Name: Leon Xavier Salt
Alias: "Lee"
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Height: 6'00"
Weight: 172 lbs
Alignment: Neutral Good
Birth Date: August 12
Western Horoscope: Leo
Birth Place: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
Skills/Talents:
Music: Lee is a classically trained pianist, and is well versed in basic music theory, as well as a significant measure of more advanced analysis, and jazz theory language. He also doesn't have a bad voice.
Cooking: Lee isn't great at cooking per say, but he's not the worst. He can certainly impress those not expecting him to have.
Customer Service: Lee works a day job at a conbini and has learned how to handle the exchange of money, as well as how to interact with customers.
American Education: Lee attended a prep school for most of his years in Philadelphia. His general knowledge reflects this, and he has basic knowledge of sciences and math. Though his Japanese is good enough to live, English is his first language. He also has a better sense of American history than most residents of Shibuya, but doesn't know much about Eastern history.
Backpack Contents:
[li]One black pen, one blue pen, one red pen, and a highlighter[/li]
[li]A multitool with 10 components: pliers, wire cutter, knife, nail clippers, scissors, flat head screwdriver, cross head screwdriver, bottle opener, tweezers, and file[/li][/ul]
Digivice:
Personality: The first part of Lee's personality that is of note is how meek he is. He's extremely shy and averse to interacting with other people, and as such will never go out of his way to engage with a stranger in conversation. Even those who know him need to sometimes prod him to get any sort of meaningful words to come out of his mouth. Despite his quiet and reserved nature, he's actually a rather intelligent person, and is fairly quick on his feet for being physically untrained. Another reason Lee tends to be relatively quiet is because his Japanese isn't the best. He's only lived in Japan for a year and a half, and is still picking up on the more finer points of grammar and syntax, and from time to time needs to ask for help with vocabulary. If someone can speak English, he generally prefers to use his native tongue as he's more comfortable with it, though he is making an effort to adjust to life and culture in Japan.
Lee's love of music, specifically jazz music, is a defining factor of his personality. He has significant skill on the piano, and often attends jam sessions in Shibuya. From time to time he'll take a pick up gig to play for a wedding or some other event, however, he hasn't found an outlet to turn his passion for music into a living yet, a factor which makes him rather depressed at times. Other popular media also catches his interest, and he enjoys watching television dramas and reading novels, although he's not a particular fan of manga or comic books.
Justice is important to Lee. Seeing a kid getting bullied or an animal being hurt brings out an adamant side of his personality that is rarely seen otherwise. Although he's quiet, he won't hesitate to step into a confrontation if he thinks its the right thing to do.
Although Lee isn't not interested in romance, he doesn't really feel like its a priority at the moment. His philosophy is that he'd rather be making many close friends at this point in his life, and that devoting so much of himself to a single person would be unwise at such an unstable portion of his life.
Appearance:
Lee's premature grey hair stands out, especially among other youths in Japan. His freckles and green eyes accentuate his western features, and overall its hard for him to blend into the crowd while out on the streets of Shibuya. At work, he wears a green polo and grey slacks, but while off work he usually wears a hoodie or a button down shirt and jeans. Sometimes Lee wears a pair of cosmetic glasses, which are a dull grey with thin rectangular frames. His hair is often messy, as he tends to think shaping it is a waste of time in the morning.
FaceClaim: FIRE EMBLEM: THREE HOUSES • ashe • Leon Salt
Personal History:
Leon Salt was born to Lisa and Dante Salt in the city of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. At the age of 12, his mother disappeared. After a desperate and taxing search, the case of her disappearance was declared cold, and life went on without her. His father was a businessman who often traveled, which meant the young man learned to fend for himself, cooking and surviving while becoming involved in the music scene. He skipped two grades in school, as his teachers found him to be incredibly intelligent. In reality, Leon's intelligence is about average, but being alone and not having many friends meant he was constantly reading and studying of his own accord, and his success was just a measure of his own hard work. He shocked the community when he chose not to go to college, and began working at a seven eleven after graduating at age 16. Over the course of three years, he was largely forgotten by those he attended school with.
Meanwhile, his father revealed to him that they'd be relocating to Japan. Leon was able to live in japan as a dependent, and enjoys life in Shibuya. Once again he's living on his own, due to the fact that his father, for most of his life, had been harboring a secret family in Japan which had resulted from infidelity while on a business trip. His father spends most of the time at the other family's house, and Leon knows nothing about them, choosing to be complacent in living in his father's apartment until things change. He works full-time at none other than a seven eleven in Shibuya.
Digimon Name: Pepper
Default Form: Kotemon (Rookie)
Gender: Male
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Skills/Talents:
Music: For a Kotemon, Pepper is rather good at music and singing.
Swordsmanship: Pepper is skilled at using blade and staff based weapons, as well as unarmed combat.
Athletics: Pepper is a skilled athlete, especially when compared to Lee.
Personality:
Pepper is a Kotemon, and as such is an ambitions swordsman, training constantly to fulfill a natural desire to become one of the greatest swordsmen of the digital world. Unlike many other Kotemon, Pepper was influenced by his tamer's constant playing of music, and as such incorporated that interest into his identity as well. That being said, Pepper is far more outgoing that Lee, and often will sing the names of his attacks, or perform bombastically, being much more aggressive with music than Leon is. The courageous nature of the Dragon's Roar blood flowing through Kotemon makes Pepper a brave soul, though his preservation instincts are strong, and in the face of, say, a sinister mega level digimon, he would end up hiding behind his tamer.
Though his actions may sometimes be curious or eccentric, his battle skills are strong. Pepper can often make wise battle decisions without the help of Lee, and the two of them together are a strategic force of note. As Pepper digivolves, his personality can alter itself, though a common thread is his confidence, for better or worse. If he plays into his bestial elements, he becomes more outwardly confident and even flamboyant, but playing into his draconic lineage leads to more reserved confidence.
Fresh
Species: MetalKoromon
Appearance:
Attribute: Free
Families: Metal Empire/Nightmare Soldiers
Type: Machine
Fighting Style:
Not very well. As MetalKoromon is a Fresh level digimon, it mostly only is capable of light defensive and reactionary abilities. More often then no
Abilities:
Jamming Powder (Active): Releases iron grains to cause temporary disorder in the opponent's AI, then flees while the opponent is confused.
Digivolves To: Kapurimon
In-Training
Species: Kapurimon
Appearance:
Attribute: Free
Families: Metal Empire/Nightmare Soldiers
Type: Lesser
Fighting Style:
Kapurimon represents a significant growth in the general skill of Pepper, although not by much. While Pepper now can perform maneuvers more suited to direct combat, the lack of legs and arms really puts a damper on versatility, and he would still rather stay out of confrontation.
Abilities:
Filing Breath (Active): Kapurimon opens its mouth and releases a flurry of iron fillings at the opponent. Though far from fatal, the attack can prove annoying and provide an opening in the targets defenses.
Horned Tackle (Active): Kapurimon launches itself off the ground in a full body tackle attack. The horns on its head make this attack more effective at dealing piercing damage rather than blunt force damage.
Digivolves From: MetalKoromon
Digivolves To: Kotemon
Rookie
Species: Kotemon
Appearance:
Attribute: Data
Families: Dragon's Roar/Nature Spirits
Type: Reptile
Fighting Style:
Not very well. Mostly light defensive and reactionary abilities.
Abilities:
Combo-Hit (Passive): Each post in which Kotemon lands a blow its attack power increases by 10%. This caps out at three posts in a row for a total increase of 30%. Any post beyond that simply maintains the increase, and one post without landing an offensive attack resets the bonus to 0%.
Fire Men (Active): Kotemon swings its sword down while infusing it with draconic data, causing it to catch on fire. The approach of his kendo stick is supposed to lead to a strike on the top of his opponents head.
Thunder Kote (Active): Kotemon swings its sword in from the side while infusing it with electricity. This attack can cause light paralysis in the limb of whoever it strikes, though the effectiveness of the paralysis is largely dependent on the size of the limb being struck. Cooldown of two posts.
Spin Attack (Active): After twisting its body, Kotemon uses its own weight to quickly perform a spinning sword attack, which can hit enemies in all surrounding directions. The force of the spinning makes this attack more effective than normal. It has a cooldown of one post.
