Tawna had managed to finally catch up to where the commotion was centralized... To her relief, the doctor had managed to catch Haru... Though it hurt having to see and hear them like this. This wasn't how she wanted to meet her dear friend again...
"No! No! Your lying! Your lying!" the cat was shrieking with a wailing sob, stress getting the better of her. Truth be told, she didn't know who or what she could trust right now... Trust the people that clearly cared for her, or herself in who she was? She was in agony right now, her own existence feeling like it was a lie. Haru wouldn't have been doing this to her friends... so why was she?
Tawna couldn't bare to see this any longer... What had drove Haru to this level of despair? She... She had never seen them act like this before, their emotions so wild and furious. With a glance towards Titania and Mae, than back to Beastmon, Tawna approached the squirming Meicoomon. "Haru... Haru, please calm down. Its okay... Its okay. Its us. Your friends, remember?" the emerald-eyed cat gently spoke... trying to plead to this frightened Digimon that she had no doubt in her mind was her long-lost friend.,
The Meicoomon seemed to finally die down with their struggling against the Beastmon. Of course, this wasn't a sign that they weren't still an emotional wreck, but it was clear that she was listening now. "I..." they softly murmurred... though her mind was still practically screeching at her. These were good people... but she didn't deserve them. They thought she was someone else, and the only way to not hurt them further was push them back. "No... I'm not her. I'm NOT her!"
Things just went from bad to worse in a very short time. Beastmon would have had no problem restraining Haru in her current state... but another burst of power surged through them as this time they were enveloped in a dark light... the Meicoomon snarling as she began to claw at her own face before gripping it. It took only a second for them to eviscerate themselves in half... a much taller and leaner creature breaking out of the demon beast's arms as their former shell faded into data, landing on all fours before standing up.
Meicrackmon Vicious Mode. Despite their wild, crazed appearance... they still had those baby-blue eyes from before instead of the red schlera typically. Their eyes were full of fear... though no longer was it seemed to be directed towards everyone else. Without a word, the feminine manticore sprinted, diving towards a staircase that led upwards... to one of the tallest towers of the library.
"Shit! This can't be possible! She was only Fresh level!" Tawna yelled, her eyes widened... How were they able to so rapidly evolve? On second thought, it had to been the massive amount of data they had... or worse, could it have been the influence of their killer? Regardless, they had no time to waste. "Please! We have to hurry!" they desperately spoke, enveloping in a light as well... taking on the form of a standard Meicrackmon, giving Mae a very good comparison of what a pure Meicrackmon looked compared to the corrupted variant. Her tendrils swiftly scooped up Titania and Mae, ready to get moving with Beastmon.

As little context as they had on what had been going on within the other room, both Mae and Titania could piece together everything well enough from what they had now. Everything was happening so fast, too...With Mae getting a taste of what her own digivolution to champion probably looked to others with Haru digivolving into...Another form. She didn't recognize that.
That was fear, too. Fear on the feline's face. It was strange. Like a feeling of deja vu. "...You poor girl..." Mae found herself murmuring as the light of Digivolution surrounded Titania, the Tinkermon going right into her Kazemon form as Tawna--now a Meicrackmon scooped her and Mae up. The fairy simply had a plan that was...tried and somewhat true?
It was technically the same Meicrackmon but not the same person...
"Tawna? I know you might not be as strong in this form, but...Throw me at her."
Mae meanwhile closed her eyes and focused. Okay. Future sight. Tell me what the actual heck I can do here? Please?
There had to be -something- she could do...

As the rest of the group finally caught up, the Beastmon kept their firm grip on the Meicoomon trapped in her grip. Haru struggled, she shrieked, she cried and wailed, but the doctor's experienced hold kept her firmly in place. "Tawna's right there, alright? Just calm down... we can discuss this, slowly, and figure out what to do going forward. Everyone's here for you, alright?"
At this point, Mikemon was careful not to use the name 'Haru', partially knowing that's what had set the cat off before - but Tawna? Tawna hadn't quite caught up to this page yet, and as the green-eyed Meicoomon said that name? Haru reacted. The Beastmon was soon holding a bright ball of golden light, her arms thrust outward until she found herself holding around the Vicious MeiCrackmon! In that moment, she was easily able to push out of the cat's grip, making a bolt right for the stairs!
"Don't worry about what's possible - I'll head her off!" As Tawna and the rest would make their way to the stairs, the Beastmon instead made her way to the window - scaling the tower from the outside, far faster than what simple stairs would muster! Moving from windowsill to handhold, she'd make her way up to the way outside - the door out to the tower's main balcony.
From there? She'd brace the door from the outside, and keep her ear pressed against the doorframe. This was the top of the tower, and Haru would eventually have to come through here. With this door blocked off, Tawna would be able to catch up!

Look, there were a lot of things Tawna was now needing to comprehend in a short time... There was the need of getting Haru under control and before they go and get themselves hurt... or someone else. No... Haru would 't ever hurt someone like this. Maybe they were denying it, but she knew deep down that this Meicrackmon was her. She wasted no time splitting off from Beastmon, now with a Meicoomon and Kazemon backing her up as she chased after their target.
The runaway Meicrackmon of course was terrified out of her mind fleeing... It was fortunate that they still remembered the layout of this place, but she needed to get away. "Leave me ALONE!" the viral cat yelled pleadingly... They didn't want to be near anyone right now! Why couldn't they get the hint?
Tawna grimaced at that call, trying to fight back her own despair... Though her attention was drawn to Tinkermon as she adopted a "what the hell" expression. Like that worked well the last time?
Ugh... Fine! Tawna gave the fairy a nod as they were beginning to near the position Beastmon was at... her tendril holding Titania winding back, before giving them a much needed boost forward!
Mae might have been playing an idle role right now... but their visions were most certainly present. Among those were ones with the group managing to subdue the Meicrackmon Vicious Mode forcefully, whether now or on the roof of the library... and one with her alone talking to a terrifyingly large angelic beast with those same blue eyes on the rooftop... or the group watching as said beast fled into the distant sky.
The question was... Was the future set in stone.

Possibility. An agent of many things, change included. Mae's visions showed her an endless amount. Yet, with every passing moment, they dwindled in number. In other news, Titania was given a boost by Tawna and one in the most beneficial direction right now. Forward. The Kazemon soared at speeds comparable to her ultimate level, and attempted to, quite simply, grapple her with her arms and pin her on the ground. "We'll leave you alone once we make sure you're okay!" It was good that Mikemon had been making efforts to impede Haru's progress. Everyone was needed.
Huh, that sounded a little familiar for the fairy.
Plus, it didn't work well because Titania threw Tawna. Now it's the inverse.
"...I think she might be trying to escape to the roof. She may fly away if these evolutions continue..." Mae murmured, audible enough for Tawna to hear. "...My sight grows blurry. We need to keep moving. Plus, Titania's...maybe not helping all that much..." She seemed to be staring at nothing. Blank.

Yes, Haru might try to escape through the roof - but that was where the doctor came in. In fact, she was already on the other side of the balcony door, the most obvious place someone as large as a MeiCrackmon would go to try and escape. The Beastmon, hearing the commotion on the other side, grit her teeth. It might have been a bit of overkill, but with several ultimates on the other side?
Mikemon wasn't going to take any chances. The light of Digivolution wrapped around him once more - the smaller cat, his Ascent Mode, now bracing the center of the door with a powerful shoulder. I've got this side... take care of it, you three! Unfortunately, this little scuffle wouldn't go entirely unnoticed by the residents of the library themselves. At the start of this scuffle, just a few flights of stairs above the commotion, Calumon had found himself asleep in the living area of one of the currently unoccupied dorms - but whatever noise was going on downstairs had brought the little mega awake from his slumber.
"Baihumon, the earth's trembling again..." Half asleep for a second, the Calumon soon woke up - to see one MeiCrackmon fly past the door, the projectile-Titania thrown at the 'monster' a moment later! "Ah!" Just what was going on, another attack? The Calumon's ears extended outward, the mega quickly moving behind the group - silently - a stark, concerned, and troubled expression across his face.
Just... just what the frick was going on?

The Meicrackmon Vicious Mode had thought she was able to finally get the others to lose her trail... it would have been just another homestretch to the top of the tower than she could flee! Unfortunately for her, she didn't expect for a certain fairy to become a makeshift projectile, they slowing her down. "Get off me, Titania! I don't want to fight!"
Tawna did not believe what she was going to be needing to do, but they couldn't risk Haru fleeing! If they Digivolved to Mega, it might be impossible to get them to calm down if they submit to the form's violent tendencies. "Hold on!" the false Vaccine called out to Mae, as she ripped through the air... creating a wormhole for her and Mae to jump to and assist Titania in pinning down Haru. A combination of Titania and Tawna's efforts were finally going "We can explain! Just please, calm down! You are going to hurt yourself at this rate!"
The Meicrackmon Vicious Mode bared her teeth, growling as she tried her best to throw the two off... To not much success honestly. She wasn't used to this body at all, even though it so far has been the closest to her original one... or what she believed was her original one. It pained her, but she couldn't just submit now... She HAD to find the truth! "Then who I am then?! Am I really Haru, or just some fake?!"
Tawna's eyes widened... a pained expression forming on their face. That one hurt. Right in the heart. Those words caused a brief lapse in concentration... something that would become a mistake very quickly as she saw Haru's form enveloped in more darkness...
To say that both Titania and Tawna were knocked back like ragdolls was an understatement... The newly-evolved Raguelmon easily throwing them off as they dwarfed everyone in the hall. Unfortunately for the angel, the increased size was very cumbersome due to the halls not built for larger Digimon...
More unfortunate for the Raguelmon's pursuers... They saw how Tawna tore a hole through space itself to jump forward. "Don't follow me!" the fallen angel growled as she too tore a hole, stepping into it and closing it shut... and appearing right in the room Mikemon was at.

"I'm not trying to fight you, I'm trying to keep you still! Just stop this!" Titania did her damndest to slow Haru down. She didn't enjoy doing this to what was once Naoko's sister, but she felt like it was a necessary evil. Something to make recovering from the ordeal in the desert easier for everyone....Kinda.
Meanwhile, Mae was being enlightened to the number of things that may lie in store for her in the future as Tawna shortened the distance between the duo and Haru by...A lot. Yeah. A lot. She wasn't good at numbers. "Um...I want to say you're you. I don't really know you at all but I think no matter what you might be, you're still...well, you."
She was talking out of her ass. And she knew it. Holy crap, she was terrible at this. Titania had been thrown back like a ragdoll, yes, but she wasn't anticipating Haru to pick up on how to use Cosmic Journey already. Shit. "...Where did she go...?" Mae found herself asking as the Kazemon pulled herself to her feet.

Alright, this just went from bad to worse: just as the Mikemon settled into position to brace the door, he felt a shift in the air behind him, one that quickly drew the cat's attention: a wormhole.
One of Raguelmon's wormholes. Swearing loudly, the cat abandoned his position at the door, taking to the air to position himself right at the portal's opening! Forget trying to keep Haru inside - if she managed to fly off and get away from them, that was it. And with her ability to make portals, that was very much a reality!
"Please, calm down!" It likely wouldn't take long for the group to figure out where Haru had ended up - after all, the balcony was on the other side of that door! The doctor, meanwhile, simply tried to dash forward, grip around the beast's torso, and slow her progress. Despite his size and stature, Mikemon would prove quite capable of at least slowing her down! It wasn't just Haru that was wigged out about all of this, though. Seeing multiple Digimon try and pin the Raguelmon down, the volume in the room getting to his ears, the Calumon found himself standing nearby. He tilted his head down, ears retracting back, holding his head as he grit his teeth.
No, no... everything - EVERYTHING about this is wrong!
To many, the Calumon might just have been a 'cute Digimon' or a 'mascot'... but as everyone pressed on, as that door swung open, the little guy just couldn't hold it in.
He simply looked up, and screamed it out:
"EVERYBODY QUIET!"
Despite the situation, those two words would likely pierce through the veil of frustration, anger, and confusion everyone had about them. And when they turned back? Well, they'd see one frustrated, angry-looking Calumon! Log:
Peaceful Posture [Passive]: Calumon's voice carries a surprising amount of weight. Amidst an argument or discussion, if the frustration mounts, he can give a loud cry outward, generally drawing the attention of those around him - generally to listen to what he has to say.

Even before evolving, the fleeing feline seemed to pause at the lone Meicoomon's... partially as they were not a face they recognized (... how she was able to now was a mystery to her), but partially since their words resonated with them. Did it matter if she was Haru or not...? Internally, they pondered this for a few seconds before discarding the notion.
She already had gone too far to back down now.
The Raguelmon let out a pained growl as they gazed at the petite doctor... Not because she was actually in pain, but because she knew what she'd have to do if she was to escape. She knew Mikemon... He wouldn't let her go. None of them will. "... Don't stop me doctor! I have to find the truth... I need to know the truth! " she defiantly spoke as she bared her teeth. She really didn't want to fight... a Digimon as experienced as Mikemon would have had no trouble with her. Still... she refused to back down.
Even as Tawna guided Titania and Mae through the door to the room they were in, the Raguelmon stood her ground. She didn't actually want to hurt any of them... which is why she was hoping to just stall out long enough to use another one of those warpholes.
Had it not been for the sudden yell of a tiny, white bean that had called for order in the room... surely a fight would have escalated. Tawna practically froze at the sight of Calumon... and to her surprise, so had Haru. How did such a tiny creature command such a voice?

Mae found herself engaged in what one could call a staredown with Haru before she had evolved. It was quite tense, and for a few moments, she thought she had gotten through at least a little bit. Though that was soon proven wrong as Haru had fled. She and Titania both followed Tawna into that room and they then engaged in what was more or less a standoff.
However, neither champion was about to pull anything, no. They both turned to look at Calumon. Surprisingly, Titania was expecting him to be asleep or something. But, him being present was a good thing--The little guy was capable of a grandiose amount of things, for one that looked like a rookie.
Mae meanwhile stared at Calumon. "Oh, okay." She said in response to the loud declaration that everyone had to be quiet.

"Truth, nothing! I can't let you out on your own!"
Mikemon's objection right now was plainly stated: if Haru got away, what was keeping her from getting caught out in the elements? When her emotions finally cooled off and she inevitably fell out of this mega form, what would happen if she was caught out in the wilds? The doctor wouldn't allow that - which was why he kept his grip tight around that armor, keeping Haru rooted in place! It was a tight, forceful measure...
... Well, it was. Until the Calumon's voice pierced through, somehow drawing the attention of the entire room. Tawna, Mikemon - even Haru all seemed to freeze, and bring their attention to the Calumon. Well, aside from a somewhat nonchalant Mei, who earned a firm nod from the Calumon.
Everyone else? They'd see that the little mega had gone red in the face, tears welling up in his eyes! "Just LOOK at all of you! Mikey, Tawna, Titania, you're all screaming at Holly to calm down! She's already scared, and you're doing nothing but scare her more... and don't think I'm on your side!" His eyes focused right on Haru: "They're doing everything they can to help, to try and make you understand, but all you can do is yell back at them! Nobody's actually talking! Nobody's LISTENING to anyone! If..."
The Calumon paused - and with a somehow-powerful stamp of his small foot, he spoke to all five of them:
"IF HARU WERE HERE, SHE'D ALL GIVE YOU A FIRM TALKING TO!"
For a few seconds, the Calumon, still red in the face, just glared at every single person in the group.

Doc was might small, but anyone who knew them well understood that looks could be deceiving... They doing a good job at restraining the Raguelmon before Calumon had let out their frustration on ALL of them.
"... Holly?" the ophanim Digimon questioned out loud, visibly confused as their attempts at trying to resist Mikemon holding her down fade... they actually were too afraid to say anything until Calumon finally ran their course, it probably the most awkward scene seeing an almost eighteen foot cat man wince at a very grumpy rabbit-y thing. They shuddered at the mention of Haru, they briefly holding their clawed gauntlets out as they gazed at their own palms... as if debating if these truly were their own hands.
They were right though... Haru would have been pissed at them all if they saw them like this. Unless she WAS Haru? The Mega level shook their head, they glancing at Tawna with a defeated look. "Do... Does anyone even know...?" they asked, a hurtful look in their eyes.
Tawna could not help but avert her eyes, the Ultimate level sighing as she let Mae down gently. "Not a soul, Haru. Besides those in this room and Doctor Cassandra..." they spoke, realizing that they couldn't hide this. Not any further, especially after seeing what happened just now.
It... It was going to be a tough pill to swallow. All she could hope was that Calumon would catch on.

Well, it didn't really take that long for either of the Digimon to piece things together. Namely, Haru being Holly and all of that. Titania actually stayed quiet as she degenerated to her Rookie form. It was tough holding Kazemon without Naoko's aid, admittedly. Though, the fairy was too prideful to ever admit that.
Mae stared up at Haru as Tawna set her down. She recognized that look in her eyes. It was a look she had seen on her own face, many times. Pain. The Meicoomon looked to Calumon, before returning her gaze towards Haru. She figured that if Wakako could snap her out of this with a hug...Well...Maybe she could do the same for Haru.
With a few steps forwards towards the ophanim, Mae gave her a hug...Though it was really awkward and around one of her legs. It was still a hug in her eyes. "Please don't be sad..." The cat mumbled.

Damn it...
Damn it all, the Calumon was right - what were they even doing? With an exasperated sigh, the doctor slowly released his grip around the Raguelmon, his 'form' slipping to that of his mere Champion level. Caught in the shame of it all, the cat diverted his gaze, unable to meet the Calumon nor Haru eye to eye for the moment.
As she asked about 'Holly', though, Mikemon explained: "Its... the cover name we gave for you to keep it a secret." His explanation was flat at this point - though it didn't take long for the Calumon to make that sudden realization:
"W... wait, that's Haru?" The 'red' faded from the little mega's face, replaced with a vivid look of fear. "H-how did... why..."
"... Damn it all..." Swearing something a bit more fierce than that under his breath, the cat took a step back. He was ashamed of himself, at this point... but just what were they supposed to do? Just what could they do?
Mae had a simpler answer. She stepped forward... and just gave the Raguelmon a hug.
The doctor blinked. He grit his teeth... and forced a smile onto his face.
"We're... we're all here for you. No matter who you are, no matter what happens. Just trust us, alright?"
