The Valley of dragons, it had been a while since Alpha came here for a mission. From what he could tell it was a very dangerous place with a lot of dragons that fought with one another constantly, tribes testing themselves against one another. Definitely not somewhere he thought he would ever be. His eyes followed the floor rather than looking where he was going, not in the best mood due to Prior events.
Ciel lead in front of him, the Sistermon looking around the area, she apparently knew the area quite well much to Alpha's surprise. Walking near the large canyon, glancing down at the area below. "Alright, it should be right around here. C'mon Alpha." Ciel said as she took a step forward and jumped off the cliff.
Eyes wide Alpha ran over to the cliff looking over it, just to see Ciel had landed on a ledge a few feet below them. "You could've warned me first!" Alpha shouted as he jumped down, getting caught by the Sistermon and placed on the ground.
"What you'd think I would've just jumped for no reason?" Before Alpha could retort though the two of them felt a presence next to them, looking over two digimon of the Dragon's Roar family were standing in front of them, a Blue Coredramon and a Growlmon. Alpha backed off a bit but Ciel didn't seem much too worried about it.
"You two, state your buisness here!" The Growlmon demanded looking imposing over the two smaller digimon.
Alpha wanted to evolve into Logamon, BaoHackmon. Either or but he couldn't at the moment, his emotional state was still a wreak but he had to do something right? As he thought of that Ciel put her arm in front of Alpha and just stepped forward.
"We're here to see your boss, she's expecting me by now I imagine, Ciel." There wasn't even a hint of fear in her voice as she stared these digimon down. Walking closer the Growlmon was about to say something but was quickly interrupted by his associate.
"That sword... Ahh I see, it's the bosses girlfriend! Been a long time since you've come around." The Coredramon said seeing the greatsword on Ciel's back. "You weren't a guard when she came around, beat the tar outta at least 10 of us before the boss came to talk to her. It was quite the sight to behold." Patting the Growlmon on the back with a smile, instantly the tension of the situation was lost.
And replaced with confusion as Alpha looked up at Ciel who seemed a bit embarrassed. "Girlfriend?"
"Ex-Girlfriend, we haven't been together for at least 40 years now. It was way before I met Jes, Please don't ask." Ciel clarified looking back over at the Coredramon with a no so nice look.
Raising his hands in the air the digimon let out an awkward laugh. "Right, Right sorry. That's just how everyone in the tribe remembers you. Hard to forget a digimon that isn't a dragon living round here, the Boss has been dying to see you again. C'mon I'll take you two." Motioning them to further down the valley he patted the Growlmon on the back telling him he'll be right back as he lead the two of them down the valley and towards a rather large area with a massive cave further back and a large ledge overhead shielding those under from anything above.
It was a rather decently sized tribe, all Dragon digimon of course save for one or two stragglers it seemed, overall it seemed quite calm much to Alpha's surprise. Some digimon seemed to be training, others just generally talking with a few getting healed. Alpha and Ciel seemed to draw attention to themselves but as they walked some of the older dragon's seemed to tell them who Ciel was, seems she is well known around here.
Entering the large cave lit up with the light from outside and a few torches eventually they came upon a large open area, the ceiling was quite high up and there was a few tough looking champion level digimon littered around the area, with one digimon in the center sitting down. A RizeGreymon X who had their eyes closed as Ciel and Alpha walked in.
"So, Ciel. Finally you decide to show yourself here again. How long has it been, four, five years?" A surprisingly feminine voice came out, reminding Alpha of Beta. Rising from her seat the ultimate level digimon moved over to the two of them, towering over Alpha and Ciel staring down at them for a few moments before bending down, grabbing Ciel's shoulder before...
"The hell Ciel? Five years without so much as a message or a visit!? That's just plain rude, I know you're caught up with that Jesmon and all but couldn't leave any time for little old me?" Despite the words she seemed to have a smile on her face, though opening her eyes she quickly saw the downcast looks of Alpha and Ciel and her tone changed instantly.
"Ciel, what happened. Who's this digimon with you. Is he." The Boss' tone was a lot more light, worry was pretty evident in her voice as she let go of Ciel backing off a bit.
"It's a long story, I'll try and explain it the best I can." Which Ciel did, all the agonizing details of what had gone on with the whole Myotismon situation, Alpha and his sisters past and exactly why Ciel hadn't visited in so long.
The RizeGreymon X sat there for a few moments with her eyes closed, having listened to everything Ciel had said she gave a small nod before simply stating. "I'm going to murder him." The Boss said as she walked past Ciel and Alpha, both turning to her looking surprised. "Alright, gather up. We're going hunting for a psychotic Myotismon. Leave the Rear guard here and follow m-"
"You can't do that!"
Ciel and the Boss both stopped and looked over at Alpha as he shouted that out, head down low and his eyes wide, almost surprised at his own voice. "I-I. No, Me and Beta. We're going to be the ones to fight him, no one else." Alpha recalled that promise he made to Beta, he couldn't break it.
"Look, Alpha was it? This situation is beyond you at the moment. There's no shame in a warrior requiring help. Let us handle this, we're more then capable of beating h-"
"It's, That's a promise I made to Beta, I swore to her we would take him down together. I can't let that be a lie as well!" Alpha was still facing the ground but his eyes seemed to be tearing up a bit, not wanting to face either Ciel or the Ultimate level digimon. "I can't let it be another lie, I won't let that become a lie."
Ciel bent down next to Alpha, patting him on the back. "He's torn up about lying to Beta for so long, having all that happen to her gave her nightmares. She's even afraid of falling asleep. If they don't beat him themselves, they might never be able to get over it." Ciel knew how they felt, despite not being truly related to them she did care deeply about them.
The Boss sighed, shaking her head. "Alright, alright. I'll hold off on that for now. But in exchange for that you have to let me figure out how to get to him, deal?" She couldn't believe she was haggling with a kid but here she was.
"No, I should handle it on m-"
"Look, no offence but you're one kid stretching himself too thin, I have digimon that can look for information, I know digimon from the other tribes I can talk to. All things you don't have. Just trust me Alpha if we find him we won't engage. Meanwhile you can stay here and prepare for that fight, deal?" She asked again looking down at the rookie digimon.
"....Alright yeah I don't have a response, deal. But if you find him you have to tell me. I'm not letting him get away!" The Boss nodded with a smile, bending down low and patting Alpha on the head.
"Alright, now that's settled. Ciel, what do you plan on doing? Wanna come looking with me for old times sake?"
"Sorry but I think I need to do some preparing on my own for now, As I am I doubt I'll be of much help. My encounter with him yesterday made that clear. I know what I have to do now." Ciel gripped her katana tight, using the other hand to pat Alpha on the head right after the Boss did, much to Alpha's annoyance. "Take care Alpha, I promise when you need me I will return."
With that, three different things were started. Alpha was left to train with the Dragon's guards, the Boss started her search for clues on this Myotismon and Ciel left back for the house to obtain something she knew she needed more then ever.
