It was midday, in Miyashita Park. Basile was sat on a bench at the top of a hill overlooking the majority of the sprawling park. The Sun was shining down on the park, the light reflected on the larger lakes and ponds. Basile watched people for lack of a better word 'frolic' in the park, playing with children, having picnics. Mundane things perhaps, but never could be called boring. Twas the essence of humanity in its purest form, any number of worries could be clouding those people but was thrown to the side to enjoy the weather. Basile couldn't help but smile lightly down at the people.
Cinder had been 'feeling strange' recently, she described it as constantly being hot, but too cold. Because that made sense, Basile thought confused and more worried than annoyed, though there was a slight annoyance to it. He wasn't a doctor, especially not for annoying little Digimon. The little terror had been mowing through his snacks and supplies like crazy, going through mood swings and cravings seemingly by the minute. At first it'd been Ice Cream, then it was Sushi and Ramen then it was Candy. Her latest craving had been Apples, at the moment she was sleeping in his backpack while he enjoyed the day.
He rather heavily suspected that Cinder was approaching her first 'digivolution', they'd been partners for a while and she hadn't changed or gotten sick prior, yet suddenly she falls ill and complains of being not hot enough in a near sweltering room. It was weird, normally he'd push it off as catching a bug or illness. But this was different, she'd felt very hot to the touch, not enough to painful but more than enough to be uncomfortable to hold onto her for extended periods of time.
Meanwhile underneath the bench in a backpack, Cinder was snoring contently, managing to escape the nearly nauseous feeling by sleeping through it. In all honesty, she'd known about the coming digivolution, but was crafty enough to spin this into being pampered for a few days, It wasn't entirely a lie either, she did feel really hot.

"Ohh man, ohh man..." Violet was walking around the park frantically, with an open backpack jumping up and down with her steps connected to her back with straps she had over her shoulders. While she had sat down at a bench to tie her shoe, Koba had managed to unzip the backpack he was being kept in from the inside and escape, without Violet noticing, no less. She knew that if anyone found out she had a Digimon, there would be plenty of trouble, and boy, did she not want trouble.
Panting, Koba was rolling around in his In-Training form, Koromon. He had yet to teach Rookie form in either of his lives, but he didn't let this stop him from becoming a master of escaping. Somehow, nobody had seen him for long enough to think he was anything other than a large pink ball, when in reality he was a Digital Monster from another world. He saw a bench at the top of a hill and rolled his way up there. He hoped Violet wouldn't find him up there. As he approached it and tried to hide under the bench, he noticed not only a human sitting on it, but a Digimon sleeping under it. "Oh, crap!" He yelled after seeing the Digimon, though this was obviously an unwise choice.

Basile was immediately brought out of his thoughts and his time enjoying the scenery came to abrupt end with a yell of profanity from a rather high-pitched voice. Standing up and looking under the bench, he saw a rather rotund pink ball with a face and two floppy ears on its head with large eyes and teeth. A Digimon, then. Basile couldn't help but wonder if this was a solo digimon or if this was a partner who'd ran off.
Realising he should probably respond, Basile stated 'I prefer a nice polite hello, rather than profanity, if I have a choice in the matter. I take it you're a digimon then?Solo or Partnered?' Basile said with a look that given time, food, water and lots of sunlight might have one day become a smile. He Idly noted through the mental bond that the two shared that Cinder was waking up, This was going to get very loud very fast. She had a rather poor temper when woken from her sleep, he'd found that out the hard way.
Idly, Basile looked around the park looking for any obvious 'tamers' or at the very least someone who looked like they'd lost someone vital. He found more than a fair few, some chasing naughty kids, some running after other animals like dogs... No obvious tamer though, and it wasn't like he could shout a PSA 'Digimon Found Here' as their meant to be a rather large secret.
Deep in the depths of Basiles backpack, Cinder Stirred. She'd heard the shout naturally, but it wasn't quite enough to wake her up, though her Tamers thoughts and reaction to another digimon definitely started waking her up. Blearily she opened her eyes and saw the wooden slats of the bench above her and the Suns rays hitting her in the eyes, she let out a frustrated hiss as she heard Basile talk and quickly deduced she wouldn't be able to get back to sleep like this.
Peeking out of her makeshift bed/container she found a pink 'football' with a face. A species she was unfamiliar with then, as everything about his very presence screamed digimon and his voice certainly confirmed any suspicions that Cinder had. It was none of her concern anyway, She hissed out at her tamer 'Sit back down! I can barely see!' she barely missed the amused smirk Basile had grown during her 'orders' and her tamer sat back down in his prior position. Giving a fair bit of shade to the miniature sun digimon.
Idly she noted that she felt really...good. She'd be rather sick recently and her nausea and headache along with her cravings were just... gone. She felt better than she had in a long long time. She did eventually address her fellow digimon 'Do you have a tamer? or did you come explore the human world as little more than a baby?' she said it in a matter-of-fact tone, not really intending any insult from it.

Koba narrowed his eyes. "Hey, first of all, 'crap' isn't profanity! I don't think... and second of all, whether I'm solo or not is neither of your business...es." He closed his mouth and look to the side, hoping to be excused from his terrible English skills.
"Come on, he has GOTTA be around somewhere around here!" Violet said quietly to herself. She hadn't had the little guy for more than two weeks, and this was the second time she had lost him! To be fair, the first time was only in her house, but either way! "KOBA, WHEN I FIND YOU, I'M GONNA KICK YOUR DIGITAL ASS!" She yelled at the top of her lungs, causing quite a few people to look in her direction. She didn't mind, however. She was more concerned with finding Koba before he was discovered.

Hearing the little digimon get annoyed and tell them that what he was saying wasn't a human profanity gave Basile pause for a moment, how would a Digimon know the ins and outs of human language if he didn't have a tamer? Basile was going to assume that this little guy did have a tamer, but why would he flee from them? even an abusive tamer couldn't do much against a Rookie or so from what Basile had understood from Cinder's ranting. It was almost cute in a weird way seeing the round little digimon deny having a tamer, like an embarrassed kid lying about making a mess.
Looking back over the park, he did spot a potential tamer, stomping around looking panicky. he couldn't quite tell at this distance, but he noticed that she seemed to be talking to herself... definitely his tamer, the resulting yell from the girl pretty much shot down his attempt at being a solo Digimon. sighing as naturally every human in the surrounding area suddenly were looking at the girl, now there was no real way of grabbing her attention, at least verbally.
He let out a long sigh before waving towards the girl, trying to beckon her up here. If she wasn't the little In-training's tamer, then at least she knew about digimon and needed to be told that she really shouldn't be yelling about digital monsters. It was kept a secret for a reason. Idly he said to the little digimon 'Koba, I Presume? seems too much of a coincidence for my tastes.'
Cinder was annoyed again, how dare this little digimon come up and ruin her time at the park! it was meant to be her time with her tamer and none of that silly human nonsense to get in there way! they were meant to bond and stuff! And he was a terribly rude little thing, speaking to them like that. If that was the way he was going to behave he could roll his tubby little self back down the hill and go elsewhere. Cinder knew exactly one thing about the little digimon, she didn't like him!
Cinder was then cut off by the nearly deafening screech of a harpy, screaming about someone called Koba and that she would kick his digital butt... Digital. Cinder hissed in annoyance, they were right! the little thing did have a tamer and was rude for no reason! Cinder grumpily mentioned 'If you keep running away from your tamer you're never going to digivolve or bond'
She wasn't in a good mood anymore, or feeling good anymore, now she was just frustrated at this little digimon and his harpy of a tamer. She may have been told not to judge a book by the cover, but this digimon and tamer were making one of the worst impressions on Cinder to date right now. Even the little Virus Type was more respectful than this one and that was a damn travesty in of itself!
Cinder was almost immediately cut off by Basile's phone as it wrung harshly in a furious high pitched series of beeps. Watching her tamer answer and then swear violently under his breath as he scooped up his Partner and started walking off with barely an explanation 'Late for a critical appointment, Sorry Little Digimon Friend!'' as her tamer power walked away from the park at fairly impressive speeds for a human she couldn't help but smile smugly at the train wreck of a digimon/tamer pair as her partner carried her off into the unknown.
