Sho said it was possibly the first time he had transformed in front of someone. Hard to say if he should of felt flattered or not. Then again, the kid did say that he THOUGHT it was the first time it had happened, which meant that maybe someone else has actually seen him transform before, but if Sho couldn't remember then maybe one of the others took over and... The Impmon gave a shake of his head, reprimanding himself internally. No, shouldn't even think of going there, I doubt the kid would forget something like that happening, even if he wasn't in control. Caligo then gave a small nod in understanding as Sho said it felt weird changing back. "Yeah, well, er, it probably would feel weird changing from a guy, to a girl, then back to a guy." Honestly, he had no idea, but might as well provide some...comfort?
He gave a frown as Sho talked about how the spirit takes the shape of his personal qualities. "Well, to be honest kid, I don't exactly think that is how a spirit evolution works. Like, a major part of it is your personality, but it doesn't exactly shape what you turn into." As they kept walking he continued to remain silent and listen, giving a few sounds of confirmation to make it clear he was listening, simply for the sake of the kid since he seemed like he needed to talk and get stuff of his chest. As he came to the subject of what exactly the Digimon in his head were, Caligo scratched at his head, eyes narrowed in thought. After a few moments he began to speak. "Look, er, I don't know a whole lot about these spirit digimon, hell, I'm amazed I even know anything about them. But what little I can say is that they are the spirits of digimon from time past. How they got like that I don't know, but they are alive...kinda? Basically once you get em they're cooped up with you. Sooooo, maybe there is some sorta connection? I mean, there has to be since you can use their power, but maybe that connection gives them access to your mind? Lets em talk to you or do things?" He let out a sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I don't think I'm good with this stuff, but hey, once we get to Terminus city maybe you can ask someone there. I'm sure there'll be someone there that can explain it." As he looked back over the horizon he could see the silhouettes of various buildings off in the distance, causing him to smile in relief. "Hey, look, doesn't look like we'll be wandering aimlessly forever."

Terminus City...
That horizon seemed so much more blurry without digital eyes to see them with. His glasses felt so cheap while they hung onto the back of his ears and gave him "normal" vision. Sho could grit his teeth and huff at that irony, giving a little more energy in his step. He put his hands in his pockets, tucking his D-Tector into those tight slacks that still hung loosely near his shoes. Sho looked between Caligo and that horizon with a nod, some acceptance. This was humanity as he knew it. And having something so normal in the place like this felt almost useless...
"So this place has a past? And whatever ancient beings that walked these fields are probably cooped up inside me?" Sho couldn't express anything else but a sigh in his slight moment of disbelief. "That makes sense. Out of all the stuff I read, this definitely seems to be a trope that no one ever gets tired of." He scratches his head and scoffs, facing Caligo again after adjusting the glasses he had for his less-than-normal eyes. It was hard to shake how much he couldn't see anymore...
"But I do know there's a connection. I know there was...there was a point where I felt it talk to me. I didn't hear it, see it, smell it, I felt it." Sho stopped moving, putting a couple fingers to his temple so that he could properly hold the thought in his mind as he rewound through it. For a moment...a little bit of the quivering in his heart came back. He could focus for just a minute and feel the whispers of his blood.
"It wasn't even saying anything that I didn't know. They were saying my thoughts, repeating word for word what I was thinking." He shook his head, gripping the stems of his glasses. Sho nodded to Caligo again, feeling like his heart had skipped several beats. "Are you sure you haven't heard anyone that would know about that?"

With Terminus city now within sight, Caligo picked up his pace slightly, the sooner they were in the City and out of the plains the better. Mulling over Sho's new question he finally gave him a response. "Well, I can't say for certain how old the Digital World is, but I'm at least willing to bet that it is pretty damn old. As for if the digimon that once walked around the digital world now being inside you, well, I suppose that is one way to look at it." The next thing the human told him he didn't exactly have an explanation for, after all, how exactly do you explain someone feeling a spirit talk to them? Not only that, but apparently these spirits weren't even voicing their own thoughts or views, just repeating Sho's own thoughts and words.
And now he was asking him again if he was sure he didn't know anyone that was familiar with this kinda stuff. Slowling down slightly, he took a deep breath before letting it out slowly, looking over at the kid. "Look, I really wish I had answers for you about this, but I don't, I've told you what I know and I got nothin else I can give. As for if I know anyone that can help you, I just don't know, hell, for all I know I could be a wanted criminal that is walking into the arms of the law." He stopped for a moment, shaking his head, then spoke again with a tone he hoped came off as sympathetic. "Look, lets just hope when we get to the city there is someone there that can help you understand this better, okay?"

Oh. Right. Here they were, beginning to enter the streets and sights of Terminus City, and they'd just been in a battlefield of epic proportions. The glimmer of the amazing remnants of energy in those craters was still in his mind. He could only ask himself what kind of power could've used an attack like that. And what drove it to use such an ability...
Sho walked through the city with Caligo, trying to stick close and make his presence small while he observed what was around him. Now that the thought of his impish partner being somewhat wanted by the law was in his mind, he couldn't be any more alert. He sighed, scratching his head, and turning to Caligo as he spoke. "If you are wanted I'm not sure we're getting any looks." He nods, walking through and trying to see if he could spot any Digivices...
"I mean, look at us! They might think I'm a Tamer and you're my partner. I'm pretty sure I could talk out of anything if someone stops us if I stuck to that excuse..." Sho chuckled nervously, looking at his own digivice and checking on its function, absentmindedly trying to see if he could trigger some response. There's something with this connection, at least to him. There had to be a way to reach whatever was talking to him.
"Try looking out for other people with my type of Digivice. I'm sure there's some pattern to all this. I mean, people group up, right? Even here? Maybe there's some kind of collective of people like me...I mean, for once. But, something like this has still gotta be rare. This power is the most mysterious thing I've seen in my life, and I read mystery books like my life depends on it..." Sho narrows his eyes, still looking out for the both of them.

Now that they were in Terminus city, he now knew that there were a few things that he did not like about it. The first was that the streets felt too crowded, at least for him. Second was that most of the Digimon and even the occasional humans that passed them by didn't seem to notice him due to his height, so there had now been a few times where people had almost walked into him because they weren't paying attention. He then glanced up at Sho as he commented on how he doesn't seem to be wanted. "That would seem to be the case, to be honest I wasn't expecting that I'd really be wanted when we came here, just that we should be ready just in case that was the case." He then gave another nod on how the pair looked like a tamer and his partner, though something about that didn't sit well with him for some reason. "Well, you aren't wrong about that."
Caligo then turned his attention to the digivice on Sho's waist, staring at it for a few moments before giving a nod and looking forward. "Well, if there are any humans that are like you, they'll be here in this city. Would probably also help if we are on the lookout for any humans or group of humans that aren't walking around with digimon, seeing how they'd don't need one." Caligo began to look around, trying to see what he could spot, though he doubted he'd be able to see much considering his height and the damn crowd around him.
