"Deal with things as they come. Except for maybe the more difficult ones. It'll turn out okay. Usually..."
Name: Isaac Blade
Alias: N/a
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Height: 175cm (~5'9")
Weight: 60.5kg (~133lbs)
Alignment: Neutral Good
Birth Date: Aug 5
Birth Place: London
Western Horoscope: Leo
Eastern Zodiac: Tiger
Skills/Talents: Isaac is fairly bright, due to paying attention in class, reading and other things. He's always willing to learn new things! Things that don't endanger lives, at least.
His slender frame allows for easier dodging, due to him being a smaller target, if he can react. But not for long, due to lack of endurance. Or strength. Or anything physical, for that matter.
Due to trying before moving to the digital world, he knows how to draw fairly well... Okay, a better phrase would be 'Intermediate'.
Personality: Following an occasionally contradicting ideology, Isaac doesn't worry about any difficulties that may come. Unless he's warned about a situation that was difficult to deal with in the past, in which case he'll prepare. Same for those that weren't so difficult, but to a lesser extent. For instance, if he knew he would have to go to an area which he got lost in earlier, he'd either make a road of stones/other items to know where he's been, make a map of where he has been (or buy a map) or, if darkness was the cause, grab a flashlight. He is laid-back and relaxed, since he didn't have many difficulties outside the ones mentioned, at least in his opinion. In more serious situations, he'll try to think over what he can (or can't) do, given he has the time. Otherwise... Usually not. Doesn't mean that he won't listen to others. (He'd even prefer that the people/digimon around them stated their own opinion, but he might regret that later.)
Other than that, he is very friendly, a socialite. Some of his friends call his personality 'magnetic', but that isn't entirely true. Tends to stand up for his friends, if needed. He is kind, as some would say, nice to a fault. Dislikes unnecessary violence, but would fight (as much as that would do...) if the need arose. But as forgiving as he seems, he never actually got over some things, making his forgiving nature a facade. He'd also 'fight dirty' and break rules without hesitation, should the situation demand it, but, as many normal people would, he'd prefer to at least not break any rules. But how do you make such a guy dislike you in any way that doesn't involve crime or violence? Badmouth his friends right in front of him with little reason. That is very likely to work, just second to an overdose of arrogance. There might be other ways, but none come to mind.
Now for the likes and dislikes, since I need to put them somewhere. Isaac likes junk food, medieval weaponry and making friends. Dislikes violence (hates unnecesary violence), arrogance, swimming or climbing (he can't exactly climb anything that aren't stairs and ladders well and absolutely can't swim, you see?).
Appearance: Well... 10 sentences, right? Okay, lets see if I can pull this off.
First, we shall start with the body. Isaac may have wanted a weapon in the past, but he never worked out, so he wasn't exactly muscled. Never got into many fights, either, preferring to avoid violence if at all possible. As such, he has no scars. He did move around quite a bit, though, making him overall skinny, yet not quite athletic. He had white skin and blue eyes. Short brown hair, no facial hair (not many 15-year olds I know have facial hair), making sure to shave off any facial hair there was with an electric razor, if one is around. For the weight and height, you can look up, can't you?
And now the clothing, I guess. Isaac normally wears a blue T-shirt and black jeans. Black, blue-rimmed sneakers to match the two. A fairly bland outfit, but it was okay for him. If it gets sunny, Isaac keeps a pair of sunglasses handy.
I'm done. Let's see, I'll keep my little notes out of the sentence count, so... If I'm counting right, I've got 10 sentences. Just barely...
Personal History: When Isaac was born... Nothing much happened. He went to school as many kids do, made lots of friends. His parents moved from a flat to a big, 3-story house together with him when he was 9, having him move schools and leave his friends. That gave the parents quite a big debt to work off and the kid some more friends to make...
Only at age 10 did the 'story' really start. Well, other than not being gloomy over leaving his past school and being unable to contact his past friends. His parents drove to the countryside, to meet with his aunt and uncle. There was his cousin, leisurely shooting wooden arrows with a longbow at a target, painted onto a tree. He was 6 years older than Isaac and almost a typical jock. Only his interest in medieval weaponry set him apart from the rest. So Isaac asked for a single shot with that longbow, and, hoping that he was stronger than he looked, gave him a single shot... He just barely pulled back the bow enough to do anything and, due to the size and weight differance from what someone his age and build should be using, failed to shoot it right at all, as the arrow didn't even make it to the target, and even if it had, it would've went a bit too far to the side, missing anyway. Isaac's cousin made fun of him for his lack of muscle since, even taunting him whenever he got any new piece. His parents would also refuse to buy him anything, claiming that such things would be very expensive. To be fair, having such a debt in the past caused them to try to save their money more. You also wouldn't often see a 10-year old swinging weapons around, and his parents didn't want him doing so, using the price more as a justification. Either way, that sparked his own interest in weaponry. Isaac got over it later, to some extent. He would still read about them every now and then, as he would a book about many things, but he wouldn't try to get a weapon as his lifetime goal.
2 years after that (age 12), his cousin left to a college farther away. Whether he was going to apologize for his earlier behavior or not was unknown at the time, but Isaac was glad... At the time.
A single year later (now age 13), said cousin returned and visited, with a present in hand. To Isaac's surprise, the guy apologized for being an overall jerk and the present was for him. It contained... A short-bow! He was very happy about getting it and, as they spent some time talking, Isaac couldn't help to forgive him. The 'aspiring warrior' never tried his new weapon the day he got it and his parents disposed of it the next, leaving him with no weapon again. He got over that, too (...Or did he?). The parents believed that his kind and optimistic personality came from his frequent interaction with other people (They would be somewhat right, that's what lets him keep it), yet had no clue where his laid-back and supposedly forgiving personality came from.
Age 14. Things were getting far better. No debts and little lack of money to worry about. He got a laptop, albeit a rather cheap one, for his birthday. But then they moved to Japan shortly, since the parents lost their jobs and there was a good offer there at the time. For someone who used to be in England their entire lives, it was difficult to adapt to, being in a school with a different language and an overall different country. There was also the matter of leaving his friends again and not getting any way to contact them first... Again.
And now he is 15. He has finally adapted to living in Japan, as he grasped the basics of the Japanese language. Can't use many fancy words, but he can at least communicate. He managed to make some more friends, as always. Wasn't that hard to part with friends that weren't 'true' friends. Parents' treatment started to get a little better, allowing him to at least have some daily allowance of 1000 Yen. It's often spent on food, but still. Getting a notebook also helped, as he got an interest in drawing. No professional, but he might get there someday. However, may it be debts, bullies or repeated loss of friends, nothing had prepared him for what he was going to experience next. Nothing has succeeded in breaking his optimism yet, but will it survive this? Will the upcoming experiences change him for the better or the worse?...
...Now I feel as if, despite the size, this is a bit bland. However, I suppose it'd be better for me to play someone more normal.
Backpack Contents:
- Pencil
- Books, including the notebook
- Sunglasses
Digivice: A black and blue D-3 digivice. Black for the center, blue for the sides.
Partner’s Name: Patamon (Real original, I know... The sarcasm sure is heavy here.)
Default Form: Patamon; Rookie (Child)(As soon as I get to that point, of course.)
Gender: Male
Alignment: Lawful Good
Skills/Talents:Is speedy and athletic for the Child and Adult forms (as athletic as a Patamon can get -1, that is). Still speedy on the 3 later ones, however some speed is traded off for power.
This might be better added with the previous, but... Has good reaction time.
Personality: Similarly to Isaac, Patamon is kind, however not nice to a fault this time. Without that, Patamon will, at the very least, hesitate before doing something unlawful (hence why that lawful part is important, but at least it would make a scenario where doing so might get interesting.). Same applies for running from a battle midway. Running at the start MIGHT be OK, if there's no way he could win, unless done too often (I'm already imagining Patamon nagging Isaac for running from a multitude of fights.). He simply won't run (at least not willfully) if he happens to be defending.
But enough about the Alignment part of the personality. While very direct in the way he does things (Even battle. All the moves, save a few, deal direct damage and no status effects.), Patamon is fairly active and child-like in his normal Child form under normal circumstances, much to Isaac's likely dismay. He's determined, if not stubborn, almost never giving up. Is also fairly impulsive and reckless (no-one's perfect!). Patamon can and will fight, if his tamer forces him to... Or to protect others, with Isaac's consent or not.DIGIMON'S INITIAL EVOLUTION LINE
Appearance:
Fresh: Poyomon
Attribute: Data (The wiki I'm looking at here says it has no attribute, but since I don't think that can be, I'll make it the 'Normal' attribute, if Vaccine was 'Good' and Virus was 'Evil'.)
Family/ies: N/a
Type: Slime
Attacks: Bubbles - Spits potently acidic bubbles, reaching about 1 foot. Damage... Is almost, if not equal to, nothing. Might be good for intimidation at most, and even then, it won't do much in that aspect.
Digivolves To: Tokomon
Appearance:
In-Training: Tokomon
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: N/a
Type: Lesser
Attacks: Bubbles - Spits potently acidic bubbles, just like last time. Still not so useful.
Bite - Now this might do something. The name is pretty self-explanatory. Bites the foe to deal damage. Usually very minor damage, though.
Digivolves To: Patamon
Appearance:
Rookie: Patamon
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Nature Spirits
Virus Busters
Wind Guardians
Type: Mammal
Attacks: Air Shot - Now this is where the fun begins! As the name suggests, the user inflates himself with air and fires a shot of air. I'd love to make it simply travel forward infinitely, but that might be too much for just air, so I'll make the range... 7 feet. Past then, it's just wind.
Slam - I could call this Body Blow, Slamming Attack or maybe even Tackle, but I'll just go with Slam. Tackles the foe. Deals damage and might push the enemy back a bit. Could take a turn of cooldown if missed, since if one were to miss a tackle, they'd have to stop themselves from going on forward and hitting the next object or chasm in the way, as I doubt they were tackling at walking speed. Shooting while moving is still possible with an accuracy penalty, but there's recoil if the user hits a wall.
Wing Slap - Self-explanatory. Slaps the foe with wings (ears), deals minor damage. A good move to snap your tamer out of hypnosis/sleep! I know I'd use it... If it didn't hurt.
Digivolves To: Angemon
Appearance:
Champion: Angemon
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Virus Busters
Wind Guardians
Type: Angel
Attacks: Holy Rod - Self-explanatory enough. Twacks foe with (holy) rod.
Holy Shot - Something self-explanatory. Fires a shot of holy power from fingertips. The damage isn't huge and it flies only about 10 feet before dissipating. About 3 inch long, it's kinda boring, but practical.
Heaven's Knuckle - I would use 'God Hand', but then I might be bordering on copyright, if I'm not already. Charges holy energy into his fist and then unleashes that energy in the form of a beam... By punching. Should reach a decent 30 feet in length, 3 feet in width and deal medium damage, under normal circumstances (No weaknesses/strengths). But now I'm debating on if I should add a... Huh? No cooldown or chargetime? Okay.
Digivolves To:
Appearance:
Ultimate: HolyAngemon (AKA MagnaAngemon)
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Virus Busters
Wind Guardians
Type: Archangel
Attacks: Excalibur - I could rename this into Beam Sword. Oh dear, how original of me. Anyway, slashes with the energy sword generated from the armor on its right arm. Simple, right?
Heaven's Heal - A healing move, allowing the user to heal itself and allies (And maybe enemies, if they get close enough. Same way friendly fire works. Reverse friendly fire?) with a holy aura that surrounds the user in a 6 foot radius, occasionally lifting their weapon into the air for added emphasis. Requires for said allies to keep the enemies away and, obviously, for them to stay in the area of effect themselves. Only once per battle, so it can't be abused.
Holy Disinfection - I would lose this round in the name game/war, too. Cures allies of cursed status ailments with an aura, emitted forward from the wings. Movement in the middle of the move isn't possible, so of course, that demands that the cursed aren't moved during/right before the cure. 2 turn cooldown.
Heaven's Gate - I'm at a loss as how one could change it from the move name on Wikimon (like Bubbles, Bite, Wing Slap, Air Shot and Holy Shot (some are translations of names), but those explain themselves.) without making it sound worse. Summons a gate from another dimension and launches a beam of holy light. 70 feet length, 6 feet width, high damage, no cooldown.
Digivolves To:
Appearance:
Mega: Seraphimon
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Virus Busters
Wind Guardians
Type: Seraph (Couldn't be anything more, could it?)
Attacks: Excalibur - First, a move the previous form shares. Slashes enemy with a sword generated from the armor on his right arm. Doubt you expected anything differant. Same cooldown rules, those being none.
Strike of the Seven Stars - Simple enough. Fire 7 orbs of light in the form of a hexagon, 6 being in what would be the corners and one in the middle. Each is 10 inches in diameter, with 1 foot in length for each of the hexagon's sides. Travels 60 feet.
Hallowed Knuckle - I may want to get more original with names and moves sometime. Launches an orb of lightning from fist. 2 feet in diameter, travels 20 feet. More practical than shotgun gauntlets, I suppose.
Hallowed Ascension - Lightning seems more to-the-point, but I'll keep it as is. Calls down 3 bolts of lightning from the sky to a location up to 15 feet away.
Testament - I could call this Sacrifice, as that's what one will do, but like last time, I'll keep it as is. Basically self-destructs and causes a massive explosion. About 125 feet in diameter, but as powerful as it is, it'll most likely never be used for obvious reasons... Unless it's necessary.
Digivolves To:Imperialdramon Paladin Mode, if Biomerging would count as digivolution. (Is that okay? Heh... I really only played one digimon game and have only my experiance with said game and the wikis as my only sources of info. I could also pick Chronomon Holy Mode, but then I might have difficulties with the moves...)
Appearance:
Biomerge: Imperialdramon Paladin Mode
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies:Virus Busters
Metal Empire
Type: Ancient Holy Knight
Attacks: Omni Blade - Swings said blade, that blade being the sword he's carrying. Rather simple. Shouldn't require the cooldown that I normally love adding.
Giga Crusher - Summons a large cannon and fires a beam. 100 feet length, 7 feet width, high damage, 4 turn cooldown. Like the Heaven's Gate beam, except a bit stronger. But sometimes, I wonder... What's with me and beams? All the holy forms but Seraphimon have one. If all forms had one, though, then I'd really start questioning that.
Imperial Claw - Slashes with wrist claws. A quick melee attack, if you just can't be bothered to swing the sword instead, lost it somewhere or want to attempt to and fail to pull off a fighting game-like combo. Light>Light>Medium>Heavy>Special?
Black Lightning - Launches a 4 feet diameter ball of black lightning that explodes in a 15 foot radius on impact. No witty commentary here.
Positron Laser - I'd lose again... Anyway, Shoots a beam from the cannon on the right hand. About... 4 feet in width, can reach up to 80 feet. Of course, the farther the foe, the more difficult the shot.
