Coughing out a bit of blood, Chie let go of the chain as she slowly started to use Do as a crutch, grabbing him by the top of his head. Slowly regaining composure. "Apologies, that outburst has been a long time coming." If her hand wasn't already there, Do would think a question mark would appear as he was confused. They had only known eachother for less than a day. "Ouch, also long time? We just met today!"
Chie rolled her eyes, she thought he thought her fuse was that short, but the truth is a lot deeper than that. It had just occured to her how much she had bottled up inside as everyone else fell apart. She never had the chance, the day she was supposed to relax, she blew up instead. Barely standing, she let out a shaky response. "My mother, died, in a hospital. Doctor screwed up."
Do couldn't tell whether to feel guilty or not, but he did feel pressure, but that was probably the weight of his partner. Emotionally, she couldn't feel anything at the moment as apathy started to settle in. All this time she realized she had been stuck on the first stage of grief that the second she had time, she burst right into anger. "First time since the funeral since I had time to grieve, it was bound to happen. I haven't left home in months."
Do shrugged as he was confused as to how to proceed. He felt like talking to Chie while her pain threshold is being reached is dangerous, but then again, so are most beings when they reach their threshold. "So no Digimon doctors? Or no doctors at all?"
Still in denial that she needs medical attention, Chie bitterly tries to dodge the truth. But she's running out of excuses. "So, this Digiport should take me to Shibuya station, right? That can't be far, from Shibuya general hospital. Should be able to make it."
