Walking led them into a more covered area, something Justice was thankful for, as it seemed the temperature here - wherever they were - was much more comfortable than being in the open, since it was a hot day today in this part of the Digital World. The trees they were walking among that provided shade were the strangest things he'd ever seen. They were not green like he was used to. Many of them had leaves that were turquoise, or in some cases purple, with orange or yellow blooms just visible through thick leaves. The terrain him, Vee, and Gummy changed from lush grass to forest floor, with various upturned roots Justice almost found himself tripping on regulary. Barely any sunlight was getting through. The trees of the forest was so packed together that the leaves alone were practically blocking out all sunlight, allowing only small shafts of it to hit the ground and illuminate a path. The sunlight that was getting through however, was beginning to give Justice a headache. Either that, or perhaps it had something to do with the amount of assignments from school he had been doing today.
Rubbing his fingers across his forehead, he heaved a sigh. "How much father is it to whatever place you two found the other day? We've been walking for like twenty minutes already."
"Aw come on, you've been sitting on your butt all day," Vee argued, stopping in front of Justice to put his hands on his waist. "A little exercise won't kill ya!"
Justice tossed his hand into the air in exasperation. "I mean, true. But you could have warned me that this place would be a hike."
Gummy shook his head with an slightly amused expression. "Heh, I knew humans like Specs would get exhausted over the simplest exertion. They're all brain and no muscle."
Hearing that made Justice shot a glare at the purple dragon, who then returned the glare. He wanted to retaliate verbally, but decided not to. Instead, he took a few steps forward, drawing a line on the dirt with his foot, going horizontally from one end to the other. The two of them turn to each other and said nothing, just giving him a puzzled look.
"With the way that we're walking, I'm assuming that wherever we're going to is just up ahead, right?" Justice questioned.
"Yeeeah," answered Vee. "Why'd you ask?
"Then how about a race, to see whether or not if spending time with the books is making me slack off on exercise." He was looking directly at Gummy when he said that.
"Oohh, now we're talking!" Vee said, walking up to the starting line. He did a few leg stretches before getting into position. Gummy only smirked at the notion.
"You won't even know where we're going unless it hits you in the face. Literally. But..." Gummy moved to the starting line as well, placing both of his paws and arching his right foot firmly to the ground. "I accept the challenge!"
Justice twisted a strand of hair around a finger, satisfied with the answer. Usually Gummy would only ignore the notion of a challenge, thinking it was pointless since he assumed he would come off the winner. But this time was different. Wondering why, he brushed it off and got into position on the starting line. The chances of winning were about as slim as toothpicks against his Digimon, since they were physically stronger, faster, and more agile than a human, but screw the odds.
"Alright then, three..."
"Two..."
"One!"
Just like that, they were off, kicking up some dirt along the way as they sprinted off at full speed.

"...Where the hell are we?!"
A voice echoes through the forest, coming from an emerald haired woman partially up a particularly massive tree, tired, angry and lost. She begins her slow descent back down, the leaves of the vibrant forest still obscuring the sun and therefore making it unclear as to how long she and her Digimon have been here, unable to find their way in these foreign woods. The thick foliage prevents escape from the air, leaving her to sit down on a decently low branch to talk to her partner, a witch-like Digimon dressed in red and a multitude of belts, perched atop a broom and seeming less irritated and more bored. "I can't find a way to get our bearings. Face it, looking for that so-called "ghost" so you could beat it up got us in this mess."
"Yeah, 'n you can't even hear it and don't think this kinda thing happens, so..." Dorothy shrugs in response, simply shaking her head. "And we ain't goin' after it any more. Not worth the effort of chasin' a dumb, disembodied voice."
"Especially one I can't hear." slipping her notebook out of her bag, the green haired woman proceeds to flip through the pages to pass the time, occasionally stopping at one of her old sketches to glance at it. "That said... It's good to be back in the Digital World, with Rosewood and everything after all that... Stuff in the Human World. I'm almost thankful it's so quiet these days." She sighs, the sounds of nature relaxing despite the fact that the two are, indeed, almost completely lost. "Wait, do you hear something? Not that... Ghost or whatever, but other people?"
"Yeah? Maybe they're just as lost as us." Dorothy takes a few steps off towards the source of the sound, and Alice follows after climbing down, the large vegetation and unending trees of the Server Woods pleasant, but ultimately something she's become somewhat tired of for now. "Or maybe they're here to jump us." The witch Digimon laughs as she mounts her broom and heads down one of the many branching paths, trying to follow the sound.
Trailing along behind her, the green haired Tamer shakes her head, uncertain as to why Dorothy's so ready to fight. Maybe getting lost like this stressed her out, who knows. "We should probably ask if they're friendly first, but if you want to fight with them, make sure it's a friendly sparring match more than anything else."

‘Justice, what the hell were you thinking?’
He shook his head, trying to concentrate on the rhythm of his shoes on the forest floor. Running was usually such a solitary sport, and Justice preferred it that way. He took track back in middle school, and it was starting to show due to him being inches away from getting in front of Gummy, thought the two were a couple of feet far away from Vee, who was in the lead so far. The blue dragon propelled from the starting line like a bullet to the two of them.Perhaps being apart of the Combat Species had its perks.
“C’mon slow pokes!” Vee shouted at the two. “I’m only even half trying so far!” He turned around to the two of them, sticking his tongue out and pushing his eyelid down with his finger, taunting them before dashing off farther. This only made Justice and Gummy made the two only run harder, focusing all of their energy to their feet. It was getting a bit harder to run due to the amount of heavy vegetation, plus the visibility was getting more darker the more they dashed into the forest. One can’t try to exert themselves without expending more energy. Fortunately for Gummy, he had another way to not exert his feet any longer. “That does it...” he said to himself. Flapping his wings, he leaped off the ground and took off, dashing past both Justice and Vee.
“You goddamm cheat!” yelled Justice. Vee concurred as well. “Yeah, now fair!”
Glancing at them, he extended his paw and raised a middle finger before taking off. “Suck it nerds!”
Any , the race was almost over. The vegetation was getting thinner and thinner until a fairly large tree overlooking a spacious clearing came into view. Flying at full speed, Gummy reached the bark with no problem, landing on a branch. “Heh, I win.”
Vee came up to the tree second, sliding down on the ground as his hand touch the bark. “Second place!”
Justice shook his head and slowed his pace into a jog.. His leg muscles burned was already panting in exhaustion. He arrived at the base of the tree five seconds after Vee did, crotching down at the bark. “Looks like...I lost.” He breathe heavily. One thing was clear to him: there was no beating a Digimon when it came to a foot race.

The two only get more unsettled by what they hear at first, perhaps misinterpreting what's going on. "Is someone being chased by Digimon? Ugh, sounds like it... Guess we should at least make sure they're friendly... But probably not." As Alice gets closer to the source of the sound, she gets more irritated and worried about the well being of whoever is being chased, readying her Digivice and cards without a second thought. "Get ready to fight.... Hey, wait up! Ugh, what are you doing?!"
"Hey, if ya say someone's in danger, we shouldn't be dawdlin' 'round like a buncha dorks!" Dorothy, while excited about the prospect of a brawl, can't help but feel a bit nervous. What if the human is hurt, like how Alice was before? Unlike her Tamer, the witch Digimon seems dead serious about this, picking up speed on the broom and soon overtaking the green haired woman's pace, the world soon becoming a blur of green and vibrant petals to her until she breaks through into a clearing, spotting the group and perhaps getting ahead of herself and her own Tamer, a confident, aggressive grin on her face as she imagines herself likely looking cooler than she actually does, a winded and frustrated woman with green hair following after the witch. "Gyahaha, what are you two doin', chasing after some human? Mind if I take a look?" She comes to a stop next to Justice, already preparing an attack, but Alice immediately shouts her down.
"Enough, Dorothy... Ugh, Why are you so excited these days? I'm trying to..." She, too, looks to Justice, her expression more along the lines of befuddlement, having not caught any of the conversation. As a result, she mostly just wants to stop Dorothy from doing anything too foolish. "I'm Alice, my partner is Dorothy, I want an explanation before she does anything reckless. Sorry for the sudden introduction." The green haired woman shakes her head, her eyes briefly closed as anxiety runs through her mind. What a bad first impression, she thinks to herself. "We don't mean you any harm... It looks more like he was chasing after his own Digimon." She knows it's going to be an awkward moment if the mystery Tamer isn't being threatened, but that would at least be pleasant.
"...Wow. How 'bout ya relax a lil', Greeny?" The witch in red cackles, her feelings conflicted. On one hand, there's a relief that the other Tamer, the one that supposedly has twin Digimon, is safe. On the other, Dorothy clearly lusts for some sort of battle, almost disappointed.

Recovering a bit of his stamina, Justice leaned his head back against the tree. The little competition was fun, despite the odds being against him. It was nice to finally get some exercise after being buried in books for the past two days. The burning sensation in his legs nearly subsided. Getting up on his knees, He took a look around at the place they were in. It was clear at this point, they were deep into the forest, so deep in fact that he'd forgot which place they came from.
"So... what'd you two brought me out here for?" As he questioned them, a cold draft blow through the trees. He couldn't help shake the feeling that the forest they were in was...off for some reason; spooky to be precise, almost like they were being watched by something. Before one of them could respond, the sound of ruffles in the bushes can be heard. Turning to where the sound was coming from, the three spotted what appeared to be a witch Digimon on a broomstick coming at them at full speed. Behind her was a green haired woman, who was a little ways away.
Not taking to what she said kindly, Vee went into a defensive stance, while Gummy jumped down from the tree, standing alongside his brother as the witch Digimon stops right next to their Tamer, who was preparing to either to attack him, or the two. It would have been a fight right then and there if it hadn't been for the woman. Calming the Digimon down, she introduced herself as Alice and that the witch Digimon, whose name was Dorothy, was her partner.
"Ahh no worries." he responded, getting up. "I'm Justice and these two knuckleheads right here are Vee and Gummy." Gummy gave a nod at the two while Vee gave a squinting frown to Dorothy. He didn't like the fact she'd accused he and his brother of even daring to harm their Tamer.
He continued. "Well I was not really chasing them per say, we were having a foot race to this place because..." He paused, rubbing the back of his head. He titled his head towards his Digimon. "Wait why are we here again? You guys didn't tell me earlier because you wanted to keep it a secret for some reason."
"Oh!" exclaimed Vee, turning away from Dorothy. It'd looked like he was having the stare down of the century with her. "The other day, while me and Gummy were out exploring. I heard someone telling us that we should come down deep within the forest to train since we can reach to the Champion level much faster if we do."
"Wait, who was this somebody?" Justice questioned, his brow lifting in confusion.
"I have no idea. It was...more or less a voice."
Snorting, Gummy finally spoke up. "I mean we're here now, so lets start sparring. I wanna get strong as fast as possible so I can get back at that Commandramon"

"...Apologies for our behavior. Being stuck in this forest for hours does that to you, I guess..." Alice finds nothing to lean against, so she mostly just stands there for now, slipping away her cards and Digivice and feeling like a fool. At least things didn't devolve into chaos, she thinks to herself. "You're not the only one who was chasing some kind of disembodied voice. Dorothy wanted to find the source and kill it dead."
"Yeah, yeah... Ain't worth the effort if it's leadin' not just us but you guys in circle." Dorothy sighs, perhaps expecting more boredom given how the situation's been diffused so quickly. "Makin' me on edge, like I wanna fight somethin'." Despite her disappointment, there's a large, toothy grin on her face, still excited about the thought.
The tall, emerald haired woman takes a moment to catch her breath one last time, not looking too much like someone who would run frequently, and she briefly questions the slightly strange nickname of Justice. Better not to dwell on such a question. "Doesn't matter how we met, it's good to meet you. I'm mostly out here researching Digimon. Someone has to do it, after all." Though tempted to take out her notebook, she restrains herself from doing so, taking a few steps back upon hearing Gummy's comment. "Well, I've only had the opportunity to have Dorothy go against another Tamer's Digimon once before..." The look on Alice's face is one of curiosity, a clear indicator that she's just as interested in letting Dorothy fight. "I think it'd be useful for her to get some more experience with that."
"Well, why didn't ya say so earlier?!" Dorothy floats off some distance away from the pair of Tamers and the two Digimon, probably to make sure things don't get dangerous for the humans, and cackles. "I'll totally spar with ya guys if just plain ol' fighting's outta the question. Just don't cry if you get wrecked." The witch points with a confident stance, energy in her voice, her finger aimed at the twin Digimon. "Haha, this is gonna be fun..."
"You know what they say about overconfidence." Alice decides to stand next to Justice rather than near her reckless Digimon, slipping a book out of her bag and immediately proceeding to write in it. She's silent, but it's clear from the sheer amount of pages of text, diagrams and sketches of Digimon and the like she flips through that the notebook is just a little over halfway full as she absentmindedly talks to the other Tamer. "What brought you out here? Sorry if I ask too many questions sometimes... I find it interesting to learn about other people's experiences here in the Digital World."
And with that question asked, she writes something down.
Hopefully some sparring matches, friendly or otherwise, will boost Dorothy's confidence after constant near losses. Even if I am to blame to it for some extent, perhaps more directly than other Tamers. There's a rift between us that needs patching, and this might hopefully be the first step.

Quirking an eyebrow, Justice glanced at Alice who stated that they've been lost in this forest for hours, which was strange. Vee, Gummy, and him have been in this forest for about twenty minutes, so he didn't understand how could her and her Digimon could get lost. Maybe they were in the other side of the forest. Either way, the two looked exhausted.
Researching Digimon? Now there was something Justice didn't expected to hear. The humans he met so far in the Digital World were either there to go on an adventure or get away from the human world to escape their problems. Before he could ask why, Gummy's comment made Alice step back a bit, probably a bit uncomfortable. "Dude! You can't just go ask people you just met if they want to fight. That's rude."
"Why not?" Gummy rebuffed. "Looking at her Digimon, she'd make a great sparring partner."
To Justice's surprise, Alice seemed to agree on letting her Digimon spar with his. Watching Dorothy fly off a couple feet to gain some distance. He couldn't help but agree with her; seeing that Dorothy looked a bit bored, this would be good for all three of them. "Ok, ok, fine. But on one condition: no fightin' dirty, and if one of ya'll looks like you're gonna get hurt real bad, I'm calling it off."
Vee only slightly nodded while Gummy let out a sigh, a little bit annoyed that he can't go all-out. The two then ran to where Dorothy was until they were about ten feet in distance from each other. Vee started to dart his eyes at both his brother, and the female Digimon with a worried look.
"What are you thinking?" Gummy inquired, noticing how Vee was acting strangely.
"Nothing," Vee murmured. "Just remember to stick by me, and remember to keep your distance if things look rough."
"I got it, I got it. Don't turn into my mom, jeeez.
In truth, Vee was worried. The last battle the two were in was with Tadayoshi's Commandramon , who left an impression on him since Gummy was badly injured in that fight. Since then, he started to wonder if he was strong enough to protect him during the heat of battle. He couldn't begin to fathom if something were to happen to him again. Using both his hands to clap himself in the face, removing any doubt he was thinking about, he got into his battle stance; Gummy followed suit.
"Alright, let's a have a clean, fair fight!" His voice was radiated with resolve. "Lady's first if you're ok with that."
When Alice asked Justice what brought him out here, he started to ponder in thought for a moment before answering.
"Well I'm out here since these two dragged me out here because of this forest. They didn't tell me what we were doing; they just told me it was a surprise. Now I see why... But it's alright though. I had no classes today, so anything beats a whole day of doing nothing am I right?"

"Well, then..." Alice can't help but smile a little as she looks to her partner, still writing in that notebook of hers. "Let loose a little. Not too much, I'd rather not see this forest get set on fire." The green haired woman waves at her partner absentmindedly with her pen in her hand, predominantly focused on other things. After she's done writing, she looks to Justice with a slight smile, one that isn't entirely forced, but seems to be to some extent. "I get that it's hard to juggle life in the Human World with life in this one, trust me. There's so much to see and do it's kind of... Overwhelming at times."If this were a normal combat situation, Dorothy would have already charged something up, but for now, she readies a spell without anything particularly underhanded going on, Mostly to shove the rookies away than actually harm them. "C'mon, bring it! I had to go through a lot to get even a lil' bit strong, so put your all into it or ya ain't tryin'!" Her tone of overconfidence is obvious even to the Tamers, the wide, jagged grin on her face a fair bit more threatening than her words. The moment the Veemon and Gumdramon approach, she attempts to push Vee back with a blast of enchanted wind, a green circle of energy at her hands. " Baluluna Gale!"For now, she's obviously toying with the pair of Digimon or going easy on them, but perhaps she's doing so on purpose. It's hard to tell.
"Digimon are inherently fighters, from what I understand. Most of them, anyways. Always ready to adapt to a situation or danger..." The green haired woman closes the book, that smile on her face remaining. "And yes, anything beats doing nothing, and I assume studies and schoolwork kill a good chunk of your time... What are you working on, exactly?" With a small chuckle to herself, she decides to look at the brawl beginning in the clearing between Justice's twins and Alice's own Digimon.
Dorothy uses Baluluna Gale in Vee's direction.
BALULUNA GALE
A circle of green runes quickly forms in the user's hand, and is dispersed with a blast of air pressure akin to a blade or hammer, slashing anything in its' radius or punting them away with pure blunt force.

"Yeah, the same thing goes for you guys." Justice added, leaning against the tree. "The last thing I want is Smokey the Bear hunting us down to the ends of the earth if this place is set ablaze." He placed both his arms over his head in a causal pose.
He glanced over to Alice, who was scribbling something down in her notebook. She did say she was out here researching Digimon, so maybe she was writing down an entry on Vee and Gummy, or the sparring match.
Justice shrugged at what she said. "Yeah...it's still kind of overwhelming to be honest. Trying to balance two life's is not how I'd imagine it to be at first."
The two Digimon were now on combat alert as the witch Digimon was preparing a spell. Her comments only made Gummy fired up even more. "What a scary face, I like it!" The base of his tail started to flicker in flames, expression his excitement. Vee however didn't like the look on her face. Something about that screamed menacing to him. Before he could do anything, Dorothy unleased a torrent wind from her hands, aiming it at Vee.
Since the attack came to him just as she cast it, there was no time for the blue dragon Digimon to dodge it, as it send him flying back.
"Hold on!" Gummy stretched out his tail and launched it at his brother, who grabbed it in response against the wind.
"Thanks!" Vee complimented. "Your tail's by no stretch of the imagination."
Gummy frown, in response to that awful pun,he quickly launched him with his tail, propelling him to Dorothy.
"Vee Headbutt!" he tucked his head down, preparing to collide with the witch Digimon head on.
Whether if his brother's attack was successful or not, Gummy followed to the side, jumping a few feet in the air and spinning rapidly, causing flames to appear around him. In a rush he dashed at a rapid pace, creating trail marks. "Fire Vortex!"
"Yeah, school takes a huge chunk of my time." Justice said, sighing, looking out at their Digimon. "My major is Meteorology, which is the study of the Earth's weather. I've had that dream since as long as I can remember. When I was eight, I was at summer camp when I saw my first tornado. It didn't hit anywhere since it stayed out in the water. When everyone was running to shelter, I was just standing there looking at it; taken aback by it. Not out of fear, but out of amazement."
His face turned red. "Looking back at it now, It's kind of embarrassing now that I think about it."
Vee uses Vee Headbutt on Dorothy.
Vee Head butt: Charges at the opponent to unleash a powerful headbutt. One post cooldown.
Gummy uses Fire Vortex on Dorothy.
Fire Vortex: Jumps up in the air and performs continuous somersaults at speeds fast enough to generate flames to delivers a knockout blow from his Shippodzuchi when it lands. If missed, Gumdramon will become dizzy for a turn. Two-post cooldown.

Soon enough, the green haired woman stops writing, briefly looking at the sparring match before her eyes gravitate towards Justice. "To let an opportunity this exciting slip away, though, that would almost be a crime. An entirely new world, the kind of thing people would give their life to experience... Hah, sometimes I wonder if it's not healthy to think about it this much." It's easy to see that most of her notes are on the Digimon she's seen over her travels, from small, cutesy creatures to horrific abominations the likes of which it's clear she's been through a fair bit. She looks back to the fight soon enough, just in time to watch Dorothy get struck by the attack. Hit by the speeding Veemon, the witch loses balance on her broom, but doesn't fall over, using her hand to push herself back upright with the ground while the other clutches her stomach briefly. "Ow, nice... But that ain't the hardest blow I've felt. Good for a rookie, but not good enough for me!" Though she's caught off guard by the Veemon's opening attack, she reacts to the Gumdramon's by quickly floating off to one side in a halfhearted attempt to avoid the swing and readying what seems to be a harsh, unpleasant red rune in her hand, attempting to stamp it onto Gummy like a brand. "Mark Of Golachab!" Normally, she wouldn't call out her attacks like this, but out of respect for weaker opponents, giving them some sort of edge against a more experienced combatant is something she gladly obliges to. In the end, though, she gets slugged by the Gumdramon's hammer, the purple dragon's slightly stretchy nature catching her off guard, and falls off her broom, no longer in a pleasant mood as she stands up, one hand clutching her torso. "We all have an event that defined us like that, no worries. Heck, yours seems pretty tame compared to a few I've heard." The emerald haired woman lies somewhat, mostly referring to her own past, but perhaps not mentioning that is for the best. No one needs to know of her less savory, more criminal urges, save for her own partner. "That said, it's not embarrassing. It's just one of many things that make this place so interesting. The people here all come from different places, backgrounds, and so on... And are linked by being aware of the Digital World. It's kind of our little secret~."
Eventually, the emerald haired, tall woman asks another question. "Would you like to see or know any of my notes? It goes without saying it can be dangerous out here. But I guess it's good to talk about life back home, too. I mostly just... Do what I need to stay afloat." Again, she seems to stop herself from really saying much. That is, until Dorothy decides to chime in midfight. "Ya mean that thing where you dress up in that frilly outfit 'n serve people at that cafe?" Dorothy's response causes Alice to cover her face with the notebook briefly in utter embarrassment before snapping a response back at her. "He doesn't need to know that I work at a Maid Cafe! Nobody does!"
Dorothy is struck by both Vee Headbutt and Fire Vortex, and attempts to apply Mark Of Golachab onto Gummy in retaliation! She's also knocked off her broom, meaning she can't fly for now.
MARK OF GOLACHAB
Dorothy strikes her opponent with her hand, and utters a curse, branding the opponent with a burning rune filled with all manner of curses and scorching their flesh, readying the victim for further assault.
Deals moderate damage and increases all fire-based damage received for two posts. Two turn cooldown.

Justice only nodded in response, letting Alice's words slip in as he turned his attention to the fight at hand. She was right about one thing. The prospect of discovering a new world and exploring it would be almost a crime not to do. Why, if he had never encounter the Digital World at all, and if he was given an opportunity to explore it, he would go in a heartbeat. But still, if there was a chance of him not coming back, then he most certainly wouldn't take that risk if it meant leaving everything he's ever known behind. He felt blessed that the latter part didn't happen to him, and he's able to go across between two different realities like an hour long drive. It's easy to get lost in this confusion known as life after all. Snapping back from his thoughts, he saw that both Vee and Gummy's attacks were successful, making him stand up in excitement. "Nice work, you two!"
The two twins landed a few feet apart from one another, boxing in Dorothy from the left and right. Vee was still on high alert mainly due to the fact that she was a Champion level, so letting his guard down after one good attack would certainly spell defeat. If only if that same logic applied to his little brother...
"So. was that good enough for you?" Gummy said, wiping his finger across his nose in a cocky manner. "I don't give a rat's ass if you're stronger than me. With the two of us together, there's no way we'll lose!"
Vee rolled his eyes in response, getting out of his battle pose and looking at his brother in disbelief "Did you not learned what happened when we face that human's Commandramon? Sure he was a rookie like us, but his battle experience alone was too much for even the both of us."
"Of course I haven't forgot," Gummy shrugged, "but we've gotten better since then."
"But she's a C h a m p i o n." Vee added in a serious tone. "She has the power to curb stomp us if she wanted to."
"And you're saying we should just give up, just when thing's are getting good!?" Gummy hissed, his teeth snarling a bit in anger.
"No I-" Vee paused. He didn't wanted to admit that he didn't want to see his brother get hurt again like what happened last time. The two would start to argue on who was right and who was wrong, leaving themselves wide open for attack.
"Ah for sure, go ahead." Justice responded. He was quite curious about her notes anyway. She was more knowledgeable about Digimon than him anyway, so a little learning wouldn't hurt him; he does it in school anyway. Tilting his head as to what Alice meant by staying afloat, he didn't want to engage on what it was any further, until Dorothy blurted out, saying that she works in a café.
"Well...you kind of just admitted to me just now." he chimed in, laughing. "I don't think it's that embarrassing to be perfectly honest. Well maybe if you were in high school or something, but hey; you gotta do what you gotta do to make that money. Trust me, I know that experience all too well."

"Sure, I could kick your face in, but where's the fun in that? 'Sides, I've been in fights with the odds stacked against me. Ain't fun, but ya gotta do it..." Dorothy rolls her eyes as the two argue, using the time to call her broom back to her and hop back on, deciding to give herself some space and fly up just enough to avoid being close, struggling to do so due to the thick canopy of branches above her. It's also evident that she's not the most durable of Champion Digimon given her response to being struck. "Lil' jerks hit hard for Rookies, though..." "It took a lot for Dorothy to Digivolve to Champion for the first time. In fact, the situation was similar to this... Except outright hostile." The green haired woman muses, running a hand through her hair as she looks up at her Digimon, perhaps remembering that moment. "Up against an overwhelmingly powerful foe, my life at risk... Perhaps our Digivices and Digimon are empowered by our emotions. I wouldn't know enough about that, though, so it's all just theories based on experience. So many mysteries..."
She makes an awkward laugh, her train of thought having become rather dark, and she feels a need to step away from that subject. "I wouldn't do that, though. I'm sure every Digimon experiences it differently... And yes, I work at a maid cafe...""Not even the most embarrassin' thing I know 'bout her." Commenting from her supposedly safe height, Dorothy leans back, now in more of a casual sitting pose as she charges something up in her hand, a ring-shaped band of energy forming in her palm as she looks down at Vee and Gummy with a cocky grin, still focused on the conversation as she thinks she's safe despite gently lowering herself to a range the pair could hit if they tried. "Gyahaha, you humans are weird sometimes... Never seen a Maid Cafe 'round in the Digital World, maybe that's a good thing."
"Right, right, and you're the one who's interested in human culture and behavior, even if it is mostly surface level." Alice replies back with a snarky tone at her own partner before flipping to a few pages of her notebook to share with Justice, keeping silent for now as she searches through pages. Several of them depict Digimon, and she stops at what is written down to be Dorothy's Rookie stage. Tsukaimon, a small mammal like Digimon with wings for ears that looks... Grumpy, to say in the least. There's detailed notes about general concepts regarding Digimon, particularly the three primary types and a rough draft about a Digimon's stages of evolution that seems to still be in progress. She soon flips pages to reveal a decently detailed sketch of Gummy, something she was undoubtedly working on recently. "So, what do you think?"
Dorothy readies a use of Spell Charge.
SPELL CHARGE (RAM UPGRADE 1)A white magic circle with a hollow interior like a ring is summoned by the caster. This acts as an amplifier for any and all spells performed next. It burns through a fairly large amount of energy to do this, limiting the amount of uses such an ability has, but the effects are undeniably more powerful.
Provides a passive effect that enhances her next attack in a different way depending on what attack is used:
Poison Storm blinds for two turns. Baluluna Gale does greatly increased damage (and impact). Aquary Pressure requires no time to charge, and can be used immediately after Spell Charge if needed. Shardallion Lens protects up to three targets from projectiles. Armagus Flare ignites for two turns. Mark Of Golachab's effects last for 4 turns.
Loaded attacks and RAM upgrade attacks are also included, and will be added as needed.
Can only be used three times per thread. Cooldowns: Mark Of Golachab: Still in effect (1/2)

"Well if that's the case, then give us everything you got!" Gummy yelled, cutting his argument with his brother short. "If there's one thing I hate, it's Digimon that like to hold back against those that are weaker. In a real fight, that don't mean jack shit!" Just like Dorothy's tone earlier, his voice was projecting overconfidence, a sign that his fighting spirit was at an all-time high. If they (him mostly) could defat a Champion leveled Digimon at full strength, there's no telling how strong he'll be when he reaches Champion finally.
Vee on the other hand, only sighed in disappointment. "How are we related again?" he mumbled to himself. On one hand, yes, he did wanted to spar with the Champion level Digimon to see where he's at strength wise. Judging by her action to their attacks, they were getting somewhere. On the other hand if she wanted to, she would wipe the floor with the two of them, but judging by her comment, she seems contempt with enjoying the match. But still, there was something about all of this that just shook him the wrong way. Was it his doubt not being strong enough to protect his little bro, or Justice for the future? Perhaps both.
"Empowered by our emotions, huh?" Justice repeated, titling his eyes away from her and to his Digimon. It occurred to him: besides the time when he first met them, he was never once in danger that required his Digimon to evolved. He's only heard about evolution, but has never seen it, really cementing that he was still a rookie at this compared to Alice.
"Oh you think we're weird?" Justice replying to Dorothy on her comment about all humans being weird. "I've encounter weird Digimon here as well. Take for example my blue homie there: he eats Cheetos like it's cereal, even pouring milk in it as well."
"HEY!" Vee yelled, his face turning slightly red. "At least it's not embarrassing than that 'sneeze' in class one time. Remember, you were congested and tired that day. You felt a sneeze coming so you leaned back. When it finally happened, the force of the sneeze was so hard, it send your face hurling at the desk and you bounced back up like a basketball."
Gummy burst out laughing, falling over on his side with a thump. "HAHAHAHA! OH I REMEMEBER. THE TWO GUYS BEHIND YOU LOST THEIR SHIT, AND WHEN THE TEACHER ASKED YOU WHAT HAPPENEND, ALL YOU COULD SAY WAS '...I sneezed.'"
"Ack!" Justice couldn't come up with any retort; Vee got him there. He could only look away in embarrassment. The two twins continued to laugh for a little bit until they got back into battle positions.
When Alice showed Justice her notebook, Justice could only become wide-eyed as she flip through the pages. She was a really good artist! He was most certainly intrigued by the detailed notes about Digimon, some of them looked like they could fill a whole book. She flipped to the recent page she was working on--a rather amazing sketch of Gummy to say the least. "Oh snap, this is amazing! It looks exactly like him! I like to sketch as well."

"Ya want me to quit foolin' 'round? Then so be it, lil' guy. Don't come crying to me when it hurts so bad ya can't tell ones from zeroes!" Perhaps telling her to let loose wasn't the best idea, her grin widening to an unnatural set of razor sharp teeth from ear to ear, her pupils compressing into needle like slits as the magic circle at her palm begins to complete itself, glowing a toxic, sickly neon purple. "You humans may wanna take a step back, this stuff ain't pleasant to anyone."Alice takes a few steps back, and almost pulls Justice back to do the same when Dorothy unleashes her attack, a blast of purple smog and dust almost immediately able to be discerned as toxic, difficult to avoid but only directed at Gummy due to his overconfidence. The burst is even more intense thanks to the augment to her attack prepared earlier, the Witchmon cackling madly. "Ya want within an inch of your life, you're gonna get an within an inch of your life!" Even then, she's holding back, but just barely: She could have set Gummy alight and simply reveled in the torment, the mark currently on his body able to amplify the intensity of nearby flames... But not wanting to kill anyone, she's ultimately decided to not do that. "The whole... Emotion thing is just a theory, though. I suppose a more complicated explanation would involve some sort of mental and perhaps even invisible digital link between you and your partners. There are even cases where it goes the other way as well, but that's mostly reserved for Biomerging, a rare phenomenon I've never actually seen myself, but heard of a few times..." The green haired woman shakes her head, and sighs, muttering something about needing to talk to other hobbyist researchers a bit more as she watches Dorothy closely, a more neutral expression subtly turning uneasy. Her mild discomfort at Dorothy's aggression is soon interrupted, however, Justice's comment having successfully lightened the mood to the point where she can't help but stifle a laughter with her hand muffling it. "Okay, maybe there are worse things to admit. But that's okay. I'm sure that I could probably remember something embarrassing I did if I put my mind to it."Even Dorothy has lost her composure despite her bloodlust, almost tempted to laugh herself but stunned at the fact that something got her Tamer to laugh in the first place. The second incident has the witch laughing to the point of leaving herself vulnerable to Vee as she lowers herself to the ground. As Alice shares her notes and rolls her eyes at her Digimon's lack of dignity, she simply nods at the comment about her drawings. "Well, they have to be relatively accurate. It's not my main hobby, but it helps make this whole research thing easier." She can't help but be a little curious, though... "What exactly do you draw?"
Dorothy directs Poison Storm at Gummy, with the additional effect from Spell Charge. Poison Storm blinds for two turns due to Spell Charge.
POISON STORM
Sprays what basically equates to fast acting Tear Gas at foes or in an area, be it small or large, to cripple their combat capabilities and prevent them from fighting back. At this point, it's potent enough to actually cause lasting damage to humans, something that worries both Dorothy and her tamer greatly. Neither of them can deny its' effectiveness, however. (The magic circle color for this attack is purple.)
Prevents the opponent from attacking for one turn, and blinds them for 1 turn after that. turns Only does minor damage. 3 turn cooldown.
Cooldowns:
Mark Of Golachab's effect fades. Spell Charge has two uses left.

For some reason, seeing the Witchmon's sinister smile send shivers to Vee's spine. It was enough to get him out of the comedic mood he though everyone was in a few moments ago. There was something about her that seemed...chaotic to her. Hearing her warn Justice and Alice to take a step back only further nailed the blue dragon's fear: she's plan one of her strongest attacks in her arsenal, and his little bro was in the crosshairs. Gummy however, was not fazed at all, he was rather excited that the witch Digimon didn't have to handicap herself any longer. "Now this is what I'm talking about!" he said, showing off a toothy grin. After Justice was ushered by Alice to take a few steps back, did Dorothy unleashed her attack onto Vee; it was blast of purple smog heading to Gummy direction. The purple dragon was taken aback for a second, seeing that the attack was moving at breakneck speeds. He attempted to jump out of the way to no avail; the attack was too fast. In the smog, his eyes immediately started to burn, like he had just looked at the sun. "Shit, I can see!" Immediately, he ran out of the smog as fast as he could, not wanting to inhale any of that stuff. He skid on the ground, laying flat on his butt. Perhaps he bit off more than he bargained for. "Bro, are you ok?" Vee shouted, running to his brother's aid. "AAAHH MY FUCKING EYES! FUCK, FUCK, FUCK!" Gummy yelled in pain, coupling them with his paws. From what Vee could see, his sclear was red, and tears were coming down his face due to how painful the stinging was. "She is SO going to get it, bro. I'm done playing around!""Well until, let me handle this." The Veemon ruffled his brother's forehead, and immediately when Dorothy had her guard down, probably laughing at the embarrassing moment Justice had. "Hoping Kick!" Channeling his strength to his feet, he aimed a powerful kicking barrage at the witch Digimon, intending on getting some payback. Justice meanwhile, was surfing through his phone to show Alice what art he does. "I'm a graffiti artist. I know, I know, it's kind of a crime to vandalize property, but when I was living in the States, I used to find a lot of places that haven't seen a lot of attention if you know what I mean." He then showed her photos of the many places he's tagged, from abandoned subway tunnels, to hidden alleyways. "But still, there are some cities and communities like Chicago for example that set up walls dedicated to tagging in a public space, where people can freely preform graffiti street art on them without vandalizing. They're not common, but they exist."His talk was interrupted by Gummy yelling in pain. Worried, he turned his attention to see that his Digimon was on the ground rubbing his eyes in pain. "Oh shit, what the hell just happened?" Gummy gets hit with Poison Storm, blinding him for two turns due to Spell Charge. Vee attacked Dorothy with Hoping Kick
Hoping Kick: First kicks an enemy into the air, then jumps to deliver a barrage of concentrated kicks before kicking them to the ground. Two post cool down.
