Alternate Title: It's rude to use the toilet when someone else is bathing, but it can actually turn out to be a meaningful bonding experience.
Mocha shook away her discomfort as she sat over the green board with the black and white tiles. Something still didn't sit quite right with this Othello game to her. By strategically placing tiles, you turn someone else's stuff into your stuff. Which meant that by the end most of the board would be either black or white. And having all the tiles look the same sounded boring. What if you wanted to play a pink or brown tile? Or Drasil-forbid, a lime green tile? Then by the end of the game, the board would be full of all kinds of different colors, each one screaming to stand out. Mocha idly thought about painting the all the pieces different colors somehow. It didn't seem as strategic as this one, but Cream would probably get behind this idea.
"Are you going to make a move, Mocha?" the Terriermon asked on the opposite side of the board. She too was shifting around impatient. Looking at the disparity between the number of white tiles as opposed to Mocha's black tiles it was clear who the victor was going to be. Normally Cream wasn't the type to take stuff so seriously, but when it came to playing games Mocha's sister displayed a passion like never before. Mocha had never realized that her twin sister was such a nerd.
"I'm... just wondering how much longer Stupid Nanami is going to take!" The Lopmon growled as she nearly slammed a black tile on the board, only flipping one of Cream's tiles over as a result. "Why is the bathtub in the same room as the toilet, anyway? It's not like you can use both at the same time!"
Cream simply shrugged, as the two pondered in thought for a minute. Then, they both pulled out their cell phones. They were like Digivices except totally more useful. Nanami had bought them phones using a strange plastic object called mom's credit card, some kind of badge that let Nanami walk out of any store with whatever she wanted. They both did a quick internet search and nodded to themselves.
"I need to use the bathroom as well, but we should wait until Nanami is done. She probably needs to prepare herself. She's taking us back to the Digital World tomorrow." Cream seemed almost pensive while staring at Mocha. "That is what you want to do, right, Mocha? Go back to the Digital World? We were born in this world, after all." The Lopmon gave her sister a curious glance.
"What's that supposed to mean?" She replied, almost offended. "The human world sucks! People freak out whenever they see us, and Stupid Nanami is insistent on keeping us away from this Eiichiro person and her mother! Why should we stay here just because we were born here?" Mocha saw Cream's face turn from pensive glare to a sad smile. "Huh? What's going on now?"
"Nothing," Her sister replied, the smile vanishing from her lips to its usual blank expression. "Just suddenly nostalgic, is all."
"Whatever..." Mocha responded dismissively. Cream liked to keep her memories to herself, and Mocha never wanted to pry. Why should she bother remembering stuff about the past, anyway? It's not like remembering anything that came before would help her in the here and now, anyway.
"But Mocha... Nanami did promise to come with us to the Digital World," Cream stated out of nowhere.
"I know," The Lopmon answered, wondering where the conversation was going. She had a feeling it was going to be a lecture.
"You shouldn't feel the need to insult her, or to manipulate her anymore, okay?"
"I know..." Mocha made her irritation apparent but Cream continued on unperturbed.
"Digimon, human, it doesn't matter. We're on the same side now."
"Jeez! I frickin' know already, how many times do I gotta say it!?" Mocha stood up, flipping the Othello board upside down, scattering round black-and-white tiles all over Nanami's room. She stormed towards the bathroom door, muttering, "Frickin' sister, telling me the frickin' obvious all the frickin' time..."
"Where are you going?" Cream calmly inquired from behind. Mocha could hear her sister picking up the pieces of the mess she just made.
"I tired of waiting, so I'm going to the bathroom!" She jumped up and grabbed onto the door handle with her ear, pushing on through. She saw Nanami sitting in a tub full of bubbly water. Upon Mocha's entrance, she suddenly dropped something she was holding beneath the water's bubbly surface as she stared at the Lopmon in stunned silence. She suddenly sank a few inches down in the to water, scooping up some bubbles to partially obscure herself for some reason.
"M-Mocha! You can't come in here right now!" She nearly shrieked. "I'm in the middle of a-"
"Don't care," She interrupted the human girl. "I'm taking a poop."
