"Heh! Now this is more like it!"
The jubilant roar of one Digimon echoed against the terrorized screams of others. Like it or not, Wisemon couldn't simply rely on a blanket search of the forest - no, he needed a more direct hand in some areas. After all, what if one of the locals had a more direct lead towards the effigy? Or, at least that's what his order was for doing this. In this case, however, the Gigasmon seemed to be in his own element. Having found a small town hidden away in the trees, this earthen monstrosity made it a point to tear through each and every house. Precious jewelry and the like already hung off of several of his spikes, as animal and bird types, and the like, quickly made their exit, away from this monstrosity.
This terrorizing Digimon was still on a tear, of course: having climbed up a sturdy tree, the beast forced his palm through the wall of another abode - and this time, finally, he managed to get something in his grip: a Gazimon, arms pinned and left completely helpless!
"Damn it! Let... go!"
"Sorry - your fault for thinking it was a good idea to hide inside against a house-breaker, really" He gave a chuckle - now he had a bit of leverage! Now if only there was still someone around to ask...

A strange feeling descends Alice and Dorothy as they look upon the carnage, an almost familiar air to it. Planning to leave the eastern regions of the Digital World and finally approach the Field Club again couldn't possibly have been done at a less opportune time, the green haired woman thinks to herself. "...I don't care what's happening here, it needs to be stopped." As she begins to pull her Digivice out of her pocket, Dorothy glares at her, teeth visible in a crescent shaped frown.
"...I can tell what you're wantin' me to do. We're gonna do that again." The words are almost spat out at her own Tamer, the Witchmon's eyes narrowing. "We went over this. I ain't doing it unless we need to."
Closing her eyes briefly, the emerald haired woman shakes her head in response, just as nervous about it as her Digimon partner, but unwilling to show it, taking a few steps forwards, towards the remains of buildings. "You've seen that thing. It's stronger than we are otherwise... Plus this, this is just..."
"Disgustin'?" With a nod, the Witchmon gets back on her broom and floats into the air, seemingly in agreement. "Who just starts rippin' apart people's homes like this? Where's the fun in that!?" A slightly sadistic laugh comes from her, directed at nobody in particular... For now. "Yeah, I get that, but I don't wanna have you get in the way 'n leech on what I can do."
"...We might have to if things really are this dangerous... I don't think a Digivolution can be triggered at will, anyways." As her partner heads in front of her, leading the way into the wrecked town, Alice's expression becomes that flat, emotionless one she hides her thoughts with, the destruction she passes by hard for her to stomach. The strange feeling of familiarity only makes it worse, that something that happened once before just might be happening again...
The two press onward, openly ready for the worst.

The Eastern Timberlands. The Digital World's leading exporter of wood, well, the data for it. It was easier to compile and export the trees somewhere else than it was to create a whole new code just for lumber. Viktor's purpose here was just that... helping move a shipment of compiled lumber data to Terminus, where he and Genesis had been residing. They're funds were getting low, and this was the easiest way.
"So far, too easy. You'd think bandits would attack something as easy as lumber."
Viktor shrugged; "I imagine it's like the real world's wood. Not worth too much and more costly to cut it."
Genesis turned to her fox partner, "Then why have guards?"
Though it was not said, Viktor assumed it was because something much more valuable was on the caravan, something worth at least 10,000 bits, which is what they were being paid. Viktor leaned to whisper to Genesis before something roared out, and screams followed, then the sound of crashing buildings.
"Rampant Digimon! Come on, Vik!" Genesis gestured
Viktor held up his hands in protest, "Our job is the caravan, not that small town."
Genesis sighed, then leaned back. The Caravan driver spoke up, leaning his head from the vehicle; "Our HQ is in that city. We can't mark this job complete until... whatever that is is taken care of." without a reply, the driver ducked his head back in and turned the large, red truck-like vehicle around; "I'll park her in a safe place until you guys are done."
Viktor sighed, looking to Genesis; "Genesis, I haven't even taken champion form yet. This isn't wise."
Genesis gave a toothy smile, pulling Viktor by the arm; "Neither was taking this job, then!"
He planted both feet, much to Genesis' dismay, until she realized what he was doing; Viktor was closing his eyes as a white light enveloped him. His body stretched and grew, his entire form shifted to a much more... feral stance, and before long, the Renamon was a pure silver and white Kyuubimon, much the same to Genesis' when she was a fox.
Viktor's voice, now much more... animal, spoke against the backdrop of the screams and crashes; "Let's... go."
The two headed in, ready to face whatever was on the otherside. Though, any foe would be able to tell Viktor's form was... fairly fresh or at least inexperienced.

... On second thought, screw trying to ask someone, this was way too fun! With the Gazimon in tow, the earthen golem simply continued his onslaught, ripping off the side of another hut as he peered inside. "Tch..." Nothing in that one either? Whatever - he flipped over the roof like a tired dinner plate, and begrudgingly made his way from what looked like the last house. Oh, whatever - onto the next one, then-
- Oh? Well, wasn't that a sight? Once more before him was that annoying green-haired tamer and the firery-and-watery Witchmon? Seeing the two of them, the Gigasmon tensed both of his fists - the Gazimon giving a sharp cry as he felt that grip tighten around him. "Oh, will you lookie here? It must be my birthday, hah!" Oh, sweet revenge! He grinned his teeth, starting to lumber on over, even as that Kyuubimon appeared in the background. "I never got a chance to properly thank you two before... so..."
He slammed his free right hand into the ground, and gripped against the terrain underneath. "Here's a present!" A little flick of the wrist was all it took to dislodge a huge piece of earth right from the ground, and hurl it, right in Alice's direction! Straight out of the gate, he kept his focus right on the tamer!
"I'll take care of you two nice and quick-like!"
As Viktor and Genesis approach, Gigasmon uses Rock Wrecker, hurling a giant piece of the earth itself towards Alice!

It all happens in an instant, the green haired woman shrieking as she holds her Digivice to her heart as if to protect herself, praying to whatever powers may be that she remain safe. With Dorothy sweeping in to try and save her from the literal boulder being thrown, both are immediately thrown into survival mode, their instincts overriding all other thoughts as the broom riding Witchmon narrowly manages to pull Alice away before she's undoubtedly smashed into a pulp. As safe as Alice is, the sheer speed of the massive rock and the inevitable shrapnel bring something flying into her leg, a sharp piece of debris embedded into her thigh, the woman in intense, brutal pain from the gash. And it only gets worse as Dorothy Digivolves once again, the physical soon joined by the unnatural, the emerald haired woman left on the broom, barely able to think as her partner, now a Wisemon, readies to fight. "...If you're going to play like that, you don't deserve mercy, attacking a defenseless, weak human. But then again, you do seem... Like the same one from before. The same monster, the same..." Despite her injury, Alice hangs onto Dorothy's flying broom with a look unlike her own, her head buzzing with an almost electrical hum and throb mixed with unhealthy levels of adrenaline. "...Guess you're mad at me, hah..." Even if left unable to walk for the time being, She flips through the pages of the book so associated with Wisemon, and she laughs, perhaps of overconfidence, or perhaps of her mind not being well. "Shut up! Ya could have died right then and ǝɹǝɥʇ." Dorothy almost growls out her response, the spellcaster glaring at her, and then at the Gigasmon, her vibrantly glowing eyes slanting in a cartoonishly angry look. "Hey, you! How'd ya like your own face gettin' pǝʇsɐlq off without warning... How low can you possibly sink... Maybe we'll rip you limb from limb 'n listen to your screams... Yeah, that sounds fun!" Despite the fact that things haven't ended in her death, Alice is terrified, despite the situation turning around. An actual threat on her life has taken place, the pain running through her leg a constant reminder of that. Maybe it's broken. Maybe not. It's impossible to tell when energized by something she cannot understand, physical senses dulled in exchange for power. "If you want to surprise me... We've got a few of our own. Right, Dorothy?" "Right!" While Alice decides to stay away and seek a better position for now, Dorothy readies for the worst, the Wisemon understandably tense. Occasionally glancing to her injured Tamer, and still unaware of the other pair approaching the scene, all that matters now is the enemy and how they must be destroyed. And to start things off, Dorothy clutches the Space-Time stones in her hands, focusing a distortion onto the hulking Gigasmon's location. "You're just cruel... And you know what they say... An eye for an eye."Holding the enemy still would probably be for the best. Grimoire activates as Dorothy hits Ultimate again to defend her Tamer!

With a grunt and awkward turn of his body, Viktor watched as this monster of a Digimon literally reached into the Earth and throw it at a green haired woman. Only for her to easily repel it and respond with an attack of her own. Viktor quickly turned to Genesis, looking to the city behind them; "Go... evacuate."Genesis threw her arms up, "I'm not leaving! I don't run from fights!"Viktor growled and gestured, "Our... client... city."Genesis' eyes widened as she understood what he meant; "Ah... okay. Can you handle this?"Viktor didn't wait to give an answer; He braced all four feet onto the dirt and aimed for the Gigasmon, taking in consideration of his movements, his foes movements, and the Green haired woman's Digimon's attacks. His goal was to inflict more damage on this foe, not be caught in the crossfire himself. He lowered his head, taking a deep breath as he rushed in, keeping his head down as it appeared the fox was trying to headbutt the beast! Though if that was actually the case, it would remain unknown until he either landed his blow or finish out whatever plan might have been hatched with this rush. Viktor was prepared. Sure his was still a bit awkward in this form, but it was coming to him as he closed the gap between him and the Gigasmon! It was time to test the beast for what he was! Genesis stays within range for the Digivice, but heads into the city to get their client out.

"Heh! If you don't want to get hurt, girl, don't play the game! Shutting down a human or a Digivice is the best way to deal with you troublesome aatos!"
Objectively, he had a point, even if it was a cruel and anti-human one - but unfortunately for him, this didn't look like it was going to be a one-horse party anymore. Yes, the Relativia Warp did root the Gigasmon in place, but the stone behemoth barely even noticed. After all, now there was this other fox trying to play smart, haphazardly trying to jump right towards him. What, was it going to use one of those flaming tackles on him? If he went for another rock, he'd just be noticed - but the Gigasmon had another idea.
"Batter Up!"
"No, no, no!"
Alright, this was not what the hostage had expected to be used for! The rookie-level was hurled forth - like a rock - aimed dead center at the Kyuubimon! He would try and step forward in an attempt to right-hook the target - but after an attempt, floundering forward, he simply gave a frustrated growl.
"Hey, ladies, c'mon! Don't mess with a brawl like that!"
Gigasmon uses Rock Wrecker - yes, the same move again - to hurt his hostage right at the Kyuubimon's center of mass.
He tried to follow-up with a punch, but was held back by the bind!

"...Who's that!?" Alice is a bit surprised to see someone, anyone else in the conflict alongside her and Dorothy, but it comes as a relief, the green haired woman simply waiting for a better time. She only has one shot to surprise the enemy, after all, one moment of pure shock at what should not be possible... Even if it is just as unpleasant to the one doing it as it would be to her enemy. "Dorothy! Assist the other person going up against our enemy!" For now, she simply takes out her Digivice to scan the enemy, desperate for some sort of advantage against this hulking brute. "As for me, I have just a little bit of a plan..." "Well, think fast!" The Wisemon snaps back at her Tamer, finding talk to be more than a little inconvenient. Given the dire situation, Dorothy decides that it might be good to try and soften up the monstrous rock throwing monster's defenses while Alice plans ahead. Another pulse of distorted energy is sent to the enemy by Dorothy, this time to weaken materials. "... ɐᴉɹǝɯɐl∀ ɟo ʇǝN!"While hidden behind one of the half destroyed buildings, Alice focuses her mind, trying to once again call upon unthinkable power despite the discomfort it causes. To her, she has to do this... There's no other option but to fight. An electric feeling traces across her fingertips as she begins to direct some of it out once more, readying the ring-shaped magic spell from before, but not bringing it into full focus yet. "It's not time for me to actually... Play my hand yet." she whispers to herself before returning to somewhere she can survey the battle, not exactly from a safe distance, but nowhere really is safe when Digimon are fighting, Alice having seen enough fights to understand such. It's now that Dorothy realizes the mysterious Kyuubimon assisting her and Alice is, in fact, just that, a Champion level recklessly rushing against an Ultimate. "I appreciate it, but can ya take this a lil' more ʎlsnoᴉɹǝs?" It concerns her slightly, unsure if this is a battle they can win.
Dorothy uses Net Of Alameria.
Alice readies one of three uses of Spell Charge after scanning Gigasmon with her Digivice. Net Of Alameria: Reduces the defensive capabilities of up to two enemies caught in the radius for 3 turns, and enhances Dorothy's defenses for 2, also drawing attention to her. 4 post cooldown.
Spell Charge (RAM UPGRADE 1): Provides a passive effect that enhances her next attack in a different way depending on what attack is used:
Poison Storm blinds for two turns. Baluluna Gale does greatly increased damage (and impact). Aquary Pressure requires no time to charge, and can be used immediately after Spell Charge if needed. Shardallion Lens protects up to three targets from projectiles. Armagus Flare ignites for two turns. Mark Of Golachab's effects last for 4 turns.
Can only be used three times per thread.

To them, one's outside of Viktor's own head, it seemed like he was rushing in blindly, attacking a much stronger foe at a very inferior angle. But Viktor's plan was to fake out his foe, move to the center and throw him off balance allowing for the matched levels to play their games. He might have been weaker as such, but this was not his first battle! There it was, a coming attack. Viktor expected a lot of things, a piece of the Earth, generated energy, even a possible tackle. But what he wasn't expecting was for the Gigasmon to throw the Gazimon. The thought of using the feint crossed Viktor's mind as the shocked face of the Gazimon grew closer, wasting this move now was playing his cards too early. That, and he was a bit caught off guard by the sudden action that the Gazimon would land dead center on the fox's midsection, sending them both flying back as Viktor would sigh, looking over at the Gazimon projectile; "Any survivors?"He's slowly stand, shaking his fur off as he'd look to his allies for this battle; "Is this really the time for that?" he'd shake his head as he'd watch the Gigasmon. She was right, though. This enemy was beyond the pair, at least right now. They'd have to play it smart, this was battle was going to be one of attrition more than anything else. "Our only hope is to wear him down, every Digimon has their limits, even conditioned ones. Make him move, make him work. Conserve what you have." This held true in humans and he found that, unless supplemented by weaker foes, it remained true in Digimon as well. The fox would look to the Wisemon, as he re-positioned to stand next to her, but out of the way of her attacks; "Hell of a time to not have Kajunemon..." he whispered to himself as he leaned his head back and began shooting small, blue, diamond like projectiles toward the Gigasmon! They wouldn't be lethal, but they'd annoy him for certain. He could only hope that the other Digimon with him would agree and they could conquer this brute! Viktor uses Fox Bolt in quick succession. For how ridiculous that plan was, that seemed way too effective! The Gazimon was hurled head-first, the top of his back impacting the Kyuubimon's midsection as both would be sent flying back several yards. Dorothy's assessment was quite correct: a mere Champion wasn't going to do much to this Gigasmon on his own.
And forget about the rookie: to Viktor's question, he could only muster a completely nonsensical response: "Tuesdays are not for pie day, Granma..."
Oh yeah, he was out of it. But fortunately, the other three were far more interesting to the Gigasmon. Well, somewhat: "If all ya'll are gonna do is try to take some pot-shots," he grunted as a Fox Bolt hit his shoulder, "then maybe I should make myself scarce as well!" What, was he already running away?
Yeah right, far from it! Instead, the Gigasmon hunched his back over, and dragged his earthen hands into the ground. With a quick tear, rock and debris would shoot up behind, as this massive beast burrowed right on underground! The net landed flat against the surface of the forest floor, missing entirely, as the ground beneath them started to rumble.
This... well. This did not bode well.
Gigasmon is preparing to attack from underground!

"Guh... I should have known he'd do this!" Alice almost seems frustrated, the green haired Tamer floating around on Dorothy's broom, gritting her teeth slightly. "Dammit, do you guys have anything that could get him out from underground?! I'll check through my cards quick, see if I do..." Panic strikes her, as this is familiar, bringing back unpleasant memories of the harrowing fight back on that snow covered, windy mountain. She shuffles through her bag hastily, looking through all the cards she has with a panic visible on her face.
"I agree. We need to wear him down, this one didn't give up then, he ain't givin' up now. Plus he's built like a brick wall made of other brick walls.." Dorothy grumbles, just as uncertain about the current situation as her Tamer. "Glad to get some help, though. Alice lets how cool we are get to her head." The snarky response causes the green haired woman, with something clearly stuck in one of her legs, to lash out.
"Shut up! We need to stop him as soon as possible, before he destroys absolutely everything... There are people on the line." Her breathing heavy, Alice continues rummaging through what cards she has to use with her D-ARC, growing more and more desperate by the second, but it seems that she has nothing, the green haired woman now glancing to the strange duo of Kyuubimon and their Tamer. "If you can't do anything, we can only wait. I've seen what he does before, stay off the ground, he's trying to pull you in. We've fought him before, but this time he's not messing around..."
"Course he ain't. After we pǝɥsnd him down a cliff?" Dorothy makes a loud, sarcastic laugh, recalling the event more fondly than Alice does. "There's wantin' someone gone, and then there's wanting someone dead. He wants us dead."

Again, this foe continued to surprise. Viktor was expecting him to a great deal many things, but burrowing under the ground was not one. But where as Alice began to panic and dig through her belongings to find something to counter, Viktor remained calm, putting some distance between them; "Not much... keep your distance. If he grabs anyone, let's ensure it's ONLY one."Viktor had dealt with burrowing enemies before, the principle of sight remained, at least in his mind. They couldn't see, but they could feel. Standing still was an option but there were others that could sense data. Viktor couldn't risk that he planted both feet and sighed out, a small shield forming around the outlines and curves of his body, creating a protective barrier that would burn the Gigasmon should he reach for the fox. Though it might not be enough to seriously injure, it could be enough to catch him by surprise so he could escape, in the event a leg or limb was grabbed. "Okay, come on... where are you, friend?"He closed his eyes, trying to listen and feel, rather than look. Sight being more of an enemy than an ally in this instance. The cards were dealt, each player had their hand. Now it was time to play their luck. Viktor was hoping his were enough that it could give him a small enough advantage. Though that wasn't a lot, every little bit counted. With the hopeful burn-to-the-touch layer of fire and the weak senses to where the Gigasmon was, Viktor was hoping it was enough in his hand to play the house. But in games of chance, the house usually won. Viktor uses Fire Shield: Small fire shield around him, burns to the touch, [1] Post duration. [2] Post cool down.

Well, that was a fairly passive response. Gigasmon was sure that at least the Kyuubimon was going to shoot a stream of fire down into that burrow, or the Wisemon would try and slice into the ground with one of those familiar water streams. Absent that, he would have thought that they would all vacate ground level...
... So why did the Kyuubimon stay? Sensing a light vibration on the soil, accented by the activation of his flames and even the voice carried through his body, the Gigasmon had his target. Only about halfway through that taunt, the Gigasmon's arm shot right out over the soil - attempting to bring his entire arm around the Kyuubimon in a vice grip, his elbow centered right around his spine! A deep singe would overtake that rocky armor - and the vibration would definitely be heavy - but this rocky monster wasn't a slouch at digging. If he managed to get a grip on the fox, he'd give a harsh pull, to force his target against the ground in a painful grapple.
Regardless, the monster's head and chest would similarly surface, his opposite hand already grabbing at a firm sheet of soil at the top level.
"Yeah, keep it going just like that, ya'll! I'll drag you all under, eventually!"
Gigasmon uses Jack in the Box II!

With a grunt and a growl, Viktor turned to avoid the sudden grapple. His heated shield and leverage did nothing to stop the beast from getting a grip around his chest and lower neck of his canine shaped body. Viktor turned opposite, pulling backwards to free himself, but only finding his rear stopping any retreat, due to it hitting the ground.
Viktor grunted, only able to turn away from his captor as he went to bite and tear at the monster, doing what he could in his quadruped state with little no precious fighting experience. Acting as though any animal in his position to keep his head above the dirt. He’d begin spitting that same fire at the Gigasmon at essentially point black range, hoping it would loosen his grip enough that he could escape... otherwise, this would get a whole lot tougher.
But Viktor did work off tougher situations!

With the fox Digimon firmly grasped by her enemy, that horrific, filthy rock goblin, the green haired woman narrows her eyes. Feeling she's left with no choice, she tenses, steadying her arm at her opponent and speeding towards them with reckless abandon on the broom. A frenzied laugh comes from the digitally charged human, heat pooling into a pattern of energy at her hand, and her intent soon becomes clear: She's going to brand Gigasmon with it and amplify the already existing burns, her own safety thrown to the side. The heat is unbearable to her as she readies the attack, a sensation both familiar, and yet completely not. It takes a moment for her to get the hang of branding the opponent with the curse, but soon she's alarmingly close, and with Grumblemon halfway in the ground, he might have trouble avoiding it, the searing heat just as obvious to the person applying it as it might be to the target. And as reckless as her actions may be, she's focused on one thing and one thing alone, getting her ally out of the monster's grasp. After this, she almost smiles before immediately doubling over on the broom, coughing out sparks of light and completely defenseless.
As if to protect her own partner, Dorothy reacts shortly after Alice's almost suicidal actions and attempts to displace and switch positions with her Tamer. "Get outta the way, you lunatic! The heck's gotten into ya?!" As the two swap places, mostly to protect Alice from getting too close to Gigasmon, the Wisemon mutters something to herself quietly. To her, this situation has quickly turned sour. After doing so, Dorothy grabs the hovering red and blue orbs so associated with Wisemon, and taps them together, the world folding around her for a brief moment, a spherical distortion forming into a crude but effective barrier. Even with her Tamer in this abnormal, undoubtedly harmful state, she must protect her, perhaps even more than normal.
Mark of Golachab is attempted to be applied to Grumblemon. Spell charge increases duration to four turns.Dorothy switches places with Alice with Paradigm Shift to bring her to safety, and then uses Shardallion Prism.
Mark of Golachab: Dorothy The user strikes her opponent with her hand, and utters a curse, branding the opponent with a burning rune filled with all manner of curses and scorching their flesh, readying the victim for further assault.
Deals moderate damage and increases all fire-based damage received for two posts. Two turn cooldown.
Paradigm Shift: A rather basic, but ultimately needed ability where Dorothy sends out a pulse of distorted space outwards to Alice, and the two switch places in space-time. It does little else.
Allows Dorothy and Alice to switch places any time in battle, allowing Dorothy to take hits for Alice, and Alice to launch a sudden offense. This has a 20 foot range limit, and any further simply isn't possible. Is a free action, and does not count as an attack, but has a two turn cooldown after being used.
Shardallion Prism: A simple improvement over the previous ability of Shardallion Lens, Dorothy crystallizes space-time around her into a shield that resists damage, putting her in front of danger. The shield absorbs energy to some extent, the result being a barrier that also stores power for later use.
Reduces oncoming damage directed at Dorothy by one third, and if hit, reduces all cooldowns shared by her and Grimoire by 1 post. Three post cooldown. This cooldown does not go down by its' own effect.
Cooldowns Net Of Alameria - Still in effect (2/3) (0/4) Relativia Warp - (2/3) Spell Charge has 2 uses left.
