"URGH! Why do I gotta remain in Holosuit form in the Digital World?! This is so boring!" Tera complained as she was sitting on a chair and leaning back, greatly displeased waving the tablet in her hand. Her General, Kai was nearby on a laptop, wearing her school uniform while rubbing her temples, clearly stressed as she was reading over information and barely tolerating her primary partners attitude. Meanwhile at a nearby table was the Yuki-Agumon Snowball on one of the library's terminals also doing research on the same subject. "Again, because you need hands to help out and you keep complaining about waiting inside the Fusion Loader. Look it isn't easy, the makers of this Eclipse formula are practically wiped from histery. The makers of this formula these Neo Dialus lot are trying to recreate seems to have tried to kill their own footprints." Kai said as she was exhausted and barely getting any closer no matter how hard they researched.
"Well it is a longshot, from what you said there isn't entirely a lot of information to start our search. Going back to basics what we know boils down to a few main points. Neo Dialus is clearly trying to follow in the footsteps of Transcendental Dial, an orginization from eons ago that created a formula that escalated power of Digimon that consumed to to new heights, but when they vanished they took as many traces of their existence as possible." Snowball said as he was trying to get the ball rolling by once again going back to square one. Kai nodded as she thought of the other points. "This Drug has a light energy and a dark fluid components that once introduced simultaneously invokes a reaction that distorts a Digimons body as it amplifies power, repeated doses destroy the Digimon's stability." She carried on from where Snowball left off. Kai tapped the purple haired holosuited Digimon's leg.
"And the little tin can sidekick of the big dark Omegamon said there are two places they want to control; which after figuring out the stuff that was given out to the Dogmon was made of synthetic stuff, you brainiacs deduced that the two points are probably where the substances are harvessted from." She said as she looked over at Kai who barely even registered Tera's annoyance. "And they've still been working on the artificial stuff and keeping an eye on it, and us as well. I can only imagine how bad it'll be if they find the stuff where the originals gathered the materials. So we need to figure out where they are, and permanently eliminate them and report them to the proper authorities along the way."
She explained fully though it was definitely easier said then done.
"According to the notes we got from the sample investigated in Deeplane, the Light Energy had connections to certain events and points thought found in the Emperyean skies but I would be more comfortable doing more, research before going there." Snowball said as Kai nodded. "Likewise, we don't have many flying configurations, and all of them depend on Tera." Kai commented as Tera stared at her. "The skies aren't that bad- wait, you're all wingless."

Mumbling. Determined, invested mumbling. That spelled secrets, secrets spelled knowledge of the important and rare kind. All of that meant that Procopius was currently dragging his plastic heels across the floor trying to keep his partner from barging in on another party unannounced.
"I appreciate...that you just want to learn...but not everyone...is going to be...so polite about...your stumbling in!" Procopius said, words paused each time he tried to tug backward on Ollie's backpack to keep him from moving toward the sound of the group. He wasn't doing very well at that, Ollie was small, almost vanishing beneath the shape of his massive backpack but his stamina in carrying the blasted thing combined with his mental focus on any source of knowledge he could find meant that he could not be dissuaded when he pointed himself in one direction and started moving toward his goal.
"And I told YOU! Maybe...I can...he-" He placed both his hands on a set of heavy oaken doors between himself and the source of the mumbling, the doors opening to a small landing overlooking a set of lovingly decorated stairs that neither he nor his partner noticed in time to stop Ollie from stumbling over the first step. "LLLLPPPP!" Ollie and Procopius tumbled together like a runaway boulder, their bodies blurring together as they thumped head over heels down the stairs to land in a heap suddenly at the feet of two rather familiar faces. Ollie groaned, adjusting his glasses and waiting for the aching in his head to go away before Kai and Tera came into focus. He gasped, pushing himself up and dusting himself off as if he hadn't just tumbled a story and a half down a flight of wooden stairs. "Kai! And Tera! How wonderful to see you!" Ollie said, springing straight up, still swallowed by the shape of a backpack so overstuffed that the top of it was leaning over the top of Ollie's head. The young man was already less than five feet tall and the massive pack somehow served to make him look even shorter.
"Nice to see ya." Procopius said with a small wave of his plastic arms. "As you can see I have indeed failed at dampening his enthusiasm for any part of the Digital World experience, he's eating it up in practice just as much as he seemed to in theory. On the bright side nearly getting himself killed has become a talent." Procopius said with a "what can you do" shrug in his shoulders. He was symbiotic to Ollie's desires at this point, going where the boy wanted to go with the intention of keeping his partner alive. "Plus it might just be your lucky day. If you folks are having a research problem, he's your man. We've picked up bits and bobs from every edge of the Digital World we can get to and pick up threads from everywhere else. I can only assume such serious people are tackling something important."

"If I had my miniguns I might've shot you." Tera said as she looked over at the intrusive human boy from her Holosuit form. "Perhaps we should add that to the list of reasons we made you come in using the Holsuit." Snowball commented a bit snarky before turning around from the terminal to look at at the two that just came in. Kai sighed into her hand for a moment before she would regain her composure quickly. She was glad at the very least Ollie had someone like Procopius to balance him out. However after listening to the two she did agree that there was some merit to bringing in someone who focused their entire being into charting and studying the Digital World with as much passion as Ollie had, as well as another set of eyes to examine their own data.
"Ollie, Procopius, I don't believe you met Snowball here yet." She said gesturing over to the Yuki Agumon waving his tiny claw. "Hello!" He said politely. "He's a recent addition to the army, among several others." She said as she was trying to be polite to the tamer and partner pair and avoid confusing them with the full arsenal at her disposal.
"So Zealous Nerd, I'm willing to bet a couple bits you overheard us going over everything. What's your take on the whole Transcendental Dial and their formula for the chaotic Drug they tried to take back before vanishing into nothingness before this Neo Dialus group came into play to recreate it?" Tera said crossing her legs.
Kai sighed again as she looked at Procopius. "If it's any consolation, I failed at dampening her, well everything."

"I would rather you didn't." Ollie said, dusting himself off as he smiled at Tera. He didn't seem to be taking the threat to his life and limb terribly seriously, only giving her the warm grin that came naturally to him even if his eyes had a problem staying on the strong willed woman and not hitting the floor out of habit.
"Nice to meetcha Snowball and I deeply apologize for the next step in this process." Procopius said, giving a sympathetic smile to his subspecies cousin before looking over at Ollie who gasps hard enough that he nearly goes red in the face, his mouth hanging open and stars shining behind his eyes as he catches sight of a brand new digimon.
"Fascinating! A reptilian digimon species, famous for its fire based attacks adapting to cold alpine or arctic biomes!" In a single motion, fluid and practiced Ollie pulls his massive leather bound tome out of his back and snaps it open to an empty page. "Tell me, are you warm or cold blooded? Do you still breathe fire or has your body adapted those organs for a secondary purpose? Is the adaptation of color in your scales meant to ward off snow blindness and sunburns or an adaptation for camouflage in your native region? Are you-" Ollie's mile a minute barrage of questions is interrupted by Procopius calmly walking up behind him, grabbing hold of one of the straps of his backpack, sticking a leg out behind the boys ankles and YANKING hard so the boy toppled over the outstretched leg and landed with a cute squeak on his rear end.
"Down, Ollie. You're talking to a person not a science exhibit." Procopius said, with a tone that made it clear it was something the two of them had talked about before. Ollie's face suddenly flushed cherry blossom pink and his gaze shot toward the floor.
"Sorry." He squeaked quietly.

"Hide your Fusion Loader before he asks about the living Motorcycle." Tera whispered to Kai as she would roll her eyes at that remark as she knew her fusion loader was safe on the table at the moment. Meanwhile Snowball awkwardly tried to entertain the questions of the human boy but he did find the line of questioning to be awkward. "Again, you sure you wanna clue him in? He might have a repository of niche knowledge but he gets side tracked more often then a Goblimon in a meat farm." She said as Snowball was composing himself.
"All Agumon are warm blooded, even the Yuki Variants, Yuki Agumon lack fire powers and instead gain equivalent ice based powers, and camoflague in artic biomes, yes. Tradionally we lack a variant of Greymon but some do Digivolve into normal Greymon. Though I have heard rumors about some Toy Agumon turning into a Toy Greymon but that's rumors. My apologies but I don't know much more then that, I left the Grey Village rather long time ago." Snowball said referring to a small village of Agumon and Greymon in the west that was rather reclusive.
"Not trying to get in the way of you're, research, but you did say you might be of some service. Have you ever heard of Transcendental Dial? As far as we know there are two points of interest that can give a burning light and a dark liquid that when combined create the very drug. But we only encountered synthetic variants so little clue to their natural origins." She explained.

Ollie scribbled down the details that he was able to take from the white Agumon before ending up on his bottom. Just one of the less disruptive ways that his partner knew of to get the young man off of one particular tangent distraction and on to another one. Given a question to solve though, his demeanor changed. It was like the shine in his eyes altered from excited to serious and he walked up to the table they were using and placed his bag down on top of it.
"I've heard many of the same rumors, a mysterious drug that unlocks a terrible power in Digimon of any level for an equally terrible price. Like all the worst drugs of the human world rolled up into one if the descriptions I've read of the side effects are anything to go by." Ollie said, placing down his codex and flipping it open to an entire two page spread on the subject. Sketches of vials, scribbled notes as to possible chemical composition, testimonials taken from community members far and wide across the Digital World, a dozen from Terminal alone. Pulling out a folded up paper from one of the many pockets of his seemingly endless page he flipped it open and laid it out like a table cloth.
It was a map, a large one, detailed notation covering every inch as it radiated out from Terminus. Procopius stepped up, more tactical of the two as Ollie looked over the codex correlating information.
"Here you can see all of our travels, dated and timed with the location of the information gained. The spots where there are stylized hypodermic needles drawn is where we've picked up stories of the drug in communities we've passed through, each one is correlated to a testimonial taken or evidence otherwise gathered on a table in the codex." Procopius said, pulling out a smaller piece of paper that served as a map key so that the group could go over everything the duo had collected.

Kai examined Ollie as he went over his notes and found his research to be both a blessing and a curse as she skimmed the information present. Though she did notice the same vial concept used, two chambers on each side that are completely isolated from eachother, two breakable caps, one light the other darker, but there were a few design choices. She saw the modern ones that she encountered which were straight tubes but the other one were a bit different, looking more like two vials stuck together with narrower tubes on the ends but those correlated to the older reports which did help in theory.
It was both an indicator of what was Transcendental Dial and which was Neo Dialus's recreation experiments, and an insight into the enemy. Neo Dialus's vials seemed to focus strictly on practicality in a spartan fashion that was no doubt easier to mass produce over the flourish Transcendental Dial had, which in turn could very well prove that until their attempts to clense the world of their history that this formula wasn't as immediately volatile and corrosive as the synthetic reproductions, but by little means less dangerous. "Seems you got everything, but there are overlaps between the original and the reproduction... Snowball what do you think, ignore anything from uptwards of twenty years ago?" She said as Snowball was examining the large map. "Make it fifty. The earliest appearance of the tube vial appears to be here in the map in the Server Woods and the Bayou, but they might've surfaced earlier in the Dark Area first, but given the area they might've only done preliminary samples there to ensure stability before moving onto the Eastern Timberlands." Snowball replied as Kai nodded.
She was leaning over the large map, pulling coins and other small items from her pockets and purse to mark over the areas not in consideration. She was trying her best to get a clear look at the points where only Transcendental Dial was concerned. "What's going on?" Tera asked as she was confused by the dialogue between the others, scratching her head.
"We're eliminating points on the map to narrow down the search. See Transcendental Dial's delivery vials of the original drug are different, see the sketches. They look more aesthetically pleasing like two symmetrical flasks made of reinforced colored glass together but Neo Dialus looks like they just printed off a tube with a divider in the middle." She said as Tera looked confused for a moment before she started to see what Kai was driving at. She folded her arms. "Oh so Transcendental Dial had a fancier delivery system. So what does decorative choice matter how you drink your poison- unless they didn't know it was poison at first?" She said as she seemed to suddenly see what point Kai was driving at.
"Which explains the abrupt change to suddenly erase their group from any records entirely, and also has a more jarring conclusion if the repercussions are small enough to hide." Snowball said grimly as things were starting to look darker as more details came to light.
"The negative effects of the genuine article are much less dangerous then the ones made by the synthetic copies. Which is why there's still a hunt for the original materials involved."

Ollie flipped open another journal the moment there was work to be done. As Kai and friends began to narrow down aspects of their search, crossing off areas on the map with small trinkets and other markers he began to scribble down their lines of thought. His writing was impossibly fast especially for a boy his age. Able to lay down the journal on a solid surface, look directly at the group as they worked and write down every word that they said or thought that they shared without even looking down at his hand in motion. The shape of his pen almost blurring around the edges as he captured every word being said and took it down like minutes in a business meeting.
"They didn't know what they were actually making until they made it. And when they realized it was hurting people they vanished and kept pumping it into communities anyway. They knew exactly what kind of consequences they were causing but were too committed to whatever their larger goal was to stop. Money, power, science for its own sake." Procopius said, his brow furrowed in concern at the map underneath them. He hadn't fully been piecing it together as they traveled, the evidence of the drug was just one more of the million things that Ollie wrote down whenever they went anywhere and it was only when they met up with Kai's group and the information from both sides began to come out that the true picture started to take shape.
"We can see each of their experimental groups, perhaps areas where they tested it out in particular. Grouped jumbles of testimonials and evidence that will hang around for weeks or months at a time before suddenly vanishing just before anybody catches on to the pattern. Spreading out the data so that nobody is ever looking at the big picture all at once." Ollie said, writing down a chart barehanded that correlated the data based on time, place and method of deliver, even roughly graphing it out without even looking down at his hand as he moved.
"They never counted on anybody being well traveled and detail oriented enough to pull them out of the background noise. Then again, who on earth could possibly have been prepared for you, Ollie? You're basically the only human being alive who could drag their silhouette out of the shadows without even realizing it." Procopius said, the look on his face could only be identified as beaming pride. He had always been slightly frustrated with Ollie's insistence that every story was important, that every detail mattered in getting a true picture of peoples lives and hearts. But he respected it, the way that Ollie never felt like the bigger picture was more important than the smaller ones. Every story that could be told deserved telling, deserved preservation, and now that omnidirectional academic empathy might just be the key to stopping some very bad people in their tracks when secrecy and ignorance had been their greatest shields.

"I see. There seems to be a common theme about the tales in the Western Flatlands and the North that are assuredly corelating to Transcendal Dial eons ago. The stories all involve someone coming down from the sky." Snowball said as he was starting to find patterns in the various tales gathered. Kai however loosened her tie before standing back up, finding it a bit tight against her throat as she would check over Snowballs work. "Meanwhile the ones in the Southern areas of the continent indicate that those who brought the formula came from the Sea and a lot of tales in the later eras depict them as devils- You don't think?" She said as she looked at Snowball.
"The disconnect makes sense since the stories in the northern side happened well before the Southern if the timeline is cohesive. IF that holds up..." He said as Tera was getting progressively annoyed. "What? I don't speak Nerd!" She said as Kai took a deep breath, tempted to smack Tera upside the head but she resisted. "This means we figured out where each of the two sites are regionally." She said as Tera seemed to realize the implications of what that meant.
"The Empyrean Skies and the Dark Area. In fact I think I figured out where one of the temples are, look at this story, the one where Ollie and Procopius questioned someone who claimed to follow the Transcendental Dial member back-" She said before suddenly there was a blast of head that went over her head, she didn't know what was going on at first until she looked up to see the dispersing blue flames hit the wall.
Right in the doorway of the room was a DeathMeramon, standing tall and with an arm out. "That's nice, give me everything you got and in return I'll gift wrap your ashes when I mail them back to the human world." He said with a sadistic smile as he stood over the group. "AGAIN?! How do you guys keep getting the drop on us?!" Tera threw her arms up complaining as she dropped the Holosuit only to be blasted into a wall by another fireball.
Instinctively Kai telepathically ordered her Fusion Loader to release and fuse the Missies and Solarmon with Tera so when she emerged from the floor she was a Mailbirdramon flying up as a massive beam of energy was being charged up in the chest before firing. "Nighthawk!" She called out as the enemy was knocked back.
Meanwhile Kai grabbed her Fusion Loader and unloaded Mach. "We escaping?" He asked as Kai got on the saddle, and gestured for Ollie and the two Agumon Variants to hop on. "Like a batmon out of hell."
OOC:
Kai unleashed and fused the components for Mail Birdramon
Mail Birdramon knocked back DeathMeramon with Nighthawk
Kai unleashed Machmon
Nighthawk: Charges up and fires a large beam of blue energy from the chest to strike down on opponents. However this ability is not to be taken lightly and requires a three post cooldown.

"When you put the data together it's like outlining their silhouette right where they thought no one would look." Ollie said, having transferred basically everything onto one two page spread of his hand journal, showing them everything they had collected in a much easier to check spot than the massive codex and equally huge map. "Hold onto that, being able to check this data at any time is the sort of advantage you need to have if you're going to take this all the way to the top." He said, offering the hand journal to Kai. "Knowledge is power. If I believe in anything, I believe in that." Ollie said, the young man grinning with a sparkle in his eye as the wall behind them caved in and he was suddenly staring at the titanic, flaming villain before them.
"Gotta give you a warning, sweetums." Procopius said, Ollie fumbling momentarily with his digivice before Procopius began to glow, replacing the small plastic Agumon with a snarling, metal coated Raptordramon. "That kid will give up his research when they put him in the grave, and if that's what you want, you're gonna have to go through my first. FEET PLANTED!" Procopius' curled toe claws unfurled for a moment before planting themselves hard in the ground beneath his feet. Fanning out his wings to block the villainous Digimon's line of sight and movement toward the humans, giving him a growling snarl that said "bring it on" "Take Ollie and get out of here, sharpish, we'll take care of the wannabe biker." Procopius growled as Ollie used the extra seconds to pack away the codex and the map in his bad, hopping on the back of Mach and holding onto Kai for dear life.
"You can't hide your devils in the details, anymore! Not while I'm around!" Ollie said, sticking out his tongue at the flaming digimon as Procopius blocked his path, serving as a physical obstacle to keep the Death Meramon from closing the distance and keeping him blocked up against the library wall so that the biker would have little room to maneuver while Mailbirdramon rained death from the sky. "I hope I sounded confident to the big scary bad guy." Ollie said to Kai as he clutched tightly around her waist, pressing his cheek into her back. The kid was shaking like a leaf, confrontation and violence were not his strong suit by any stretch of the imagination and he had much preferred Kai and friends taking his knowledge and using that to do some good in the world rather than him getting wrapped up in it. Currently it didn't seem like he had much of a choice. But at least he always had Procopius with him.
And Procopius were ALWAYS down for some violence.
Procopius digivolves to Raptordramon
Combat Passive: Feet Planted: Procopius prefers to fight by picking one defensible spot of terrain or area of the fight and sticking to it, either firing off attack at a decent range or forcing opponents to come at him from one angle of attack. At the beginning of a fight Procopius is able to take one turn, pick one spot and plant himself there, closing his wings around the sides and back of his body to create a fifty percent increase in his defense to his sides and back while reducing his speed by fifty percent. It takes him two turns to fully unfurl from his position and return to his normal speed while losing his defensive buffs until he is able to find another spot to plant himself. "Metal? You'd be better off turning into twigs..." The DeathMeramon said as they blazed their hands with the fire around them increasing in intensity as he lunged forward to try and grab Procopius by the neck, planting his foot down before slowly trying to move forward. DeathMeramon would stare Procopius right in the eyes. "I could go for chicken tonight... but you're looking a little low on iron. Heavy Metal FIRE!" He said before trying to to spit molten metal right onto Procopius's face. He seemed to have a sadistic glee about him and only Procopius was close enough to hear the laughing.
Tera had regained her balance and still in Mailbirdramon form waited till she heard Mach get a safer distance while she closed in the gap as she would fly over Procoipus and was about to bomb the man with a blitz of explosives to fully obscure the humans from his sight, however the blue Digimon hesitated for a moment before flying around and tried to come in from above using the claw like tail of her form to slash out at the back of the flaming Digimon before flying back up several times while he was distracted. "Trident Claw!"
"Why isn't Tera just bombing the son of a Dogmon?" Mach asked as Tera looked back for a moment as the four were riding off. "Procopius is clearly holding so there must be something she is trying to avoid damaging- OH! oh! oh.." Kai said as she realized what it probably was as Machmon managed to get to the entrance of the Library and Kai grabbed Ollie and forced him off with her as she pointed her Fusion Loader back at Snowball before he had a chance to get off and fused them into Yuki Machmon.
"What? What the hell is so important?!" He said as Kai would bite her lip. "The only thing stopping Tera from going all out is if the guy had a vial on him." She said as she was right. While Procopius's was occupying DeathMeramon, Tera was trying to get at the tube attached to his belt.
Mach nodded as he would return inside while Kai grabbed Ollie by the backpack and tried to keep running, using her DigiFM to see if anyone she knew was available nearby.

Procopius would only have a snarling, animal contempt visible on his face for his opponent, looking into the Death Meramon's eyes with his protection instinct on full display.
"You can try to kill me, you might even succeed. But you will NOT get PAST ME." Procopius snarled, even with the hissing metal spat into his eyes he just punched his head forward. "AMBUSH CRUNCH!" Procopius' mouth opened wide and in such close quarters it would be near impossible for his open mouth to miss biting something and biting DEEP until he could taste his opponent as his teeth dug and snagged into tightly bundled muscle fibers, perhaps even wrapping around and cracking down on bone. He would bit down into the core of the Death Meramon's abdomen, pinning him there and making it so that the digimon couldn't move away without tearing a lethal chunk out of himself, pinning the biker creature down and holding him with all his might, even as hissing molten iron dripped down over his eyelids. He didn't scream, he didn't roar, he had something more important to worry about. The center WOULD hold.
"If that's her plan, then she couldn't ask for a better partner. Procopius' whole thing is covering ground and holding it. He made the mistake of getting close enough for Procopius to sink his teeth in and now I'd say Tera has at least a few seconds to take her shot." Ollie said, saying it as a prayer as much as anything else. He had confidence in his partner who knew how to do one thing very, VERY well. Pinning his opponent down like a butterfly on a tack board and holding him there. The rumbling snarl that radiated through the air was like a dog that wouldn't give up its hold on a bone, Ollie could feel it deep in his core. "That's my partner right there, you can count on him." Ollie said as he continued to run, only sparing slight looks back at his gruff sentinel holding potent and strong against the threat. There were no clever words or come backs, not from Procopius, not now. He was just a steel wall between their attacker and Ollie, his long claws barely budging an inch as they loudly dug deep grooves into the floor of the library.

Tera stayed airborne a she watched Procopius stand his ground and tear into the flaming biker Digimon. As soon as Procopius used his Ambus Crunch, the DeathMeramon screamed in pain before letting go to quickly reach for the vial on his belt, only to find himself grabbing the head of a Mailbirdramon as Tera had lunged forward and grabbed the canister. "LET GO!" He yelled at her as he tried to crush her beak.
"Fiurduwn" Tera said muffled as suddenly missiles were launched from her body and crashed around, exploding. This was the gambit of a desperate Digimon as this was an attack meant to be cast from a above for widespread damage, but used in a tight space indoors, especially in close quarters, was basically a recipe for disaster a thin line away from self destruction as all three Digimon would brunt explosions, but the wounded DeathMeramon would be worst of all as combine with the vice grip of Procopius helped expand the wounds.
Tera flew higher into the sky as she whipped the vial from her mouth towards Mach, causing it to land right in his saddle's open pocket. Mach got the hint and took a right turn up and along the wall before turning around towards Kai and Ollie. While above, Tera looked down at at the DeathMeramon."Shit... can't come back from this. Drug damages reincarnation... So may regrets." He muttered as Tera was charging an attack as she would unleash another Nighthawk. "NIGHTHAWK! Wait what did he say?" Tera said confused as Mach returned to Kai.
Kai immediately grabbed the vial, making sure it was intact before stuffing it in her bag. "Got it." She said as she knew Ollie wasn't gonna fight her over it. DeathMeramon was starting to crumble away into data, though it looked more like he was turning into dust. "He was right... she might be a worthy replacement for the boss..." He wheezed his last words before he fully disappeared. "Alright, any other species?" Tera asked as she looked around.

Procopius didn't respond even as digital blood poured down over his head from the ripping, snapping muscle fibers gnashed between his teeth. He held the line. He was standing between the big guy and his partner and that meant he held. the. line. His wings flaring out, punching into bookshelves and digging themselves deep, overturning the table as explosions rocked back and forth across his body, making him quake back and forth as the booming left his ears ringing. His teeth, however, didn't move. Locked down hard, unseeing, unlistening until he felt the weight of his opponent begin to ebb from between his jaws.
The moment he was no longer being propped up by the mix of his enemy's weight and his own adrenaline he slumped forward onto his knees and then his long neck slumped out and slammed down like a toppling tree trunk.
"Procopius!" Ollie didn't wait or pause when he saw his partner fall, he didn't even take a single glance at Kai or Mach as he charged forward and pulled a handkerchief out of his bag, tossing the bag away to the side, all of his notes and supplies just cavalierly shoved off as he began to reach out and try to scrub the molten metal from his partner's eyes. Yelping and jumping backward on contact with the hot metal, blackening and burning the edges of the cloth.
"Stop you're gonna...hurt yourself..." Procopius said, his energy flowing out as he shrunk back down to his Black Toyagumon form, his eyes still wincing shut as he settled against Ollie's torso, breathing slow and shallow.
"What do I do? What...what-do-I-do?!" The young man babbled, looking up at Kai. This was the first time that Procopius had ever gotten seriously hurt on their adventures, parts of his body still lightly smoking from where the explosions had singed him. Ollie was holding Procopius close, the young man's arms and hands locked so tight on his partner that Kai and her crew could see his knuckles turning white, rocking with unmatched anxiety as he looked up at the older tamer.

Kai fell silent as she watched Ollie come face to face with the hard realization of the dangers of the Digital World after Procopius paid a heavy toll. The two fusions would separate into their base components as Kai seemed to take charge. "Solarmon, you remove any Molten metal leftover. Snowball, gradually cool him down. Missies, Tera, Mach, perimeter search." Kai ordered and her army members nodded and started to get on with their assigned tasks. Solarmon and Snowball approached Procopius. The older fire metal based Digimon would start first as he would use his teeth and gears to slowly remove the molten metal from the ToyAgumon's body. All the while assessing the Digimon's condition and health status. Once he was done he backed off.
"Good news is aside from the stress and heat damage, he's not visiting the Village of Beginnings today. What was the lad thinking, a Champion level enduring an Ultimate like that as well as having an elemental disadvantage; even if he specializes in defense and bolstered, if it wasn't for it being a three on one scenario..." Solarmon grumbled aloud as Snowball stepped up. "Now now old chap we mustn't speak like that, count our blessings he is still with us now." Snowball said before releasing a cool stream of air from his mouth, slowly increasing the coldness so Procopius would gradually cool down to avoi8d any more damage to the block based Digimon.
Meanwhile as Tera and the Missies scoured the area, Kai remained close to Ollie as she pulled him aside so Solarmon and Snowball could ease Procopius's pain. "Ollie, I warned you before. The Digital World is full of wonders beyond imagination, but also nightmares in equal proportion. Procopius put his life on the line and he nearly lost it." She said as she wanted to just console the boy but she knew he did need to swallow some of the harsh truth as well, to ensure he understood the dangers involved. "However, don't worry. Solarmon and Snowball are smart Digimon, they should be able to help patch him up for now. He should only require some rest and be back to normal in a day or two." She said with a gentle smile trying to console the boy, only for Solarmon to ruin the moment. "Try four, I think the heat was too much for his Rookie form and might have internal fracturing cause of it. Maybe two if he goes down one or two more for the time." He interjected bluntly.
The patrolling Digimon returned, shrugging as none could find anything. "Coast appears clear. So... before all that you said something about figuring out where one of the two critical locations was?" Tera asked Kai.
