Skills/Talents:
- Adaptability Incarnate: Hunter is very, very good at using her own loaded skills to her advantage, to the point where she is known to seek out the techniques she desires correctly. In her hands, loaded techniques are just as natural and effective as they were to their original owner.
- Hunting: Hunter's name was acquired, not given. Hunter is an impressive tracker, able to get in close and initiate fights at her preferred range.
- Heartless: There's no pity left to give, no tears left to sway. Unless your remorse serves her purpose, Hunter will only find joy in it.
Inventory:
- Various travel essentials, as necessary,
- A single aged, green, cloth wristband. Whatever logo was on it has been torn away.
Personality:
Hunter has the personality of a feral hunter.
She’s patient. The MeiCrackmon has an ‘eye for the room’ and has learned how to use silence to her advantage: keeping an ear open for any piece of useful information, or for any weaknesses that she could later exploit.
She’s flighty and somewhat paranoid. As a ‘hunter’ in the main cities of the Digital World, Hunter has to be careful to cover her own tracks, so much so that if she even expects that her identity or intents or compromised, she will try to leave and distance herself as quickly as possible.
She loves combat. After losing everything else, the thrill of the hunt and seeking her next meal are her driving factors, just as it was when she was a Meicoomon. She lives to feel the burn in her arms, and the accomplishment of catching her next meal. And in that same vein?
She’s self-serving. The MeiCrackmon doesn’t see many as ‘equals’, instead seeing others as either ‘weaklings’ or ‘those worthy of her claws’.
And she’s hopelessly greedy. The sin of loading the data of deleted Digimon no longer weighs heavy on her mind, rather seeing others as opportunities to ‘better herself’.
She’s a MeiCrackmon, through and through – and she’s a terribly efficient one, at that.
Personal History:
I’m a MeiCrackmon.
Too short? I promise, by the end of this, that will explain everything. Once upon a time, I was but a Meicoomon, surviving off the wilds in the forests of the Dark Area. Terrifying times – I lived by my stinger and my wits, in that feral battle of strength. Narrow victories, narrower escapes… I knew nothing but that life for years. But one day, a chance happened upon me, an Impmon and a Falcomon happening upon me, each wearing some weird wristband.
Wristbands, I would later learn, that came directly from the mission guild. And compared to the prey of the forest, these two outclassed them in every facet. Powerful evolutions, precise attacks – for the first time, I was driven solidly into a corner. I was hunted – and yet, I was spared. I didn’t know what it was in that moment, but those two saw something in me.
And that something would lead me to what I would bitterly call the best year of my life. I joined them. I became part of the mission guild – and I grew to like them. Olive the Impmon, Jet the Falcomon – I felt like I could trust them. And through them, I learned what it was like to live in Whitewater, to ‘help’, and to act in ‘missions’. If that was where it ended, there wouldn’t be a story left to tell… but there was an accident during one of my jobs. Something happened, outside the corner of my eye – and where Olive was once before, there was nothing left but a cloud of data.
To this day, I couldn’t tell you what happened next. I remember feelings, I remember sensations. The surge of my MeiCrackmon form, the feel of flesh split by my claws, the fire in my chest as I labored for breath… and when I came to? I saw Jet, mired in a sea of blue, scattered data, a terrified look in the bird’s eyes before he took off – a dark streak vanishing into the night sky.
I never saw them again. When I next tried to return to the mission guild, as I was, I was barred from the gate – and Whitewater’s pissant guards tried to hold me down. Detain me, hold me for ‘questioning’. But at that point, I knew better. I didn’t stick around, and after throwing one into the other, I left the city. After all, I was a ‘Mei’ – a bloodthirsty Digimon who sought out prey to further their own power.
And you know what? After that shit? I liked it. It fit, it felt nice… and there might have been a few bumps in the road after that – but it brings us back to today. And though those dark woods have been left behind long ago, I remain a Hunter.
I’m a MeiCrackmon. And its exactly what you think its about.

Rookie
Species: Salamon
Appearance:
Attribute: Vaccine
Family: Virus Buster
Type: Mammal
Fighting Style: This level is below Hunter's comfort level for combat, and as such does not have a refined fighting style. Unless the situation arises for a finishing blow, Hunter as a Salamon will remain entirely on the defensive and try to withdraw from the fight, or try to recuperate her energy.
Abilities:
- Holy Flashbang: Hunter prepares and fires a short range holy shot from her fangs, closing her eyes as the incandescent flash detonates in front of her. Imparts a blinding effect on those who see the attack. One post duration, two post cooldown.
- Maim: Using repurposed data from a loaded poison-type Digimon, Hunter swipes at the ankles of a nearby target. The damage is comparatively low - about half that of a normal move - but to an organic Digimon, the perceived pain from this attack is equivalent to 1000% of the damage dealt. One post cooldown.
- Holy Blaster: These are short ranged energy blasts, fired from Hunter's fangs. Deals minor holy damage. This technique has zero cooldown, and as such can be used consecutively to try and corner opponents - or screen them off from approaching entirely.
- Puppy Howling: The signature technique of a Salamon! The user lets out a high-pitched bark that rattles through the ears of a single target in front of the user. Upon landing, the opponent's ears rattle, theoretically freezing them in place for a follow-up attack. One post duration, three post cooldown.

Species: Meicoomon
Appearance:
Attribute: Virus
Family: Nature Spirits
Type: Chimeric Entity
Fighting Style: This is the lowest-level form that Hunter can reliably fight in - from here, Hunter starts to show her stuff. Her preferred style is a hit-and-run, intent on inflicting as much damage as possible with her stinger - hidden at the tip of her tail - to subdue her opponents. She has no qualms against aiming directly for vital points, either.
Abilities:
- Devour: Hunter plants a hand on a target. If successful, the target's wireframe data, as well as Hunter's, is briefly shown. Hunter then gains the ability to use one of the last two abilities used by the target - her ability to use the technique is expended after its use. She can also (instead) copy any passive ability - passive abilities only apply for three posts, and she must be at least vaguely aware of a Passive Ability's existence to use Devour in this way. Cooldown for an active technique is normal cooldown + 1, before Devour can be re-used. Cooldown for a passive is 3. Ultimate techniques are exempt.
- Malice: The combined data of a warrior Digimon's energy with Hunter's claws. Upon activation, blades are constructed on the edges of the Meicoomon's claws. Each blade is crimson in color, and extends outwards two feet in length. She can also use this effect at range by swiping one of her claws, and sending out an energy projectile shaped like a crimson arc. Max range: 15 Feet. (In effect, this is a zero cooldown move, and the claws are only active the turns in which Malice is used - it cannot overlap usage with any other technique, but can be used continuously if no other moves are used. The move extends her basic attack range and allows it to deal slashing, spectral damage.)
- Invocation: Obtained by loading a Holy Ring. Upon execution, a holy ring appears under Hunter's feet. For the duration of the post, Hunter gains herculean strength, empowering her next basic attack. If the effort is not expended through a basic attack, the effectiveness of her next technique is doubled. Three post cooldown, regardless of the use case.
- Draconic Shout: A combination of Puppy Howling and draconic Digimon data. Hunter squares her stance, and gives a high-pitched roar towards her target. Upon landing, the opponent's ears rattle, theoretically freezing them in place for a follow-up attack. One post duration, three post cooldown.
- Laser Discharge: Learned by incorporating the data of a machine Digimon. Hunter's defensive 'get off me' technique. Hunter slams both of her palms against the ground, and charges electricity in through her own system. A powerful electrical discharge is sent out within five feet of herself, lightly damaging targets and forcing foes away with a concussive blast. Two post cooldown.
- Dark Stinger: Hunter reveals a dangerous purple stinger from within her tail, and stabs into a target. If successful, a virus is injected into the target, causing severe damage and crippling pain over the next post. One post duration, three post cooldown.

Species: Meicrackmon [Vicious Mode]
Appearance:
Attribute: Virus
Family: Nature Spirit
Type: Chimeric Entity
Fighting Style: Aggressive. Straightforward. Confident. Efficient. Her goal is to rip her opponent to shreds, and she's not about to pretend its about anything else.
Abilities:
- [Passive] Devour: The upgraded version of Hunter's Devour skill, Hunter no longer needs to consciously activate the technique. Upon making physical contact with the enemy - offensively or defensively - this ability is replaced with one of the last two techniques that her opponent used. Devour cannot reactivate until that skill is used, at which point Devour will be on cooldown. As before, Devour can also steal a passive ability, which remains active for three posts. She must be at least vaguely aware of a Passive Ability's existence before using Devour in this way. Cooldown for an active technique is normal cooldown + 1, before Devour can be re-used. Cooldown for a passive is 3 posts. Ultimate techniques are exempt.
- [Passive] Holy Invocation: Once a proud angel's courage. The upgraded version of Hunter's Invocation Skill. Up to three times per combat, Hunter can empower either her next technique, or next basic attack. Three post cooldown between expended charges. Three maximum charges per instance of combat.
- Enhanced Malice: The true form of the lost warrior's skill. The upgraded version of Hunter's Malice skill. As before, Hunter enhances the nails on her gauntlet, becoming an incredible five feet in length from each claw. And, just as before, Hunter can swipe one of these claws and send out an energy projectile shaped like a crimson arc. Max range: 100 Feet. (In effect, this is a zero cooldown move, and the claws are only active the turns in which Malice is used - it cannot overlap usage with any other technique, but can be used continuously if no other moves are used. The move extends her basic attack range and allows it to deal slashing, spectral damage.)
- Laser Circus: Hunter's favorite technique, and the mastered form of Laser Discharge. The mirror in each of the Meicrackmon's gauntlets, as well as the tip of Meicrackmon's tail, pulse with a powerful energy, before letting out a long, straight beam attack - a red beam from each laser, and a purple beam from her tail. For a two post duration, these lasers are constantly emitted with a maximum range of 100 feet, dealing heavy searing and electrical damage on contact. Given that the attack is a continuous stream, multiple lasers can be focused on a single target, potentially able to cook the target alive. Two post duration, three post cooldown.
- Fractal Shout: Puppy Howling, plus draconic data energy, plus Keramon data. An upgrade to Draconic Shout - except this time, the sound waves are laden with viral energy. A direct hit, point-blank with this technique, will force the target's data into phase - locking up their entire body for a potential follow-up attack. One post duration, three post cooldown.
- Dark Force: Once a proud demon's barrier. Hunter's new 'get off me' technique. Her eyes flare, and a short-lived dark concussive blast of energy erupts from the center of her body. This is a powerful, admittedly short range, concussive blast that throws away close-range fighters and physical projectiles alike. Two Post Cooldown.
- Fatal Stinger: Hunter reveals a dangerous purple stinger from within her tail, and stabs into a target. If successful, a virus is injected into the target, causing severe damage and crippling pain over the next post. This technique now heals Hunter for 50% of the damage dealt. One post duration, three post cooldown.

- Sheer Ruthlessness: Hunter imbues her claws in a viral energy, and strikes directly at a target. This low-damaging attack infects energy barriers, crumbling them to trash data in a sheer instance. If this technique succeeds in destroying a barrier, her next technique is doubled in power. Three post cooldown. Cannot enhance an Ultimate.]
- [Ultimate] Dragonsong: Granted from the data of an impossibly strong dragon. On execution, Hunter's fur hardens into powerful dragonscales. She gains armor equivalent to gold Digizoid, and her power output during the skill's effect triples. Three post duration. Once per thread.
