Arya didn’t pay much attention to the group after her introduction. She was wondering about what she had asked before, the bunny child was really an enigma. She was looking at her expecting some replies regarding her unanswered questions, while flipping Kokomon in her arms, scrutinizing the new, larger but still tiny digimon compared to the digimon Maki had transformed from. The evolution stuff was really scary, she didn’t notice went it had happened. Okay, maybe it’s just her, judging by the looks on everyone’s face, they did seemed to notice something. Shiyu was making strange sounds in her hands, starting to feel discomfort from being turned over several times.
“Mmn.. I can feel something going up my throat,” Shiyu mumbled with a frown on her face.
“I never knew you even have one.”
“Apparently I do, alu. I eat.” Shiyu had a point, so Arya stopped her inspection. “What is a mushroom, alu? Is it cute? Am I cute?” Shiyu looked at her with glittering eyes.
“A mushroom is something you can eat, with a head and a stalk.” Arya pictured the a fungus in her mind, Shiyu did look similar to it in her new form. She could feel Shiyu flinched slightly. “But you don’t look edible to me. Well, you kinda look alien.” Arya truthfully stated.
A pair of red sneakers came in sight, she looked up, surprised to find the dark skinned man who came the last, with the missile digimon flying about him. His reassurance did a great job in calming her down. So all digimon evolves, or rather, digivolves. Somehow she felt cozy being around with people she could actually share some secret with. She cackled, “I’m sorry, I’m just confused about why only we get digimon. Last time I checked, the rest of the population seemed oblivious about the digital world. Even digimon don’t know about this device we’ve gotten,” She grabbed the device in her bag.
The tough looking boy was the next to introduce himself, Harry and Rog the Missimon, even his name sounded like missiles. He had an interesting intro about him being the cool kid. Arya liked his confidence. And Rog, she was surprised by his oddly mature personality. He was so different from Shiyu, so bouncy and being so clumsy all the time.
Arya looked back at Maki as she realized Maki’s prideful explanation and she clapped going with the flow. Maki’s digivolution was a unique one, instead of having a digimon and having them evolved, she was evolving herself into one. “Holosuits make digimon into humans? They pretty much sound like a costume to me,” she nodded. She took out her device, “And this is a ‘digivice’,” she thoughtfully nodded a second time. But the last sentence of her speech was a puzzle on her mind, “Spirit king Arthur? As a digimon? Maybe my imagination isn’t that strong.” All she could manage to come up in her head was a man with claws and paws yelling ‘Excalibur’ relentlessly. She scanned the group with a glint of interest in her eyes. Marcia and Suki, Maki and her Lopmon counterpart, Harry and Rog.
Now, there left only one more person who was nameless to all, her gaze automatically fixed to the originator of this fateful meeting. He looked and acted jumpy, and she strode toward the weirdly dressed boy to take a closer look at the device he held in hand. “What is this thing? Is it the latest PSP or something?” He was playing some sort of game involving hatching pets it seemed, and he got two eggs, broken eggs. No. Wait. She too had that device. She gasped, “Those look like the egg from my device, it cracked when I met Shiyu in my room!” Then a blue light shot up from its screen, it was too blinding she took a few steps backward.
She was too busy rubbing her eyes to notice two unfamiliar voices in the crowd, when she blinked, she thought she saw white shadows on the ground beside the boy’s feet, she blinked several times, her mind picture was making her feel chilly. However, as the image cleared, she saw two little creatures resting by his legs, they could talk, so they must be digimon, at least that was what she thought. One was a brilliant orange sun-like trinket with a candlelit fire on its head, the way it spoke he was boyish—Blaze the Sunmon; the other was a light purple dewdrop, much of a copy of Suki, but with a more cheery tint in her wording and attitude—Luna the Moonmon.
Surprisingly the boy turned cheerful after the birth of his digimon and friends, what’s more, he got twins! He was in fact the odd one out. Nathaniel Martello was his name, Nat for short, she would just remember the short one, judging her memory, she would forget his full name anyway.
“Hi, Nat! Congratulations on having twins!” Arya was saying as if Nat had given birth to the twins, well, not literally, but it rang in some ways.
Shiyu was eyeing both Moonmon with teary eyes as they got along with each other. “I am a mushyoom but I wanna make friends too, alu!” she jumped off Arya’s arms and skipped over to the twin digimon. Arya laughed, “Count me in!”
Arya heard Maki holding her cellphone commenting about her ‘general bro’ and her mom, “Your bro seems cool,” she said eagerly. “Uh, I don’t have a mom but I do have a grandpa and his unstoppable nagging,” she rolled her eyes.
"We got to know everyone, so what's next?"

While he was waiting for the last person to make his introduction, Harry took a good long look at his green gripped device. It seem that he gotten a few information from Maki and Arya. Namely that this thing was actually a digivice and it helped digimon digivolve into bigger forms. Then there were things like Holosuits and Spirit user and other crazy things. When he graduated from high school, he thought that he didn’t need to learn anything else. This was just too much. Maybe at least Marcia and Rog got all that and he would just leave it to them to remember this stuff. Then again, he did owe it to Marcia to help try to figure this digimon stuff out.
Then Harry looked back at the other boy. He couldn’t help but noticed he suddenly looked worried and stressed out again. It was kinda like what Marcia does sometimes. It was like that ever since he met her. She would worry about the littlest things and was having problems connection with her dad. She’s started to get better as she gotten older, but now she was stressing over passing the college entrance exam. He just hope all this information about digimon doesn’t start to overwhelm her. Returning his attention back on the boy, it seems that the cause of his stress was coming from a small, silver device. He couldn’t get much closer because everyone else in the group was crowding him. Arya thought that the device was a PSP. Harry was more of a Nintendo 3DS man himself. Not exactly sure this guy was playing a game at a time like this. Then suddenly, a strong blue light came off the screen and then went away. Then he and Rog could hear a couple of small voices. They didn’t know where they came from until the boy picked up two small creatures in hands, one of them looking like Suki. They both said that they are twins.
“Wha…TWINS!?” Harry exclaimed.
Well that seems hardly fair. How come this kid can have two digimon, both twins no doubt. What would it be like if Harry had twin digimon. Maybe we would get to Rogs and…Actually, on second thought, maybe he would just prefer to have one annoying drill sergeant digimon. In any case, he was glad that the boy, who name was revealed as Nathaniel Martello, got his digimon and all. Of course, there was no way he was going to say that full name. He would just call Nat. That would also be much easier. Those two digimon of his are definitely full of energy too. So Harry smiled over at Nat, crossing his arms and giving him a thumbs up.
“Go going, guy. Welcome to the club.” He said to him.
Rog had been looking at Blaze and Luna, having a rather uneasy tingling sensation down his back. He wondered why he couldn’t sense their presence until he heard them. Where exactly did they come from? Maybe he didn’t get enough training and his senses are starting to dull? Still, that wasn’t the only weird feeling he was experiencing. The two new addition asked if they all wanted to be their friend. This taken the Missimon aback a bit. He didn’t really consider having any friends. Maybe Harry was like a friend? He did take care of him when he was just a Bommon. The missile digimon wasn’t too sure. He kept quiet and didn’t really answer about being friends, but he can accept them as allies…allies that need a lot more training.
Now that we got the names and such out of the way, what was the next thing to discuss? He turned his head and noticed that Maki was texting something on her phone. Apparently, her brother was going to come and help answer everyone’s questions. Still, there was one thing that he heard that didn’t want to wait answered. Maki mentioned that she explored some place call the Digiworld. What kind of place was that? Thinking about it, maybe this was the place where these digimon come from. Maybe there are other cool looking digimon there. Rog was thinking the same thing, but not about good things. If there are strong digimon like that Renamon that they faced, they could come to this world and wreak havoc. None of the digimon here are trained enough to handle it.
So Harry walked to spirit user, though he wanted to watch what he said a little. Earlier she went on a tirade about not being treated as a kid. He wasn’t too sure about that. She looks like a kid, acted like a kid, and she even has a curfew. Sounds pretty much like a kid to him. But he need to ask her something important, so he won’t mess with her for now.
“Hey, Maki. So about this Digiworld place, is that where digimon live? How exactly do you get to that place?”
Rog saw Harry and glared at him. He turned on his jet engine and quickly flew over to him, stopping right in front of him. “Harry, sir! I advise that we not go to a place like that. It’s too dangerous.”
Harry chuckled a bit and gave his digimon a reassuring smile. “Aw, come on Rog. You worry too much. I’m sure it’ll be fine. They all got me after all.” He pushed Rog away, stepping over to the group. “In fact, I was thinking that we could pick a leader for this little group of ours when we go to the digiworld. Natually, I volunteer myself for this important job.”
The more Rog watched this, the angrier he gotten. Harry was clearly leading everyone here in danger. The missile digimon couldn’t stand to see all of this anymore. He flew in front of Harry again.
“Sir! I appreciate you taking charge for once. But I can’t just watch you undisciplined troops into a strange, dangerous world. We couldn’t even handle that one strong digimon the other day.” He quickly glared over at the other digimon in the group. “These other digimon wouldn’t stand a chance against an enemy like that, not without strict training. They’re all too silly and naive.”
Harry grumbled a bit. Rog was acting all strict and annoying again. He really did need to get him to lighten up. There was no way he was going to make friends like that. He smiled and rubbed his head nervously.
“Sorry about that guys. Rog can be a bit…strict. Forget about him, kay?” Then he remembered that he needed to mention the other digimon that he ran into yesterday. “Oh yeah…I forgot to say. You guys aren’t the first digimon we’ve seen. There was a circus here the other day. While we were…uhhh…taking a stroll. We saw a really tall digimon. It looked a lot like a huge fox…Renamon, I think it was called.” He said thinking about it.

((OOC: Sorry again guys, i had a bit of an unexpected incident and was busy the past few days, i worked on this post and i'll format it as the time comes, but i feel really bad for holding you back ))
Nat's eyebrows lifted swiftly at the fist bump rejection, deciding to pretend this wasn't happening alongside him until she cooled into a gentle apology. Nat tapped her fist and merely smiled at the youngin' , she was clearly in that stage where she thinks she can handle the world on her own. He couldn't help but laugh at little at this girl's antics, but despite her nature, he still felt as though he'd be obligated to protect her. It was in his nature to watch out for those around him and those close to him and he felt as though despite her attitude towards it, she just might need his help one day. Unfortunately he was only seeing himself being rescued at this moment and it was somewhat embarrassing to envision.
Before he knew it he was immersed within a long list of conversations beginning and ending abruptly or shamelessly melding into one another. It was confusing at first, but it was sort of beautiful to see how easily people were able to communicate and get along with one another. He looked onto his digimon and watched them play around together, and he merely smiled as Marcia came closer to allow them to play with her moonmon as well. Nat cradled his arms so they could move around a bit more freely, although sunomon was basically levitating on its own the digimon was quite capable of hovering a small distance off of any surface and it quickly became well aware of that. As he spun himself in circles repeatedly showing all the energy he had. "Control yourself, Blaze! we have company!" She commanded as he slowed his revolution and steadily unwound facing them all again smiling and laughing. "But that was so much fun, Luna! You're just mad you can't do it to!" He teased as he stuck out his tongue at her. Luna bowed her head quickly and bopped him a top his flaming head, causing him to retort with a sharp "Ow!"
Nat raised a brow to his companions, learning and absorbing all he could about these little monsters as he watched them interact with one another. Comparing even that to how they intereacted with the other digimon was giving him a perfect image of what their personalities are like. He merely pursed his lips, a little happy how much Luna cared about her image and what things appeared like at face value, and was a also in love with Blaze's care free attitude. He enjoyed how well they meshed together and formed this team of complimentary personalities. It was around this point when he was questioned, well the group was, on what exactly they were planning to do next. He pouted and hung his lower lip a bit as he didn't exactly know what to do himself, "Good question." He responded as his digimon jumped up and played.
Nat was only half paying attention to everyone as he thought about what they should do, and found it interesting how lost and confused this group of people were right now, including himself. He heard someone call them something like "Tmrs" And all he could get from that was Tamers, raising his brow confused as he didn't tame a damn thing. "Tamers?" He questioned as he snapped back to reality and looked at Maki a bit intrigued by how much her brother could potentially know and how much he could possibly help them. "You mean your brother is on his way here with some answers?" He questioned sounding a bit more excited then he had before. He looked around himself and just hoped he'd be within eye sight when she said that but unfortunately, he wasn't.
By this time he had heard something about the digital world, the origin of all digimon, or it could potentially be. It was dangerous and it was scary and it sounded like an adventure to him, especially as Rog spoke about them needing training. "Training? As long as there's a will, there's a way. Let's train up and head to the digital world then." He said with complete and utter simplicity as if the matter were that easy to accomplish. "But um....how do we even get there?" He asked soudning a bit withdrawn as he realized he had jumped quite a bit ahead. Blaze bounced a bit and spoke up, "Oh, Oh! There are nice digimon out there to that are willing to help us! They're not all bad!" He added, sounding just as excited as he had ever, only for Luna to butt in as well. "Pfft, if you can get past the wild digimon you mean..."
As soon as Nat was about to speak, Luna spoke up before he could. "Do any of you guys have fuzzy images in your head...?" She questioned as she showed a disgruntled look on her face, Blaze nodding in agreeance. "Yeah...I do to." He added while the two of them seemed a bit down. "I have these visions of the digi world...i feel like..i was stronger than this or i was somebody else...I was scary Nat...i don't want to be scary anymore..." Nat looked at blaze a tad bit concerened now, he was worried about what they said or what they meant by that. He hugged them a bit tighter and just smiled. "Listen if you guys want it, you got it, okay?" He said soothingly as they nuzzled together and he smiled a bit wider, feeling a bit more complete with his new found allies. "Do you guys have any idea how to get to the digital world? I mean....they came from it right? There has to be some way..." He added and trailed off as he kept his twins close and looked down to ensure the worry was gone from their faces. He couldn't help but admit to himself he was a bit scared of what might happen because as much as he cared for them and was becoming affectionate towards them, he had no idea what was going on, he just wanted to help.

There was so much stuff happening all at once. For the first time in a while, Marcia felt like this was being overwhelmed about everything that she learned. She thought the most stressful thing that she would going to experience today was studying for the college entrance exam and this walk would help her calm her mind. Now after all of these children (and Harry) with their digimon, it stressed her out even more. She did her best not to show as she tries to sort her mind. Then as she looked down at Suki, who was in her arms still, she realized that might be a good thing to meet everyone here. Digimon are certainly mysterious and special creatures. The more she heard about how they evolve and change shape the more fascinated she became. She also felt a strong connection with Suki, it was quite hard to explain. She was thinking that the other tamers were feeling that way.
Suki was watching her new Moonmon friend, Luna, and Sunmon. She enjoyed the energy they were giving out. And seeing how happy Nat was made her feel happy too. She was glad that the atmosphere had changed. The earlier sense of confusion from everyone demised and is now replace with a sense of happiness. It felt so good to her and so good that have new friends.
They were both deep in their thoughts, barely noticing that Maki brought up an important fact. It seems her brother was nearby and was willing to answer any remaining questions that she has. The made her more relieved. At last, she can feel at peace. She just hoped that he would arrive soon. Of course, what surprised her most was that there was digital world where these digimon come from. When Suki heard this, suddenly she had a strange image in her mind. It was like she had been this world, but she never seen it. It was such a strange, curious feeling. She looked over at Marica.
“Marica…I would like to see this digiworld too. I would like to know where I came from.” She asked her tamer.
“I…I’m not sure…” Marcia said quietly, she didn’t want to refuse her digimon’s request, but there something about the digital world that she was unsure about.
Then the fact that Harry’s digimon, Rog, said that they have seen a stronger digimon and are not ready go over to the digital world yet. She would have to agree with him. Then Harry elaborated that he was attacked by digimon after they came from the circus the other day. She went over to him.
“You were attacked, Harry. I’m so sorry. I should have stayed with you. You didn’t get hurt, did you?” Marcia asked, feeling guilty.

(All my posts for Haru are going to end up being massive simply because there are five characters to rp and some of the digimon like to talk a lot. Soz in advance. Also, when I add colour I realise just how much effort I put into dialogue. Must. Describe. More.) “Why do I have to be on a lead?” Hope complained. The small salamon was attached by her collar to a long red lead that Haru was holding loosely in his hand. “Because you're pretending to be a dog” Haru replied patiently. He was dressed in jogging shorts and a t-shirts, blades exposed as they strolled briskly towards the signal on his digivice. They'd been in the middle of a group run when Maki's text had came through, so he'd barely had enough time to stop for snacks, let alone get changed somwhere. “Maki wasn't kidding about the number of tamers, huh?” he added, counting the dots again. Two more had appeared since he'd arrived at the park, as if all the tamers and generals in Shibuya were descending on each other.
Hope glowered, unsatisfied. “Well? Why do I have to pretend to be a dog?” she grumbled, glaring back at the three people behind her. “Neither of them have to play pets.” The first was a tall, silver-blonde haired male with purple eyes, wearing a big fluffy coat that looked far too hot for the weather they were in. He was clutching at Haru's arm with one hand as he shot suspicious scowls at everyone around, shooting death glares if people stared too long. The second was a tall, red haired woman in a white summer dress who was walking at a brisk shuffle, head tucked into her chin as she carried two hefty, full plastic bags in her arms. The third was a shorter girl with long silvery blonde hair and light blue eyes, dressed in a dark blue shirt and skirt. She walked with careful, precise steps, her gaze tense and alert.
“ I still do not understand why the future Queen has to wear a lead” Hope complained under her breath. “Because why hide your beautiful features behind a human skin?” Haru asked sweetly, shooting a good natured, rather pleading smile at her. The salamon looked at him for a few seconds then smiled smugly, pushing at her fur with one paw. “You make a valid point, my dear general. I suppose the lead is a small price to pay for *this*” she purred, lifting her head high. The male, a gumdramon in disguise, rolled his eyes. “More like we only have three holosuits and you look like a dog so quit nagging, ” he grumbled under his breath. “Are you saying I look ugly?” Hope snarled shrilly, fur rising one her back. Haru quickly stepped between them, raising a hand defensively. “Gum means that you are the most canine in form, not that you resemble them in beauty” Haru reworded carefully, “Konoha looks like a kid in crazy cosplay, Alice has visible weapons and Gum is a dragon. They'd attract far more attention than you. Right Gum?” He shot a winning smile at the digimon and the Gumdramon nodded, though his holosuit still looked pretty stormy-faced. Hope pouted but said nothing, pulling at the lead irritably as it clung to her collar.
“Um, we're already attracting attention” Konoha stuttered behind them, scurrying to catch up as she plucked at her skin anxiously, “I feel naked in this without my fur - it feels like they're all looking straight at me.” Haru glanced around, noticing a few curious glances but otherwise nothing unusual. Scratching his head, he turned back to her with a shrug “Well, red hair is pretty rare in Japan” Haru admitted, “They probably just see you as a foreigner.” Konoha's eyes widened. “Um...then why did you give me red hair?” she exclaimed in shock, pulling at it with her spare hand, as if pulling it all out might make her more invisible. “Well, you're a flamemon so I figured it would suit you better?” Haru grinned, "You know, fire, heat, red..." She pulled at it weakly a little longer then let it go, pulling the shopping bags closer against her.
The silver hair girl stepped forward, patting Konoha on the back with a small smile. “It'll be fine” she advised, looking around carefully, “No one in this park, aside from Maki, would ever suspect a human nearby was actually a flamemon in disguise. Act like you belong and you'll blend in.” Konoha smiled faintly back, shuffling quickly to keep up as she continued to pluck at the hologram anxiously. “How strong are the people we're meeting?” Alice asked Haru quietly, glancing at Gum as his head immediately perked up. “From what Maki said” Haru replied cheerfully, “They sound pretty fresh to the whole thing. Some of their digimon are straight out of the egg. I bet they're gonna look so cute and tiny!”
Gum rolled his eyes as he looked away from the humans walking around the park to the floor. “Do we have to meet up with these other people?” he asked suddenly in a low whine, shooting puppy dog eyes at Haru, “I'd rather it just be us” He waved a hand vaguely at the rest of the team, eyes fixed on Haru. “Yep, definitely going to meet them” Haru said cheerfully as Gum's face fell, “It'll be interesting to see other people with digimon and it never hurts to make new friends.” Gum's face darkened and he let out a small hiss of frustration. Haru reached out warmly to ruffle the hair of the holosuit. “It'll be good to make new friends. Trust me” Haru replied gently, “Plus one day the digimon will probably be really strong and make for good sparring partners. Fun, right?” Gum's face immediately brightened and he grinned toothily, though he still kept a hold of Haru's arm as if the guy was going to go running off somewhere. Considering Haru was a bit of a fitness freak, that wasn't an unfair assumption.
Haru perked up as he spotted a group of people talking by a tree. If his eyes weren't deceiving him, his sister was among them. “I see Maki” Haru grinned, “and a whole group of teenagers. I bet ten to one they're our tamers.” He waved until she spotted him then broke into a light jog to catch up with them, blades squishing slightly into the grass. He stopped as he reached Maki, smiling warmly at her. “Hey, squirt, how goes it?” he asked kindly, reaching out to ruffle her hair affectionately, “Are these guys must be the tamers you mentioned?" Haru looked between them, hiding his surprise at the two darker guys. It wasn't as if he'd never seen non-japanese before, having lived in Canada for five years, but Japan was so non-diverse it really stood out. His eyes fell to the digimon chattering excitedly around their feet and beamed, eyes lighting up as he quickly looked them over. A quick count made it 5 by his reckoning! Five digimon with four new tamers...Awesome. "Hi, not sure if Maki's mentioned my name.” He glanced at her to check then continued with a friendly, lopsided grin, “I'm Haru Akatsuka, Maki's big brother. Maki said you wanted to talk to someone who knew a lot about the digital world...” He rubbed the back of his hands sheepishly, chuckling. “Well, I'm not that person. I'm the food guy” He took the shopping bag back from Konoha, pulling out a mochi for himself to eat.
“The people who'll be able to answer your questions” Haru added with a friendly smile as he unwrapped the sweet, “Are these guys behind me. The guy in the fluffy coat is Gum, he's a Gumdramon” Gum glared at them then crossed his arms. “The red-head is Konoha, a Flamemon” Konoha smiled nervously, hand shaking as she raised it in a little wave of greeting, almost dropping the food in the process. “The silver-haired girl is Alice, a Lekismon” Alice smiled faintly, though it widened a little further when she spotted the two moonmon. “And” Haru said with a flourish of his arms, grinning widely, “This is Hope. Currently a Salamon” Hope smiled brightly. “Be honored” she said proudly, her voice taking a regal tone as she puffed her chest out and held her head high, “You are in the presence of the future Queen of the Digimon World, High Ruler of the Oceans and Empress of Empyreon. You may bow, curtsy or kiss my paw. Or all three, your choice.” She held out her paw in offering, eyes flicking from person to person.
They paused as Maki answered the many queries regarding the digital world and specifically the ones regarding going there. “Um...you're not seriously going there with just babies are you?” Konoha asked wide eyed. Haru bent down, looking at the digimon. “Moonmon, Sunmon, Kokomon and...” he frowned, squinting at the triangular digimon, “I don't know the machine one.” Hope rolled her eyes, turning her nose up at it snootily, “It's Missimon. A machine digimon” she explained with a small frown, “Which you would know if you were studying properly" She pouted, crossing her paws as she turned her head slightly away. "Sorry...there's kind of a lot to remember” Haru admitted with an embarrassed smile. He rubbed his head, eyeing the insect like robot design as he tried to commit it to memory. “I concur with Konoha” Alice murmured coolly, “If you go to the digital world with your digimon as is, you will be easy prey to any malicious digimon in the area. Only Maki and the person with the Missimon are strong enough to risk it.” Gum nodded in agreement, shooting a disapproving glare over the digimon before him. "Stupid weaklings wouldn't last a day" he muttered maliciously under his breath. Hope rose to her feet, a confident smile on her face. “With that settled, we refuse to take you to the digital world” she said primly, adjusting her collar smugly, “Queen's orders. Any other questions?”

Maki shook her head quickly in regards to Arya's explanation, rolling her eyes. “Nah, they don't “make” them into humans, they just change the appearance” she explained “Like wearing a second skin. You'll see when Haru gets here – all his digimon wear them. Except Hope, maybe.” She grinned at the device Arya pulled out, nodding enthusiastically. “Yep, that's a digivice. It's kind of different to mine and Haru's so I guess it relates to the whole tm...timirs thing. It basically powers the whole digivolution process. Pretty nifty, so don't break it or anything.” She chucked her own into the air, catching it deftly with a cocky grin before shoving it back in her pocket along with her phone. She frowned at Arya's point. “No, the digimon'd become king Arthur. That's how spirits work” she said impatiently, dragging out her digivice again as she pressed a few buttons, “See, when I use my digimon, the spirit possessing me allows me to take on its form and I become a Lopmon.”
There was a bright light and she was once more a brown, squishy bunny with ears too big for its own good. “Ta-da” she grinned chirpily, spinning in a circle, “Right now I am possessed by the spirit of an ancient digimon, giving me its abilities in exchange for my soul.” Her body went limp and her face went blank, mouth falling slightly open as her eyes turned glassy. “I see dead people” she whispered, not blinking as she stared at Arya. “Just kidding!” she exclaimed in a sing-song voice, breaking character to giggle, “Though I am still possessed by a dead, friendly digimon.”
Maki glanced down as her phone beeped again and she read the message. Her brother was in the park, on his way, and all his digimon were with him. “Wow, it's gonna get noisy” she laughed, quickly jabbing at her digivice to remove her digimon form. There was a flash of light, the horrible twisting feeling of being reformatted and then she was her short, child self again. “Oh, he's cool, I guess. Just...you know... Yeah, no, I guess he's alright” Maki mumbled, scratching her head, feeling a bit awkward about the whole no mums thing when she had two to go with, “Sorry you don't have a mum. I'd lend you one of mine but I don't think they'd like that much.”
Hearing her name, Maki looked up to see her brother approaching, dressed from head to blade in running gear. “He's big on running” she muttered in warning to the others, “Do not under any circumstances challenge him to a race. He gets scary.” She pouted sourly as everyone seemed to express their excitement about having someone who could actually answer their questions. “My brother isn't gonna know anything either” she mumbled, brightening a little as he got within distance. “Sup” she said warmly, raising her hand in greeting as he reached out and ruffled her hair, messing it up. Maki smiled warmly at the digimon, rolling her eyes at Hope's introduction. She hadn't really spoken to Konoha, Gum or Alice that much, though they'd eaten together a few times.
She rocked on her heels as introductions kicked in feeling a teeny tiny bit left out that she didn't have a digimon too. Still, she could fly. That was something. Maybe she should just steal a digimon from the digital world. Sneak an egg from the village of beginnings. That would work. Right? Right. “Riiight” she said to herself as Rog asked her about the digital world. “Well, yeah, it's the digital world” Maki shrugged, “It's pretty different to here though. They have a few big cities but the rest is wilderness. And it's all made of data apparently. Like...computer stuff. You get there through this big portal thing, pretty cool, and-” Maki frowned as Konoha interrupted her, a little put out that she didn't get to finish, before a flush of pride spread across her face as Alice pointed out only she and one other person were strong enough to stand a chance.
“Who needs protecting now?” Maki grinned smugly, moving her feet as she took up a heroic pose with her hands on her hips. “It's okay...if you get into trouble I will save you with my amazing powers of flight and escape~” She grinned at them, then pulled out her phone as Hope initiated the apparent question-answer session, already feeling the boredom kicking in. Maybe if they got too absorbed, she could sneak away and go climb something.
