All aboard the train (Alice)

Kazuya kept repeating the events that lead to the train ride over and over in his head as he tried to uncover the mystery, he mumbled quite a bit to himself but that got him nowhere. The closest he came to uncovering the mystery was when he remembered the train speaking and addressing itself as the train, but then again that could be a not-funny joke from some employee. This kept on going, to the point of him completely missing the fact that a human walked up to him. It was a woman, that was slightly taller than him, but that was not drew his attention, her green hair and deep blue eyes is what caught his attention "Me ? Well truth be told, I am kinda lost. "

His attention then shifted to the girl(?) in red, as she began to talk. Her remarks about the egg did not fly over his head, "Fresh ? Why because of this egg ? " He held up the blue eggs with white polka dots, for further inspections. "I did not know it is special, I just found on the floor" He explained, while it was not plainly obvious Kazuya began to get nervous. The lack of information makes him grow weary by the second, "Spooky train ? No I do not think so, I do remember someone calling himself Trai-something and I found this egg." Kazuya looked at Dorothy as he began to suspect whether she is human or not.

but before he could let his idea grow, his attention turned back to Alice who introduced herself "Ah, Alice what a beautiful name. My name is Kazuya Oda, its a pleasure to meet you Alice and Dorothy" Kazuya gave the two of them a gentle smile. "Yes I do have alot of questions if you can Answer them, and I understand that I need to stay calm" Kazuya stated with an air of confidence in his voice, he knew that if he paniced he would not be able all of this information. he examined the device that Alice presented to him, try as he may he could not identify it "I am afraid not, I only have wallet and phone in my pock-" he stopped abruptly as he touched his pocket and he felt a strange device next to his phone "hey looks like I have it after all" He said as he took out the device from his pocket "ok I think I have alot of questions, first of where am I and what are-" he looked over his shoulders first "what are those creatures around us" he whispered to Alice.

Kazuya listened intently to Alice's bizarre explaination, digimon, digital world and the internet. if he had not seen the digimon with his own eyes, he would have called her crazy, but alas what she saying is probably the truth. "Ah, I see. Well I am not going to lie, this is a lot for me to process. Even if I can see it with my own eyes. And wait a digimon egg ? like an egg containing a digimon ? " Kazuya said with a confused look on his face, as he gave quick look to the egg once more, before his ears perk up as he is informed that Dorothy is not human but infact a digimon. Well it defiently explains the weird features, like the cat ears and sharp teeth, he thought she was a cosplayer. "woah really ? I really could'nt tell, you looked vaguely like someone I used to know."

Kazuya then looked confused when Dorothy told him that whatever in the egg was going to be his partner, it took a minute for that to sink in but it was not too hard for him to figure out why. "Wait is it because of this weird device that me and miss Alice have ?" he said as he showed his blue and green digivce that he had. It was not hard for him to figure it out, as it was the only thing that the two of them have in common atleast the only thing he knows about.

Terminus Station ? so it was the train after all, his suspicion is laid to rest for the most part. Alice then explained that it was probably the most busy place in the digital world, which was evident by the sheer number of digimon abound of all shapes and forms. "I wonder as well ? its going to be my partner eh ? we will just have to wait and see." He said as he put the device back in his pocket, holding the egg with his left hand and running his right hand through his hair. "I would love for the three of us to find some place more comfortable, maybe a place where we can sit and discuss things further." he suggessted as he desperatley needed a seat to process all this information.

Kazuya opted to smile at dorothy who seemed to have take his comment as a compliment. He then nodded as Dorothy more comfirmed his original hypothesis, which was backed by previous statements from Alice. " I see so this thing is like a sort of ticket to this place ? or maybe something else, I am rambling too much." he quickly stopped himsel from going on and on.

He then nodded as he began to follow Alice around, " well if someone is reasonable, then there is nothing more you can ask from them is there." he asked as he chuckled softly to himself. but the thing that tickled his brain was how she mentioned the digimon in terminus, which is probably referes to this place, just how big is this place ? Well those are question for much later. For now he was contempt with listening to Dorothy teasing Alice, it seems like Alice likes to teach others huh ? what an odd nugget of information or so Kazuya thought anyways.

Alice then finds a bench and sits on it inviting Kazuya to do the same, but befores he sits he gives Alice a sly smile and says "well I am glad that my teacher is someone like you" He said with an ulterior motive, as he showed a little bit of pearl white teeth in his smile, before quickly joining Alice on the bench.

"well if its time to ask questions, I need to know three important things first. Then I could go over the more complex stuff later. First what is this place and where does it exist in relation to Tokyo Japan, Second what does it mean to have a digivice and third what are digimon, why is Dorothy and that blue dog different yet they are both digimon ? " Kazuya askes cohesively and formally, Raising his index, middle and Ring fingers alongside each question.

Oof no reaction huh ? Well Kazuya was just glad that his flirtacious comment did not have a worse reply, still a miss wasn't something to be happy about, but alas this is not the time to flirt. " Only one entrance in Tokyo huh ? That is strange, although I did believe that the first monster to reach the human world would do so through Japan, thanks to Godzila movies. " He said with a slight chuckle, until his eyes met Dorothy's "But H-hey it turns out digimon are not all bad like other monster though, sorry if I offended you." He quickly backtracks his own statement as he felt it had a mean spirit to it.

" parallel world ? Made out of Data ? Agh, its difficult to wrap my head around it. but I guess I get it now, well sort of. so since Digimon are made out of Data they can have different shapes and sizes and yet they will still be digimon. unlike us humans who have a standard form that can have different details. Interesting, to be a part of crazy new world what a wonderful oppurtunity!" Kazuya exclaimed with a big grin as he takes out his device to look at it one more time. "O-Oh sorry, I got caught up. continue your explanation please and thank you." Kazuya then put the device in his pocket.

some digimon approach them, but Alice shoos them away and continues to explain, Kazuya continued to be amazed on how normal this is to her. "Ah, I see then like I thought its like an access card that companys use. but wait three models, the ones we have whats the other one you saw then ? " Kazuya asked as he strokes his chin.

"well our world is filled with mysteries too, it does not stop people from trying to find it out. " Kazuya chuckled as he put the egg next to him on the bench. He then nods at Dorothy's statement, he then does wonder what digimon history is like. But thats a question for much later.

"Oh really, thats a valuable piece of information, thank you for telling me. If I can manage my time table correctly I can visit this world and not miss work. but why is the time like that anyways ? "

As kazuya is busy asking questions the egg begins to shake in a semi noticable fashion.

"So two you say huh ? interesting. but wait did you say the shibuya river, as in that garbage dump ? what an unfortunate placement, an unstable portal that can send you to the dark area. Wait what is the dark Area again, it does not sound like a welcoming place." Kazuya said with a dignified chuckle, as he could'nt help but smile at the ridicilous name and the ridicilousness of this crazy world in general.

He smiles and nods at dorothy, he was glad that she was okay with what he said, Kazuya usually watches his words but he was understandably caught off guard by the life changing chain of events that is happening right now. "Enjoying is the right world, as a kid I grew with fiction books mostly fantasy but I enjoyed the usual science ficiton. but to think the real world is stranger than fiction, and I get to be a part of it is such a scary but exciting prospect. " He said as he strokes his chin, thinking about how his life would change for ever. But before he could finish his thought, Dorothy said something interesting. "What is adventure ? well to me it is the discovery of the unkown, and in itself is a thril that is tantalizing gift to the majority of people myself included. conquering the unknown is a reward worth the risk, that is why we enjoy Adventure." Kazuya said as he looked like he was deep in thought, as most things he said applied to himself. "Oh, but is just my belief. I could be wrong, so do not just take my word though." He said as he snapped out of his thought and chuckled rubbing the back of his hair.

He then listens intently to what Alice has to say, what he could understand from her explanation that it was very similar to classes from an MMORPG. albeit it impacts is a hundered time more significant to him. " So it is similar to an game class system, there are a tamer class a spirit class and a fusion (?) class. but judging by the fact that this device came to me automatically, I would say that the class distribution is random. Hmm interesting, I wonder what are the benefits for each class ? well no need to dwell on the tiny details of it now." his attention is switched to the egg that is about to hatch, he hears Dorothy's interesting remark but does not say anything and leaves it alone for now.

after moments of anticipation the egg cracks and from a bright light pops a yukimibotamon.



"beep boop, beep boop. myep, myep. 0110100001100101011011000110110001101111" the little slime actually said the one's and zero's.

Shocked Kazuya looks at alice and says "whats going on, they did it speak in binary ?"

While the name seemed quite silly to Kazuya he recognized the fact that the dark area is not to be mess with, as it seems that it has some unpleasant folk. "Ok got it, I should avoid the dark Area, ofcourse if I am staying here that is. " He said with a dismissive tone, he wanted to go back home soon, but not until he gets some sort of grasp on things.


"Yeah ofcourse, this is alot to handle for a first timer. But the thing is as a kid I used to day dream alot, I guess I am shocked that reality was stranger than fiction. I always that line sounded ridicolus up until now" He said with gleeful smile, the matter seemed both confusing and amusing.

"What do you mean, do not last long, what happens does it grow up to be like Dorothy over here or what ? " Kazuya was a little stressed, his "partner" was speaking binary and apparently confused the two more experinced duo, powerless he did not know what to do except ask "Who are you ?"

The creature looked at dorothy and let out sigh, "Oh crap basket, you met other digimon. I wanted to prank you, make you think we all speak binary, but that did not last long. You must be confused right now, do not be allow me to introduce myself my name is YukimiBotamom and I am your partner. What does that mean ? Well imagine two police-me- " The tiny rattled on, before being stopped by Kazuya.

"Yeah I know, what I wanna know, why the pranking yukimibotamon ?" The slight pissed off young man said with a stern voice.

"Well for fun I guess. Geez no need to get angry, here let me show something fun as an apology. " The yukimibotamon glew with white aura as the digivice followed. and from the light came a Wanyamon.



"ta da! This is called digivoultion. do you like it ?"

Kazuya stood in silence and turned to Alice confused," what just happened ? did he change, is that why you said the early stages did not last long ?"

"ohohohoh, we got someone who knows her stuff, care to you introduce yourselves guys, its only far after I did. "
