As Ryouta poured the water in the mound where Ayaka was, her body started to relax. She welcomed the cool liquid's embrace and closed her eyes in a expression of pure bliss.
Mana was having a really difficult time there at the bench, and Babydmon's lack of answers to her questions only worsened that greatly. She started sobbing, not daring to open her eyes and see the fate of her partner, but already fearing to worst. Well, at least until Ryouta said that she was alright and that he already had watered her, and that Ayaka was the one actually worrying for her, and that it would be the best for the little digimon if she simply calmed down a little. Mana wiped her tears, and after sniffling her remaining tears and a sighing, she somewhat calmed down.
"I'm being way too childish, aren't I? I thought that Ayaka would choke herself if I buried her, but what's pulling her back it's me... I'm supposed to look after her, but the only things that I've done so far were crying and asking someone else to do my job for me..." she felt ashamed of herself, but that would be a thought for later. She opened her eyes and ran to where the little Plumulmon was, and as she approached, she started a irradiate a blinding white light that almost made her lose her footing. And when it disappeared, the little seedling was no more. Now it was a strange mix between an onion an a closed water lily, having the bulbous body of the former and the color and beauty of the latter. Mana ran even faster to her and not caring about staining her clothes with dirt, she hugged the bigger, albeit still small digimon. Ayaka blushed and reacted awkwardly at the sudden contact.
"M-Miss Mana!" she exclaimed "A lady such as you should not be getting her hands nor clothes dirty by doing things like this!"
"Oh, Ayaka... I'm so sorry. I was the one at fault all this time, wasn't I?" she hugged the digimon even more tightly.
"W-well, you now are asphyxiating me, miss Mana... W-would you please?"
"Right, I'm sorry" she apologized, then looked at the boy who had made all this possible "Thank you so much, Ryouta-san, What you did for me was so kindhearted of you. I hope I can ever return you the favor" As Ayaka bowed to thank the boy too, Mana realized that they weren't alone in the park. There was also a little girl with a blue doglike digimon
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't notice you two earlier! Err, my name's Tsumura Mana, and this is Ayaka. Nice to meet you!" But then Ayaka started whispering to her.
"Miss Mana, they already introduced themselves while you weren't looking. The girl's called Ann and her digimon's Treat. Ryouta-san also already introduced us too"
"Oh, really? I'm sorry!" she apologized again. "So, wanna eat something? I've got food to spare!"

Everyone was introduced to Ann and Treat, both still rather confused by the fact that there was a digimon being buried. The explanation given didn't help too much, but when Mana noticed they were there, both human and digimon decided to drop the subject.
"It's fine, don't worry about it." Ann replied with a warm smile when Mana apologized to her and Treat " And thank you for the offer, but we just ate, right Treat?"
"Oh, yes of course my princess." Treat answered, returning from his absent-mindeness. "It's just... Mana, Ryouta , you became tamers rather recently haven't you?"
" What's makes you say that?" Ann asked
"Well, her partner just evolved to In-training. Remember the last time I was at the Fresh level?"
"Oh right, you were so cute just lying around in my bed all greenie and all. But that was the day you hatched wasn't it?"
"Yep and I never returned to that stage and with very good reasons. So, if Mana's digimon was fresh now both her and Babydmon are in-training, then I suppose they have become taamers recently."

"Yeah, your partner's right over there, Ann. I'm just a newbie. I got mine from two day ago, so we're in no where close to pro or veteran. Babydmon seem to need quite a while for him to evolves to the next level, but that's fine. They said, it's better to repeat fundamental, basic steps and knows it by heart than skipping from A to C and then don't know what's the fundamental basic step is," Ryouta reasoned.
When Babydmon saw that Mana has finally settled down from her hysteria, he relaxed. It's sure quite nerverwrecking, but once the young girl settled, it felt very worth it. Ryouta grinned happily at the younger girl who he just helped. Yeah, this much is fine already.
"Well, now that's done, I'll go ahead and buy some drinks."
Ryouta retreated to the nearest vending machine and bought two bottles of mineral water.

At Ann’s negative of her offering, Mana just shrugged.
“Well, if you don’t want any…” She sat on the park’s soft grass and unpacked the humongous amounts of food she had brought to the park. While she did so, she regarded Ayaka for a second.
“You Seem to have a mouth now. Maybe you’ll eat something this time? Or you still feed on the sun and those plantlike things?”
The Cormon seemed somewhat offended by the carelessness of the question, but expression betrayed almost nothing.
“I can do both now, miss Mana” she simply replied. “Although I really prefer the sun’s rays to some kind artificial food, I guess I just cannot depend on it for all my sustenance”
Mana’s expression lightened as she smiled to the little digimon.
“Alrighty! Then you’ll have to taste this!” she said while practically shoved an onigiri on the Cormon’s mouth.
She then heard Treat’s question, and smiled at him.
“Oh right! Yeah, I just got Ayaka yesterday afternoon. She was only a little seed, and now she’s an onion… water lily… thing” she quickly corrected herself once she noted that Ayaka was giving her weird looks “I’m not saying it on a bad way! You’re still cute in that form. But I just wonder in what you’ll become when you evolve further”
She then saw how Ryouta left the scene to buy some water. She shrugged
“Well, it seems nobody wants this” she took a drink from her Ramune “Better for me, I guess…So, Ann-san, how long have you been a tamer? You seem to be quite experienced”
Mana didn’t know if the little girl was really experienced or not, but her partner was more evolved than both Ryouta's and hers, and that at least should mean something.

When Ann denied Mana's offer, she simply Sat down and began to eat, before questioning her partner if she ate "normal" food now as well. Ann looked at Treat as if trying to imagine what he ate before his first evolution. She never really had the time to see for herself, as Treat evolved that very afternoon. Ann witnessed as Mana almost forced the food into Ayaka.
After that, Ryouta was the first to confirm Treat's suspicions, followed by Mana, who also confirmed to only recently have become a tamer. When Ryouta went to get drinks, Mana posed a question to Ann which made her have to think for a moment. She and Treat had had some adventures together, met a few nice people and other not so nice people, thougth no one worse than Ironymon, who still gave them both nightmares, despite the fact that with Treat this nightmares came from guilt rather than from fear.
Treat saw her partner was hesitating to answer the question, so he decided to do it himself.
"I was born about a month ago." he said"But we did live our share of thrills over it."
Ann seemed to snap out of her thoughts when Treat answered and so she took the chance to ask a question herself.
"First, you don't have to call me "Ann-san", you can just call me Ann if you want to, Mana." She began "Second, are you sure you wanna talk here? Me an Treat found a lovely spot back there in the middle if the trees, and I think there people coming. I managed to fool people into thinking Treat isjust my puppy, but I think your partners aren't gonna be so easy to disguice."

Ryouta returned with his mineral water bottles. He opened a small one for his little partner to drink while he himself drink the one with the same size as the one he gave Ayaka. Carbonated soda after jogging is not a really good idea. It's seem that Ann and Mana already started a conversation when he returned. Babydmon stays silent, probably because he's still a passive guy afterall...
"Hey, ladies. Did I disturb your talk?" he asked. The park seem getting more and more crowded by moments... Ryouta turned to Ann who suggested that they should go to better place, probably much hidden from public view. The teen nodded at the suggestion.
"That one, I agree. I don't think the Digimons are going to appreciate being stored in bag like dolls for over long period of time... Let's do that?"

Both Mana and Ayaka listened to the pairs’ words carefully. Mana thought that Ann was maybe a little too thoughtful. Maybe she had already had bad experiences in there. She didn’t want to push the issue further, but they really wanted to learn, and if they asked them about their adventures and they just didn’t want to say anything, she guessed that they would just omit anything that they didn’t want to relive.
“Well, you are really more experienced than us, Ann-san“ the digimon finally said. She had heard Ann’s comment, but just thought disrespectful not using honorifics to address a person whom she had met a little more than five minutes ago ”Maybe you would like to share some of your adventures with us? I do not really know what to expect of this whole thing, and I think we would learn a good deal of them from your experiences.
Ann then mentioned the thing about the digimons and that people were already amassing in the park. It was a good idea because the park was beginning to overcrowd, and Ryouta had already readily accepted it.
“Yeah, sure” Mana said while she nodded “Better if we get to somewhere more private. I guess that being the park’s main attraction won’t do. Lead the way then, Ann. We'll follow you".

As everyone agreed with her about where she suggested, Ann smilled.
"Let's go then." Ann said.
"Ann, maybe I should lead the way, you're better at storytelling than me." Treat suggested. Ann nodded and Treat began to walk into the trees, followed by Ann.
"Well as Treat said we did have our share of thrills. But where to start? I mean we went to the digital world almost in the day Treat was born. We met a couple of good people and tons of wild digimon. One even chased us to the real world in a trailmon." Ann began to tell the listeners "Don't you have any more especific requests as to what you want to hear about?"

[Ryouta has given me permission to skip him]
Both Mana and Ayaka followed Ann (and then Treat) through the park's walkway as the little girl started telling them her adventures... or something like that. It was a somewhat crude story, and it really didn't explain that much, so it seemed that she'll have to push for details. She really had a lot of questions for that girl. "How you handled yourselves in the Digital World if Treat was just a newborn?" was the first one, but soon many more followed suit. "There are many people in the Digital World traveling with digimon? The digimon who followed you was friend or foe? Why did he want to follow you? She had so many questions for the little girl, but before she could continue with her barrage, Ayaka decided to speak up. "Miss Mana, It is not polite if you overwhelm this fine pair that so eagerly has decided to answer our inquiries. Give them time to consider them, and maybe that way they will give you the answers you seek in a quality you deserve". Altough those words were really wise, Mana couldn't resist to say. "Aw, Ayaka. You're like the worst party pooper ever. Okay, that'll be all my questions for now".

After Ann's request for, well, a more detailed request, Mana began a shower of questions, which was something Ann kinda expected. However Mana was stopped by her partner who warned her about asking too many questions, something to which Mana agreed to, but not without a teasing comment. Ann gigled at this, covering her own mouth to stop herself.
"Well, I'll try to answer those in order. Well, Treat besides having evolved into in-training in the very afternoon he was born, he was always a bit of a... How should I put this? "Better safe than sorry" focused person. Digimon. He even tried to avoid us seeing who you were when he smelled your digimon afraid you might be more dangerous digimon who ran off to the human world somehow." Ann began to answer with a smile. "So basicly he constantly tried to keep us out of trouble. Of course, we still ran into digimon and people. As I said some were bad and attacked us, but most were good and actually helped us sometimes even defending us against the bad ones. And yes, there are tons of humans all over the digital world, all partnes with at least one digimon or wielding the spirit of one. The last human we met in the digital world was a spirit wielder named Takeda. We helped him find his first spirit, a fire-breathing, rock smashing dinossaur thing named guilmon-X. That day you soooo brave Treat, you were just a little yellow worm trying to stand up to that veteran guardian of the spirit... And Takuya even thought I was really a princess for a bit, because of the way you call me."
"Thank you for the complement, but you're getting off-track. Plus, we're almost there." Treat interviened.
"Right. Anyway that day we separated and not ling later Treat evolved to rookie in another fight in a basement or something like that. Moving on, we came back to the real world in a friendly trailmon who happened to be carrying a cyclonemon. When we reached the human world, the Cyclonemon broke free of the cage his was being carried on and started chasing us. I think it was because it was angry, but also, Treat told me he had some sort of sickness and was trying to die fighting. We met up with Takeda again, and later... I apologize, but I don't want to talk about what happened afterwards." Ann continued dropping at the memory of the "Ironymon" incident. It was still very painfull for both Ann and Treat to even think about it.
"Don't worry about it, my princess, we arrived." Treat told those following.
They had reached the place Treat and Ann had found. Covered by a dense amount of trees was this opening in the forested area of Myashita park, allowing someone to rest in privacy even the most crowded days. It seemed great for camping AND for hanging with digimon.

Ryouta was kind of out of it. Who knows that missing a certain part of a talk could make so much of a difference? He doesn't really get what they're talking of, but it's surely something kind of sensitive and at the same time fun. Well, now that he's already this far... He turned to his partner, who tagged along with him by being inside his bag. Babydmon nodded and flies out. Ryouta's D-3 let out blinding golden light, transforming Babydmon into Dracomon.
"Much better?" he asked.
The small dragon nodded happily. Maybe all that flying kind of a bit too tiring for him?
"Speaking of which, I have several questions of my own... How and why do you think Digimon came to our side? I mean, why are they choosing us, not someone else? What makes us so special that we got chosen? Of course, while I don't really expect a real answer that could truly outright answer the mystery, I'd really appreciate some opinion."

So it seemed that Treat was really protective of her tamer, and that they already had their fair amount of fights, and then she stopped talking altogether. She had excused herself, but it just seemed that as she hand fond memories of her time there, she also had some things she preferred not to remember
“Heh, I guess It’s understandable. It seems that you guys had your fair amount of bumps in your first days” Mana said with a smile as they approached to the site that tread had said, It seemed like a really good place to be honest, and as soon as they were there she began unpacking the food and drinks she had brought. While she was doing it, a bright light enveloped Babydmon again and she changed into the form of a small dragon. Mana looked at him, blinked, looked at him again and then squealed.
“Ryouta-san, he’s so cute!” she said smiling.
As Ryouta said all her questions to Ann, Mana looked at Dracomon in eye. She gauged him, she was searching deep in his soul for something… and when she thought she had found it, she dared to ask in her most sing-songy voice. “Can I hug you now, Dracomon-san? Preeeetty please?”

Treat thought about the new questions posed to him and Ann. It was hard to figure something as deep as those questions out. But, at least at the moment he seemed the most knowleged about the whole digimon thing amongst the digimon partners in the group, so he assumes he was to answer.
"Well, we don't really "choose" our partners, at least not I know of, but in the case we don't get with our partners randomly, I'd say that someone picks our partners for us and we seem to be hardwired for our partners. Not just in power terms, but more in terms of personality. Also given the number of tamers, Xros generals and Spirit wielders, I'd say it has nothing to do with being particulary especial, thought I'm not sure exactly why." Treat tried to explain
"Treat that didn't sound very nice! Besides for us to have partners like you and Ayaka and Dracomon over there...we have to be especial." Ann complained
"Sorry, my princess, I was giving my opinion, sorry." Treat said

The Dragon Digimon flinched and backs off slowly. Why he felt some totally hunter-like aura from the young lady? And here he's supposed to be the dragon! Dracomon blushes and hid himself behind a tree.
Apparently, Treat thought it's nothing really special for them to have partner, but Ann disagrees. Hardwired... is it really the fact? It's as if there need to be a certain chemistry to them that somehow the Digimon ended up with the Tamer. But he and Dracomon doesn't seem to be that matching. Dracomon, rather than protective partner or anything like that, felt more like a little brother to him. This Digimon aren't anything like him... then, in what kind of chemistry is he talking of?
"...I see, so that's how it is... Mmmm... I guess I have no other question for now... I guess."

As Dracomon made his escape, Mana looked at him with a sincere smile etched on her face. But in those features there was something else hidden, something that only prey detected on their predator’s gestures, and even though the casual viewer wouldn’t be able to discern it, it was a really terrifying thing to behold. But in a cute way, of course, as the only thing that Mana wanted from Dracomon was to hug him.
Ayaka, totally oblivious of her partner’s “predatory” side was hearing what both Ann and Treat were saying about digimon
“May I ask what do those strange terms mean? You mentioned things like “Spirit Wielder” or “Xros General”. While I’m quite acquainted on how tamer mechanics work, I have yet to hear a thing about all those other terms. They are people who have digimons too? Or they work on a different way?”
While Ayaka made her questions, Mana decided to set the things she had brought in there, as it seemed that she had missed a good bit of the conversation and that she was actually… pretty hungry. But she had some doubts of her too.
“Do you really think that the digimon’s personality is the balance the personality of its tamer? It seems really weird to me…”
