Kevin was fascinated by the creature, it was unlike anything he ever saw. The creature looked over at Kevin, it was almost as if it was checking him over for approval. To Kevin's delight it smiled at him. Then it turned to Tasha and spoke.
"Heh. See, Tasha. I knew someone would think that I'm awesome."
Kevin's jaw dropped. It talks! Kevin thought to himself excitedly.
"You tried really hard to keep it a secret, too bad I'm very observant" Kevin said cooly. "Ok I'm gonna go and tell all of japan about it"
Hopefully Tasha would see that he was kidding, but just for reassurance...
"I'm kidding, I won't tell anyone, not that anyone would believe me" Kevin smiled.
Tasha pushed the creature back in her purse.
“Look, Kevin. Maybe we can talk about this more outside? I kinda don’t want anyone else to see Pedra.” Tasha told Kevin.
"Yeah definitely, it's name is Pedra?" Eric said inquisitively.
Kevin's day just keeps getting better and better.

All this was starting to be too much for Tasha. Here she was, trying to have normal day. Then of course her digimon ruined it and now she was going to have to explain to Kevin about Pedra and where she came from. She doesn’t even know where she came from, so how is the young girl going to explain this to him? Tasha was just so annoyed, that she was nearly going to slap Kevin in the back of his head when he was joking around about him telling everyone about Pedra. She eventually calmed down a bit. At least she didn’t have to try to hide her digimon from him anymore. Things could’ve been worse.
Once Kevin agreed to leave the museum and follow her out, Tasha walked out of the museum. She needed to find a private place to talk to him about Pedra. She walked out of the crowd of people going in and out of the museum. She looked around a bit and saw a small wooded area. That would be a nice and quiet place to talk. She took the group over to the wooded area, quite a few distances away from the museum. She stopped in the middle of it and looked around. She didn’t see anyone at all. She took a deep sigh and opened the purse, letting Pedra hopped out of it.
The Tanemon sighed happily with relief. After spending hours inside that stuffy purse, she could feel the leaves on her head withering a bit. Once the sunlight hit her leaves, they started to straighten up. The plant digimon enjoyed the bright sun more than anything else. She was running and hopping around Tasha and Kevin, having a lot of energy. “Alright! I’m finally outta that purse! I’m finally outta that purse!” she yelled out a bit.
Tasha bends over and grabbed Pedra, picking her up. “Calm down already. Nobody don’t wanna hear none of that.” She scowled at her a bit.
Pedra giggled a bit and smiled at Tasha and Kevin. The young girl looked over at Kevin. Now she was going have to explain what Pedra is and where she came from. She barely knows anything about her digimon, but she should try to tell him something.
“Well…This is Pedra. I just got her a few days ago. She’s a digimon.”
“A Tanemon to be exact.” Pedra interjected.
“…Yeah, whatever. She hatched from egg that came out of my computer…Yeah, I know all of this is sounds ridiculous.”

Kevin followed Tasha out of the museum. He was bursting with excitement. He tried to not show it, but he wasn't fooling anyone. Tasha led Kevin to a wooded area.
When she made sure the coast was clear, she released Pedra from her purse. Pedra was overjoyed and cheering loudly. Tasha calmed her down. Now if only Kevin would calm down, but he was too excited.
“Well… This is Pedra. I just got her a few days ago. She’s a digimon.” Tasha explained.
"A digimon?" Kevin asked. "What's a digimon?"
Tasha proceeded to explain about Pedra hatching from an egg and coming out of her computer.
"Ridiculous? Maybe. Awesome? You Bet!" Kevin cheered.
"So why did you get Pedra anyway? What makes you so special?" Kevin was now a little jealous.
"How do you get one?" Kevin asked. "Can you buy them?"
Kevin wondered if he could get a digimon, why didn't he have one?
He knew he would do everything he could to take care of it. He would put the digimon before himself, he would make sure of it!
Suddenly something really weird and unexpected happened. His right pocket, the same pocket that the watch was in, started emitting a light. Kevin reached into his pocket to pull out the watch, but it was gone! He felt something unfamiliar where the watch should have been. He pulled it out of his pocket. It was what looked like a purple and gold Cell phone, only there were no numbers, and it only had three buttons, two on the side of the screen and one big one under the screen.
What is this?....

As she was trying to tell him how she got Pedra, Tasha barely noticed that Kevin seems excited about all of this. Not only does he seem so openly accepting to her having a digimon, but now he wanted to have one too. He was asking her all sorts of questions, and had no idea how to answer them. Pedra, on the other hand, was glad that the boy was taking an interest to her. Just seeing how happy and excited he is made her happy too. It would be nice if he had a digimon too. Maybe she could have someone to talk and play with. Not that messing with Tasha wasn’t fun, mind you.
Tasha sighed a bit and tried to calm down Kevin with all of his questions. “Look, I don’t know, okay. I never asked to have a digimon. She just showed up one day out of the blue. ”
Pedra rose up on Tasha’s arm and playfully nuzzled her. “Heh. Yeah. It’s like faith. You know you love me.”
Tasha hastily pushed the Tanemon off of her. “I know that you’re annoying. Why can’t you be with someone else?”
Pedra giggled. “Hehe. Sorry, Tasha, but we’re partners for life.”
Tasha let out a heavy sigh again. “That’s what I was afraid of…”
Suddenly, both of them looked back over at Kevin and something really strange started to happen. There was a light coming out of his right pocket. Then he pulled out something that looked really familiar. Tasha took a closer look at it and gasped
“Oh my gosh!” she yelled out and she reached into her pocket. After rummaging around a bit, she pulled out the same device with red grip. “You have this thing too? I found this along with the egg that Pedra was in…” Could this mean that Kevin was going to get a digimon too? If that’s true, then where was his egg?

Kevin still couldn't believe it. Just a few seconds ago, the pocket watch that Kevin had been so interested in turned into ... something else.
To Kevin's surprise, Tasha had one too. She explained that she had gotten along with the egg Pedra was in.
If that's true, does that mean Kevin has a digimon?
"You said Pedra was in an egg that came out of your computer, right?" "Is it possible that one came out of mine?"
Kevin started running toward his house. "Come on Tasha! Let's see if I got a digimon at home!" Kevin called to Tasha.

Things are getting even stranger to Tasha. First, she just met this boy who wanted her to research some old pocket watch. Then, Pedra gave herself away to him and Tasha had to explain herself. And finally, he gets a digivice of his own and can possibly have a digimon too. This left her with a few questions. Are there really other digimon besides Pedra? Are they going to look like her? She really didn’t want to think about there being more than one annoying Tanemon out in the world. She almost wanted to tell Kevin to forget about getting his digimon. Then she saw how excited he is about it and let it go.
Pedra was just as excited about this too. Tasha had been the only person that she had ever known. Though it was really fun to mess with her and annoy her, she kind of would like to meet other digimon and play with them too. If Kevin really does get another Tanemon, they could do all sorts of fun stuff, like running around and playing with flowers. Pedra giggled at that thought. She really wanted to meet Kevin’s digimon and become friends with it.
While they were both thinking, they didn’t see that Kevin was already running ahead, telling them to meet him at his house to see if his digimon was there. Tasha couldn’t help but sigh and shook her head a bit. It looks like she wasn’t going to be able to finishing her homework anytime soon, but she suppose that she can do it tomorrow. Pedra giggled happily. “Come on, Tasha! Let’s go see Kevin’s new digimon! Let’s go! Let’s go!”
Tasha sighed again and pushed Pedra back into her purse without a word. Even though she didn’t want to admit it, Tasha was slightly curious. As long as Pedra can keep her mouth along the way, she wouldn’t be revealing herself to other people. She ran off behind Kevin and followed him to his house.

Kevin kept running. He was so excited, he couldn't believe it. This is the most exciting day ever!
Is my digimon going to look like pedra? What happens when no one is there to recieve him?! Kevin quickened his pace.
He looked back to see if Tasha was keeping up, she seemed to be doing fairly well.
Finally, Kevin and Tasha arrived at Kevin's house.
"Welcome to my home" Kevin said. "Just to warn you I wasn't expecting company, so the place may be a little messy"
Kevin opened the door.
"Hello? Is anybody home?" Kevin called out. No answer. Good. The last thing I want is my parents, or worse my sisters seeing an egg come out of my computer. To Kevin's relief the house was spotless. Remind me to thank mom.
Kevin looked for a note in the kitchen, that's where the family leaves notes. He found it. The note explained how his parents and sisters went to a theme park.
"Good, my family isn't home" Kevin sighed with relief. "Not that I didn't want them to meet you, but I'm not sure I'm quite ready for them to meet a digimon"
"Speaking of which, the coast is clear for pedra if you want to let her out" Kevin suggested.
"Is she hungry?" Kevin asked. "Or you?"
Kevin grabbed some snacks.
"Pick what you like" Kevin said.
After Tasha and Pedra chose, Kevin told them to follow him to his room.
Before opening the door to his room, Kevin took a deep breath. He opened it. Kevin looked over to his computer, but he didn't see anything. He looked all over his room, but nothing.
Kevin was extremely disappointed. Just before he was about to give up, he had a thought. He took out the cell phone thing-a-mi-jig and pointed it at his computer screen.
Suddenly his screen fizzled, then an egg appeared on the screen. It started becoming three dimensional, it was coming out so fast, Kevin had to dive to catch it.
Kevin was holding what looked like an Easter egg. It was cerulean with a red pattern. So this is my digimon?

Tasha kept closely following Kevin until he got to his house. In a way, she was glad to see how happy Kevin is. She only just met him, but it was nice to have a friend here in a new country. Even the fact that he was going to get a digimon as well wasn’t actually too bad for her. At least she won’t feel that she is the only one that has one. This made her wonder if there more people with digimon around here. Japan was a very strange place indeed.
When they got to Kevin’s place, he opened the door and she stepped inside. Tasha didn’t really see anything out of the ordinary. He was calling to see if anyone is here, but it looks like the place was empty. It was probably for the best. It might be kind of awkward for him to bring a girl home that he just became friends with. Oh, and the discovering the digiegg part too. Once Pedra found out that no one was home, she hopped out of her tamer’s purse and on the floor. She took the time to look around.
“Wow. Is this your place? It looks so nice.” Pedra giggled a bit.
Kevin asked them if they were hungry and offered them some snacks. Tasha wasn’t really that hungry, but Pedra hopped over to the snacks and looked over at them. Her stomach growled a bit. She knew that granola bar she had didn’t fill her up, so she started munching on the snacks. Tasha saw this and bonked the Tanemon on the head. “Girl, stop pigging out!” she yelled over at her.
Pedra rubbed her injured head, growling at her a bit. “Ow! What was that for!? I was hungry...”
Tasha picked her up. “I just feed you already. Now let’s go.”
Pedra shook her head. “Hmph, you can be a pain, you know that.”
“Takes one to know one, you little nasty.” Tasha argued back as she followed Kevin again.
They all went into his room. Tasha and Pedra didn’t see anything that looked like an egg near his computer. He searched all over his room, but he didn’t find anything. Tasha didn’t like seeing how disappointed he was. She really thought that his egg might show up here. Pedra was really disappointed too. She really wanted to have a digimon friend to play with. Soon, they saw Kevin hold up his digivice to his computer screen. An egg suddenly came out of the computer and Kevin caught it. Pedra had a wide grin and hopped around Kevin happily.
“Yay! Kevin got his digimon! Kevin got his digimon!” she cheered.
Tasha looked over at him. She still couldn’t believe it. There was another digimon in that egg. After a bit, she shook off her confusion and went over to him. “Umm…you should try rubbing it…I think it helps make it hatch faster.”

Kevin could not believe it. His very own digimon!
He took Tasha's advice and started vigorously rubbing on the egg.
Kevin looked over at Tasha who had an expression like what the heck are you doing!
Kevin slowed down, he didn't realize how fast he was rubbing. He hoped he hadn't hurt the poor thing.
Suddenly there was a cracking sound. The egg was hatching!
Kevin was expecting another tanemon to come out, but his looked different. His digimon was a blue dragon looking thing. It was small and ovalish. It had black and red horns on it's head, and tiny red feet.
Kevin was in awe. He had a blue dragon as a digimon! That's even cooler than a tanemon.
The dragon digimon looked at around the room, then at Tasha, then Pedra, and finally at Kevin. It gave kevin a look like a new born baby would give it's mother.
Kevin wondered if it spoke. It sneezed and a small flame came out of it's nose.
Kevin was so surprised that he accidentally the baby dragon up in the air, but fortunately caught him before he fell on the ground.
I wonder what it's called?

Tasha and Pedra watched intensely as Kevin rubbing his egg. They were both wondering in their heads what kind of digimon would come out of it. Tasha has very little knowledge of digimon (she’s still surprised she even has knowledge of this kind of stuff), but wonders if there really are different kinds of digimon. What would they even look like? Noticing now, his egg looks a lot different from the egg that Pedra come out of. Maybe it’s a Tanemon that’s a different color? She thought she was thinking too much about this and kept watching. Pedra was actually thinking the same thing, but was hoping that it would be another Tanemon. They could go to the park and play with the flowers.
Finally, all the rubbing that Kevin was giving his egg seemed to have paid off, because it started to hatch. The both of them gazed at the egg closer as the pieces of it came apart. It was such a surprised that the digimon coming out wasn’t a Tanemon, but a strange, round dragon thing. There was quite a moment of silence as all three of them stared at the dragon creature. Soon, it sneezed fire a bit, scaring Tasha and making her jump slighly. It was a dragon and they typically would breathe fire, but still it was a bit surprising when it sneezed like that. Kevin luckily caught it when it was in the air. Tasha picked up Pedra and slowly went over to Kevin to take a closer look at his digimon. It looked like it was only a baby. Pedra sort of started that way until it suddenly changed into a Tanemon. She didn’t know how that worked, but maybe the same thing will happened to this little thing. Pedra leaned over a bit closer to the baby digimon, smiling.
“Oooh. You look so cute. My name’s Pedra. What’s your name, little guy?” the Tanemon asked him sweetly.
“…You can tell that thing is a boy?” Tasha asked curiously.
“Of course it’s a boy. Isn’t it obvious!?” Pedra yelled over to her.
“…Right. I guess so.” Tasha quickly turned her attention to Kevin. “Well, it looks like you got your digimon, Kev. Must be pretty nice, huh?” she couldn’t help but smile at him a bit. She knew a bit about how he felt when she got her digimon. She was a bit scared at first, but she managed to get used to it and start to really care about it. Of course, she didn’t want to show that to Pedra most of the time. Pedra was happy for Kevin too. Even though his digimon wasn’t a Tanemon like her, she still like him and hopes that they can be good friends.

Suddenly, Tasha's phone started to ring. She sighed a bit and got it out of her purse. She answered it, hearing that it was her dad. He wanted her to come back home and help him a few things at home. She whined over to him that she didn't wanted to do just yet, but he wasn't budging. If she knew her dad, the stern tone he was giving her meant that he means business. While Pedra was talking sweetly and cooing the baby digimon, Tasha picked up Pedra and looked over at Kevin. "Sorry, Kev, but my dad really wants me home. But how about I'll give you my number so we can talk later. I might be in the park tomorrow. I'll see you again. Good luck with your digimon." Tasha gave Kevin a piece of paper with her phone number on it. "Aww. Do we really have to go, Tasha? I think he likes me" Pedra said giggling. "Come on already." Tasha said sternly, pushing Pedra down in her purse. She gave Kevin a quick hug. "I'll see you later, Kev. It was nice meeting you." she smiled over at him and waved goodbye as she left his place. -Exit- (sorry for leaving, but I wasn't sure when you'll get back.
