The day dawned sunny as Mikazuki stretched himself awake and dusted off the dirt from his back as he got up. Try as he might, the feeling of sleeping in the dirt was not nearly as weird to him as it was to his colleagues. In fact, Mika was mostly used to rough ground considering how often he went camping in remote areas as a child. Sure it wasn't as comfy as a sleeping bag, but at least they were safe. That being said, his belly was rumbling and he needed food.
Fortunately a certain mass of fur sleeping on a tree above him was there to help him.
So without hesitation, Mika took a few steps forward and shook the tree, forcefully awakening Lopmon and causing it to fall down with a surprised yelp, only to be caught in Mika's hands. "whaaajushapenwebeataaaaaa..." The Digimon slurred, trying to fetch himself awake, but his Tamer was having none of it and just pet its head. "Wakey Wakey, sleepy head!"
Lopmon was not pleased.
"That isn't how you wake someone up, Mikazuki. Plus, I'll have you know i need at least 14 hours of sleep per day and i barely had 7." he complained, to which the boy-giant just looked at him with an indignant expression. "That's too much sleep, Lop-Chan! You only need 8 hours at most, according to most doctors in the world! Plus, we need to find food and since you're the resident expert, you're coming with me." The boy mockingly commanded with his usual sunshine smirk already starting to take over his face as the Lopmon nested itself in his head again.
"...You do realize we're not in the human world, right?" Lop-chan's caustic tone went completely over the Nakamura heir's head and soon enough he started looking over the surroundings to see if they weren't being followed. "Ok, so where should we head to, Lop-chan?" came the request for directions, prompting the bunny to start sniffing around for a bit before forcefully steering Mikazuki's head towards the northeast. "There should be a few Passion Fruit vines nearby. We could catch some of those."
"Shame we don't have any sugar to put in them." the boy contemplated but obliged, following in the designated direction his Digimon pointed towards.
