Skills/Talents:
-While for many spirit users evolution and the power that comes with it may be enough Wren however, has turned the process of spirit evolution and it's shift from human to Digimon into an artform. Becoming a consummate shapeshifter in and of herself capable of moving between her various forms in a blink of an eye shedding and changing them like a normal human might change clothes. To the point she heavily favors her digital forms over her own human one and is capable of remaining in most of her well-known spirit forms for double the time of a normal spirit user outside of combat.
-Through both natural skill and her near constant time as Harpymon Wren has developed rather expansive vocal skills allowing her to mimic voices and noises and throw her voice to confuse her enemies and opponents. She likewise has a rather enrapturing singing voice with an unusual amount of range due to this.
-While Wren prefers to think of herself as an acquisition expert when it comes down to it she's a digital thief, tomb raider, treasure hunter, and bandit queen. Thus she's rather apt at picking locks, slipping through cracks in security unnoticed, and getting in and out of places she doesn't belong without causing a fuss.
-Speaks and Read/Writes English, Japanese, Russian, and German. Gradually developing and aptitude for Digicode.

Personality: Wren prefers to put up a strong and commanding front. Appearing the consummate bandit leader and thief capable of guiding her people to new riches and treasure. Truthfully though beneath that facade Wren is a bit of a dork and still a growing and rather playful young girl. Rarely doing things by halves Wren tends to wear her heart on her sleeve and buys into the all or nothing way of going about things when she sets her heart and mind on a task. She likewise is often described by Aster to be stubborn as a rabid dobermon once she's decided she's going to do something and is far from opposed to using sly tactics and dirty tricks to meet her ends. In fact she prefers it as well as delights in witty banter and word play.
Perhaps what Wren values most though is her freedom in all it's forms. Freedom to be who she wants to be, to choose what she wants to choose, and to live how she wants to live for good or for ill. She hates oppression and tyranny in all forms and there is no worse death in her mind then to be unwillingly bound. Despite her thieving and banditry ways Wren rarely targets those she thinks can't afford to lose a few bits and though fierce in her approach tends to steal, loot, and scavenge more for others then for herself. Once her loyalty has been attained she's quite adamant and steadfast in her support. Though she won't tolerate bigotry well and expects those around her to accept her preference for her digital forms even if they may not approve of it. Wren prefers to remain as Harpymon or any of her winged forms most of the time rarely shedding them except to bathe or sleep, or should she need to make a rare trip to the human world. She tends to be very anxious in her own natural body and feels naked without the protection of her spirit. Often feeling far more kinship to digimon then humans.
Appearance: Wren is rarely if ever seen in her true human form. Vastly preferring her digital forms and the protection and modes of travel they provide over her own flesh and blood. She most often wears the form of Harpymon though she's quite partial to any form with wings only forgoing it to bathe and sleep or if forced to relinquish it due to heavy battle damage.
That aside when caught without her digital form Wren is a slim svelte young girl with a petite and lean build made for acrobatics and athletics with muscle built up from days on the wing. Her figure can best be defined as wiry and whipcord with almost everything about the young girl made for speed and quick turns. Her arms and legs are well defined from constant flying and her habit of walking on the pads of her feet not unlike a bird and to lend silence to her steps. Wren herself is fair skinned and rather pretty with a delicate face and large expressive sky blue eyes. Her long hair once pale almost white blonde is kept dyed a rich cherry blossom pink and pulled back from her eyes in a tight braid with only a few stray strands left to frame her face. She favors the apparel of the Highwayman that she is with breathable long black pants and a longsleeved shirt she keeps tucked into the base of sturdy black leather boots and gloves. Topping off the ensemble with a tough weather proof Highwayman's duster and tricorn hat to shed the rain. She typically wears the collar of her duster up to hide her face and lend her far from threatening human form some meager sense of intimidation.

Personal History: Ophelia Wren, or Wren as she prefers to be called was born to her Mother a British immigrant and her Father a half German, half Japanese Shibuya native. Wren herself lived a relatively pleasant if lonely life with most of her early childhood spent being shuffled around from base to base as her her Father served in the japanese military as an engineer and technical expert. The man himself was rather strict having been born into the military with his Father serving before him and his Father before him. However, Wren's Mother softened him in a way no one else could and though distant and often busy he was a loving and doting Father when around. All that changed however, when Wren's Mother became ill when she was eight. The woman had been diagnosed with a particularly vicious form of breast cancer and though the family took steps to save her as her condition worsened over the next few years is became clear they were fighting a losing battle. Her Mother's worsening condition forced Wren to grow up hard and fast for while her Father was attentive to her Mother between his work and caring for his sick wife he had little time to spare for childish antics and no misconduct was to be tolerated on Wren's part.
While not abusive Wren's Father became distant at best and stiflingly authoritarian at worst demanding perfection from his child at this time to both take his mind off his ailing wife and to ensure his daughter was progressing upon the path he had laid out for her. He could not afford nor be bothered to spend time on needless outbursts leaving Wren to cope with the growing pressure and the emotional distress of her Mother's decline alone. At thirteen the family moved back to Shibuya proper to ensure Wren's Mother received the proper medical care and comfort in what was predicted to be her last few months. A new girl in a new city Wren did her best at her Mother's weak urging to fit in, do well in school, and make friends. While she did well in her studies often preferring books to people or the fantastical escape of games and other media making friends came hard for Wren. Fitting in even more so when even in public school she was still expected to uphold the strict military standards her Father imposed. Between her own oddities, her Father's demands, and being the new girl among classmates who had known each other and lived in Japan proper for years Wren was at a steep disadvantage.
When Wren was pulled out of class to be informed by a sympathetic teacher that her Father had called, taking in Wren's mind the cowards way out, to have them inform her her Mother had passed away and that she was to finish her classes for the day before he would be by to collect her...Wren snapped. It was a quiet sort of break like the shattering of glass or the snap of steel, unnoticed, but just as deadly as the girl realized the man hadn't even thought enough of her to pull her from school early so she could have a chance to say good bye. He hadn't even considered, wrapped up in his own feelings, how she felt. How she had suffered under the stress and pressure. That day during lunch Ophelia Wren quietly excused herself to the bathroom and never returned. Scrambling out a stall window she made good her escape taking the first train home knowing her Father would be at the hospital still, if the man even deserved to be called a Father, and gathering up what she needed she made a break for it. Her first stop the store to buy a change of clothes, clothes she actually wanted to buy and wear, and a bottle of hair dye and gloves. Watching her hair gradually turn pink in the cracked mirror over a subway train station bathroom sink was the happiest Wren had felt in years. The first thing she'd really felt in years other then numb. The second thing she felt was fear for while her new coloring and clothes made her harder to recognize as Ophelia Wren her new brighter hair made it much easier for the truant officers that sometimes lurked around Shibuya train station to spot her. Terrified of being caught and realizing she couldn't go back, wouldn't go back, Wren ran for it managing to put some distance between herself and her pursuers when she reached a dead end. Finding herself trapped with only a seemingly shutdown platform ahead of her blocked off from the rest of the world by a strange scanner device Wren panicked. Throwing herself at the door she tried to open it scrambling her fingers over the device as she attempted to guess the code, but failed time and time again. Until she could hear the footsteps coming from behind her and she was left head bowed tears streaming down her face as she pressed her forehead against the door sobbing and whispered a single word "Please~"
And the door gave way. Leaving the young girl stumbling forward as it sealed behind her.
SPIRIT USER'S INITIAL EVOLUTION LINE
Spirit Element: Freedom
Sprite Spirit
Species: Harpymon
Appearance:
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Wind Guardians
Type: Mythical Beast
Fighting Style: Wren is closest to the Harpymon then any other of her Spirits. The two so well meshed as to almost be one being with the digital spirit unable to communicate well given it's long departure from the living, but nudging the girl this way and that with it's instincts and communicating more through feeling then actual words. Because of this there is a good deal of bleed between the two when Wren is both in and out of digital form. As Harpymon Wren prefers to ambush her enemies from the sky surprising them by snatching them off the ground and high into the air as an intimidation tactic as she demands their bits or their life. With the threat of a long drop and a sudden stop as an apt threat if they fail to comply. Despite threats Wren rarely ever actually drops anyone far enough to kill and prefers to duck, dodge, and weave as Harpymon using hit and run tactics to wear down her opponents or allow her to escape.
