rather unexpected person at the counter, the green-haired woman returns with a large glass of water, not willing to risk consuming anything too weird for now. She shoos Dorothy away from her notebook, only to see what she's drawn: A rather crude depiction of Dorothy atop a mountain of bodies with a little crown on, proclaiming herself to be the queen. "...Seriously?" Alice shakes her head. "I said she's a bit of a troublemaker, but this..." She looks to the Tsukaimon with a rather disappointed expression... And shares the picture with the rest of the group. "It's cute... But worrying. I've probably drawn worse when I was in third grade, though." Her disappointment briefly turns into a chuckle, though she's still a bit displeased.
"You're not mad?" Dorothy seems almost perplexed by Alice's patience at her bad behavior, the purple and gray Digimon seeming angry at herself now, her attempts for attention and chaos falling flat.
Alice takes a drink of water and grumbles. Maybe she's just hiding her seething rage well, which might be the case judging by her rather flat, blank expression, possibly a sign of concealed anger. "Terminus? Where would I be able to head there? Not immediately, of course. I think I should try some stuff first. Explore, live a little, that kind of thing." Alice takes another drink. "A grappling hook? Could be useful out here... Though it's an impractical gadget at best."
