Appreciation of the Classics honoka & Naoki | Zack & Marigold
Things were looking like they were going to be ending soon, as the last Wendimon went down with Honoka barely having to do anything. She supposed that Marigold had taken care of most of them, while her brother mainly served as a distraction at best. Unfortunately, things weren't as they looked. Two more Digimon appeared, larger rabbit Digimon, Andiramon. And judging by the digital signals they gave off, quite a bit stronger than the Wendimon before them. Ultimate-level Digimon, like the DeathMeramon she had faced a while back.
And considering the last time she had faced an Ultimate-level Digimon, she had lost control of her beast spirits and gone on a rampage that was thankfully stopped thanks to a friendly acquaintance, Honoka wasn't so keen on facing another one so soon. Especially since she hadn't quite gotten full control of them just yet. And in a confined space like this area, and with her brother and Zack, who, despite all his valor, was still just a human, risking using her Beast Spirits wasn't an option.
Still, the intensity of the situation seemed completely lost on her brother, as he blurted out, "Well, looks like we got a couple more guys late to the party," He stated, half-joking, half-annoyed that this wasn't over yet. "But jumping out the window was a bit much, don't you think? Does your thuggery really pay that well that you can afford to pay for replacing those, or is that some kind of employee benefit?" He clenched his fists, flames building up around the back of his hands.
But Honoka stood in front of her brother before he could make any drastic moves and she just put her hand out to the two Andiramon who meant the serious business. "We've already freed your captives, and they've no doubt already alerted the authorities!" She warned, her voice a little shakier than she would have liked. "Your whole operation's over, so just make it easier for everyone and surrender peacefully!"
Obviously it wouldn't work, but if there was any possibility that this could resolve peacefully without anyone getting hurt, then Honoka had to take it.

"...You." The pair of rabbit Digimon said as they turned their heads to meet Marigold's glaring gaze. They moved like puppets with only half their strings left, jerking and shuddering through the motion of their inhumanly long limbs in a way that made them look like they were about to topple over if they moved too fast. it was something out of a horror movie. Marigold clenched. If they recognized her, it could only mean one of a very short list of things and literally none of them were good. "You're one of queen Flymon's brood aren't you?" They said, speaking in unison even. Marigold clenched, both her and Zack visibly seething at just the mention of the name. Only made sense that a tinpot warlord like Marigold progenitor would have some kind of connections in Terminus' shady underbelly.
"RRRAAAHHH!!!" Marigold reacted, buzzing across open ground to try and get within grappling distance of the pair, their even reminding her of her progenitor enough to set her off as she lifted both of her hands above her head,, spiked gauntlets facing down as she tried to bring them down like sledgehammers. "Spiking Finish!" She howled, trying to bring down both arms. Compared to the twin ultimates though it was too little, too slow, too late. They both leapt back from the shot, bouncing off the wall with one foot each, their heels sailing into marigold's face, making he sail backward and bounce to a grinding stop on the concrete warehouse floor.
"Hmm, such a shame, really. Your queen had some real ideas, big plans. And now you're...what? Following along with these humans like a lapdog? Well, more's the pity." They said, turning their focus to the two spirit tamers, leaping into their midst and spinning with one leg outstretched to try and catch their quarry with those dangerous heels. Zack turned, sprinting to where Marigold had fallen and sliding to her side on his knees.
"Come on kiddo, get up." he said, taking the Stingmon's head in his hands and jostling her slightly, the insectoid warrior digimon groaning, rolling her head back and forth as the impact washed pain across her exoskeleton
Spiking Finish!: Simple, but effective. Getting in at the right range to the person she's fighting and delivering a heavy smacking backhand with the spikes across the back of her armored gauntlets, getting as much weight and momentum as possible behind the strike doesn't make up for the fake that its ease of use and short distance make it a weak, but usable go to move (0 turn cooldown)

Appreciation of the Classics honoka & Naoki | Zack & Marigold
Evidently, Honoka's warning fell on deaf ears. Odd, considering their large ears. She supposed it was because they were distracted by Marigold, as they seemed to recognize the Stingmon. Whatever connection they claimed to have, it triggered something in Marigold, as she charged in recklessly only to get badly punished. Going in without a plan against two higher-level Digimon tends to end up that way, though. But Honoka didn't even have time to look after her, as the two Andiramon moved in to attack the Nijimura siblings. Honestly, Honoka would have been better off if they had kept ignoring her. Honoka may not have been at an Ultimate-level in power, but she was faster than people would give her credit for. She used that speed to go back as quick and as far as she could, out of the way of the Andiramon's kick.
Meanwhile, Naoki wasn't nearly as quick, so he braced himself for impact. He was tough, and could take a bit of a beating! So he would just take the Andiramon's attack, and counter with his best-
Sadly, Naoki grossly underestimated the power difference. Even guarding, the kick sent the Agnimon spirit tumbling backwards, his metallic armor scraping across the floor in a shower of sparks. He groaned as he even struggled to get up. In fact, it would probably be best if he stayed down for a little bit longer...
Which left Honoka to realize that things were going south fast. Things were getting more and more desperate, and when that happened, she would...
No! She couldn't let some angry spirits control her! She turned back to Zack, Marigold, and Naoki. "Everyone! There's no way that we can take on these two with just the three of us! I'll hold them off, so focus on getting away!"

"Such tiny people, really. Trying to shame us for doing what comes naturally, using our power to TAKE what it is that we desire. jealous because they can't take anything for themselves. Boo hoo." The pair of rabbits said, taunting as they rolled their head from one side to the other. They moved like dolls with no friction in their joints, like puppets with have the strings removed. The fact that they both spoke at the same time made it even creepier, there wasn't a single motion one made that the other didn't mimic with total perfection. It was almost like...
A slight shimmer at the edge of one of the Andiramon's shape gave away the trick, like a flicker at the edge of a film projection or the visual noise in a hologram. Marigold caught it as she pushed up to her feet again.
"There's...nnn, there's only one of you." She said, the rabbit digimon's air of superiority and grace instantly beginning to crack as their head snapped to face the rising insect. "Just like any other bully, you didn't want anybody to even think of fighting back. You fell back on strength in numbers because you were too scared to imagine some other Ultimate coming along and putting you in your place. Well news flash. I'm nobody's lapdog, I'm not JEALOUS of your sad little dragon's hoard." Marigold said, the seams and gaps in her exoskeletal armor beginning to glow with the data shimmering white light that was instantly recognizable to any Digimon "What you're doing is WRONG. AND I INTEND TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!" Her entire shape was engulfed in that light, shifting into a larger, spiny silhouette before breaking, revealing a towering JewelBeemon, gleaming amber insets shimmering even in the flickering overhead lights. She twirled the red tipped spear staff, evidently more than ready to continue this fight.

Appreciation of the Classics The People involved
Thankfully, Honoka didn't have to what she feared she would have to do, for Marigold seems to have Digivolved to Ultimate level. And considering that the Andiramon was apparently only one Digimon as well, Honoka would say that this would even things out. So she could probably leave and be just as effective as she would have been if she had stayed, which was practically zero at this point.
She looked over towards Naoki and noticed that he had transformed back to his human form at this point. He was down for the count, and if he stuck around while a battle of Ultimate-levels who could casually level the entire building if they wanted to...
No, Honoka had to get him out of there, so she apologized to Zack and and flew off, taking her brother's unconscious body with her. They'd probably be able to handle themselves.
