Ah, yes, the Tuwarmon. "Lan? Take care of the Tuwarmon too please, restrain him and heal afterward if needed".
"Roger" Lantis said, strolling out of the front entrance and doing the deed. The Tuwarmon grunted in pain, but showed no signs of weakness, merely glaring at him. It didn't take long for Lantis to go back upstairs and retrieve the others, securing all ten digimon in a secure room, standing guard.
"You alright, guys?" the Monodramon asked the Impmon twins.
"He freakin' spanked us!" one of them snapped with outrage, uselessly struggling against the ziptie holding his arms behind his back.
"That's what you get" Lantis shrugged, amused. "Maybe act like good boys next time and it won't happen".
"I'm a girl you jackass!" the second one spat. Lantis shrugged again.
Sophie chuckled at the Missimon. "Well, thank you, but, it was Tadayoshi and his team's intelligence that allowed us to conduct this operation so effectively" she told them. This was the truth, Scorpmon and Missimon had spotted the targets and allowed Lantis to quickly burst in and take everyone down. Without him, this operation could have been rather messy.
They then reached the building. Enkidu's expression was stern but determined. Sophie turned to him. "Enkidu, where would we be likely to find evidence of what they have planned?" she asked.
"The boss's room" he answered. "There you'll find holosuits, spare clothes, human world cash, gadgets, the works. Nothing written though, everything was verbal".
"Understandable" Sophie said. The evidence was secured soon enough, just as the Terminus city watch arrived. The Aegiochusmon officer leading the squad seemed unamused as he saw the AEGIS agents.
"What's this? AEGIS conducting operations in the digital world now?" he asked, frowning. "Are you deciding to go down the DATS route then? If you are, you'd do well to remember what happened to them..."
"Not at all, officer" Sophie replied calmly. "The digimon in this building were planning an incursion to Earth with the intention to cause chaos and commit crimes there. We have evidence and testimony to back this up. I hope you remember the agreement that was assured between the Terminus leadership and us?"
The agreement basically involved forbidding digimon to travel to Earth with the intention of causing harm there. It was something of a truce between the Terminus digimon and humans, to prevent conflict breaking out in either city. That these digimon were intending to do just that, it meant that they were breaching Terminus city law in risking the breaking of that agreement.
"Very well. We'll take the evidence into consideration and the digimon into custody until we can lay formal charges on them. In truth, we've suspected something shady about this gang for a while now..." he then noticed Enkidu. "And... I believe you were a part of them too?"
"He tipped us off about the whole thing" Sophie said to the officer at once.
"Still though, we will investigate this, and if BlackGaomon has committed any crimes, we expect him to answer for them".
Enkidu gave a nod, nervous, but firm in this. Soon, it would be time for the perpetrators to be removed from their room and taken into Terminus City custody.
"You'd best stay out of sight, Enkidu" Sophie told the BlackGaomon. Enkidu momentarily hesitated. He was preparing himself for the sight of his former comrades, glaring at him as a traitor. Sophie noted this, then added further. "As honorable as you want to be, you're more use to AEGIS if they don't know for sure it was you that tipped us off" she added further. She'd have use of this BlackGaomon, even if he wanted to do the honorable thing. Having the Terminus underground gangs spitting at his name would hamper that.
So, Enkidu exited outside and hid himself as the digimon went past, glaring at the humans as they did so. Sophie gave a sigh at the fact that the Bearmon was still tied in a ball and had to be rolled along by his Koemon friend.
"Really, Lantis?" was all she said to her partner as he appeared at the end of the parade.
"Well, we wanted them alive, and it's hard for me to not destroy rookies outright" he admitted. "But, well, hopefully that's all there is to it here".
"Seems so" Sophie agreed, then turned to Tadayoshi. "Ready to return to Earth?" she asked, preparing to use a portal.

This was the truth, Scorpmon and Missimon had spotted the targets and allowed Lantis to quickly burst in and take everyone down. Without him, this operation could have been rather messy.
"Now then, with that done, all that we need to do is gather evidence" Sophie said as they approached the building.
Tadayoshi then mentioned the job interview from earlier and asked if the position was still open. She grinned and nodded, extending her hand. "Not anymore I'd say. Welcome to AEGIS, Tadayoshi" she said. "Of course we'll go through the formal orientation later on. This is pretty convenient, since my little brother's joined recently too, you can go through orientation together".
