Skills/Talents: Prankster: She enjoys a good prank, especially of the slapstick variety, and trying to use her abilities to set them up is great fun.
Stealth: Given her predilection to the above, she has also trained herself to be quite stealthy while moving about, whether visible or invisible.
Cooking: She loves cooking, and enjoys making a wide variety of various dishes, though they often involve fried tofu. And sometimes weirder, human-inedible ingredients.
Coffee: Unlike her cooking though, she sticks to actually good coffee ingredients.
Personality: Kana is vain and prideful, but honorable Digimon. She styles herself as a “Goddess of Vengeance,” taking requests from those who come into her shrine and ask for her help. In fact, when she takes a request or otherwise makes a promise, she does her utmost to fulfill it, even at great personal cost since she stakes her pride on the line. She considers it a “divine duty,” in fact.
But, despite her general tendency to do good, she is a very petty and fickle entity. She expects to be given at least a modicum of respect (not necessarily worship: she finds forcing worship to be unproductive and awkward).One of the easiest ways to appease her though is usually with some kind of food, especially tofu.
On the occasions she is called out as being a Digimon, she’ll drop the “mystical” ploy and, while she still speaks very highly of herself, she will generally (if begrudgingly) talk to tamers and spirit users “as equals” rather than holding herself TOO far above them.
Personal History: Kana came into existence on a computer server that was hosting information about Shinto beliefs and history. When she made her way out into the wider Digital World, and found that the information she was born from wasn’t terribly applicable to life in the open, she found herself having something of an identity crisis. She ended up taking up a job as a form of enforcer or mercenary to get by while she was searching for her own true purpose. This eventually led to her realizing that humans existed, having taken jobs that led her into the Real World.
It was here that she came to notice that humans were really not all that powerful on their own. It recontextualized the data of her origin for her, and she decided she was going to settle in the Real World somehow. She found her way to a small shrine off the side of the road in an obscure part of Shibuya and took up residence, including earning the respect and worship of a Gotsumon that was using it as a living space by hiding among the rock gardens there. She set to work fixing up the shrine to suit her tastes, and began taking spiritual related jobs from the humans that stopped by on occasion… Enforcing her newfound styling as a kami of the shrine she took over.
