Riding through the Network Plains at fast pace on her motorcycle, Stacy was enjoying the peace and quiet. However if she knew things would go so bad a short time later she would of turned around and gone back to the Trailmon station to head home. Unknown to the spirit wielder an unknown digimon was making a menace of itself and had managed to somehow generate an anomaly. The only reason Stacy was aware something ahead was up was because her digimon instincts were doing more than the typical nudge as it was more like screaming a warning of some sort.
Not one to ignore those instincts, she brought her motorcycle to a stop before getting off of it. After removing her helmet and placing it in the sidecar, she then recalled her motorcycle back into her digivice before looking around. After not spotting anything to off she began walking and soon something felt off and it wasn't just her instincts warning her either. She was beginning to feel warm and tingly for seemingly no logical reason since she only felt like that when she had consumed a certain amount of alcohol which made no sense seeing as she was stone cold sober.
Then after maybe five or so minutes she was feeling lightheaded and began feeling amused. There was no mistaking it know as she knew she was getting drunk without alcohol being handy. Glad she wasn't a lightweight when it came to alcohol or she would of likely had been drunk off her ass by now or even possibly passed out but it wouldn't be long before she was unable to walk at the rate she was going. 'Glad I didn't decide to drive anymore.' Stacy thought as her vision was beginning to blur. 'Fantastic. Now my vision is blurring and I'd hate to see what things would look like if I didn't wear my glasses.' She thought though her head was swimming and focus was becoming real difficult.
Shaking her head in an attempt to clear her vision and regain her focus while she said "Okay, Stacy. Gotta stay with it. Gotta focus. Focus." The sounds of various life in the anomaly she was not aware of made her giggle. Well damn, it looked like she was loosing her mind and as a shadow passed her line of blurry vision. Fortunately her giggly state was brief as she passed out just catching sounds of a scuffle before feeling like she was floating before all went black.
Later.....
Stacy didn't know how long she was out but when she opened her eyes lights, though not overly bright, made her clench her eyes shut with a groan. As she threw one of her arms over her eyes she realized she wasn't wearing her glasses. Groaning she creaked one eye open and turned her head gazing around the room now aware of the monstrous headache that felt as if it was the kind of migraine that was akin to a creature threatening to burst free from her skull. Yep it was a bad one alright. Soon she spotted her blue framed glasses on a small table near a bed she had been left on. Opening her other eye and sitting up she groaned rubbing her hands over her face before grabbing her glasses and placing them on her face.
Looking around again she saw she was placed in a sparse room after she had been picked up though the last thing she remembered was floating before blacking out. That must of been when she was picked up. Rubbing her temples she was grateful this hangover was nausea free but she could live without the migraine level agony.
Next thing she knew was she was hearing clanging footsteps that sounded like metallic thuds as the owner made their way towards her. Seeing her D-Tector still resting in her Digivice Cradle on her right arm and her backpack next to the table her glasses were on she sprang to her feet putting the bag on faster than she usually moved before clutching her D-Tector in her left hand.
The door to the room she was in creaked open revealing a humanoid digimon mostly covered in silver armor. Some kind of android digimon perhaps either way she was not about to let her guard down. The unknown digimon looked at her with kind looking red eyes before it said "Easy there. I mean you no harm. You passed out from the drunkening effect of an anomaly that a digimon called Raremon has somehow managed to figure out how to generate."
"No offense but from my standpoint you grabbed me while I was unconscious so how do I know you aren't some kind of incompetant kidnapper since you left me access to my stuff?" Stacy asked narrowing her eyes suspiciously.
"Fair enough. I suppose you have every right to be suspicious since I moved you when you blacked out in an attempt to protect you from Raremon. As for who I am, I am Andromon and sadly I'm not strong enough to fight off this Raremon as it, unlike most Raremon, is an ultimate level digimon. I, however, unlike most Andromon am only a champion level digimon so I was merely lucky when I was able to startle him and run off with you." Andromon said and Stacy relaxed slightly but was still wary.
"I have one more question then Andromon. Why were you not turned into a drunken mess like myself?" Stacy asked sitting down on the bed no longer stiff but still cautious.
"I see why you are confused, miss...."
"Stacy. My name is Stacy."
"Right, Stacy. Anyway it seems machine type digimon like myself and Raremon seem immune to the effects of the anomaly and I see you are a spirit wielder. By any chance, can you reach ultimate level or even become a machine type digimon?" Andromon asked. Depending on Stacy's answer it might have to move on to plan B.
Stacy shook her head before she said "Unfortunately I have no access to machine type forms though I can reach the ultimate level but if I head out I could be right back at square one again."
Andromon sighed before it said "I have something that will help." Opening a chest panel it revealed what looked like a bracelet before it then said "This bracelet will cut back on the effects of the anomaly but only for a digimon." As Andromon handed Stacy the bracelet it said "One thing you must know is the reason mine and Raremon's power levels are so off is because of a generator it keeps in its back. That is likely the cause of the anamoly as well."
"So you're saying that I grab that generator and it will likely end this anomaly. Sounds like a snatch and grab operation and since I have fast forms I can handle this." Stacy said as fractal coding appeared around her right hand before running over the D-Tector in her left hand. "Execute! Beast Spirit Evolution!" Her body became engulfed in a holy light as her body changed form and fortunately the place she was in was more than big enough to accomodate her upcoming form as a wolf howl sounded. As the light dissipated a cerberus with a shining white coat and a holy ring on the middle and slightly largest head and the bracelet she was lent was around her front left leg. "LupineCerberusmon!"
Before Andromon could speak LupineCerberusmon bolted out of the room and was soon out of what was now revealed to be a house. As she dashed through the Network Plains a foul smell hit her causing her to growl and her instincts were telling her to follow the smell. Following her digimon instincts she soon caught up to a smelly digimon carrying a small generator on its back. Now was the time to make her move. Narrowing her eyes she whispered "Light of Enlightenment!"
Her body became engulfed in holy light and she ran forward at high speed that Raremon couldn't avoid in time as it was turning to meet the ten foot three headed holy wolf just as she ripped the generator off its back and ran for it. Too easy and even better the sluggish smelly beast couldn't pray to keep up. Soon Andromon was back to full strength and Stacy, who had dedigivolved back into her natural human state after returning the bracelet she borrowed, had begun walking to the Trailmon station since she still didn't feel up to riding there.
