Diving into the wide breadth that the Digital World offered was a breath taking experience, consumed in large portions at a time. For hours each night Rudolf would scroll through his Digivice looking to learn new aspects of his Digital Life. The functionability of his golden Digivice was amazing. However his Spirit Totem had designed the hardware was unknown, but its ability was amazing. Built to last inside and out, the Digivice had a personal Advanced Artificial Intelligence. Kanna was her name, and she was similar to the Android helpers used by smartphones. Rudi nicknamed his Digivice Kanna of course, and spent a lot of time exploring its uses. The AI was amazing, and always helpful when exploring new things with his Digivice. Rudi was thankful of Apollomon in so many ways, he had found a true hero.
One day while browsing through Apollomons journal logs, perched on a cliff side in the Dragon Mountains; Kanna had a pink notification blinking in Rudis Digivolved vision. Activating the "Digi-Farm" prompt, Flamon X/Rudolf was teleported without any warning. Still getting used to the vacuous feeling of space travel, Flamon X arrived on his knees. The grass was incredibly soft underneath of Rudi's furry paws, and the daylight was bright as ever. Standing up slowly Rudi checked his map. The blue compass declared his location was in Mainframe Hill, sub servers. Confused as always, Rudi scrolled through his visual HUD look for the definition of a sub server. Curiously it seemed his spatial location was found in the same district as Mainframe Hills, however a sub server was a spatial recognition of leased location in the Digital World. Someone had bought land from Mainframe Hill, and moved it to a private server, called the Digi-Farm X89.tamernet. The land retained its status as Mainframe Hills, despite physically residing in Rudolfs Digivice.
Rudolf looked around the farm while he considered the legalities of this new farm. Struck with genius he pulled Kanna out and reviewed the info on his Digi-Farm Application. As she often did, Kanna recited the scripted data she possessed. "Your Digi-Farm Application was designed at an unknown date by, author Apollo. This farm is leased land, provided by the Renamon Farmland Regulations within Mainframe Hill. Appraised at over 500,000,000 upon its purchase, this land is known to provide bountiful Tsukau Cherries. As well, author Apollo, has moved several Digi-Steel ore deposits to this sub server of Mainframe Hills. Due to lack of tending, the Farm is completely desolate."
Rudolf let out an exasperated yawn, sort of disappointed by Apollomons inability to find a way to tend to the farm. There were no cherry trees, and any ore was covered by grassy hills. There was a large ranch house near him, in fact he was in the front yard. Behind the ranch there was a treehouse, and further to the east of the house a shed sat next to the treehouse. Rudolf thought it was quaint, but he wasnt exactly impressed. To his dismay erosion had deleted all of the contents of the ranch house, tree house and shed. Just empty building, battered by the Digital wind.
Rudolf wondered how he would ever fix the place up, and he sat in the treehouse. While he thought how he could move the land to access the fertile grounds, Rudolf was disturbed by a razor leaf. Stuck into the door of his treehouse, the leaf waved back and forth. Before inspecting it, Rudolf check for anyone outside. Unsurprisingly a Renamon was standing by the ladder at the tree trunk. She waved to Flamon X, and Rudi waved her up. In one swift leap Renamon was on his front porch.
Still meeting the various sorts of Digimon, Rudi quickly scanned Renamon while she talked. Quick to note down all the characteristic attributes of this Wind Guardian, Rudi had just enough time to process that and her words. She claimed to be a descendant of the Renamon whom the former owner had bought this farm from. Rudolf claimed to be Apollomons heir, and was granted ownership by proof of his Heroic Spirit Totem. Before leaving the Renamon left Rudolf a tamernet url where he could access a Digi-Farm marketplace. Of course this service was hosted by the Renamon association, but Rudi didnt mind. Happy to see her off of his new land, Rudi was eager to name his new farm. Feeling like an official landowner now, he named the farm Sol Ymir dot tamernet, after the Sun Apollomon protected in days past. The farm registered in his Digivice as his own, and the feeling of possession was heart warming.
Still in the treehouse, Rudolf decided he would browse the marketplace. Opting for a holographic projection, Rudi flipped through the neon light waves like a magazine. He ordered lots of furniture. To his surprise Apollomon had actually passed down outstanding Market credit. He prepared his ranch house like a kind would, and couldnt wait to take pictures. With some haggling he arranged for construction worker Digimon to remodel the farmland. Planning to harvest the Sherri Cherry and Digi-Steel on his property, Rudi was setting himself up for a successful entrepreneurship.
In the coming weeks the construction began. SigmaGuardomon was the foreman of the crew, and did an outstanding job. After his work was done Rudi invited him to a game of cards. They played for hours and after making a friend Rudi was offered a job in SigmaGuardomons courier service. Proud to be a part of the working force, and eager to get rich and have a flourishing farm, Rudi cheerfully accepted.
After working on his Digivices software, Rudolf was able to modify a custom HUD for his Digifarm. Capable of weather reports and surveilance he was proud of his work. The Digivice seemed to have the modem for video too, but with no one at his farm he figured that would be useless. Despite that Rudi did apply the applications full use to his Digivice, and was able to see his empty ranch house. Wondering how he might get a Digimon to live on his farm, Rudi decided he would begin looking through the tamernet for a mercenary Digimon to protect his home in the Digital World.
