Name: Cassandra Cross
Alias: Cas
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Height: 5'1
Weight: 125lb
Alignment: Chaotic Nuetral
Birth Date: June 1st
Western Horoscope: Gemini
Birth Place: Chattanooga Tennessee
Skills/Talents:
-Due to her career as both a veterinary doctor, human/digimon paramedic, and her experience in high stress and dangerous situations Dr. Cross is highly capable of treating both humans, animals, and digimon for medical emergencies. Allowing her to stabilize even critically injured patients in the field with basic equipment and halving their normal treatment and recovery time.
-Due to her career and willingness to enter high risk areas to provide medical treatment to those in need while remaining neutral Dr. Cross has accumulated a lot of favors and debts owed unto her. Leading to her having a rather expansive information network in regards to both the criminal underworld of the Yakuza and the likes of low grade government groups such as Animal Control and the Police. Leading to both groups being willing to work with her and turn a blind eye to her activities while offering neutrality and protection within reason. Her willingness to treat solo-digimon has since caused this information network to tentatively begin to expand to the digital world.
-While not a trained fighter Dr. Cross has lived a hard and difficult life and is a dab hand at turning every day items into dangerous improvised weaponry in a pinch. Her knowledge of shady tactics, underhanded tricks, deadly chemical compounds, and the skills she's picked up working with police and Yakuza alike make her a difficult opponent to pin down and a hard enemy to predict.
-Speaks English fluently and Japanese functionally

Digivice:
Personality: Cassandra who prefers to go by Cas or Dr. Cross to her patients and colleges is a rather light-hearted young woman with a quick wit and a quicker tongue. She enjoys verbal banter, casual flirting, poetry, and word play, and possesses a rather astonishing memory in terms of facts and trivia. By nature she's highly adaptive often keeping her head in stressful and dangerous situations while refusing to be cowed. Thus often commanding the attention if not respect of those around her. While playful and nearly endlessly patient with patients she dislikes idiots and is prone to turning her sharp tongue and sharper sarcasm on those who irritate her. By nature though Cas is a survivor. Her ability to adapt stems from her unwillingness to trust or depend on anyone outside of a carefully selected few and while she's quite open and charitable to creatures she's far warier of humans. She rarely allows anyone close to her beyond what is necessary to build a working rapport and despises showing any sort of emotional or physical vulnerability. This makes her prone to secreting herself away or lashing out when hurt in order to lick her wounds in solitude. Often causing her to compartmentalize and ignore her own issues or over-work herself in an effort to not think about them.
That being said Cas is a rather likable young woman with an easy smile and a quip usually always on the tip of her tongue. While rather morally gray Cas does her best to stay on the right side of the law or whatever is the 'useful side' as she likes to dub the government and it's officials. She believes more in personal responsibility then she does flimsy words on paper and is far from opposed to bending a few rules so long as it can't be backtracked back to her. After all gaming the system and twisting it to her and others advantages is a long time hobby of hers. While certainly smart Cas is more streetsmart or 'coyote wise' as it was known in her home town. More prone by nature to being a quick study and good at putting things together through time and hard work then she is at any genius level leaps of logic.
Those who do manage to worm their way past her practical and professional exterior will find a rather loyal and driven woman with a fondness for tongue in cheek humor. One whom despite her confident exterior still harbors a deep-seated fear of not being wanted and feels that her worth is based around what she can do and give rather than merely in herself. Yet despite her jaded exterior Cas still harbors some of the wide-eyed wonder of youth and is rarely as unaffected and calm as she appears. Something that often shines through in her excitement when she forgets she's supposed to be the professional.
Appearance: Cassandra is a petite and slim woman with fair skin, distinct razor sharp fangs, and long wild blonde hair. Her appearance standing out as an eerie amalgamation of human and D-reaper genetics. Her once red eyes have lost any semblance of humanity with the whites of her scelera having turned a dark metallic D-reaper black. Her irises now glowing crimson orbs that give off a red light bright enough to be seen even in broad daylight. The Baalmon like slash mark that once marked her right cheek is now a scar of biometal not unlike her left arm which has breached the containment placed upon it to continue it's slow infected crawl past her elbow up her upper arm. Converting the twisted mass of her burn scars into new living metallic flesh. The majority of the scars however remain, marring her left side from just above her hip where infected fire kissed her flesh all the way up her arm and shoulder to crawl it's way up the left side of her neck ending just below her left jaw. The scars themselves are tinted a dull crimson pink like freshly healed wounds no matter how long they age standing out in stark contrast to the crimson glow of Cassandra's veins.
Cas herself has given up on mostly normal apparel. The once black nails that had marked her fingers and toes having likewise been consumed by the D-reaper leaving behind metallic blade like claws of biometal that pierce through most boots and gloves. Leaving the Doctor to modify her foot and handwear to accommodate them and causing her to favor military apparel more so now then ever for it's sturdy build. While Cas still wears her black military cargo pants she's exchanged her long sleeved turtleneck for a black tank top favoring bandaging her hands and arms for easy access to treat them over covering them with sleeves. She has likewise replaced her battered green bomber jacket with a sturdier brown leather jacket with the green medical cross embroidered onto it's back and gloves. When at work however it is often exchanged with her white Doctors lab coat the pale apparel standing out as the one spec of white in her outfit alongside her bandages.

Personal History:
Cassandra Maurine Cross was born happy and healthy in a small hospital in Chattanooga Tennessee to her rather harried nurse of a single Mother. Her Father having been in the United states military before his death in service. Cassandra would spend the first five years of her life in various daycares and bounced between babysitters as her Mother tried to make ends meet before she perished a little before Cas's sixth birthday in a fatal car accident. With only two rather ancient and feeble grandparents in relation to her that were ruled unfit to care for Cas she was thus put at the mercy of the American foster care system. Bouncing from home to home where she grew wild, wary, and more then a little mean in order to survive until she nearly killed an older boy that had been harassing her at the age of twelve prompting her to be pulled from the group home she was currently staying at. She would eventually be placed with an older farmer who kept cattle and horses looking for someone who was willing to work up near the foothills of the Smokey mountains.
It was through him Cas found her passion for animals and nature as the horses and country soothed away many of the rough edges she'd developed trying to keep her soul and sanity intact in the dog eat dog world of government foster care. However, her time bouncing from various homes had taught Cas a few useful skills, namely how to exploit the system. Something she did with much gladness when she decided at fourteen that she wanted to become a natural biologist and set about looking to take advantage of every loophole and scholarship for college she possibly could. At least until she got access to the insurance money at eighteen put aside for her at her parents deaths. The sciences however, were far from supported so when it came time for her to attend college she phrased her interest as something more practical. Something her foster Father would be more likely to encourage and aid in thus majoring in veterinary medicine and minoring in natural biology with the intention to earn her masters on the sly and supplement her knowledge on the species she might be studying. Graduating at age twenty-three Cas managed to earn a minor research grant to study the natural adaptation and evolution of the native animals of Japan as they deal with the various threats and infringement of human society allowing her to travel outside the country like she had always longed to do.
The grant however, was hardly enough to cover her own personal expenses and barely enough for basic research. Thus she pooled her saving to open a small exotic animal clinic on the outer edges of Greater Shibuya. Thus far moonlighting providing medical assistance for the wealthy's more unusual pets and earning her keep with Shibuya's Animal control as their go to vet for when their normal staff are unable to handle an issue has kept her bills paid. In the two years she's been in the area she's managed to build a rapport with the local authorities and improve her Japanese to a functional if not elegant level. She has a strict "No Yakuza" policy in terms of providing back alley medical care. Despite this she's rather well known for providing stitches and assistance in a pinch for the more impoverished sections when it's clear an actual doctor can't be afforded or reached in time to save a patients life so long as it's not done at her place of business. While she upholds her strict rule on not treating gangs she holds no such qualms about aiding those innocents harmed by their violence. This has thus far afforded her the luxury of staying fairly neutral and unharassed in the seedier parts of Greater Shibuya as while the Yakuza are rather displeased at her refusal to treat them the fact she's saved more then a few wives, sons, mothers, and daughters in a pinch when gangs clash has earned her their tentative respect and made her small clinic and the neighborhood surrounding it a neutral zone of sorts. This has complicated Cas's life somewhat, prompting her to go out of her way to earn her paramedic certification in order to treat the people as well as pets that wind up on her doorstep. Thus far the authorities have turned a blind-eye to her aid since she is not actively treating criminals and has made it a point to refer her patients elsewhere after basic medical treatment is given. Even the law officers understand that the poor and those too scared to approach them have to get medical treatment somewhere.
Cassandra's Vehicle
Name: Behemoth
A cursed motorcycle with a mind of it's own often ridden by the Demon Lord of Gluttony. Behemoth takes over the consciousness of those weak willed who ride upon it. Despite it's dark reputation it has a particular fondness for Cassandra Cross serving not only as the Doctor's preferred mode of transportation, but also as the woman's cherished companion. The kindness of which Cross has shown the demonic motorcycle instilling a strange protectiveness and loyalty in Behemoth in regards to the Tamer.
Digimon Name - Partner #1: Cloak
Default Form: Dark Knightmon
Gender: Male
Alignment: Chaotic Nuetral
Skills/Talents:
Inventory:
Holosuit Appearance:
Personality: Of the twins Cloak is the calmer more level-headed of the two. While far from silent next to his chatterbox of a sibling this digimon almost appears quiet. This is however, far from the truth as Cloak vastly enjoys verbal sparring as much as he does physical sparring and tends to possess a quick and cutting wit and a deep love for comebacks and one-liners. While more prone to assessing a situation first rather then diving head-long into the fray Cloak is a bit overly prideful of his own intelligence and tactical abilities and often tends to under-estimate his opponents. This more often then not leads to him being taken down a peg when he least expects it leaving Cloak to sulk and fume for a few days before deciding if it's worth it to take revenge. While he does not cling to his anger this digimon may be willing to forgive, but he rarely forgets.
While Cloak often tends to conduct himself as the 'mature' twin he's rather prone to being drawn into his siblings childish bickering if only because he can't resist a good argument and is often unwilling to leave an issue well enough alone until he's certain his opponent knows who's won. Namely the victor being him. In the case where he's not the victor he tends to do his best to quietly retreat and ignore the incident or downplay his own involvement. Despite his pride Cloak is highly observant and tends to be the first of the two to pick up when their tamer is upset and when there is an issue.
Personal History: While little is still known about the twins past Cloak harbors memories of the Dark Continent. Believing to have lived there prior to his memory loss. Most of what he can recall comes in unpleasant snatches leaving the digimon to suspect he'd once served as a General for one of the past Dark Area's tyrants.
Digimon Name - Partner #2: Dagger
Default Form: Duramon
Gender: Male
Alignment: Lawful Nuetral
Skills/Talents:
Inventory:
Holosuit Appearance:
Personality: Dagger tends to embody the saying of "Shoot first, ask questions later." A bit of a hot head he's prone to tackling a situation head on with the belief that goodness and justice will see him through. By nature he is loud and proud, and extremely prone to talking the ear off of anyone that will sit still and put up with him long enough to listen. He enjoys fighting and contests of brute force as of the two siblings he tends to be the stronger one physically and enjoys using his strength to overcome his twins biting wit. Mostly since despite his flashy displays of confidence Dagger tends to wear his heart on his sleeve and get his feelings hurt rather easily. Though nowhere near as clever as his sibling Dagger is far from a slouch in the tactical department. He simply rarely employs anything more then your basic smash and grab or overwhelming force strategy unless heavily pressed.
He is particularly fond of playing the hero preferring to be the star of the show and shining focus of attention. Dagger loves swooping in at the last second to pull off amazing saves and helping others both out of the goodness of his own heart as much as for the praise. Despite the rather shining example of heroic goodness he attempts to portray the digimon himself has a rather nasty temper when crossed and is prone to exploding in anger when his ire is roused. Likewise he's known to stubbornly cling to an issue harrying a problem like a dog chews at a bone till he either solves it or breaks himself against it. Though he often plays at having a short attention span Dagger has a rather long memory and unlike his sibling is known for carrying a grudge nearly eternally unless confronted and forced to give it up. Unlike his sibling though he tends to be as free with his affection as he is his anger and it's fairly easy to tell at all times what this digimon is feeling as he rarely turns taciturn or silent unless highly distressed.

Type: Dark Knight
Fighting Style: A skilled and dangerous tactician and equally deadly fighter for Dark Knightmon the end suits whatever means necessary to achieve it no matter how dirty. He prefers to destroy his opponents emotionally, mentally, and physically before they ever have a chance to retaliate turning the battlefield into a war of the mind as much as the body with psychological warfare and horrifying attacks on his opponents moral. Despite this he still carries himself with some honor and his word is his bond though those whom deal with him should be very careful to check the exact wording of any promise he might give. For other then his twin and his Tamer there is nothing and no one he will not destroy in the face of achieving victory.
Abilities:
- Undead Soldiers: Dark Knightmon plunges his twin spear into the ground as it glows with dark energy summoning three undead wraiths of deceased Digimon to fight for him. The wraiths are limited to normal attacks, but since they no longer live or feel pain are capable of taking quite a bit of damage before the hollow shell of their remaining data fully dissolves. The wraiths last for four turns or until destroyed by enemies or cannibalized by Dark Knightmon to restore ten percent of his health per wraith. Once per thread.

In truth his attack slices through time and space allowing his attack to launch itself at the enemy from any angle catching his opponent unaware and often in the back dealing massive damage. Fighting Style: Born of Cloak's smartmouth, Daggers hot head lack of impulse control, and the general volatile mix of features that is the two twins unique personalities Deceimon exemplifies both the best and worst of the Digimon that make up him. An acrobatic and dexterous fighter Deceimon likes to dance around his opponents dodging, weaving, and generally showing off. This more often then not leaves him eating dirt when he forgets to watch where he's going and crashes into a tree or a fist that wasn't there before. Deceimon in general is proud, loud, and a more often then not literally on fire proving as much as help as a hindrance at times.
Abilities:
-Ashcloud: The Digimon takes a deep break firing a large gout of burning ash and flame that blinds an enemy for 1 turn and acts as a smokescreen for two turns. Cooldown two turns.
-Firestarter: The Digimon spits out a fireball damaging enemies at range and setting flammable objects and people on fire.
-Flamelance: The Digimons claws super heat glowing a bright molten red as it lashes out with enough power to slice solid rock in two like butter. Cooldown two turns
- Hijack: The Digimon stabs an enemy with it's tails temporarily hacking that Digimon and forcing them to fight for it for one turn. The control is limited too to the letter orders such as "Attack 'target A" or "Go to 'coordinate B" forcing Deceimon to have to be specific and careful with what he says lest he give his target undue leeway. Cooldown three turns
- Meltdown: The Digimon slashes up with it's claws sending a wave of magma at it's enemies which will burn them for two turns if it connects before hardening to stone slowing down and hampering movement. Cooldown three turns.
-Phase Out: The Digimon turns immaterial making them impervious to damage, but unable to attack. Allowing them to move through solid objects at will, but if they wish to engage an enemy they must opt to cancel the ability. Lasts two turns if not turned off at max. Cooldown three turns

MERCENARY 1
Digimon Name: Zaku
Default Form: Monitamon
Gender: Male
Alignment: Neutral
Skills/Talents:
-Stealthy: Despite being rather prone to bickering the two Monitamon brothers are unusually stealthy when hiding. Giving themselves away with neither sound nor sight when concealed though they can still be detected by scent.
-Uplink: Both Monitamon are capable of linking with Cassandra's D-terminal and each other to send her information and even direct video whether she is in the human or digital world. Allowing her to see through the two digimon's eyes in live time if she wishes.
Inventory:
-Shuriken
-Trap Kit
-Smoke bombs
Personality: Zaku is an extremely chipper and excitable little Digimon that loves to please. While not exactly brave he'll run distractions when he can to help out and is willing to step up to the plate when it counts. He enjoys traps, pranks, and anime, and like his sibling is more a lover then a fighter. Making him perfectly content to do recon and wage battles from the safety of afar. That doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy showing off and takes great pride in considering himself one of the Doctor's 'guards.' For a 'ninja' though he's rather easily scared and often seeks comfort from Cas huddling behind her legs with his brother. Typically threatening any enemies that threaten their contractor with a few pointed shuriken from the safety of the Tamer's shadow. Likewise while he tries to put up a brave fight he's rather a baby about injuries typically tearing up till Cas fixes whatever damage he's taken. Unlike Char who tries to act like he doesn't need the comfort Zaku is perfectly content to be babied and though he longs to be the super awesome hero in battle his brother says they can be he's perfectly content scouting and being the homebody.
Personal History:
The Monitamon siblings are one of Cas's more recent finds when the two Digimon as Monimons ended up stumbling into the real world and getting themselves lost and in trouble with the local animal control. Leading to Cas discovering them stuck in a stray dog trap from which she freed them earning a life debt from the two Digimon. Not that Cas particularly cared about life debts, but she did bring the pair back home with her to feed them and patch them up. Eventually offering them a few options and inquiring if they wished to remain in the human world or return to the digital world. In the end the siblings chose to stay and deciding that a little recon and extra muscle wouldn't hurt the Doctor's fledgling information network she decided to hire the two on and naming them from her favorite anime.

Fighting Style: While built more for scouting then fighting Zaku prefers to take a more defensive stance when forced to engage in combat. Often leading his opponents into clever traps or away from the Doctor while attempting to get them to turn their back to his sibling so the pair can double team the enemy. All and all though he's excellent at defending a fixed position or running recon on potential allies or enemies.
Abilities:
-RADAR: Monitamon scans their surroundings with radar pulses allowing them to detect objects, people, and Digimon as far afield as five miles. The Monitamon may take one post to switch gears allowing it to detect even concealed objects within fifty yards, but to go back to normal Radar it must take another post to change back. However, it gives no other information about their targets beyond their location making it impossible to determine if a ping is a hostile opponent or just someone passing through.
-CyberRecon: Monitamon uses it's advanced scanners which function as improved scanners to scan a target within line of sight not only revealing the same information an improved scanner would, but also scanning the digimon's data makeup for instabilities or anomalies. Allowing the Monitamon to build and add information about the target to a visual profile within the Monitamon's database. Cooldown two turns.
-In Plain Sight: The Monitamon blends into the background becoming invisible for five turns so long as it does not engage in combat. Cooldown three turns.

Personality: Of the two brothers Char considers himself the defacto leader and the level-headed one, but truth be told he's just as excitable as his sibling. He's rather proud and a little rash making him easy to rile with insults and jeers though his loyalty keeps him from being lured too far afield from whatever task he's on. He like his sibling enjoys anime and traps, but prefers strategy games to pranks. Likewise he is also incredibly proud to have been selected as one of the Doctor's 'guards' and tends to puff himself up with pride while play acting out fighting off evil villains when no one is watching. He tends to revel in the idea of combat, but like his twin is more a lover then a fighter preferring to scout and take down his enemies from afar. When confronted with a far stronger opponent he typically chooses to retreat or run distractions harrying his opponent from a distance. If retreat isn't an option then he'll stand his ground, but only does so if his contractor cannot be moved. In truth he's more prone to hiding behind Cas then standing guard in front of her. Often seeking comfort and reassurance from the Tamer when no one is looking, but pretending he needs no such babying when being watched.

Digimon Name: Jegan
Default Form: Medicmon
Gender: Male
Alignment: Neutral Good
Skills/Talents:
-Trained Medical Assistant: Jegan is capable of aiding in stabilizing a medical patient both human or digital, doing first aid, and surgical prep. Allowing him to assist a trained doctor or surgeon with little fuss and even boosting their success rate with his aid.
-Uplink: Jegan is capable of linking with Cassandra's D-terminal to send her information whether she is in the human or digital world. Allowing her to access and examine any data his scanners have picked up.
Inventory:
-Digital Medic Kit
Personality:
Jegan is an efficient and logical digimon with a rather machine-like outlook on life. Straight laced and practical he prefers to remain the consummate professional at all times and hates disorganization. If a machine could get hives chaos would certainly give him them as in the thick of things without a superior too look to or guidelines to follow Jegan becomes easily confused and upset. He does, however, do excellent in terms of taking orders and loves a solid chain of command. Giving much the appearance of a mechanical honeybee as he bustles about attending to his tasks and growing distressed or despondent when left to idle. Beyond the necessary greetings and assessments Jegan despises small talk preferring to remain silent and concentrated on his tasks. When forced to communicate he tends to be rather blunt saving his politeness for the Doctor alone and only offering up the bare amount of information required to ensure whoever is currently speaking to him leaves him be. When not aiding Cassandra he prefers to clean, file, and organize things, but has a distinct fondness for piano and violin music. While openly dismissive of Char and Zaku's fascination with anime he is no less easily fascinated with such programs though he will often flip to channels to something more 'educational' when he thinks someone is watching or pretend to be reading or cleaning when then the two Monitamon are on a mobilesuit binge.
Personal History:
Originally from Hardware Den Jegan is yet another of Cas's rescues having run afoul of a hungry Machinedramon while working to help repair the solar panels that power the small settlement. Chased far from his home by the hungry Mega he eventually managed to find refuge hiding among the dunes, but in doing so became helplessly lost in the process. Leading to him to stumbling into Rustport tired, weak, hungry, and exhausted while still suffering from the injuries he'd incurred dodging the mechanical Digimon that had sought to make a meal out of him. There he was pointed towards a Doctor who was staying in the area for a time on a separate mission and received treatment from her. Marveling at how well the Medicmon had done in cleaning and doing his best to prevent infection of his own injuries given the circumstances Cassandra offered him the position of medical assistant. A position the Medicmon did not immediately agree to take, but as he returned to Hardware Den he found himself thinking more and more on the offer and the debt he owed the woman until he decided to leave his rather meager home for 'greener pastures' as it were and take up the offered position. Eventually earning the name Jegan from the Doctor and finding a greater purpose in working alongside her than just cleaning minor cuts and fixing solar panels.

May be used on one patient per turn and cannot take accurate readings beyond twenty-five feet.
-Triage: Medicmon places their target whether human or digimon into a temporary bio-stasis for five posts. This stasis does not stop the target from interacting or being aware of their surroundings, but instead slows their vitals down to a point they are at a standstill preventing any wounds or infections they are suffering from from getting worse. However should the target engage in combat the bio-stasis will be immediately broken. Cooldown one post.
-Antidote: Medicmon points to a target as they are bathed in healing blue light ending whatever current ongoing negative physical status effect may be afflicting them and halving the time of negative mental effects. Cooldown three posts.
-Patch Job: Bombarding a target with healing light Medicmon may close up the wounds of a rookie or below Digimon in a single turn, the wounds of a Champion Digimon in two turns, and the wounds of a Perfect Digimon in four turns. This however does not magically 'fix' the injury, but is in fact Medicmon speeding up his targets own healing process meaning that if a broken bone is not properly set or if a wound is not properly cleaned and cared for it will heal up wrong.
