Name: Jacobi Sparks/Cole Archer (Prefer Jacobi)
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Desired Position: Game Master, (or Staff Assistant)
Staff Experience: Lets see, where to start...
-From age 11 to 14 I created and ran a highly successful InuYasha RP Forum, in its time the most active one on the net.
-During that time and afterwords I worked as Mod,Admin, and Graphics Mod across 5 other forums.
-Created and ran a number of RP forums over the years, nothing that took off to any major extent but still experience creating more advanced forums then the first one I had.
-On Iwaku, a fairly popular RP site, for a short time I ran a SAO RP Group on there that for 3 weeks straight was the #1 Active Group on Iwaku, and even after that stayed in the top 10 for its duration there.
-While not RP staff experience, it still counts due if anything due to the sheer numbers involved. I am one of the Higher Ranked Admin and Co-Founder of the Facebook group "Forza Racing Network", which currently sits at over 18,300 members. This comes with a lot of experience running events involving high numbers of members, and dealing with...not so nice members, we'll go with, in a professional and objective manner.
RolePlay Experience: I'm going to give a summery of my experience, and provide example posts with thread links.
Summery: I started roleplaying when I was 9-10, starting out in chat rooms before moving onto Forums for the first time when I was 10-11ish. From that time until I was 17 roleplaying was a nearly every day thing, and since then I've taken a couple hiatuses but still have kept up with my writing, if I wasn't on a forum--I was 1x1 RPing with friends.

Campaign Speech: Overall, bring 15 years of roleplay and staffing experience with me, I have been around the block a time or two, its something I am very familiar with. I am specifically looking into the Game Master position, as I know I have the ability to provide the members of DFRP interesting and unique NPC experiences. I put thought into NPCs in attempt to make them stand out, a good example of that is my lil' Rhyming DemiDevimon I NPC'd in Moonlit Melodies--Digital World Blues. I've spent years fighting in roleplays, and feel very comfy doing so for members, and can provide other challenges beyond just fights. I love creating stories and helping others fulfill their character's arcs.
This is probably the biggest part--I am extremely active, I find myself here for hours with nothing to do, and this could be a great opportunity to fill in this down time by helping out others in their threads and bring my writing skills back to their prime, while providing members hopefully memorable threads. As long as nothing happens to change things, I feel I'm going to be here for a long time, roleplaying is my escape, I love doing it and feel down when I'm sitting around wanting to write with nothing to respond too--and if I can use my passion to help out staff, to provide members with fun and challenging threads they will remember for their time spent at DFRP--then that is worth putting my name in the hat, even knowing I haven't been around all that long yet...only time will change that.
Additional Comments: I understand I do not quite yet meet the requirement of having been here a month, but I will meet that in roughly a week and a half. I wanted to make my interest in the position known, even if it doesn't happen this time, maybe I'll be on the potential list next time.

From 'Crossing the Divide Pt.2'
"Tsuki came back over to her lone bench and sat down, the Digimon's face remaining upset. She was worried--as she tended to get. When her ears picked up the Caprimon speak up, she looked to watch Cloak hopping off to first get the Digivice, then head towards the house. "...You think Cloak can talk to him?" Tsuki questioned, looking to Cas. She could read the stress on the woman's face. "You ok...? We don't need two of you blowing up on us now..." she asked with concern.
During the moment there was a bit of pause in the situation, before Cloak had enough time to get the Digivice and circle around--Cole had done the smart thing and changed into a pair of dry pants, he had managed to find a pair of kind of baggy cargo pants to wear in the meantime. By the time the Caprimon had fetched the Digivice and made his way back around the house, Cole had resumed his seat in the doorway--again leaned against the door frame, silently looking off into the sky...Even the sky was strange here--it didn't seem natural.
He didn't even hear Cloak coming up--not too surprising, Cloak probably wasn't the loudest, even if he was bouncing. The Caprimon didn't get Cole's attention until the digivice landed in his lap, eyes slowly shifting from looking up to looking down, Cole rather surprised to see Cloak of all people beside him. Cole figured the small Digimon simply came to scold him or kick him while he's clearly down, the man's eyes averting back away from Cloak as the Caprimon's voice crossed his ears. Unlike what he expected, it was the small Digimon saying it was him n' Dagger's faults--not Cole's..
Cole never looked back to Cloak after the initial glance, his eyes remained looking off into the distance--frankly to nothing. "...You and Dagger didn't even know who or where you was, she said she found you two alone--confused--and scared. You two was just in a situation you could do nothing to help. I made mistakes I could've actively avoided...I walked around a rough neighborhood I didn't even know without paying attention to my surroundings and got hurt...I didn't just walk away when I should've after she helped me up off the street...I could've left instead of staying the night....I could've just ignored the Digivice--I could've never showed it to her--I could've just went on my own and none of you would've been involved...But I didn't...every chance to hit the brakes on this train wreck I ignored, against better judgement or common sense." the man would quietly respond--voice a lot more calm then a few minutes earlier, but still filled with pent up guilt. He let out a sigh and finally glanced back down to look the Digimon in the eyes, green hues meeting Cloak's golden orbs.
"Because of my poor decisions I've lead all of us here...I almost got us all killed in the first 5 minutes here...If K hadn't have come and saved us, then what? We'd have been dead...and I couldn't do anything about it...after getting us here in the first place...This isn't you and Dagger's fault at all, you had no choices--you didn't make poor decisions, just victims of your situation and Cassandra happened to come along you two in your time of need...and yeah--same could be said for me as far as that goes--I was down and out, literally dying on the sidewalk...and she saved me...but the difference is I got myself in that situation, in this situation--you did nothing do get yourself in you n' Dagger's position..." the man would go on, explaining rather clearly the difference. Maybe Cloak felt guilty, but he had not done anything to actively arrive here...poor choices didn't lead him here--unlike Cole. The young man sighed.
"...Look...I get she has a point....sitting here feeling guilty about what I've done is going to get us no where...but sitting around a campfire and doing nothing won't get us anywhere either..." he'd say, glancing off forward again. There was a small pause before Cole continued. "...I just want to get Cas home safe...I got us into this mess...I need to get us out of it. That is all that matters to me right now...I don't care if I die to make that happen...I may not know her very well, but she saved me...without her, you'd be reading my obituary this morning in the newspaper not knowing who the hell I am instead of being here...Now its my turn to save her." he said followed by a shaky breath, looking down in his lap and at the Digivice...he slowly reached down and picked it up, looking at the D3. "...Cloak? You call her Hime, right?...I been noticing it since this morning--my Japanese is a bit rough but that means princess...right? If so then...I think you can understand the sentiment of wanting to keep her safe." he'd finish off, still looking at his Digivice, examining it...oddly it wasn't damaged from flying the distance of a medium sized house and almost becoming fertilizer for a tree."
---------------------
"While the answer Cas offered Tsuki wasn't much more descriptive then Cole's answer, it still told Tsuki a good bit more what happened--still lacking Details. She'd glance back over to Cole--the man lazily lifting up his arm to show her the recently fixed up work on his arm--stitches, bandage, you know, all that fun jazz. Cas knew what she was doing. The group all finished their meals within a peaceful silence, it was sort of relaxing after such an excitement filled couple days for the two Humans, and day for the trio of Digimon.
The silence was briefly broken after Cas would rise from her seat, scooping the twins up in her arms. Cole would look up from his spot on the ground, hearing Cassandra's idea to go ahead and turn in. Cole would nod back to her as she nodded to him, offering her a couple words--"Alright, night Cas...You deserve some decent rest." he spoke quietly, eyes returning to look into the fire afterwords. Tsuki would give Cas a smile in return, waving, "Goodnight sweeties." she's said through the smile to the trio.
Cole gave another glance back to Cas as she had unzipped the tent and entered it, before returning his gaze to the fire, it giving his jade hues an interesting shade. Another silence fell, it would last a couple minutes--but soon Tsuki would shift from her spot on the bench, coming over to Cole and sitting near her--but not too close as to make him feel uncomfortable. This made the young man look over to her. "...Hm?"
Tsuki looked at Cole a moment before speaking, quiet as to not disturb the three in the tent, but Cas could still overhear if she was listening. "Cole dear can I ask you something?" Tsuki asked...funny how that is, ask to ask if you can ask them something. Cole would nod. "Om...I don't mean to pry but I seen it earlier...can you show me your necklace? I wanna see it better..." she'd ask. Cole's eyes narrowed at Tsuki, bringing up the necklace was a touchy subject...but with a huffed sigh he looked away in slight annoyance, using his thumb to hook the chain and lift it from under his shirt--revealing it to Tsuki. The Digimon would eye it closely, and it was confirmed for her...she seen this necklace before. She looked back up to him and smiled, "Its a very pretty necklace Cole." she'd let him know. He stuffed it back under his shirt and pushed himself to stand up, taking a few steps away while pushing his hands into his pocket, faced away. "...It belonged to someone important to me." he'd admit quietly.
Tsuki's ears dropped, but her curiosity spiked. Could he be talking about the girl she seen with the same necklace? Of course, it must be!...But why would Cole seem so touchy about it...Tsuki couldn't help but ask."Om...Would that someone special's name happen to be Scarlet?" she'd ask. Cole's eyes burst wide and his heart sank straight into his stomach, he quickly snapped to face Tsuki, eyes staring at her. "...H-...h-how....how do you....k-know that name...." he questioned, voice clearly in absolute shock..in fear..he could feel his heart start racing even in the very short time it took Tsuki to answer. "I met a girl a long time ago named Scarlet, about 9 or 10 years ago, and...she had a necklace just like that. I seen her about 3 weeks ago, she passed through the village...she was distant and I just...I wanted to know if you knew her cause I remember she had a necklace like that years ago, and was worried about her." Tsuki would explain, eyes shifting down while she was speaking. No response came from Cole...Tsuki finally would look up, but what she saw...she'd never forget. "...C-Cole...?"
Cole's face was twisted--was it shock? Sadness? Anger? Disbelief of what he's hearing? He started to hyperventilate, the man taking a step back from Tsuki--stumbling but catching his footing, if only just. His hands came up and gripped both sides of his head, fingers digging into his skull with such force it was a surprise he didn't tear his own skin. "S-shes...S-Sca...Scar....is a--....ali--...." he barely got out between breathes, not even able to finish his sentence. He'd hurl his head back, then forward, silently screaming on the inside. He literally fell forward to the ground, hitting hard as he gripped his head as if it was causing him excruciating pain. Tsuki jumped up, eyes full of fear and concern as she ran up to Cole. She tried to rest her paw on his back but a huge flinch made her retract her paw. "C-Cole please...whats wrong?!" Tsuki cried, somewhat loudly--enough it'd definitely had grabbed Cas's attention from the tent only a short distance away.
This was followed by a silence, neither spoke for a moment, and only the ambient sounds of the night could be heard. Cole slowly put his hands to the ground, very slowly rising up on his hands and knees, staring at the ground as tears begun to just rain down from his eyes. The silence was suddenly broken at the sound of Cole punching the dirt....at first once.......then twice--three times--and another number of times so swift it was hard to count. Cole had hit the ground hard enough and enough times all of his knuckles now bled rather badly, Tsuki's eyes tearing up as she could see the pain Cole was in now. Finally...words came from the man. "...She....Sc-...Scarlet is my sister...For 9 years...I...I thought she was dead...." he struggled to get out, shutting his eyes in an attempt to try to stop the waterfall of tears falling from them as he quietly begun to sob. Tsuki's eyes now too dripped with tears and she knelled down next to Cole. "...I-I'm sorry Cole...I....I didn't know...." she tried to apologize.
A small sniffle came from the man as he lifted his arm, wiping his tears into the sleeve as he push himself to stand with his free arm, Tsuki looking up at the tall man. His arm dropped and blood begun dripping from his fingertips...Cole begun walking slowly, just...walking...he had no aim, no where in mind...but he was off--just a slow pace. Tsuki looked back down, feeling guilty over what she just caused for Cole...After a few feet he stopped...then turned--almost like a zombie Cole would quietly stumble towards the Tent. His hand would come over to cup his knuckles, making sure not to get blood everywhere as he'd enter the tent. His hair covered his eyes as he slowly moved in the tent, finally the man would come to a stop--bending down and shifting to lay down.
He laid down somewhat close to Cas and the twins, but with his back facing her as he laid on his side. The man would simply curl up where he was, his hand still cupping his bleeding knuckles...tears would eventually stop, but it wouldn't be for a while. Part of him wanted to be alone, wanted to just be left in a hole somewhere forever...the other part of him craved being grounded, some human contact, something to tell him it'd be ok...even if it was as little as Cas turning to give the clearly distraught man a brief half hug or something...He needed something to keep him sane, before he lost his mind.
Tsuki was upset too, surely not as much as Cole, but she felt horrible. She'd eventually stand up and after a while kick some dirt over the fire to snuff it out--the BlackGabumon walking in silence back to her home, entering and shutting the door behind her."
---------------------------------
"Cole would just let her do her job, even though part of him just wanted to leave it as some sort of self prescribed punishment--but no, he'd just hold up his hand to let her do her job--wincing once as she cleaned it up. He fell silent for a moment while she spoke, trying to calm himself down so he could actually speak properly--or at least the best he could considering.
He'd look up at her, eyes meeting Cas's as he responded quietly--voice a bit more calm but still holding signs of his strong emotions. "Yes....it is good shes alive...b-but Tsuki said she was without her Digimon--that she was alone...you--.." he stopped and glanced away, unable to look her in the eyes as the thought from earlier crossed his mind. "You've seen it...this place is dangerous...I almost got us all killed earlier and that was four of us....she's just by herself here..." he'd explain to her his concern, why he was so worried...even then that was weeks ago according to Tsuki...there was no proof she was even still alive--but no--Cole couldn't think like that, he won't! He took a breath and turned back to face Cas, looking to look her in the eyes again.
"Cas...I...I'm sorry....I'm sorry about earlier...I was an asshole and you didn't deserve me to snap at you like I did..." He'd begin to apologize about the incident earlier--clearly there was lingering guilt over it and he wanted it off his chest. "I just...when I thought about what could've happened....that you could've been hurt or worse because of things I had a huge hand in causing...it just ate at me...It was tearing me apart--but you was right...I should've just listened to you. Beating myself up wasn't going to do us any good and you saw that when I couldn't...then how I reacted...I just made an ass of myslf...I'm sorry Cas...." he'd continue, eyes finally glancing down from looking to Cas's face once he said sorry a second time. His eyes would look to his hand she freshly bandaged up, then to his arm. He sighed quietly. "...I promise I'm going to help us get home....but after that I need to find Scarlet...I...I need to bring her home..." he'd say, essentially making a promise to Cas as well as one to himself to help his sister. His eyes shifted back to look at Cas, tears still hanging in the edge of the man's eyes even if he was more calm then he had been."
--------------------
"Cole would listen to her response, understandably she agree'd how he acted wasn't ok, but she understood the feeling of being upset and stressed. He'd nod softly with the second part that followed...he knew this--him and Cloak's conversation earlier brought this to his attention. Once she finished up with his hand he'd let it rest on his lap as he sat, the man being quiet for now. He was calming himself down and thinking while Cassandra cleaned up her medical gear. When would he learn to stop doing things that got himself hurt? Either way, he'd look over to her as she moved to be between the twins and settled down.
He still remained quiet--he'd honestly spoken enough a moment ago and he was tired, his eyes trailing back down to look at his newly wrapped hand. Cassandra's words would cross his ears, the man looking back over to her as she rested between Cloak and Dagger. She said she'd help him find his sister, or do what she could to help...it meant a lot to him, but the last part is what got him. 'You don't have to shoulder everything on your own'...these was words the man needed to hear...because until now that was his issue, he'd take the weight of the world upon his shoulders and try to bare it alone.
He'd shift in his spot and go to lay back down, laying on his back and looking up to the top of the tent--watching it slowly move with the breeze. It'd be a moment later Cas's soft voice would whisper, just a small bit of words as she was drifting to sleep...Cole would shut his eyes, nodding to himself as he'd accept her words. The man turned over and would simply whisper three words in return as Cas finished and was drifting off to sleep. "...Thank you Cas.""

From "Moonlit Melodies--Digital World Blues"
"Night had fallen only a short time ago, deciding it best to take time to rest--two travelers would set up their makeshift camp at the edge of the Server Woods and bordering The Tyrants Labyrinth. There was a small clearing in the woods, just off a walking path running through both wooded areas--in this clearing one would see the flickering orange and yellow glow cast by a fire. In a makeshift fire pit there went a small blaze, casting light among the darkness that surrounded them. Sitting about this fire was two individuals, Cole and Tsuki, both relaxing and resting aching feet. They had been walking all day--the BlackGabumon sat on the ground next to the fire, rubbing her foot as she warmed it up near the blaze--Cole was sat more back, out of the heat of the fire but still basked in its glow.
The young man let his hair fall a bit into his face--the longer brown locks framing his young face as he sat, leaned back against a tree, and upon his lap--an Acoustic Guitar. He hadn't played it since he found out about the Digital world...randomly grabbing it on a whim last time he was home. He didn't know why, considering it was somewhat bulky to bring with him--and made stealth basically not an option as the wrong movement could make it make noise...but he needed something to ground him, and the gift from his sister years ago was a good start. Tsuki looked over at Cole, a small frown crossing her face. "...Come on dear--you been hauling that thing around all day...go ahead and play it. I wanna hear..." she'd encourage the man. He'd glance over to her, jaded jade hues that looked like he barely slept in a week meeting the BlackGabumon's bright azure orbs. "Fine..."
He'd sigh after responding to Tsuki and pluck the guitar pick from the neck of the instrument--it trapped between the strings. He'd take a minute to make sure it was in tune, going through the motions and annoyances every guitarist feels when they gotta tune their axe. Finally with two successful sounding chords he knew he had it right--or close enough at least, finishing off his prep work by sticking a capo on the 2nd fret, just raising its natural tune a step higher. He paused a moment...he felt a rush of uneasy feeling wash over him--but pushed it aside--the man's eyes gaining a hint of focus as he sat up properly against the tree. He'd take a breath, and with his fingers tap off three times on the guitar in rhythm, on cue for the fourth he'd begin playing. It started with a soft intro, and as the time came--the man begun singing along with the music. Tsuki's ears perked up as she watched her friend, listening to the song he begun playing and seeing.
As the song went on--it got louder, he poured more of himself into the performance--shutting out the world around him completely as he played the song...as if he sat on stage in an empty theater. His voice and melody carried throughout the forest for a good while, easy to be heard. Tsuki had first smiled when he begun playing, but slowly she could feel emotion wash over her...she could find the meaning behind the lyrics relative to Cole's situation...slowly she got a more somber expression on her face as the emotions the man had pent up all week seemed to pour into the air around them...Cole was emotional sure--but he kept them pent up for the most part, he never would open up to anyone--not her, not Cas, no one. Not much anyways...but when he played, his music, his voice--it told the whole story...if you could read it.
((Song he's playing and singing is Sunrise by Our Last Night, click for a listen.))"
-----------------
"Cole would hear how Ravenna reacted, him looking over to her, his lips curling in a bit of a frown. He didn't mean it like that...she really tended to take things the wrong way. But he didn't have time to say anything, no, Ravenna stepped up to the doors and opened the one marked with a C. Instantly she was sent flying by blast of air, Cole's eyes filling with concern as he watched her fly across the room and slam into a wall--crumpling to the ground afterwords. He grit his teeth and ran over, knelling down beside Ravenna to check on her. "Ravenna you ok?!" he asked, concern for her in his voice--Tsuki would have ran over and joined them, standing on the other side of Ravenna.
The echo of Nero's voice could anger Cole to the core now--this was the 2nd time he'd caused Injury to Ravenna when she was in her Human form, this time worse then the last as he watched her struggle and fail to stand back up. He grit his teeth as he turned back, looking around the room. Was this seriously happening, did Nero really just say that? He'd listen to Ravenna and Nero have a spat back and forth, Cole's hands balled into fists and he stood up, turning his back to Ravenna and Tsuki, head hung...a silence fell--Tsuki looked up at Cole, and it crossed her mind...was he thinking about the offer? Could he really betray Ravenna for that necklace?
"...Do you really think so low of me Nero...Are you so lost in your own little world that you'd be naive enough to believe I'd actually accept that offer...That I'd just cast Ravenna away to get what I want? That I'd betray her like that?!" His head lifted, eyes full of what could only be described as a mix of anger, honor, and determination. "I don't care if I just met her, or if she gets on my nerves. I don't care if she says some rude shit I don't agree with. I want my necklace back, you don't even know what it means to me...what I've gone through to keep it out of the hands of creeps like you...I've literally nearly given my life for that necklace--"--he'd lift his arm, showing the healing but still rather fresh gash across his arm's main vain, where he was attacked over the necklace and Cassandra had to stitch him up to stop him from literally bleeding out in the street--"--and I would do it all over again and again. I'd die for that necklace...but if you think I'd sacrifice Ravenna...that I'd just leave her here for you to play your sick games with and walk away with my sister's necklace...then you have a lot to learn about humans Nero--its clear you're no human, and at this point you're not even a Digimon! Just a low-life monster who gets kicks out of toying with other people's lives! So you can take your offer and shove it down that flying rat of your's throat...cause when I find you two...You will answer for what you've done here." the man would say his speech with extreme determination, heart, and raw emotion. Tsuki smiled as she heard Cole's words...she knew he meant them.
Cole breathed a bit heavy after his speech, he was angry but also seeing clearly what was going on. But his attention was brought back to Ravenna, seeing her bury her face into her hands and exclaim something out loud...at first it didn't make any sense, but Cole quickly realized she was talking to her Spirit within. He'd turn back around fully and knell back down, gently placing his hand on her shoulder. "Ravenna it'll be okay...we're gonna get out of here, I promise." the man said in a soothing manner, trying to reassure the girl."
------------------
"Cole watched as Ravenna puffed herself up, fairly literally, to give DemiDevimon a piece of her mind. But the Digimon had no response, by the time she finished the doors slammed behind the bat-like Digimon. He'd listen to her first suggestion, but it was quickly dismissed--the next question caused the man to look over to Tsuki--and her back at him. Sync'd with each other, they'd let out sighs of disappointment. Tsuki walked over to stand next to Cole, looking to Ravenna. "I have never Digivolved past this stage...At least not in this lifetime...and even if I did I don't know if it'd help any." Tsuki would explain. This Digimon has lived 2 previous lives, where she had been able to go past Rookie stage, but she hasn't in this life cycle...heck the only reason the two knew they was linked together was Cole's D3 could help her shift between Rookie and In-Training whenever they went to the Human world.
Cole sighed and stepped over to the giant towering wall, leaning his back against the lower molding of the wall that was just as tall as him--something usually only 2 or 3 inches tall was a full 6 foot here. He'd cross his arms and shut his eyes, but an almost sad smirk crossed his features. "Heh...guess thats it then...Ravenna if you can get Tsuki up there then please, just go... Don't worry about me and get yourselves out of here. You're stronger then me, I know it seems you and your Spirit don't get along but that Spirit makes you strong...and I don't mean just cause it can make you become a Digimon--because its conditioned you to be strong on your own, independent of the spirit...I know you don't need my help to get out of here...just do me a favor and get Tsuki out too, she's light enough you should be able to carry her if you can become something bigger then the last form I seen..." the man would say, resigning himself to his fate.
Tsuki's eyes widened and she ran up to Cole, gripping onto the bottom of his shirt. "What are you talking about--I'm not leaving here without you!" "Tsuki...there is nothing we can do--and we're running out of time. That rat with wings was vague but whatever happens in about 4 minutes now isn't going to be good..." "What about Scarlet? Huh?! How is she going to get home without you to guide her?!" "She's made it this far...I want to protect my sister...but I can't ignore the fact she can take care of herself...she's strong...heh..." Cole would lift his head to look over to Ravenna. "...You don't look like her any, but your fiery attitude sure reminds me of her." Cole would comment on quietly, eyes shutting afterwords as he leaned his head back, going quiet as he stood there. Tsuki was now crying, starting to shake the man. "I'm not leaving without you Cole!"
Cole had made up his mind...and was while disappointed, content in the face of his fate. Tsuki continued to tug at his shirt but nothing would make the man respond...until something started happening. Tsuki's eyes looked to Cole's pocket--it was glowing! Cole opened his eyes and looked down, seeing the glow. He dug into his pocket and fished out his D3, holding it up. It was glowing brightly, like it had the day it materialized. "..W-what...?"
The D3 activated, sparking to life, the glow died--or rather shifted. Now Tsuki begun to glow with light, Cole watching as she begun to float up into the air--the light forming a ball around her form and growing as it floated slightly back as to not crush Cole against the wall. Finally the ball of light shattered, the pure black and stark white striped fur contrasting, and bright blue hues of Tsuki now larger and more mature. She had Digivolved to BlackGarurumon! Cole stood in awe as he watched Tsuki--who's paws seemed to literally stand on pads of pure light energy, keeping the large Wolf-like Digimon afloat in the air. "...Ts-....Tsuki?" Cole said in shock, gaining a smile and nod from the BlackGarurumon. "It was your act of selflessness Cole...it helped me Digivolve." Tsuki explained, her voice now more womanly then it was before--having been more like a young girl's as BlackGabumon."

"DemiDevimon's grin would turn to a more distasted look as he heard the bird woman basically mock him by rhyming back at the 'mon. But Nero's praise would bring back his mood, the Digimon nodding along with Nero's words. "Our new toys are a lively bunch, to bad our pets may have them for lunch." he chimed as he remained on Nero's shoulder.
Finally the images of he necklace faded, but still one mirror in front of them reflected it, and about this time is when Nero's voice would come with a warning. Cole narrowed his eyes in anger as the voice taunted and threatened them. He would walk up to the last mirror still reflecting the necklace...he'd reach out to touch the surface of the mirror--just for it to fade away. Cole's eyes flashed over with anger and his hand balled to a fist, punching the mirror and shattering it.
He dropped his hand back to his side--still in a fist and now bleeding from the sharp shards of mirror it just went through. Of course behind the mirror was just a wall...guess there was no going straight through them. Cole huffed an angered sigh and looked down, Tsuki simply watching with sad blue hues as Cole once again did something that got himself hurt...why was he so self destructive?! And this time Cas wasn't around to properly tend to his injury. At least Cole had a couple bandages on him.
"...Lets go..." the man said to the two girls, his voice that of a defeated man. But he wasn't defeated, not yet. Cole would move on, entering the maze. Tsuki looked to Ravenna with sorrow in her eyes. It was obvious she couldn't stand to see Cole like this. Cole would try to make his way through it, Tsuki had followed and hopefully so would Ravenna. It was incredibly difficult to navigate, hard to see what was a path or just a reflection, plus every movement they made was reflected back by anywhere from 2 to 6 mirrors at a time.
Cole turned a corner and instantly backed up, throwing his arm up to signal for Tsuki and Ravenna should she be there to stop. He'd whisper--"There is something this way...lets just go back around that last corner and try that way."
He'd get them to back up and go around another corner they passed a moment earlier. The path twisted and turned, but before they knew it...they found an opening! Popping out of it, Cole and Tsuki both looked around to check for any dangers, but they seemed to be clear. Now the room seemed to go on, open, wide, well lit but with a somewhat low ceiling, roughly 12 feet...low when considering Ravenna could fly and Tsuki could become a large wolf with the ability to essentially fly and leap higher then that. At the end of the long corridor was a single door. "Look, an exit. Maybe we did it?" Cole said, pointing out the door roughly a football field away. Best way to describe this as, a football field.
DemiDevimon huffed and puffed a bit, angry he didn't get to see a fight. "Nero Nero I don't like this, they shouldn't have made it this far--somethings amiss. I think they should meet our newest pet, it'd be fun to watch I'd bet. What do you say, shall we send him their way?" he suggested, looking to Nero.
Tsuki would come to stand next to Cole, ears sunk. "...They haven't said anything...I don't like the quiet." she commented...it was true, their...'hosts' for tonight was a chatty bunch, and there had been pure silence since they found the end to the maze..."

"The young man handed Luke the shirt as the small group walked away from the pond, hearing the Elecmon mention he'd get him a new one. It'd prompt Cole to simply shake his head, he wasn't too worried about it. "Don't worry about it Luke, not the first shirt I've lost here. I got more at home--just toss it..." he said, turning and giving a shrug instead of taking the now muddy shirt back. Tsuki watched the exchange between the two guys, giggling a bit--unable to help herself. "Sometimes I think he's nicer to Digimon then he is to humans." the BlackGabumon commented towards the two, prompting Cole to look over with a confused look. "Huh?"...He didn't see it but Tsuki could, maybe it was just the man was so jaded with human life that he found himself being more friendly with these new creatures in his life.
Tsuki was seemingly about to respond when her ears burned, dropping in instant concern with the sound of something bubbling up behind them. She'd turn likely sync'd with Luke, eyes likewise filling with pure horror as they took in the seaweed like hair and thick shell of the Champion tier Digimon whom sprung from the pond behind them. "A-...ah..." she'd try to get something out but was at a loss for words--luckily Luke found the word she looked for. Run. Cole had not been paying attention nor was his human ears sharp enough to pick up the sounds behind them, the man would only take notice as he heard both Tsuki and Luke say something, the man blinking as the word 'Run' burned in his ears. 'Run?' he thought, turning around just in time to have Luke and Tsuki bolt past him on either side--as he turned he questioned what was going on--but it became quickly apparent what was going on. "A Mori Shwhat-a-mon--SH--...WHAT IS THAT THING?!" he burst out as fear filled his features.Maybe if he listened better he'd know. That inner 'gogglehead' was really starting to come out of Cole...
He'd almost stand frozen as he watched the large monstrous Mori Shellmon speak, angered words echoing through the bayou. Finally the 'fight or flight' feeling hit him, finding his feet the man turned and ran--decision made--long legs accelerating him pretty quickly, but at this point he was a good 20 feet behind the two likely even faster on their feet Digimon. Tsuki paralleled Luke, the nimble BlackGabumon was rather swift on her feet for only using two of them to run...despite having a total of six appendages, seven if you counted her tail--she was equally as fast as the quadruped Elecmon in this moment.
The echo of an attack being called out would prompt Cole to look over his shoulder--finding a blast of rather nasty appearing water flying his way fast. His eyes spread wide as he kept running, gritting his teeth. He waited for just the right moment--quickly tucking and rolling and letting the attack fly right over him before he sprung right back to his feet, never stopping his forward moment during the roll. He almost wanted to look back and tease the Mori Shellmon for missing, even smirking cockily a brief moment, but it dropped as he witnessed the attack fly ahead of him, landing a direct strike to Luke's leg, causing the Elecmon to take a rough tumble across the ground, coming to a stop. Tsuki had not noticed Luke was no longer beside her until she got about 15 feet ahead, suddenly she'd stop and turn to look at them--fear welling in her expression and voice. "Luke!" she cried.
But to her relief, even giving the BlackGabumon a faint smile, no sooner then she had cried out in fear for the digimon's safety, Cole had run up and on the fly grabbed Luke right off the ground--tucking the red furred Digimon to his chest as he grit his teeth and pushed himself to run as fast as his lengthy legs and adrenaline would carry him while carrying Luke. Luckily on two parts, Cole was no small guy--6'2" and 186lbs of nearly all muscle, and Luke was a rather light Digimon, able to be picked up by a child let alone a full grown man. So this didn't slow him much, the man just making sure to keep a good grasp of Luke as he sprinted--Tsuki continuing to run once the two caught up to her. "Is your leg ok?" Cole asked Luke between breaths, first glancing down to him, then quickly his jaded jade hues shifted back over his shoulder to see if any more attacks was coming their way, or if the Mori Shellmon was giving full on chase of the group. "The hell is that things problem?" "He's a Mori Shellmon--I've never met one that wasn't a grump." Tsuki quickly responded. All they could do for now is run, it was unlikely two Rookie tier could take on the Champion, Tsuki flat out had not been able to Digivolve yet, and Luke was out of luck without Colin around. Cole grit his teeth, hoping they could get away...or didn't run right into another equal threat."

"A Mori Shwhat-a-mon--SH--...WHAT IS THAT THING?!" he burst out as fear filled his features.
