Digimon Name: Hobby
Default Form: Varied
Gender: Proclaimed male
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Inventory: A lot of thread and needles, but not much more
Personality: Hobby is a carefree creature that doesn't seem to understand how the world around him works, or rather refuses to acknowledge it. Free from things that would limit conventional life such as thirst and hunger, he set out to explore as much as he could and experience much more. He general demeanor is that of an excited and rather illegible creature, but unfortunately his child like mannerisms in combination with his refusal to tone himself down lead to destruction in most places unfortunate enough to get a visit from him. He will often look down on those that get hurt and openly joke about how unfortunate they must be to not be like him. The worse of it comes when he tries to make them like him, not stopping until he's ran out of supplies. Then he'll often pass off whatever horror he has created as not good enough and 'recycle' the material. Despite not needing to eat or drink he will often do both, often without any desire to pay, wait in line or respect ownership of things. This extends to just about everything. When Hobby sees something he likes, he will try to take it from himself, regardless if it's being used for something or is part of someone else's body. Hobby is very passionate about his shop and will often try to sell his wares in a pushy and mostly unwanted manner. He doesn't understand personal space and will dismiss any criticism instantly. It's often hard to tell if he is actually brain less or if he got so used to playing the card of not understanding the world around him that it became the norm.

Appearance: Hobby takes the form of a stuffed dear like creature. It's not easy to pin point exactly what kind of animal he is, as several of his features can be attributed to a number of animals. Long, wolf like ears, a deer snout, ram horns, a bipedal body with long, gangling arms. His legs are similar to that of a hooved animal, yet he has a very long, snake like tail tail that ends in ball of fine thread. Across his body several stitches appear at every joint, with a massive one running from head to toe, splitting him in the middle. His face is surprisingly capable of expression, despite his pair of black, button eyes. His teeth compromise of a series of rusty needles, giving him a wicked grin. The same needles make up his nails, but also appear in random parts of his body. The actual body is brown in colour sans the golden thread that holds him together and several patches of various patterns that seem to come and go. The fur he's made from is very fine and feels warm during cold and cool during heat. If touchd, his bodyoffers no resistance, almost as if hugging a hollow sack, but will eventually feel like fluid if squeezed. Despite this he can pick and hold item, meaning that his body can harden at will. A rather large needle made of golden Digizoid is always seen either in his arm or impaled through his body some position like a pin cushion. This needle is linked to the golden thread that runs through him. Trying to peer through the cracks of his stitching or into his open mouth will reveal nothing but murky darkness, almost as if staring into a void. Finally, Hobby stands at a terrifying 6'4, but has been known to shorten his legs if needed. His body is prone to random modifications. He often sports various hand crafted hats or items, as well as piercings. Hobby can summon smaller versions of himself called Curios, but these can take any shape he wishes, yet still retain plush like qualities.

Personal History: All Hobby can remember was that he didn't exist until one day he did. It was an awkward experience to wake up in that filthy bar. After several minutes of trying to adjust to the light, only to realise there was no light and that he could see perfectly fine, the construct finally spoke his first words. "I don't get it, it feels exactly the same as before except not really?" A phrase that would surely not go down in any history books, but the craftsman who made him seemed to get it. A Digimon known as Alagus was attempting to create a new vessel for himself, though this one didn't come out quite empty. Small issue, really, usually he torched those things and tried again, but hobby seemed different. Not because he was unique or anything of the sort, but rather the fact that in under an hour of life he had already managed to not only break his bindings, but reduce the room he was into a scene of havoc, merely by doing what he apparently did best; collecting things. A loose screw there, a piece of wood from that other place, the arm of that funny looking Digimon. One had to wonder why Alagus did nothing to stop it, but then again it was impossible to tell these things.
Eventually, after having picked a name and a preferred gender (which involved a poll from the single person present in his creation), Hobby set out of that murky bar and into the world. All 10 feet from the entrance of the bar that was. It seemed like no matter what he did, he couldn't leave the vicinity of the establishment, but that didn't stop him from trying anyway. Alagus would later inform him that he wasn't what he thought he was. His Digicore was contained entirely within the string that held him together, warped around a golden needle. Suddenly the trail that connected him to the table we woke up on made a lot more sense. A couple of explanations that Hobby already forgot later, he was ready to set out for real, this time needle in hand. If what the stranger said was true, then he was essentially free to do whatever he wanted, as long as he occasionally took his calls, which seemed fine at the moment because he wasn't given a phone number or that person's name. Regardless of the murky details of his existence, Hobby wanted one thing and one thing only; to open his very own oddities and crafts shop. Thus, a creature that was most certainly designed for shady deeds set out to collect yarn and art supplies.

[Eucalyptus Claw]: Phascomon delivers a slash attack with its venom coated claws, poisoning the target for a brief duration [1 post].
[Yawn]: Phascomon lets out a yawn. Rookie level Digimon around the area who observe or hear this effect will feel drowsy and fall asleep at the end of their second post. Taking damage or receiving any kind of debuff immediately ends the effect. [Max duration: 1 post] [Cooldown: 3 posts]

Abilities: [Knickknack] [Passive]: Hobby is a stuffed animal more or less, even if his appearance is anything but cuddly. This grants him a certain degree of shock absorption, meaning that blunt force attacks will be nullified unless he is continuously subjected to repeated strikes. This ability can absorb physical damage for a total of two posts before attacks can go through for a single post at regular damage. Afterwards the chain resets, starting at the first instance of blunt force. Slashing damage is enhanced against Knickmon.
[Rot] [Passive]: Damaging Hobby releases a cloud of corrupted essence in a small area around him (5 feet) that deals damage to anything caught in it. Hobby himself and Curios are immune to the damaging effects of this ability. Consecutive instances of Rot increase its damage up to fivefold with a two post merit period before the effect resets. Destroying a creature affected by Rot releases a toxic cloud at the maximum damage of this ability around them that adds 3 stacks of Rot.
[Cotton Heap] [Passive]: Hobby is a resilient creature besides his lack of internal organs (though the needle that serves as his core can be destroyed). This is partially due to his ability to regenerate whenever he damages data around through offensive means. Every time Hobby deals damage he regenerates a small percentage of the damage he received. Damage instances from Rot do not heal unless all five stacks are applied.
[Catch Stitch]: Hobby throws his needle forward at a high speed. The range of this attack has a minimum range of 10 feet, but can be extended to 120. Upon colliding with a target or terrain the needle deals damage. Hobby can then either retract the thread to move the target toward him, or pull himself at the target location instantly. The needle tip is augmented enough to pierce through most armours, but will not penetrate barriers. The needle remains lodged in place until the next attack. If the needle does not hit anything it will reach its maximum allowed ranged before stopping in mid air and being pulled back, dealing damage to anything in its path. [Cooldown: 1 post]
[Cross Stitch]: Hobby can stitch anything together, including things that would conventionally not be stitchable such as Digizoid. Besides the ability to link things together or clamp them shut, anything stitched by Cross Stitch will be unable to break for one post unless sliced by Hobby's needle. After the one post duration, the thread can be snapped with any amount of force. The execution of Cross Stitch doesn't require Hobby to perform the motion, but it requires him to be in melee range. The needle remains lodged in place until the next attack. Outside of combat Cross Stitch can be used to repair wounds or patch up broken items at no cooldown. [Cooldown: 2 posts]
[Life Stitch]: Hobby projects a thread of pure energy forward that instantly latches to an enemy upon contact. This effect can spread to adjacent enemies, linking them together. Any damage received by a creature bound by Life Stitch is transferred to anyone else bound by the same thread. [Max targets: 3] [Duration: 3 posts] [Cooldown: 2 posts upon expiration]
[Dismember]: Via his needle or other less conventional means, Hobby attempts to dismember or otherwise severelydamage anything in melee range. Enemies that have a needle lodged in them after being exposed to Cross or Catch Stitch receive increased damage from this ability.
[Rotting Stuffing]: Hobby takes a deep breath before breathing out a vile cloud of viscous, black smog in a wide arc in front of him. Anyone caught in this ability will suffer heavy damage and become severely slowed for the duration if they remain in the smog area. The smog persists for a post. Hobby is granted a large heal if hit by this ability, but his summons are instantly destroyed if caught in the cone (meaning the attack must be fired toward them). The lingering cloud also obstructs direct vision for the duration, but does nothing to obscure detection abilities that do not rely on direct line of sight. This ability adds 2 stacks of Rot if hit by Hobby and 1 stack of Rot if hit by a Curio. An enemy hit by multiple instances of Rotting Stuffing does not take additional damage, but receives stacks of Rot independently. [Cooldown 3 posts]
[Curio]: Hobby summons up to three Rookie level stuffed animals of his choice that can act independently. A Curio does not have much offensive capabilities (unless fighting a Fresh level, then it's a powerhouse), but can cast Cross Stitch and Life Stitch on behalf of Hobby (using his own attack slot and cooldowns, meaning that these activation are not independent of Hobby). In the case of Rotting Stuffing, Curios will instead fire a cone of the ability in front of them independently when Hobby casts. Curios gain all of Hobby's passives and last until destroyed. Curios can be instantly killed by Hobby's needle to heal for a small percentage [Cooldown: 3 posts after the last instance of Curio is destroyed].
[Yarn over fear] [Finisher]: Hobby retracts his needle and all thread, dealing damage to everything caught in the retraction. Then, he stabs himself several times with it in an erratic manner until his tar stuffing has coated it, and the area around him, dealing sever damage to himself in the process. He then performs a much faster version of Catch Stitch aimed at the targets core. Any Curios present can be scarified to strengthen this attack in terms of damage and speed, with all three offering double the damage and speed. An enemy with five stacks of Rot takes double damage from this attack, consuming all stacks in the process. At three Curios and five stacks of Rot the opponent will take triple damage. Unlike Catch Stitch, this ability will completely negate any sort of armour or barrier in its way. If the target is severely damaged after this ability (including previous damage) below a threshold (3 attacks to form reversion), Hobby can drag their core back to him, instantly forcing de-evolution early. The core is then consumed to heal Hobby for a large percentage and refresh his cooldowns (does not stack with itself). An enemy that has their core consumed will spawn a Curio of their likeness (Rookie level) which can then be summoned in place of normal Curio. [Once per thread]
