"Don't worry about it, it's no bother." Oliver didn't mind when people told them something serious, he just wasn't very good at responding to people when they did. It's probably because he had his own unsorted business that he hadn't sorted out yet though, so he probably wasn't the best person to try and give advice to someone about losing someone. He was more like a diary, someone could unload there secrets onto him, but he most likely wouldn't be saying anything back.
"Well, I think I should be heading out, I got a whole new world to explore. Hopefully I can sleep on the train." The comic grabbed his bag as he was about to head out. He just needed to return home to grab a few things and then he would be travelling interdimensionally to some brand new place. "Sorry I couldn't be more help finding your friend, they're out there some where though."

Mandrake noticed that Oliver seemed rather quiet while he unloaded his problem to him. Were certain matters just uncomfortable for him? Who was to say since Mandrake didn't know him that well. As Oliver mentioned he was heading out he watched Oliver gather up his stuff. "You needn't worry about apologizing about not being able to help me. I know I'll find him but I guess loneliness has been making my quest feel longer. Ah well, I guess tomorrow's another day right?"
When Oliver mentioned sleeping on the train Mandrake hoped he would decide to wait till tomorrow to head to the Digital World. After all, not all Trailmon said very much while working and in some rare cases people would sleep in well past their intended stop. He had never done that himself but from what he heard while traveling it happened enough.
Getting to his feet Mandrake said "I guess I'll be on my way myself. With any luck we may meet again." With that the disguised Impmon made his way out of the bar.

After the Impmon had left, Oliver finished his water and threw his bag over his shoulder. He reached into the bags side pocket to look at the D-Tector once more, this time feeling some sort of attachment towards it. He felt like he had some sort of connection to it now that he knew what it was and the potential it offered. Oliver brought up the image of the Impmon and looked at it for a moment. He wanted to unlock its secret and to learn more about this spirit. He felt as if the excitement he had been waiting for finally made its way into his life. Just not in the way he would have ever guessed.
His next stop would be his home to gather a few things before he headed towards the station. It had just dawned on the new spirit wielder that the station was probably closed at the moment and he wasn't sure if he would be able to get in. He could try, but it might be a better use of time to rest up a little bit before leaving. Yeah, that sounded like an okay plan to him.
Exit.
