Dust held his gut, slightly poking at it with the palm of his hand as a rush of pain emanated from it the exact second that he did that, so he instinctively stopped doing that pulling his hand away with a grunt of annoyance. That weird royal knight looking guy really did a number on him during their fight, so much so he was stuck in his Impmon form for the moment, sitting at his usual desk in his house/clinic. Thankfully he didn't think anything THAT dangerous was going to happen again anytime soon.
Glancing up he saw Luna and Saya near the door, the two of them working on fixing the thing due to all of the digimon who thought dramatically kicking the door down was how you should always enter a place like this, sometimes they fixed it but other times the trio were forced to fix it themselves. Dust had offered to fix it himself but the two of them basically Veto'd him out due to his current injuries. "Alright, Saya did the screw go through?" Luna asked from the side in the building, they were trying to get the hinge to stop hanging on a hinge funnily enough.
"Yes mom." Saya confirmed by grabbing the screw and shaking a bit so she could see on her part, however due to the little kids overwhelming strength it ended up snapping the screw in two almost instantly despite how little pressure she tried to apply to it. "Uhh, actually it uh. Broke. We need a new one." Saya mentioned without saying exactly WHY it broke, Luna sighed with a small amount of annoyance as she started to dig the screw out.
Overall it was a pretty calm day, sun was shining down, Rosewood seemed relatively quiet as well, a nice and good time to rest from a hard fight. Hopefully it continued to be this....
Sadly things never really go like that for the trio huh?

It was almost as if there was something out there watching, listening, all set on not letting Dust and co even have this little moment of peace! It was subtle at first, a slight buzzing at the very edge of hearing and a static that would make the hairs on the back of one's neck stand on end, but eventually even the charged air itself seemed to shudder, all centered upon a spot right in front of the broken front door! To add to this even further, within just ten or twenty seconds of all this there was a strange distorted mass of nearly completely translucent jittering orange-gold pixels floating above the front lawn, distorting the light like some sort of strange prism as it passed through, projecting dancing squares down to the grass below.
It hung like this for a few minutes more, the blocks twitching, interlocking, before finally merging into the shape of a large glowing exclamation mark surrounded by a sharp triangle floating in the air as if suspended by a transparent thread held up by an unseen hand.

All at once with the sound of tearing paper played through a broken speaker the warning triangle exploded into data, leaving behind for the briefest moment a jagged hole punched through the fabric of the digital world itself and into a dark void of shattered glinting blue-black glass beyond, from which a humanoid figure was flung! It smacked down hard upon the ground, its momentum sending it flying straight through the halfway fitted door with a crunch of an armoured carbon reinforced arm upon splintering wood!
The figure finally came to a rest after sliding a good ways down the hall, lying in a heap on the floor. At first glance, it looked almost like a Renamon. Same sandy yellow and white fur, same fox-like head, though it was about there where the similarities ended. The figures arms and legs almost resembled that of a human's if they were sculpted out of cold blackened metal, carbon fibre rubber and polymer grafted onto the digimon's frame seemingly down to the very skeleton at the shoulders and hips. Even the glassy eyes that stared blankly ahead into were machine replacements, the iris and pupil resembling almost the lenses of an expensive camera set within a plastic eyeball.

Eva coughed hard on false lungs not configured for the digital air that filled them, her vision swimming as warnings about o2 levels and systems struggling to adjust flashed before it. She lay there on her side for a while, struggling for breath before eventually trying to get to her feet, though barely managing to force herself into a sitting position with her back resting against the wall. She looked down, staring at her shaking five fingered mechanical hand, and in a quiet trembling voice simply said...
"Why...?"

Subtle or not, regardless of which it was Luna would've picked up on some strange buzzing noise after a few seconds of it starting, her advanced hearing kicking in as she stood up fully after a moment, much to the confusion of her daughter, who just looked up at her mom before getting up herself, glancing around the area looking for whatever had her mom on edge. However both could feel the sudden charge in the air as the two digimon's guards were raised.
However after a few more seconds Luna shoved her daughter out of the way as some strange mass of pixels seemed to hover in front of their house, it looked out of place, like it had come from somewhere completely strange. And the feeling it was giving off wasn't anything like Luna had felt before. It didn't feel like it was threatening just, wrong. Something fundamentally wrong with it being here.
Even more so when it started reporting random words and phrases then with the incredibly loud noise that, as said before, would instantly be picked up on by Luna, only instead of hearing fast it made her want to rip her ears off, making the champion level digimon stumble back for a moment, catching herself before she hit the floor. "Mom are you ok?" Saya asked ignoring the weird thing for a moment as she made sure Luna was on her feet.
As she did though something was flung through said portal and right through their fregging door again! Even strange out of this world things from another digital forming seemed to absolutely despite the idea of Luna having a door. All this commotion had gotten Dust on his feet despite the pain in his gut and made him instantly head over to the now on the floor Renamon, well Renamon was a bold statement they more looked like someone that he'd see around the fragment village or hardware village, random bits and pieces of metal sewn into their body but, not metal like Dust was used to seeing, he couldn't place his finger on it but now wasn't the time for figuring that out.
Luna and Saya had made their way through the door as the newcomer had just made her way to a sitting position next to their wall, Dust went up first, looking at the stranger for any damage or anything broken considering they just slammed their way through Yggdrasil knows where. Luna with her naturally good hearing did hear the one word the stranger said and, kneeing down next to them reassured them hopefully. "That's what I want to know, I don't know who you are but you don't look too well, I can try and help though. Saya can you get one of the beds over here?" Luna asked the Mastemon who just nodded and rushed on over to fulfil that request.
"Trouble breathing, Metal parts, Who, are you?" Dust asked hoping that maybe that could help him figure out what was going on, digimon usually never had trouble breathing, they don't have lungs. Machine type digimon especially. Confusion was evident in the small Imps face.

the mechanical camera-like eyes looked up, trying to focus upon each of the household in turn, Their intricate mechanisms clicking and whirring at the edge of perception. An artificial iris, an aperture, all behind a polished lens of expensive looking anti glare coated polymer, all set within the dazed yet scared looking face of a Renamon. She tried to get up to her feet, wincing as she planted her carbon reinforced hand to the floor but soon slumped back down with a pained grunt, her head swimming again as the dazed cyborg's strength seemed to fail halfway through.
Fortunately though, it seemed like this cyborg was at least built fairly tough. Stunned and confused for sure, but the only sign of her collision with the solid wooden door and consequent hurling to the ground was just a series of surface scuffs scratches and scrapes up the sleek otherwise shiny carbon fibre-like material that composed those almost sculpted looking cybernetic limbs grafted upon the digimon's frame.
She squinted slightly, seeing the blurred out of focus silhouette of Luna, the edges of her flickering as her scrambled HUD and targeting system tried to make sense of the figure in front of it. It was vaguely humanoid, even if the proportions seemed very "off" somehow, and the voice, distant sounding as it was to her at least didn't come off as hostile. Quite the opposite in fact. She supposed that was at least something.
"That's what I want to know, I don't know who you are but you don't look too well, I can try and help though."
"Trouble breathing, Metal parts, Who, are you?"
The cyborg tried to reorganise her thoughts, bring some sort of order to the haze so she could even give a reply to the three unintelligible figures all around her. The answers though did not come easily. A name. She should have one of those. It didn't seem like something that would normally be forgotten, though, she couldn't remember for the life of her being given one. Her HUD flickered in front of her vision once more, data scrolling past her eyes, all marked with "EV/A". Maybe that was it? She turned to look towards the smaller of the trio of figures, still not able to figure out much more than a vague outline against the swimming backdrop of what seemed to be the inside of someone's house.
"E-Eva."
Her voice sounded hesitant at first. The digimon still unsure whether or not that was even her own name. Still, what else could it have been?
"I... My name is Eva."

While waiting for an answer Luna was looking the newcomer up and down, looking for marks and cuts but she couldn't really find anything too bad if she was honest, a buncha scrapes and scratches for sure but that was just something that'd be cured by a little bit of rest and not pushing yourself, whatever was going on was something internal, sadly even with her abilities Luna couldn't exactly just look inside a digimon from a glance. Though looking at the material that encompassed their body it was weirdly shiny and looked, off. Luna couldn't tell what but it didn't look like anything she had seen a mechanical digimon be encased in before.
Eva, it was a name but not exactly what Dust had expected, digimon usually didn't have names but it wasn't like it was too rare of an exception but, typically they introduced both parts but, that could just be attributed to the fact that whoever this was, wasn't completely within themselves, nevertheless it was a start at the very least. "Well, Eva. Don't worry this is a safe place. Heck you're lucky you landed here of all places, this is our clinic. We take care of the injured that pass by here." Dust said trying to make sure that they were calm, panic never helped a situation like this after all.
Saya came back with a bed on wheels from the other room. "Here." The girl said quickly as she placed it next to Luna.
"Thanks Saya, Here let me help you up. Off that door and onto something a bit more comfortable so hopefully I can help out whatever affecting you." Luna said offering her hand over to the mechanical Renamon, if accepted Luna would lift the digimon with, to Eva at least, Shocking amounts of strength and help them into a sitting position on the not floor while Dust pushed the broken door up against the frame. "Just tell me what hurts, and I'll see what I can do, Admittedly I'm not used to working on machine types but I know enough to help." Which to someone who didn't know about digimon might seem a bit odd of a difference to mention.

Eva's HUD flickered in front of her eyes again. More systems were coming back online now, the cybernetics, seemingly confused by the sudden change in physics switching back from low power emergency modes and tentatively powering themselves back up, running their constant self tests all the while. Her head was starting to clear; Her thoughts becoming easier to assemble though anything related to the events leading up to her lying against this wall were still a fogged mess of vague recollections of burning pain, biting cold, and shattered black glass.
Upon Luna's closer inspection, the extent of the Renamon's cybernetics probably seemed even stranger. At first glance, it was almost as if certain parts had simply been swapped from flesh and blood (or at least their digital equivalent) to carbon fibre, polymer and blackened titanium of human form, yet a closer inspection revealed something incredibly intricately and carefully and precisely engineered. Each limb attaching to what appeared to be a modified reinforced skeletal frame, its shape barely visible beneath otherwise mostly normal albeit somewhat pale looking skin and trim fur as if there to support and withstand far greater weight and forces than a Renamon's skeleton really should.
"Well, Eva. Don't worry this is a safe place. Heck you're lucky you landed here of all places, this is our clinic. We take care of the injured that pass by here."
Thanks Saya, Here let me help you up. Off that door and onto something a bit more comfortable so hopefully I can help out whatever affecting you."
Eva accepted the hand up, her eyes widening for a moment at the strange feeling of a creature with that unnatural level of strength being able to haul her up like it was nothing! Meanwhile from Luna's perspective, Eva was perhaps slightly heavier than most other Renamon, though there probably wasn't all too much difference in it, all those cybernetic parts grafted onto her frame seemingly built light as well as strong.
"Just tell me what hurts, and I'll see what I can do, Admittedly I'm not used to working on machine types but I know enough to help."
"Everything. That's probably not too helpfu-" She paused, the digimon stopping mid sentence. She looked down at her own hand again for a moment, before turning her eyes back to Luna with an expression on her face that could only be described as a mix of hurt and existential fear. Eventually she continued, her voice trembling slightly. "I-I... I am not a machine."

Well this was weird, weirder than the stuff Luna usually went through but definitely still not the weirdest thing she had ever seen, there was a lot of parts that seemed like they were swapped and replaced from the digital frame and added on, it was weird due to the fact that chrome digizoid was usually harder to work like this, usually it would encompass the entire frame or just be made as an outter shell. However upon a closer inspection it was something very, very different than what she expected. "This metal, these parts. I don't recognize any of them?" It wasn't parts from the digital world and, the entire thing seemed to encompass her whole frame, she could barely see it as it was.
"It's not chrome digizoid? If it isn't then what could it be?" Dust decided to take over checking out whatever it was once Eva was off the ground, checking it out there was definitely metal, alongside a few other materials Dust couldn't really place his finger on but, slowly a few memories from his time in the human world came up, he had seen this stuff before. "Is that, Carbon Fiber?" Dust asked, hand hovering over it for a moment before pulling back, recalling that they weren't in a great shape at the moment, best not test it. "I-I think this stuff is from the human world?"
Luna apparently also accidentally said something wrong, which was definitely weird to the doctor at first, a machine digimon wasn't anything too weird. But Luna quickly recovered and decided to clarify. "I'm sorry, I misspoke. I merely meant I'm not used to working on something like this, I don't recognize some of the issues. Of course you're not a machine." Luna said with a reassuring smile. "But don't worry, it might take a minute but I'll figure out how to help you, let me just try this real quick, tell me if it helps." Luna said clasping her hands together, a green ring slowly extended around her person, encompassing both her and Eva. "Healing Field." Luna muttered under her breath, this usually healed and restored things within the ring, she was hoping that it would at least do something to alleviate what was ailing her.

The healing field made the digimon flinch! She winced, her eyes clamping tightly shut and her teeth clenching as what was meant to normally be something that was there to just help an injured digimon seemingly instead was causing her quite a bit of pain! The field seemed to dance and flow smoothly over the 'biological' parts of the Renamon very much as it should have, however, it became jagged and coarse at the boundaries between flesh and steel, coursing through the rest of her as though it was angular, sharp lightning flowing through her veins. The metal was data too, of course, everything was in the digital world, but it was different somehow. Wrong. As if it was coded in an entirely different language and architecture completely alien to digimon biology. If Luna had tried to use that healing field on a human before, it looked almost like the residual effects that one would see on their equipment or clothing, yet here it was grafted directly onto the data of the Renamon, leeching into every system, even worming its way to her digicore as if syphoning its energy to power all of its intricate power hungry systems directly from it.
What was perhaps even worse too, the pieces of Renamon that the cybernetics replaced, limbs, eyes, internals, even lower layers of her skin were simply gone, seemingly sloppily hacked away on a code level, no matter how sleek and well integrated the extensive cybernetics looked on the surface, and then replaced with the human-like technology, leaving the healing field with simply nothing to "grab" onto as it worked. Still, despite this, it had done something to lift the concussed fog Eva had found herself in; though whether it was Luna's healing move or the sudden spike of adrenaline from the feeling of thousands of burning needles being jabbed into her from misfiring artificial nerve endings was perhaps hard to say.
She sat up, blanket wrapped around to cover herself, and momentarily gasping for breath as if she had been dropped into a pool of ice water. "FFfffffff-... gah!"
She cut herself short, allowing herself a few seconds to compose herself before continuing, rather than simply going with her first instinct to cuss up a storm! "What was that?" She blinked a couple times more, as if finally clearing her vision as her HUD flickered and then solidified for a final time in front of her eyes, barely visible from an outsider's perspective as a subtle rapidly shifting orange glow to her pupils. She looked up at the now clear figures standing around her, realising for the first time that they were indeed NOT human.
"Second question, what the hell are you?"

Luna had her eyes closed while she was using the healing field, not expecting it at all that her ability would cause the opposite of what she intended. Thankfully Dust tapped her on the shoulder breaking her concentration just as Luna's spell ran its course fully, looking at Eva for a moment Luna was shocked as it seemed to be causing her some pain! "Wait, that's not right? How." The only time something like that happened was during a fight where her moves were flopped and switched, how could it be doing something like that now? Did it have something to do with those parts on her.
Luna cut the effect a bit early as Eva shouted out, rushing over for a moment to make sure she was ok. "I don't know, that's never happened before. At worst it's only ever caused a slight numbing sensation..." Luna was definitely confused, she was just restoring the digital code, what made it do- "Those metal bits, is it the same code?" Luna was used to manipulating her own and regular digimon's data, but if this wasn't like what she was used to, could that of caused it?
The next question confused her, tilting her head slightly Luna responded. "Uhh, Luna. I'm a Lekismon?" Did she just not know what type she was? that happened sometimes but she was pretty her Lekismon wasn't exactly rare around here.
Meanwhile Dust was focused on something he could barely catch, in her eyes something was flickering and rapidly shifting. "Sorry to ask so abruptly but, do you know what a digimon is?" Dust asked which caused Luna and Saya to look at him confused.
"Uhh, Dust? She is one. Oh are you checking to make sure her memory is ok? I know you lost yours before." Maybe that had something to do with it, regardless something was going on that had the trio at a bit of a loss.

The cyborg looked down to her hand, flexing it slightly. The scuff to the carbon fibre finish had been diminished somewhat, the scratches going less deep, though compared to what the healing field would have done normally these were some pretty unimpressive results, its flow disrupted at every turn by something seemingly almost incompatible with the digital world itself, warping and scattering away before it could get a proper hold. Still, the shot of adrenaline and shock to the system had seemingly done a lot more to bring the strange Renamon out of that door induced daze. She quickly stood up from the bed and looked on at the trio, still wrapped in the blanket as she took a couple of unsure steps back from them.
Then Luna said that she was a "Lekismon", to which Eva's only reply was a blank confused stare. From where Eva was standing Luna may as well have said she was from Mars. Dust's question didn't ring a bell either. Another alien sounding name without even a glimmer of familiarity to it, no matter how many times she rolled the sound of the word around in her mind. "No." She said after another small pause. "I haven't heard either of those names before."
"Uhh, Dust? She is one. Oh are you checking to make sure her memory is ok? I know you lost yours before."
Surely her memory was fine? She tried to think back. There had to be something more there, no? Something that would make what these 'aliens' were saying make sense, some explanation as to why she was here in the first place; yet no matter how hard she tried only flashes of a cold dark room of splintered blue-black glass and a pain as if she had been lit on fire then slowly torn apart came barely forward like the fading images of a poorly remembered dream. Panic was starting to set in now, her heart thudding in her chest, her hands shaking, no matter how much she tried to hide both, trying to keep some measure of composure.
"I-I don't remember much, a-and I'm not sure if I want to remember more."
