It was weird for Junko to feel like a failure. Most of the time, the girl’s self-esteem triumphed over any perceived slights anyone managed to summon to try and injure her psyche; she knew how much she was worth, and that made her fairly resistant to the usual methods. However, she had never learned to deal with her own shortcomings all that well. Or, at least when those ended up in what she perceived as failures.
As things stood, the girl had lost track of any of the acquaintances she had made in this weird world. It was a bitter feeling, knowing that her current state was in part to blame to one of them, but she didn’t really dwell on that detail for more than a couple lazy minutes. It was the fact that, for the first time in a while, she had failed pretty pathetically at a task she had advocated herself to do. And twice in a row, at it.
That was a weird feeling. In the recesses of her mind, Juni knew she was better than this. She knew that these situations were, frustratingly enough, out of her control; however, that obvious truth did little to placate the sheer amount of anger she felt. Her feelings were raw, and they definitely weren’t pretty.
“Man, fuck this shit.” Worst part of it? She didn’t know why she was amid some godforsaken tundra, barely devoid of any living beings, and amid what seemed the beginning of a blizzard. Wasn’t she in some cave before back when she met the wannabe idol and her annoying mongoose? It came without saying that her current clothing was ill-equipped to deal with the cold that permeated the environment, but she wasn’t shivering, as weird as that was.
With some luck, she’d find a city and hopefully orientate herself before she fell sick, or worse.

"Why do you get yourself into these situations Junjo?" The teal haired spirit user complained to himself as his feet crunched the thick snow beneath his feet. Luckily there was enough snow that he wasn't falling on his butt thanks to ice. He did prepare himself before he arrived in the tundra; rumors of a cold wasteland that might have some missions here or there and besides that Junjo had been bored to tears running the in the human world! He wore a huge, purple, puffy jacket and fluffy earmuffs of a lavender shade. His hands were covered and comfortable, warm gloves and a grey scarf flipped about in the frigid winds that rolled over the vast, icy, expanse.
He was warm enough, but damn this place was huge and without his friend Asher around, he was to the point of talking to himself; not that such a task wasn't common for him. Heck, he even missed Asher's sassy mercenary. He let out a long sigh and kept walking, determined to at least make it to the next town before he used his new digiport to take him back home, or at least somewhere warmer like the railway.
"That little snow village was so cute, but I guess I shouldn't expect them to pop up all over the place. That was a rare occurrence...I suppose I could give it a visit, but it's the total opposite direction." As he had a conversation with himself he looked down at the ground, watching his feet switch positions as he trekked along.
After awhile, something caught his attention: footprints in the snow. "Huh?" He wasn't sure how to react, after all in the digital world they could belong to anyone, human or digimon. However as he looked up he saw a silhouette in the distance, it looked like a girl walking by herself! Well at least someone else in this place was as crazy as Junjo. The snow was starting to pick up to what seemed like a blizzard.
"Hm, I better digivolve so I can catch up to them, they might need help!"
"Allow me." A voice in Junjo's head spoke with some certainty. The young man wasn't sure if this would work but with his spirit's approval he thought he'd give it a go.
He pulled out his brightly colored D-Tector as well as held up his other hand. Green fractals of data started to spin around his free hand.
"Execute!" The war-cry of a spirit user. He swiped the code against the scanner on the end of the D-Tector to initiate the process. The symbol for wood appeared on the screen in green light, then overlayed with the outline of fairy-like totem.
"Spirit evolution!" uttering this phrase initiated the transformation. A spiral of wind and green lights curled around Junjo, enveloping his body. Once it dispersed it left an elegant looking digimon with a vizor, armored legs and shoulders, large wings and green hair.
"Kimorimon!" And the transformation was done, now it was time to catch up to the shadow up ahead. He lifted up off of the ground, his wings allowing him to fly close to the ground at a speed much faster than his legs had carried him. Hopefully they wouldn't freeze!
Soon enough he was close enough to the girl to make out her appearance. What on earth was she wearing? Wasn't she cold!
Kimorimon's voice was deeper and commanded a bit more presence than Junjo's soft voice. He called out to her as he approached.
"Excuse me? I saw you from a distance. Do you need any assistance?" Maybe she didn't, maybe Junjo should've minded his own business, only time would tell.

An extremely irascible girl, trodding through a seemingly endless white expanse, her anger barely contained and waiting for the smallest opportunity to pour through the meager vessel that hopelessly held it. Fancy words aside, Junko was slowly getting used to being alone with her thoughts, and maybe, just maybe, she’d once again find a semblance of peace in the otherwise messy predicament she found herself in. It didn’t escape her that things could’ve been different if she had acted truer to herself, but it was too late to dwell on that one.
It was then when she was brought from her reverie by some weird… fairy… person? that decided to approach her. The small girl turned around and stared at the newcomer with an impassive, if somewhat gloomy expression. In an act that was uncharacteristic of her, she waited until he was done with his piece before speaking. “Get lost.” She snarled, her expression still carved in ice. “Go play white knight for somebody else. Otherwise, ya might end up bein’ t’one that needs assistance.”
Her accent was thick, and her words, unkind. However, it was more than obvious that, as precious as her situation might’ve seemed to be, she wasn’t in the mood to deal with the courteous stranger and the strange mix of pity and charity he offered. In fact, it was doing wonders at rousing her even further.

Get lost.
Those words were a bit difficult for Junjo, or rather the spirit inhabiting his body, to take in. In fact, Kimorimon was shocked that someone would so quickly reject his assistance. "But-um..."
Was it just him or did it suddenly get a few degrees colder? He rubbed his arms as he floated there. "Icy..." He muttered to himself but quickly returned to his at least semi-stoic expression.
"Um, it's a long way to the next village and not that it's any of my business but the way that you're dressed...um, I mean..are you not cold? Really I don't mind helping out, with these wings I can get us there much faster!" He grinned, quite impressed with himself.
Though his intentions were pure, both Kimorimon and his user seemed dim to the fact that this girl wasn't in the mood to be saved. Maybe she was just anti-social? Maybe she wasn't good at making friends. Surely it couldn't be that she was just a raging little thing that was waiting for the chance to strike...could it?

After saying her piece, Juni turned again and hoped that was enough to be left alone. She didn’t take two steps before the digimon decided to speak again. At first, it seemed like the girl was quietly pondering the stranger’s insistence, but as she turned, it became quite clear that couldn’t be further away from the truth. The fairy would behold an expression that certainly was more at home in the face of a rabid animal than in a human.
“’N here I thought I was clear.” Her tone was subdued, but that made it all the more threatening; an icy gaze bore directly into the newcomer, just as a ring of fractal code began to stretch from her hand, along her body. A D-Tector could be seen in her hand as Junko’s body twisted and grew, emerging as a crimson dinosaur with teal spiky growths on her back.
The Tyranomon X stood at her full height, the predatory shine in her yellow eyes gleaming through as she focused on the now-smaller digimon in front. A raspy snarl escaped the creature’s jaws before she spun on herself with surprising quickness; the dinosaur’s sinewy tail carried a fair amount of momentum, and it fully intended to smash directly the other digimon’s body.
“Gonna scram now?” Hard to know if it was a relief or not that the Tyranomon’s tone was only a more guttural version of the one the girl had previously used. “It’s gonna get harder if ya get yer wings clipped, y’know?” Combat actions:
Junko evolved to Tyranomon X.
Tyranomon X used Bleeding Hollow
—Bleeding Hollow: Using a limb of their choice, this digimon mercilessly smashes their opponent, leaving them injured. If effective, the next time they're struck, they receive bonus damage. Cooldown: 1 post.

If it weren't for the fact that this person's attitude had Junjo on edge, he would be awed by the impressive form that she had taken. A huge dinosaur with bright colored spines and a powerful muscles. How cool! Was what he wanted to say, but then he as the spirit and the user realized that bulky tail was headed their way, that sentiment was lost.
"Whoa!" Kimorimon just barely leapt out of the way in time, the heavy tail coming so close that just the wind alone was enough to send him tumbling backwards, getting in a couple of good air rolls before he was able to stop himself.
"Ugh..." he grumbled as he waited for his head to stop spinning. Then he got angry. His proverbial feathers had been non-proverbially ruffled.
"Listen, we're just trying to be nice! You don't have to attack us!" The fairy digimon folded his arms into his chest and glared down at the dinosaur from behind its glowing vizor. Even despite this change in attitude of his own he shuddered at the thought of anything happening to his beautiful wings!
"You should apologize! It's not nice to accost someone like that unexpectedly, you could've really hurt us!"

He avoided her attack; it seemed like the fairy boy was quite fast! The Tyranomon looked at her opponent with disdain for a split second, not stopping the momentum of her attack for a second; after rotating her tail, the dinosaur gave a mighty jump to close the distance between herself and her enemy to continue her assault. Her claws emitted a dark glint through the dense snow as she swiped in a wide arc.
If caught in it, fairy boy’s midsection would certainly not have a good time. Of course, it was only then when Juni had time to process his words. She gnashed her teeth at them, her expression turned into one of distilled savagery.
“Why.” She said harshly. “Why don’t ya c’mere? Can’t say sorry if yer so far.”
It’d take somebody suicidally stupid to fall for her words, as it was obvious she was saying her more in an attempt to vent than to communicate. Even as she finished them, the Tyranomon X was readying herself to keep on riding the momentum of her attacks. Combat actions:
Juni is angry.
Active Passive abilities: —Abnormal Species [Passive Ability]: Physical, close-quarters damage dealt by Tyranomon X is increased by 40%.
Tyranomon X used Black Hand
—Black Hand: This digimon's whole body turns as sharp as obsidian before slashing, stabbing, or biting cruelly into a foe. Causes extra damage to unarmored targets. Cooldown: 1 post.

Distracted by his expectations, for that apology, he was caught off guard. Kimorimon felt his entire body twitch as he was hit hard in his midsection and sent flying backwards. This time he didn't have the wherewithal to stop himself from tumbling and crashed into the snowy ground.
He slowly pushed himself up from the snowy trench his body had dug out. "Agh..damn it.." He huffed, cold air biting his face as he analyzed his opponent. Clearly she wasn't in the mood to talk. And though Kimorimon should've retreated, Junjo on the other hand wasn't the type to let someone push him around! Unless it was a -certain- someone but they weren't here now!
"Fine." His body began to glow with a green light. "Let it be known that Kimorimon is no push over!" This green aura would strengthen his body, temporarily making him a bit more resistant to the red dinosaur's brutish strength.
I don't have long...
He rushed in for an attack, testing the waters.
"Fairy Flurry!" He fired off a round of three punches and three shot-gun kicks, aimed at the giant creatures body. Sure he was probably in for a world of pain seeing as he didn't feel like backing down, but at least he wouldn't go down without a fight!
Combat Actions:
Kimorimon was critically hit with Black Hand triggering his combat passive.
>>>Combat Passive: Iron Bark-If Kimorimon falls below 20% health or is critically hit this triggers his Iron Bark, boosting his defense by 40% for 2 turns, 2 post cool down. Cooldown 0/2

Second attack had hit squarely on the smaller digimon’s frame; the sight brought a measure of satisfaction to the Tyranomon X, all the while encouraging further violence. There was blood in the water now, figuratively speaking.
The dinosaur stared directly at her opponent. She honestly didn’t care if the fairy guy was a pushover or not, just like she had given him a chance to escape and he had decided to stand his ground… whatever the reason for that was. She met his advance head on, doing her best to cover about the following flurry of attacks; of course, given their sheer speed, there was not much she could do actually defend, and even if she had held her ground, the damage the attack done was evident.
A rabid snarl came out from her throat as she advanced relentlessly, her intent being to keep the assault for as long as her body would let her do so; the dinosaur’s tactics weren’t precisely abounding in finesse, but they had tenacity in spades. And, at least in her mind, she didn’t see herself losing a fight if it remained close and personal.
This time, her jaws opened wide in an attempt to close into the fairy’s body and deal as much damage as she could. Combat actions:
Tyranomon X got hit by Fairy Flurry.
Active Passive abilities: —Abnormal Species [Passive Ability]: Physical, close-quarters damage dealt by Tyranomon X is increased by 40%.
Tyranomon X used Bleeding Hollow

Each attack seemed to land upon the red dino-digi, and though the damage was obvious, Kimorimon felt as though it was going to take a lot more than that to bring down an opponent this tough. He could feel his bones and muscles vibrating under his skin from the force that the successive impacts against tough skin had caused.
Like a minnow staring down the gullet of a shark, Tyranomon X's huge, dangerous jaws lunged forwards in an attempt to crunch down on the fairy digimon's body.
She's faster than she looks! His thought as the fatal maw closed in. He had to get out of the way and quickly.
He jumped back, but his reaction time had been skewed by the explosive fangs. Though his torso made it's way out of her clutches, the upper portion of his legs failed to evade the pressure.
He growled in pain as she clamped down. His mind began to race. He hadn't fought someone this strong on his own before, and without having bonded with his next spirit, he couldn't see much of an outcome where he came out of this unscathed. If it wasn't for Iron Bark, he would've been in a much worse position.
Trying to think quick on his feet, he thrust his palms forwards, aimed right at the dinosaurs massive head. They began to glow with green energy, of which formed swiftly into an orb of light with sharp spines whirling around it.
"Thorn Bomb!" In a bright flash he fired it towards Tyranomon X, and if it collided it would explode on impact, firing it's thorns outwards.
Combat Actions:
Kimorimon was hit by Bleeding Hollow // Boosted: Abnormal Species
>>> Kimorimon's Iron Bark nullified the boost from Abnormal Species. [[If Kimorimon falls below 20% health or is critically hit this triggers his Iron Bark, boosting his defense by 40% for 2 turns, 2 post cool down.]] Cooldown 1/2
>>> Kimorimon used Thorn Bomb - Kimorimon summons a bright green ball of energy and then surrounds it with spiky thorns. Upon impact with the enemy or an object the orb explodes, firing its thorns outwards. Cooldown: 1 post
Fairy Flurry Cooldown: 1/1 //Ready next post//

By now, it was fair to say that the entity that was composed by Junko and her spirit was more animal than human. Credit it to her circumstances, but letting go of thought and fully embracing her spirit’s instinct had been a more than tempting thought for quite some time, and this situation had finally triggered it, at least temporarily.
The feeling of clamping her teeth on what she had deemed as her prey gave the dinosaur more satisfaction than what she had thought possible to feel, even if the event on itself was fairly short-lived. Kimorimon was giving one hell of a fight, and at least for the time being, that fact was unchanging. Given how the Tyranomon was at point-blank range, the fairy’s attack had next to zero chances of missing. The aptly-named Thorn Bomb collided directly with the Tyranomon, and the subsequent thorns made her stagger. In her confusion, she released her grip while she gathered her bearings.
Blood trickled freely from the newly opened wounds; but even then, the dinosaur’s single-mindedness remained as strong as it had been. A howl of fury escaped her throat before Junko launched herself towards her opponent once again. This time, instead of a single, powerful attack, she began to claw at the fairy with surprising speed, and while the attacks were individually weaker than anything thrown at the Kimorimon thus far, they were fair more damaging when put together.
At this point, it was fairly certain that the pressure wouldn’t stop unless the rabid dinosaur was knocked out, and at least for the time being, her wounds hadn’t had enough time to tire her out. What would Junjo do about it?
Combat actions:
Tyranomon X got hit by Thorn Bomb
Active Passive abilities: —Abnormal Species [Passive Ability]: Physical, close-quarters damage dealt by Tyranomon X is increased by 40%.
Tyranomon X used Shattered Hand
—Shattered Hand: A feral screech is shortly followed by a flurry of aggression. Deals damage according to how much punishment Tyranomon X has withstood in the last two posts. Cooldown: 3 posts.
Bleeding Hollow's cooldown: 0/1 (Ready next post).

The massive dinosaur became confused in the aftermath of the fairy digimon's bright and explosive attack. He was released from the strength of her vicious jaws and fell to the ground; his legs were stinging with an intense pressure unlike anything he'd ever felt before.
He breathed heavily as the cold snow soaked into his clothing and hair. But he didn't have time to rest, Tyranomon X's attacks were relentless and more effective due to the damage it had sustained.
The onslaught of attacks hit Kimorimon, he tried to jump out of the way but he was too injured to get away. He took each hit and flew back into a large glacier sticking out of the ground. It shattered, chunks of ice flung around.
"Gh--!" He laid against the only chunk still sticking out of the ground and and held his sides as they twinged.
Junjo...let's just retreat. It's not worth taking any more damage.
"No...I'm not gonna...quit!" He forced himself up from the ground. "She won't stop anyway unless we force her." He stood there and took a deep breath.
"Alright, but if it gets too hairy you have to promise me that you'll retreat. I don't want to spend another century waiting for another worthy vessel."
I promise.
He lowered his hands to his sides and breathed deeply.
"Ancestral Ward."
A teal colored aura washed over the fairy, his body mending it's wounds.
He pointed at the dino as he feigned confidence. "Well, come on then! Show me what else you've got you overgrown lizard!"
Combat Actions:
Kimorimon was hit by Shattered Hand // Boosted: Abnormal Species
>>> Kimorimon's Iron Bark faded. [[If Kimorimon falls below 20% health or is critically hit this triggers his Iron Bark, boosting his defense by 40% for 2 turns, 2 post cool down.]] Cooldown: 2/2 >> Ready Next Post.
>>> Thorn Bomb - Cooldown: 1/1 >> Ready Next Post.
>> Kimorimon used Ancestral Ward: As a wood element their connection with the spirits of the forest is strong. This connection allows them to build up spiritual energy over time and store it within their code. The digimon can release this energy in the form of a teal colored aura that fully restores HP and cleanses negative status conditions. It can be used at the digimon's discretion, otherwise it will trigger in a situation where the user would be downed. Once Per Thread. (Only for self use.)

The Tyranomon gazed onward; her enemy was still in front of her, even though notably worse for wear. He couldn’t keep on fighting for much longer, could he? It was true that he had a notable advantage in maneuverability, but that wasn’t helping him a lot at the moment. The dinosaur gazed onward and beheld the healing ability that followed; just like that, the fairy seemed to be back in tip-top shape, and ready to fight again.
Wasn’t that delightful? It meant that the fight could go on for even longer now. Barely able to contain her excitement, the bloodied beast roared. It was louder and more ferocious than any of her previous bellows. Her gaze was affixed on her quarry, but at least for the time being, it seemed like the Tyranomon was exercising caution, weirdly enough. Her muscles were taut and it seemed like she was ready to pounce on Kimorimon at any moment, however.
Would the winged digimon seize this rare moment of initiative? Or would he maintain his position? Maybe something else? Right now, it was impossible to know, but contemplating any possibility only resulted in the growth of the dinosaur’s eagerness.
Combat actions:
Tyranomon X doesn't receive damage this turn.
Active Passive abilities: Tyranomon X used War Song
—War Song: After letting out a ferocious roar, the combat abilities of this digimon are heightened greatly. Beginning the post after this ability has been used, the damage this digimon would deal is increased by 100% and their abilities and attacks become unerring. Unerring abilities ignore any ability that would reduce or negate the damage they would deal, and abilities that'd help the defender predict or dodge this digimon's attacks more easily. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 3 posts.

Though he was healed and ready to go, Kimorimon found himself a bit nervous that the dinosaur had yet to attack him again.
Was this beast like spirit user starting to strategize? With that kind of power the thought was terrifying.
He stood there in silence, the monstrous howl still ringing in his ears. Maybe if he could distract the big red menace then he would have a chance to get in for a powerful blow. He whisked his hands up in front of him, that familiar ball of energy manifesting again.
"Thorn Bomb!" The green orb fired at high speed towards Tyrannomon, and while it traveled Kimorimon followed not too far behind it, dashing after the red digimon in hopes of a surprise attack from behind the initial blow.

That was it! The dinosaur could feel her blood quickening as her foe charged towards her. “Tha’s it! C’mere!” She growled, more than prepare to, once again, receive the attack head on; granted, this reckless strategy wouldn’t make her last a lot more, but hopefully that wouldn’t be necessary, considering what was about to happen.
Thorn Bomb was an attack she had experienced before, and that made her familiar with the subsequent pain that the explosive plus the following thorns provided, even though that didn’t make the attack any easier to bear by any measure. Exhaustion and injuries were beginning to weigh her down, yet that wouldn’t mean she’d go down easily. Considering that Kimorimon was going straight after herself the Tyranomon readied herself and dashed forward; she howled in a terrifying fashion, rushed forward and clamped her jaws down with an extreme amount of force.
Should the fairy find himself in the way of the attack, things wouldn’t be pretty. At least in the predator’s mind, what happened next would probably dictate how the rest of the fight would go. Combat actions:
Tyranomon X got hit by Thorn Bomb
Active Passive abilities: —Abnormal Species [Passive Ability]: Physical, close-quarters damage dealt by Tyranomon X is increased by 40%.
Combat modifiers: —War Song: Damage dealt increased by 100%. Attacks are unerring.
Tyranomon X used Hell Scream.
—Hell Scream [RAM UPGRADE]: A howl of unbridled rage is followed by Tyranomon X’s most devastating attack, their jaws closing in with so much strength they are able to immediately shatter lesser beings into pieces. Deals damage equal to twice the total amount of damage they've received since the fight began. Damage that was healed still counts for this ability's purposes. This move ignores any and all defensive measures that may be used against it, and, if successful at defeating an opponent, it negates any kind of ability that may bring them back to fighting shape. Cooldown: Once per thread. 5 posts if it fails to hit its intended target.
War Song's duration: 1/3.
