The secondary effects of the GIgasmon's Red Mode were quick to manifest themselves to the WarGrowlmon, as the smell of charred metal and a burning sensation came fast to his body as soon as he tried to grab a hold of the rocky giant, but even so he did not back off and certainly did not let go. Eventually his efforts were rewarded by a good shot, which in any other situation would have surely given the target some pause. Not Gigasmon, as Gio soon found out when the combined weight of two massive fists collided against the back of his head, sending him face first straight to ground below and down to his knees, blurred vision and struggling to get up. Dio wasn't having a much better time either, as following the Ranamon's (sligthly confusing yet uncomfortable to him) taunt he'd finally begin to notice the feeling of...something slowly growing over him. First his feet, then his wings. He would have given this more attention were it not for the fact the Ranamon was also quick to blindside him immediatelly after by digivolving into a Calmaramon easily thrice his size. And while his claws probably did reach his target there was little he could do to stop the massive tentacle from snatching him out of the air. "-you hag!" He gasped out, indignity and poison dripping from his usually monotone voice. The demon tried to break out of her grasp, but other than getting one arm free there was no escaping for him at the moment. All the while Carlos could only look in dismay as his partners seemed to be getting overwhelmed but a few moments into their first fight against the D-Reaper today. He grit his teeth, hand tightly grasping at his D-Arc. Had this been some time ago, he would have probably been relegated to watch as things unfolded, unable to be anything other than a passive observer at worst and a living power source at best. Not anymore, not if he could help it. He'd swipe another card into his D-Arc, the last one the small device could muster up without shutting down for the day. If this didn't help out his partners, at the very least it would impede their enemies. Not a moment after swiping the card, dark clouds would soon converge above the five of them, the booming sound of thunder ominously hanging above their heads... Gio takes damage from both Gigasmon Red Mode and his attack, while Dio is succesfully grabbed by the Calmaramon! As for Carlos, he swipes one last card...
WG-31 Card Name: Terabyte Thunderstorm Type: Environment Rank: Platinum Duration: 3 Post Effect: A thunderstorm rages, lightning striking the surrounding area constantly. Lightning strikes can damage those not able to wield its power and leave them disoriented from the force of impact. Thunder/Lightning type moves are strongly boosted in power.
[RAM Upgrade Giga Passive] Axon Charge:
Due to Gio’s rather odd upbringing and traces of his old demon lord data, his body and very core react to physical trauma in an different way. On top of an increased tolerance to pain, every time Gio receives damage from a named move he stores a part of the attack’s energy within him, giving him a charge. He can store up to five of these charges. Every charge gives him a 5% increase in damage to all of his named moves, though he loses a charge for every two turns without receiving damage. Furthermore he can spend all five charges to create a medium ranged explosion around him causing heavy damage to up to two targets, but can’t gain charges for the next two turns.
Axon Charges: 2/5 Damage increase: 10%

With the Petaldramon reverting in an Arbormon, Demi had to let go of his grip on him. Seeing the evil Digimon run away from him, the SaintMeramon kneel on one knee and his lance began moving to try to pinpoint the Arbormon for a Burning Shot. However, the Arbormon was quite fast and was getting further and further away with every second. None the less, Demi was going for the shot until he heard his tamer. "Demi!" The fire giant quickly turned his attention to Desmond who was now only a few meters away. "Let him go, we won't be able to catch him." While the SaintMeramon was faster than his previous form, he was still not fast enough to get to the nest before the Arbormon. Unfortunately, that meant that the D-Reaper's ally will alert anything that is in that nest. "Let's go find the others." Desmond then said. However, he wasn't actually sure where the rest of the party went. The plan that he made was more flawed than he thought. There was no time to come up with another one though. Not being able to see any sign of Silence or Carlos' team, the blond tamer took a second to breathe and also for his partner to do so as well. Demi dropped the V-Saber making disappear upon hitting the ground. The fire giant lowered his bionic arm to the ground and the Frenchman jumped into his hand. Carefully lifting the human until he was at his shoulder, Demi began looking around him in hope of seeing any clue on where his companions were. The could go closer to the nest on their own but that didn't sound like a clever thing to do, especially with the Arbormon surely going to alert everything that is in that said nest. However, they were wasting precious seconds by not doing anything. Desmond sighed and was about to say something when he saw dark clouds and the booming sound of thunder from a bit further away. It was clear that this wasn't natural. Both tamer and partner nodded to each other and they began making their way toward those clouds. That small moment of not attacking would give his body just a tiny bit to recover from the Harvest Havoc. He could feel his body slowly healing itself from the inside out. Desmond got off of Demi's shoulder so that the fire Digimon could hold him in front of his torso so that he wouldn't fall down and break his neck. Hopefully, they would be able to reach whatever summoned those clouds in the few next seconds.
Combat Log
- Demi let the Arbormon go! - The V-Saber disappeared!
- Demi and Desmond are going toward the dark clouds! - Demi's Reforge ability kicked in!
Passive: Reforge: SaintMeramon can now regenerate his armor over time as his body of fire slowly reforged the armor from the inside. If he doesn't use an attack,SaintMeramon health slowly heals by 5% every turn.

To a normal opponent, Silence's display might have been one to fear.
She was, after all, putting every bit of her power on display. A massive show of light, a spiking data signal that could be felt throughout half of the continent. And as it faded, what would remain would be a powerful figure, one whose presence alone might tempt foul hearts to bend a knee... but that was the issue.
This was the D-Reaper. There was no heart to sway.
And, in fact, the Horn Striker's assault hadn't halted in the interim. Perhaps when Silence was blinded by her own display, her own transformation, she might think that the beast had simply vanished from its spot... but that couldn't be further from the truth. As Silence transformed, the Horn Striker had simply sprinted closer, and by the time OmegaShutmon appeared, he was already in position to attack.
A push off his legs: at practically point-blank range, the agent, a 'mere' Horn Striker, would unleash a powerful uppercut, intent to connect right to the base of Silence's jaw, right near her neck. And should it connect? Well, she might be surprised at just how effective it was. This wasn't to say that Gio's blast was ineffective! As the WarGrowlmon staggered from that shot, eyes watering, the Gigasmon was forced to fall on his back foot as well, gritting his teeth as he managed to brace himself on his legs. It was this brief reprieve that prevented the rock golem from immediately trying to finish its target off with another powerful shot.
Instead, all he could manage to do was stomp forward, and try and pin a foot against the WarGrowlmon's back. Problematic, yes, but hardly battle-ending... but Dio? Well, he'd find himself in far more dire straits!
"A hag, am I?" She chuckled, pretending to be offended at the thought, tightening that tentacle around him. "Well, maybe then I won't keep you around! Hang on tight... Titanic Tempest!"
Yeah, Dio was going for a ride. Not only was the squid bigger, she was also ominously in the shape of a drill - and the reason for that soon became obvious. The Calmaramon's humanoid figure would sink down, while the rest of the body would start to spin. Faster and faster, intent on building up a ridiculous amount of momentum, before she would send Dio hurtling towards the ground like a spiked football!
Well, such was the intent. But with that thunderstorm cast, the unaware Calmaramon was struck in the side, forcing the tentacle to convulse - and send the NeoDevimon off tumbling in a random direction, away from Gio and the Gigasmon. "Ooooow!" She groaned, body poking up - glaring daggers right to the card-swiping tamer. "You that intent on getting involved, bud?!" And as for Desmond, he had the blessing of positioning. Drawn by the lightning storm, he was able to make an approach without aimlessly wandering through the area - the most direct path, and the least amount of odds of running into another agent.
He did stumble upon one - a wayward Scout - but it would do little more than hang above the two of them, following along as a set of eyes... as the two would near the ongoing fight, on the side nearest Gio and the Gigasmon.
Horn Striker cares not for theatrics. Uppercut time. Gigasmon finds it hard to act after nearly having a hole blasted in his chest. And even Calmaramon can't enjoy a Titanic Tempest without someone ruining her day. A D-Reaper Scout joins Desmond's scouting party.
Relevant passive of all D-Reaper Agents:
Overflow Detection: All damage done to Mega and Super Mega targets is classified as a severe hit.

To a normal opponent there would of been a degree of fear, but this she didn’t know. She didn’t understand how the reaper worked; she didn’t know what kind of threat it was in the long run. She didn’t even have a clue how powerful the threat of the reapers were past the stories she heard that would always be blown out of proportion. And so with the Reaper charging as they did, during her digivolution she had found her gaze filled to the brim with that of the green giant. She had a few moments before that punch hit her square in the jar and she felt severe pain flash through her body as she was lifted up and off of her feet. She’d grunt as she tumbled backwards a bit and skidded along, her sword coming up quickly. She could barely feel her jaw, if anything it was slacking. She could feel some cracks along the inside of her jawline and a sharp pain to one side. Was it broken? The air around her was already freezing cold, but she deigned to make it worse for the agent. From her sword tip all the way down to the pommel an energy wave of icy deadly intent rolled on out of it. Keen on hitting the D-reaper directly in the center of it’s body. But that wasn’t all that the OmegaShutmon had at her disposal. If this agent hit as hard as it did, even more so than before in her lower level then she had to step it up quickly. She felt her data warp and twist, and from within herself a massive ball of energy appeared above her. A huge, dense ball of heat, magma… and pain. With a single flick her her hand she’d send this dense ball barreling down at her foe. Her intent was quite clear. Using her mauseulm cross to slow the target enough to where she could vaporize the cable that was attached to them. Even if she fully missed her intended target it could likely hit the cable behind them. But she wouldn’t get cocky, if anything her stance read loud and clear that she was taking this enemy very seriously. A single strike had broken her jaw, how many more strikes like that could she weather if she couldn’t break it’s connection to it’s home? Or vaporize it completely. It was a tricky gamble, one she wasn’t sure if it would work or not. But she did know that if the other’s arrived she’d tell them to move on. They couldn’t dally and it couldn’t focus on more than one thing at a time without some severe repercussions. Log: -Silence was hit by the uppercut, it broke her jaw and cracked some bone. Ow. -Silence used Mausoleum cross nearly point blank. -Silence used the card DR-17 Wargreymon: Terra Force Passives: Hypothermia|Combat Passive: This ability projects a large freezing air effect around omegashutmon. For each posting round that an individual is within this range this slow increases by 5% up to a maximum of 30%. Staying outside of this range or using fire to reverse the freezing effect is possible.
Knight of the Mausoleum|Combat Passive: This digimon's body is freezing to the touch and the digimon itself leaves behind frozen tracks as though it had flash frozen each step. Additionally this digimon is unaffected by the cold itself making Ice based moves ineffective against it. While fire moves deal increased damage due to her frozen body.

Desmond and his Digimon partner were moving as quickly as possible toward that storm. As they got closer and closer, a D-Reaper Scout saw them. At first, Demi just kept on going completely ignoring the Searcher. However, Desmond followed the Scout with his eyes for a second and tapped on the fire giant armor. "Demi, stop." He said in a stern voice. Demi slowed down and looked down at his tamer who was climbing onto his giant shoulder pad. He looked at the Scout that didn't seem to do anything but just look back at them. He knew that this thing most likely already revealed their position to the nest but there was a chance, even as tiny that it was, that it did not relay their position just yet. "Grab him." The blond tamer whispered hoping that the D-Reaper Scout wouldn't hear him. Demi quickly let Desmond get off of him and wait for him to safely land on the ground before hearing him whisper a few more words. "Grab that cable and bring him down." The fire Digimon nodded and did his best to turn around and use his huge bionic arm to grab onto the red cable hoping that he would be fast enough to do so. If he would be able to get a hold on that cable, he would then yank it toward the ground in front of him. His goal wasn't to slam it into the ground but just to get him lower and also maybe rip the cable out from whatever was holding it to the Scout's body. The Frenchman would stay about three meters away from his partner to not get in his way. "Demi, burn it." His partner didn't nod or anything but did understand his tamer telling what to do next. Either it would be successful in bringing it down or not, Demi would then try to use his Breath of fire attack on it. Inhaling a puff of air, the fire Digimon exhaled a cone of fire from his mouth. If the Scout would be still flying, it could easily escape the flames he spewed. If it was right in front of him, then it would maybe get burnt, badly. They might be wasting their time trying to get rid of one Scout but it was better to do that hoping that it would keep him hidden just long enough for them to join their allies into whatever situation they were in. Desmond kept looking away from his partner and the D-Reaper Scout hoping to see who or what was causing the storm. He knew that he had to get there quick but first, they would have to get rid of that Scout. If the Scout would be to get away or just get deleted, their plan would be to go on toward the storm. If they were lucky, they wouldn't face another one of those pesky Searchers. Combat Log
- Demi tries to grab on to the D-reaper's Scout with his left hand and pull him toward him! - Demi used Breath of Fire! Active: Breath of Fire: SaintMeramon can spew a breath of intense fire at close range. It is much stronger than a fireball but can only affect things that are in close cone radius. He can hold on the breath for a maximum of 5 turns, each increasing the heat but it takes that long to recover. It has a cooldown equal to the number of turns the breath lasted.

Were it not for the fact that Gio's senses still were a bit dulled from the previous strike, he would probably be counting his blessings that the Gigasmon was not able to capitalize on his previous attack just yet, opting instead to simply plant his foot against the mechanical dragon's back. The weight from the golem was quite noticeable, despite the ringing still going through Gio's head, but there was something else he could hear now. A loud booming, thunderous sound echoing above. It didn't take much for him to realize what the most likely source for the clear storm forming above them was, and it took even less time for him to act on it. His arms would stop trying to push himself up from the ground momentarily as their armor seemed to open up, revealing a row of small, glowing bullet shaped projectiles resting inside both arms. They didn't stay there for long, as they soon shot right out, aiming to blast right against the Gigasmon. "Fall!"Dio was not as lucky however, and he knew it. Being at Calmaramon's complete (lack of) mercy, there was little he could do as she painfully tightened her grip on him and began to...spin? Would have been almost amusing to see had she not taken him along for the ride. The ensuing seconds were nothing short of confusing and indignant to the demon, as all he could see was the entire world becoming nothing but blurry lines, followed by a loud and bright flash of light, before he was let loose and sent flying. While luckily he didn't find himself being slammed at full speed against the floor, he was sent quite some distance away from the others, the Neo Devimon soon found himself bouncing and rolling on the red ground before finally coming to a stop. Battered and dizzy from all the spinning, he slowly rose back on his feet before he started making his way back on foot to the battle. This whole ordeal had frankly been more humillitating than physically painful, sure, but for someone like Dio those two might as well have been interchangeable! Meanwhile back on the battlefield, Carlos felt somewhat conflicted. On the one hand, he had (mostly) kept his partners from harm for a moment. On the other, the giant cephalopod-esque woman was clearly not thrilled with this turn of events, and she knew the one squishy human in the general vicinity was to blame. Truth be told, there was a slight feeling of accomplishment, if not pride to not only see his tactic pay off, but making Calmaramon angry enough to forget about Dio, if only momentarily. Carlos would have gladly taunted her further, trying to goad her into rushing him but...he had already learned his lesson in trying to talk down homicidal digimon. Specially those of the aquatic variety. As such all he did stand his ground, trying to seem as unfazed as possible, his entire body tense and more than ready to run if needed. Speaking of running however, Dio would have almost have made his way back, one clawed hand outstretched at the Calmaramon that was glaring daggers at his tamer. "Leave him out of this!" Empowered by the storm, the demon's arm glowed a deep purple, electrical arcs and sparks crackling around it before he'd release a wave of electrical energy at the giant squid. Despite taking some damage from being stepped on and thrown, Gio and Dio retaliate Plasmic Salvo and System Shock respectively, both attacks empowered by Carlos' card!
Plasmic Salvo: Fires off a salvo of missile shaped plasma projectiles out of his arms. Causes medium damage to a single target and lowers their defense by 30% for a turn. 3 Turn Cooldown.

Furthermore he can spend all five charges to create a medium ranged explosion around him causing heavy damage to up to two targets, but can’t gain charges for the next two turns.
Axon Charges: 2/5 Damage increase: 10%
System Shock: Charges up power within his arms, releasing a relatively short ranged (40ft) electrical arc from his hands. Deals heavy damage and lowers the enemy’s defense by 25% for two posts. Three post cooldown

One solid contact was all it took to take the OmegaShutmon off her feet. The bone was cracked, nearly shattering on impact as she was sent skidding away from the agent, and the Horn Striker was ready to press on with its assault. Tucking its head down, it started to sprint forth, intent on trying to land another square blow on the Shutmon.
Except, this time, an opening wasn't going to be so easy to create. Silence gave a slash, aiming to slice right through the agent - and the Horn Striker willfully thrust forth its left arm, letting it get fully severed by the effort. The limb would fall, congealing into a red goop, the agent merely staggered as it sprinted on...
... Only to come head-first with the conjured fireball. Literally head-first: the agent's head, back, and upper torso would be taken apart by the blast, only leaving the lower back standing up on its legs. The Horn Striker couldn't move... but even in this situation, it didn't cease. The top of its body started to bubble, the red mass taking shape once more as it was fed through the cable. This was far more than simple healing.
Left alone? It would only take a few seconds for the agent to reconstitute itself. 'Stop'?
The D-Reaper Scout gave a click as that order was mentioned - and would hang right above both Desmond and Demi, carefully looking at their positions. In fact, the D-Reaper Scout didn't serve a combat purpose: even with its cable grabbed, the corrosive material burning at the hand of the SaintMeramon, all the agent did was fly right up to Demi's face, and stare into him, eye to eye. Whether it was the cable or the body itself, it wouldn't even flee if it was washed over with flames.
After all... this was useful information for the nest. Well, there was that - and there was the fact that it was stalling Demi and Desmond from joining the fight, proper. And Gio might have looked like he needed some help.
Stalled as the Gigasmon was, after all, he still stood above the WarGrowlmon, and any motion the lizard took was right there for the golem to see. He didn't even seem too perturbed about the storm above (or perhaps he didn't notice) as he'd finally move to tense his fist. One good shot at the back of the head was all he'd need - hm? What was that mechanical noise? With those missiles fired, the golem surrendered his tact, raising his arms to block, gritting his teeth underneath that veil. He could no longer be accurate - and he couldn't take a half-hearted measure against this foe.
So he would press through, arms bruised and beaten, as he'd take one step forward, and with a small jump, aim to drive the elbow of his right arm square into the center of Gio's back. That would be nasty if it hit dead center!
The Calmaramon, still with her wits about her, grit her teeth as she squared her attention on the tamer. At least for the moment, Dio was far and away out of the fight - and the opening made the water-type grin. She'd slip closer, and would tense to snap a tentacle over in his direction... only to hear Dio yell over his shoulder. A ranged assault, at this timing?
"Tch!"
She'd turn and change course: as the electricity would be surged in her direction, she would try and take advantage of Dio's desperate charge, spewing forth an acidic, black ink from her mouth, intent on striking the demon down with this odd projectile. At her size, though, that electrical blast would easily surge through her body, the spirit forced to slam its tentacles into the ground, both to brace itself and to try and ground the current!
"F-fine then... you'll be a treat enough for me!"
Horn Striker is regenerating. Yup. They can regenerate from that.
The Scout observes - even as its reduced to ashes.
The Gigasmon is starting to get enthused about the fight - and here comes the pain!
Calmaramon uses Acid Ink, trying to at least trade damage with this haughty imp.

Silence had to admit that the Horn striker’s attack hurt like a son of a gun, even if it didn’t feel like a proper attack all it took was a basic attack from them to nearly shatter her jaw. She could only imagine how it would be if it was able to get more than one strike on her, or if it was able to continually wail on her without her able to fight back. She snorted as the striker continued it’s deadly course. As it lost it’s arm and hand. As it lost it’s head, back and upper torso. It was unable to move at the moment but that bubbling didn’t reassure her that she had stopped it; the bubbling seemed like it was going to restore it from the damage she had done to this agent! Growling at the base of her throat the omegashutmon swiftly moved around the agent and without even thinking she’d bring her sword around in a bruta arc. The target? The cable that was connected to the agent still. If she severed that it’s regeneration would stop. But that would still leave a good chunk of the body left, she didn’t know how much of a body this agent needed to fight nor did she care. To her, understanding this now. There was no such thing as overkill with these agents. Even if it reconstituted itself in the few seconds; even if it regenerated before her sword sliced through it’s cable. Even if she didn’t manage to slice through the cable. There was another attack that the agent would have to deal with. The cone of ice that bellowed out of the shutmon’s damaged maw; making her wince in pain as it hopefully engulfed the striker in a way that would cease it’s healing completely. Or at the very least damage what was getting repaired entirely! She'd have to talk to a certain doctor later about setting her jaw if she wasn't able to heal it in combat! Log: -Silence uses her sword to try to cut through the cable. -Silence uses Artic Whisper to try to finish off agent. Gio did not waste a single second, as soon as he heard his missiles loudly striking against the Gigasmon he'd immediatelly would roll to the side, turning to face to the foe that was still standing above him, and the wargrowlmon would then attempt to finally get back on his feet... ...or at least he would have, had the Gigasmon not been a mere inches away from flattening him with his elbow drop. The dragon barely had any time left to raise up his arms to try and absorb some of the impact from the attack. A loud clashing sound would come as the massive elbow smashed against him, the metal on his arms denting and bending from the force of the impact, even part of his metallic chestplate gave way slightly against the sheer force. A loud growl of pain escaped Gio's mechanical maws, but even in pain he wouldn't let his enemy go unpunished. The blades along the sides of his arms glew a deep crimson, the dragon gritting his teeth as he aimed to dig those blades deep into the Gigasmon's chest, the possible pain and burning that could come from being into contact with the golem's red plaque be damned. As for Carlos, he found himself backing away rapidly as the Calmaramon began approaching him, but luckily for him Dio arrived just in the nick of time to stop her approach. Not as luckily however, she was quick to the draw and immediatelly retaliated by spitting ink. Despite seeing it coming, Dio did not want to risk slowing down in the slightest, lest his foe tried to go for his tamer a second time. As such he grit his teeth and did his best to keep going, only slowing down a bit as the ink collided with him head on, the corrosive sustance burning against his frame as he kept running. Regardless of the pain this did little to slow him in the end, red plaque still growing on his wings and leg aside he wasn't nearly as battered as his brother was yet, and as such he continued his reckless assault against the giant squid, claws glowing a deep red as he began slashing wildly in her general direction. Surely between all the swipes one would hit her eventually. Or several. Gio tries to block (but still takes heavy damage from) Gigasmon's attack, before trying to trade with Rending Blades. Dio meanwhile is damaged by Acid Ink and attempts to attack Calmaramon with Bloody Claw Barrage.
[RAM Upgrade Giga Passive] Axon Charge: Due to Gio’s rather odd upbringing and traces of his old demon lord data, his body and very core react to physical trauma in an different way.
Axon Charges: 3/5 Damage increase: 15%
Rending Blade: Slashes at the opponent using his Pendulum blades with blinding speed. Deals medium damage and has a 1 turn cooldown.
Bloody Claw Barrage: His claws glow red with energy as he charges forward, whilst slashing madly in front of him, leaving a small red mist on his wake. Each individual slash does relatively small damage, but the sheer amount of them in such a small time frame makes this a dangerous move. Said red mist will buff any ally that comes into contact with it, raising the damage of their next attack by 30%. Three posts cooldown.

Bloody Claw Barrage: (0/3)

With the D-Reaper Scout dead, Demi looked at his tamer to see what they should do next. Desmond took a good look at the charred remains of the Searcher before nodding. They did what they could do here, time to see what is going on under those dark clouds. The fire giant kneeled down once more to let his tamer climb on his left hand and then stand up carefully. Both of them shared a moment of silence to look if there were more Scouts around before running toward that storm that wasn't too far away now. With each heavy step, the blond tamer was getting more and more worried about his allies. When the Arbormon went toward the nest, he did not see any of his team near that nest. That meant that the plan didn't work, they most likely did not make their way in, yet. Luckily, Demi did not feel that same sense of worry. He just wanted to get closer to that storm as soon as possible. However, it would be lying to say that he wasn't scared. He saw how that Petaldramon was strong and if the other agents of the D-Reapers were as strong, if not even stronger, then they were in big trouble. But he had faith in his teammates and most importantly, in Desmond. He knew that his tamer would lead him to victory. Little did he know how the Frenchman was feeling right now. Without saying anything, the Digimon and human made their way toward Carlos and his team without knowing. As soon as they would go closer, Demi was the first one to notice the battle between a Neo Devimon and a Calmaramon near someone that must be Carlos judging by the white hair. A bit further away was a Wargrowlmon that was trying to hit a Gigasmon with his blades. It only took another second for Desmond to be able to see the battlefield. The blond tamer eyes scanned the two ongoing fights trying to see who needed their help the most. Desmond froze for a second being undecided before hearing Demi grunt. No time to think, he had to make a decision for his partner. "Let me here." The Frenchman sternly said as Demi lowered himself to let him get off safely. Taking a deep breath to think, he deduced that the devil Digimon would most likely be Dio and that the dinosaur was Gio. Now, Dio was closer to Carlos so he might need the help the most. However, Gio was on the ground trying to fend off the Gigasmon. Desmond bit his lower lip and pointed at Gio. "Go help Wargrowlmon. Now." Demi nodded and began making his way toward Gio. Being eighteen feet tall, it was very easy to see him coming. This was exactly what Desmond wanted, the fire Digimon was to get the evil Digimon's attention away from the poor Gio. As for himself, the human also made his way but toward his fellow tamer. He wasn't sure if he would be of any help by his side but he still had a few cards left and knew that he could use them on Dio as well. But for now, both Digimon and Tamer made their way toward their allies hoping that they would get there fast enough.
Combat Log - Demi is making his way toward Gio! - Desmond is making his way toward Carlos! - Demi's Reforge ability kicked in! Passive: Reforge: SaintMeramon can now regenerate his armor over time as his body of fire slowly reforged the armor from the inside. If he doesn't use an attack,SaintMeramon health slowly heals by 5% every turn.

The Horn Striker would not get a chance to fully regenerate.
The cable would be cleanly sliced - and that blast of gold air froze the agent in place, freezing it solid, and affixing it to the ground. It couldn't move, and if Silence were to give the agent a solid strike, it would crumble apart like a cheap ice sculpture (though it still wouldn't dissipate into data). Save a red streak across her blade, a corrosive material left on the metal where it came into contact with the cable, she'd avoid further damage from the agent.
That said, she was right on track towards the center of the nest, and her efforts had created a lot of noise. That Arbormon, approaching from behind, had seen an opportunity during his retreat - and the moment the agent fell, perhaps when the wolf took a moment to relax, he'd take the opportunity to slide back into his form as a Petaldramon. Except, this time, it didn't appear with a flash of light, but rather a muted red glow, the spirit activating its own Red Mode like the Gigasmon before.
And from that range, several yards out, the Petaldramon would open its beak and lash its tongue out, intent on snaring it right around the wolf's waist. If successful, it would immediately start to try and draw Silence backwards! This Gigasmon really wasn't much for named attacks, was he? Was this an impact of Red Mode, or was it just purely a bruiser type?
Not that it mattered: the impromptu wrestling move did a lot to put Gio on the back foot. The sudden outward slash would succeed in pushing the monster's left arm away - and it would hang limp after the effort, data dripping past its fingers. The Gigasmon went all-in from the start, and the damage was starting to build up...
... Hm, another fighter? Might as well: with the Wargrowlmon still prone to the ground, the rock golem would try and slip his still-usable arm down, and grasp around the Wargrowlmon's bicep. Should he get a good hold, he'd hurl the lizard right towards the SaintMeramon, as an impromptu, sharp, heavy projectile! Seriously, Dio thought he could just rush in like he'd done before? The Calmaramon narrowed her eyes - and reminded Dio just what he was dealing with. Her upper body once more sunk into the lower one, and her body started to spin like a drill - those tentacles now acting as effective whips. Even before Dio could come in to get a decent cut, she'd have to charge through an effective 'buzzsaw'!
... And it seemed the Ranamon's patience was running thin as well, the red plaque starting to form from the bottom of her body, quickly moving to cover across the top.
Stupid little imp... I'll show him...
Calmaramon initiates Red Mode - and uses Titanic Tempest to try and keep Dio at bay.
Gigasmon cares not for his move descriptions.
And Petaldramon initiates Red Mode, and attacks Silence from range.

A solid strike the horn striker would get, there wouldn’t be any hesitation with the agent. Her sword coming down in a brutal over the head swing. She wasn’t going to risk it coming back somehow, she had stopped it’s regeneration and she was grateful that she was able to take care of it. Though she had to admit that the damn thing hit hard and whatever damage had been done to her… And her sword well. Made her think. She furrowed her brow and step forward, ready to continue onwards. There were likely more agents if she went deeper and she couldn’t lose steam. While her guard wasn’t lowered it certainly had a hole in it, figuring that her allies had taken care of enemies from behind she wasn’t expecting that muted red glow. It wasn’t much of a warning, given that this place was already red. She wasn’t sure what to pay attention to here but she’d turn slightly… Only to have her waist wrapped around she felt herself being drawn back almost immediately. Her feet left the ground pretty much right from the get go but that didn’t stop her from using her free hand to grab at whatever was around her waist. An explosion of ice blasting at that waist of hers and whatever had grabbed her! If they thought that she was just going to allow them to grab her like this they would be sorely mistaken! Log: -Silence gave the striker a good finisher, not allowing for it to come back. -She wanted to move forward; hoping to get closer to the center of the nest. -She was caught mostly offguard by the petaldramon, being pulled back by it’s tongue! -Silence uses Flash Freeze to target the tongue; while it hits her it deals no damage. Passives: Hypothermia|Combat Passive: This ability projects a large freezing air effect around omegashutmon. Individuals that are within 150 feet of omegashutmon find their movement's slowed by 5% the moment they step within this range.
Permafrost|Combat Passive|RAM UPGRADE: Every blade, every weapon of legend has a name. Every person that wields them falls into the abyss of the forgotten long before their weapon’s names are. This blade, as named by K herself before passing on is one of the few things she left to her successor. This blade is made out of a strange digichrome, hardened by the ice of the frozen mausoleum itself permafrost cannot be broken by normal means.
Further still, it is a catalyst of sorts, cultivating and soothing. It’s very presence allows for OmegaShutmon to persevere in such a way that many would not. It is a symbol, a symptom of a better world that those that get a glimpse of hardly let go. And within that symbol is a power. A power that can hardly be explained with simple words. Yet here we are, doing exactly that.
Permafrost’s power is simple.
For every attack that connects with an enemy target OmegaShutmon herself finds herself attuning further to the blade. Further still to the glimpse of that world, to that symbol. This attunement pushes her further, pushes her abilities to their limit. Her Damage input increases by 50% for two posts, which she cannot attune further with the blade during this time. She may start attuning to the blade the post after the attunement wears off. One post cooldown between activations.
Move: Flash Freeze: This ability allows OmegaShutmon to fly by creating a powerful explosions and gusts of ice from it’s feet or hands. It’s proficient enough to treat this as natural flight though it’s not as fast as ‘regular’ fliers. Though it’s far more maneuverable than most. It can use these gusts and explosions to deal high damage to those within melee range, though doing so does not incur a cooldown. These gusts or explosions do not slow a target. Cooldown: AW: [0/2] Card used: 1/7 Active Effects: Permafrost passive bonus: Damage +50% [Duration 2 posts, 2/2]

As much as he hated to admit it, Gio had to give the Gigasmon some credit: he was putting up a bloody good fight without any need of fancy tricks or moves, just pure brawn was enough for the golem to put him against the ropes and even do some real damage. And of course even with one arm out of commission he still had tricks up his sleeve. Such as? The simple but effective strategy of grabbing a hold of the wargrowlmon with a single arm. The black lizard didn't have much time left to react to this before he was immediatelly hurled away, unknowingly careening in the SaintMeramon's direction. Gio soon found himself loudly and painfully crashing against...something. Perhaps someone? He didn't know, his head was still spinning from all the punishment he had received so far. All he knew was that Gigasmon was still very much a threat, so as soon as he was able to he got back up on his feet and tried to relocate the giant's location again. Once he did, his battered chest plate would glow once more, and another red blast of energy would be shot in the red golem's direction. Dio meanwhile, found himself getting another reminder that reckless charging usually only led to easily avoidable pain. By the time he saw the usually blue squid turn into a deep red color, it was already too late for him to change course, and as such he soon would feel the searing pain of the massive tentacles slamming against his side, sending him tumbling once again to the ground. He didn't even bother with another snarky retort or angry yell, whatever remained for his patience for this Calmaramon had died a good while ago. With a frustrated snarl he'd get right back up, and would fire another beam from his eyes again, not even bothering to aim for the upper body this time. Clearly close range was not his strongest range in this fight, so why not fight long range fire with more long range fire? Gio takes yet again more damage from Gigasmon's simple but surprisingly effective attacks, before attacking with Ascalon Ray. Meanwhile Dio also takes more damage from Calmaramon's before using a Red Ray of his own. Lotsa rays this post

Axon Charges: 4/5 Damage increase: 20%
Ascalon Ray: Gathers power within the Ascalon Cannon in his chest and fires off a large beam of pure energy in a cone in front of him. It’s strong enough to pierce shields and ignore defensive buffs, but it’s inaccurate at long distances. 4 turns cooldown.
Red Ray: Fires a long ranged (100ft) red energy beam from his visor. This attack is not particularly powerful damage wise, but can easily pierce through armor of its same level and below. Three posts cooldown.

Desmond was now pretty close to Carlos but didn't do much to announce himself. The man with white hair could hear his footsteps if he listens but that was pretty all that he would be able to hear. As the blond tamer got closer and closer, he just slowed down and go next to the other tamer. He would wait silently for a moment trying to see what Dio was doing with the evil Calmaramon. And it didn't look like he was winning this fight from what he could see. The human quickly went to see if Silence was around and she was not. That meant that they have split the party, even more, making it a bit more difficult. He held on his breathing for a moment hoping that she wasn't in trouble.
The Frenchman was about to say something when he tried to see if Demi indeed went to help Gio. He barely had time to open his mouth when he saw Gio get thrown at Demi in an almost comical manner. The fire giant didn't even have time to slow down as the armored dinosaur came flying at him. By then, it was already too late for him to try to catch his ally and they both fell prone on the ground. It didn't really hurt the SaintMeramon but the back of his head did hit the ground making him see blurry for a second. Deciding that it would be wiser to stay on the ground for another second, Demi felt Gio stand up and would follow him shortly after.
Without his tamer to guide him, the fire Digimon had to find the best thing to do on his own. The Gigasmon was too far away for him to do much so he had to get closer. He took a quick glance at the Black Wargrowlmon to see what he was going to do and then turn his attention to the D-Reaper's ally. From his point of view, he needed to get closer if he wanted to be of any use. However, that meant that he might get into the way of Gio if he decides to continue with long-range attacks. He didn't have much time to think so he just followed his guts, get closer.
Placing his left arm in front of himself, he summoned a yellow shield of energy and began making his way toward the red golem. At best, he would take the attention away from his teammate and allow him a short rest. With heavy steps, the SaintMeramon started slowly at first but began gaining speed. He knew that he wouldn't be next to the Gigasmon but he had to get as close as he can.
Meanwhile, Desmond, who Carlos most likely noticed his presence by now, silently looked at Dio shooting beams from his eyes. He couldn't do much to help the Digimon if anything at all. The Frenchman felt his heart beating like a drum making his hands a bit sweaty. Maybe he had a card that could him Dio. He took a quick look at his deck of cards but ultimately decided to wait a bit longer to see if Carlos and his team had a plan.
Combat Log
- Demi got knocked down by Gio getting thrown at him! - Demi tries to stand and activate his shield ability and run toward the Gigasmon!
Active: Shield: SaintMeramon can use one of his jewels to create a smaller shield around his left side. This smaller shield can reduce most of the damage it would normally take even from physical attacks compared to his larger forcefield and can also last for up to 3 turns. It has a cooldown of 2 turns regardless of how many turns he had the shield on.

In retrospect, maybe purposefully putting distance between himself and the dinosaur with long-range cannons mounted on his chest might not have been the wisest idea for the golem. Sure, the sound of crashing metal against the SaintMeramon's armor definitely sounded satisfying, but...
"⍓︎□︎◆︎ ♍︎♋︎■︎ ⬧︎⧫︎♓︎●︎●︎ ♑︎♏︎⧫︎ ◆︎◻︎?"
Ugh, enough of this - he only had one arm to work with, for pete's sake! It wasn't as if he could afford to complain for long, and as Gio tried to clamber to his feet, the Gigasmon reached an arm down to the ground, breaking off and lifting a piece of that hard, red flooring. Perhaps the material was more agreeable to its protectors, or maybe the Gigasmon was just that determined to find something to throw.
It would have been nice if he could just wing at the dragon, but now the SaintMeramon was playing spoiler? Screw it: seeing the game being played, the monster instead threw the bolder towards the fire-type, and would then sprint head-on to charge in his direction. The purpose was two-fold: first, he could put down the hurt on the less-wounded adversary, and second, Gio might have to re-think firing his cannons. After all, if his target was right next to an ally, even impeding line of sight, would he really risk shooting at an ally?
The Calmaramon had far more success - those long-range whips striking and even deflecting the imp. The squid, now fully cloaked in that red material, would give a grin and start to move closer. The beam would easily sink into the Calmaramon's lower body, her expression twisting, but it was clear who still had the advantage.
Another snap - and another cloud of dark rain would start to appear above the NeoDevimon. Maybe, she figured, she could just tank the hits from this point, and whittle down the NeoDevimon faster than it could catch up with her. Allow?
No - but it would be rather awkward to deal with in short order. Even the Petaldramon's striking tongue was coated in that red material, and as that Flash Freeze struck against the surface, well, ice would build up against it, definitely damaging the root-like material. But it was hardly decisive. And more to the point, she didn't make an effort to try and anchor herself against the ground - the pull went on, undeterred, rapidly pulling Silence back towards the Petaldramon's beak. And if and when she would be pulled towards it?
Snap.
Hardly a difficult matter, but perhaps the most expected one: the Petaldramon's intent was to simply bite into the wolf's midsection!
Gigasmon uses 'Rock Wrecker' - initially intended for Gio, but he instead threw towards the SaintMeramon, and charged forth, intent on eliminating Gio's ability to attack at range, using Demi as cover.
Calmaramon is struck directly - and returns a Draining Rain, one more time. She hasn't yet been decisively damaged, so she figures she can just outlast her target.
Petaldramon's pull was not slowed, and the low cooldown move was not enough to pierce through Red Mode entirely. The pull continues - and Petaldramon bites.
