Digivice: D-3, with an indigo base color and light gray grips. The color scheme is startlingly similar to the indigo model of the Game Boy Advance.
Personality: An introverted person, she’d prefer some advanced notice before she’s thrown into any significant amount of social interaction. She does her best to be civil, but is still figuring out how to get past the casual friend stage. As a result, she hasn’t been able to replicate the true closeness she shares with her parents and younger sister. But she hopes to. Someday.
The quickest way to get her to open up is to mention you like one of the same things she likes, but she’s not going to tell you what she likes until she knows you like it, so you’re going to have to guess. But if you manage to guess correctly, she’ll unleash a geyser of words on the subject, with so many thoughts on her mind she’ll be unable to get it all out.
She sometimes jokes that humor is the one way she knows how to communicate, and while this isn’t entirely true, it sure feels like it sometimes. She finds the easiest way to contribute to a group conversation is a witty one-liner. When they are witty, that is; some are better than others.
Having grown up in a pretty peaceful family, she tends to avoid conflict like it’s oil and she’s water. She absolutely hates making people upset, even if they deserve it, and will feel terrible if she believes that’s what happened. As a result, she comes off as a pretty nice person, but she wonders if she could be kinder, a better person overall. In what is likely not a coincidence, people often tell her she’s hard on herself.
Appearance: Thin, but not “skin and bones” skinny. On the shorter side of average height. She has light skin, blue eyes, and shoulder length dark blonde hair, pulled back by a hair clip. Her usual outfit depends on the weather; in fact, she usually checks the temperature every morning before she can pick an outfit. On the hottest days, she wears a tank top and shorts, and on the coldest, a scarf, gloves, and long, fluffy coat. However, it’s usually pretty modest in terms of style, full of solid colors and simple patterns, as she’s not a fan of excessive flashiness. In cooler weather, she usually has blue unripped jeans and sneakers. She’s usually moving at least a little when she’s sitting or standing still, even if it’s just rubbing her fingers together. Has a tendency to look absorbed in whatever she’s doing, with, for example, her head bent down to look at her phone on the table.
Personal History: She considers herself a pretty lucky person, even by middle class American standards. She grew up in a comfortable home, with no major financial struggles, and her parents not only stayed together but never fought beyond playful teasing. She had a pretty good relationship with her sister as well; they knew to give each other space when one of them was in a bad mood.
In college, she struggled to figure out what she wanted to do. Her true passion was in stories and entertainment, but she knew it was hard to get into those industries, so she decided on mechanical engineering instead. Mechanical engineering sounded hard and boring, so she quickly switched to building robots. That didn’t work out so well either, but in the process, she realized something in STEM she was good at: coding. It was a massive relief that she’d finally found her major, and it was early enough that she even managed to graduate a year early. But with graduation came another big decision: a job.
Luckily, an extraordinary opportunity came to her in the form of an email from Olivia, a friend she’d made on a family trip to Japan a couple years earlier. As it turned out, she was part of an independent video game company looking for new recruits. The pay was good, the hours were flexible, and the work environment was very casual, not to mention Jeanette would get to use her technical talents doing something she loved. It was perfect.
The trouble was, it was also based in Tokyo, Japan.
The language barrier wasn’t the issue; yes, it was there, but this was a multinational group, and many people spoke English. Her main problem was being so far away from home, away from her family. But then again...she wasn’t sure if she’d ever get an opportunity like this again.
And so, the summer after graduation, she found herself on a one-way flight to Tokyo.
Digimon Name: Cheeto
Default Form: Patamon
Gender: Male
Alignment: Too young to have any set ideals, but wants to be good.
Skills/Talents: He can blow a mean bubble, if he does say so himself.
Personality: Naive and innocent, Cheeto is prone to getting lost. He was only born recently, after all, and there’s a lot he wants to know about the world around him. He finds joy in the littlest things, like butterflies, snow, or calculators; in fact, just discovering something new is bound to cheer him up. And to him, almost everything is new.
But he’s not just an aimless wanderer; ever since he learned the word “destiny,” he’s been fixated on the idea of existing for a purpose. He wants to dedicate himself to something, something great, and he hopes his little adventures will eventually bring him to it. He doesn’t know what it is, but he does know that when he does find it, he’ll pour his heart and soul into it.
Cheeto is also a Digimon of very few secrets; he has little concept of what is and isn’t appropriate to say in certain situations and, as a result, has very little filter.
DIGIMON'S INITIAL EVOLUTION LINE
Level: Fresh
Species: Poyomon
Appearance:
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Deep Savers
Type: Slime, Jellyfish
Fighting Style: Consists entirely of bubble blowing.
Abilities:
Super Bubble Blow - Spits acidic bubbles from his mouth to defend himself from intruders. Can throw an opponent off for a couple of seconds if the bubble lands in their eyes, but it doesn’t really hurt unless they already have an open wound.
Digivolves From: Digi-Egg
Digivolves To: Tokomon
Level: In-Training
Species: Tokomon
Appearance:
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Wind Guardians, Virus Busters
Type: Lesser
Fighting Style: Still not made for prolonged combat. Focus is on safely getting away, but will bite if necessary.
Abilities:
Bite - Suddenly opens his mouth wide, and snaps at the opponent with the fangs growing closely packed within. This causes a bit of damage--and hurts like heck--but only if he manages to get part of his opponent inside his mouth. And he’s not quite fast enough for that to be easy.
Frothy Spit - Spits acid bubbles at the opponent. About as effective as the acid bubbles in Fresh form.
Digivolves From: Poyomon
Digivolves To: Patamon
Level: Rookie
Species: Patamon
Appearance:
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Nature Spirits, Wind Guardians, Virus Busters
Type: Mammal
Fighting Style:
With the power of flight on his side, dodging is this Patamon’s specialty. In fact, he enjoys it more than fighting; the way he darts out of the way of oncoming attacks makes him feel untouchable. He has to be careful, however, because his flight is limited, and too much gliding around too quickly will tire him out.
He prefers to launch attacks from a distance, but if necessary, he’s willing to dive in and deliver a signature ear slap.
Abilities:
Boom Bubble - Sucks in air, then spews an air shot out in one burst.
Hane Bita - Strikes the opponent with his large ears.
Breeze Blaster - Inflates his body and spits out clouds. The effect is like being bombarded with BB pellets.
Whirlwind - Spins in tight circles around an opponent, rendering Rookies or lower dizzy for 1 post. They have trouble seeing straight, and their coordination worsens. Cooldown: 1 post.
Digivolves From: Tokomon
Digivolves To: Angemon
Level: Champion
Species: Angemon
Appearance:
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Wind Guardians, Virus Busters
Type: Angel
Fighting Style: Angemon is much more hands-on than the Patamon form. Since his larger build is less suitable for dodging, he prefers to launch a relentless stream of attacks, while gliding out of the way of anything he can. He’s stoic, focused, as if this battle is not a fun pastime but his sacred duty. He also tends to stay on the ground most of the time.
Abilities:
Hand of Fate - Punches the opponent, his fist glowing gold to add power.
Hand of Fate - Long Range- Shoots a beam out of his fist to strike his opponent from a distance. Cooldown: 1 post, but can wait up to 3 posts to increase the beam’s strength
Angel Rod - Essentially a bonk on the head, or somewhere else on the body, with his Angel Rod.
Omni Typhoon - Spins around to create a divine tornado. Powerful enough to blow opponents a medium distance away in its initial burst. Less powerful afterward, but it acts as a shield for 1 post, able to prevent enemies from landing close range attacks. Cooldown: 2 posts
Blessing - Partially heals either himself or another. Capable of completely treating wounds inflicted by Digimon of a lower level and partially treating wounds inflicted by Digimon at the same level. Becomes less effective the higher the level of the Digimon responsible. Cooldown: 1 post
Angel Slam - Uses his Angel Rod to throw an opponent into the air so that they slam onto the ground. Requires getting in close enough to slip the Rod underneath them. Cooldown: 1 post
