(Small warning before the thread, this MPC involves two little kids being confronted with the worst moments in their lives and dragged to for forefront, if you're not ok with seeing little kids suffer click off now, if you are cool with that, little concerning but I understand)
Beta felt her head hurting as she slowly got up off the floor, the last thing she remembered was being with Alpha out around the forest to go see her mom's teacher then... Ugh, she couldn't remember. Her head hurt too much. Placing her claw on the floor Beta quickly found that what she was standing on wasn't the soft grass of the forest, no. What she was standing on was more like, concrete? The stuff they used in Terminus for the streets at least. However it was more familiar then that, the coldness of the ground were something all too familiar to her.
Opening her eyes Beta saw nothing but darkness around her, the same darkness as before, the same. Same place she had spent the last five years of her life suffering in. The cold stillness of the air, the cold floor and creeping darkness surrounding her were still fresh in her mind. Instantly Panic started setting in as Beta stumbled backwards, falling on the ground. Yet she made almost no sound either. "W-What's going on, why can't I see anything?" Beta asked as she rapidly closed and opened her eyes, she learned how to control her ability to see in the darkness like Alpha, she should be able to see even if it was dark but no matter how many times she blinked all that remained was the same black void.
Her panic kept rising as her breathing got faster and faster, not knowing what to do Beta hit herself on the top of the head, not hard but just wanting whatever was affecting her eyes to stop, making get them to start working. She didn't know, the rising panic she was feeling and the sense of darkness surrounding her made her want to try anything so she smacked herself again, over and over until she managed to damage herself a little too much, bits of data leaking from her forehead that caused the Hackmon to stop. "No- Nononononono! It can't be gone. ALPHA! MOM! DYLAS!" Beta cried into the darkness as she kept backing up, hoping to find some wall or something to cling to in order to steady herself. However no matter how much she moves no such wall would be found, it was almost as if the darkness itself stretched on forever, creeping further and further into a dark abyss.
All this just caused the Hackmon's panic to rise even more, tears starting going down her eyes as she started to breath fire around her, hoping the light of her fire could do something, ANYTHING, to counteract the dark void that enveloped her, however no matter how hard she tried, no light seemed to of been able to be produced, no matter how much force she put into her attack it would do nothing to stop the darkness around her. Slowly Beta's hopes started to fall, turning away from where she was and starting to charge into the void, she had to find something ANYTHING, there had to be something other than her here, something she could see. Something that could help. She couldn't, she wouldn't. "I can't be here, not here again. NOT BACK HERE! THAT WASN'T A DREAM! ALPHA, MOM, DYLAS. EVERYONE. THAT WASN'T A DREAM I DIDN'T WAKE UP BACK HERE!" Beta shouted as her voice raised to a panicked shout, she couldn't be back in that room, that same dark room she spent her life trapped in. She didn't just wake up from her adventures with Alpha, her Mom. Everyone. That wasn't a dream, she escaped she wasn't, wasn't, wasn't.
Despair enveloped the Hackmon as her charge slowed down to a walk, then slowed down further into almost a crawl before ultimately she completely stopped, letting the silence of where she was completely consume her. Despair overtook Beta as she simply fell to the ground, all her energy, her optimism was just gone. Any hope she had of leaving had left also. Laying on the ground Beta looked sideways into the void. "All of that, my friends. My adventures. All of them, it was just another dream. Another small escape from here? Everyone, Alpha. Mom.... Dad." Her voice barely rose up to a whisper as she started crying, the sound of her sobs being the only thing to echo in the dark abyss she was in only furthering her depression on it.
"I, I should've known. A twin brother? The Daughter of Heroes? Friends, Family... No, of course that was just a dream...." As she said that though a memory passed her by, her twin brother holding her claws and promising her that he was real, that no matter what he'd be by her side. "Alpha.... Please, Save me." Beta spoke, her voice barely above a whisper as she laid there like she had done so for so long, letting the darkness fully envelop her as she started to drift off, once again trying to escape this place in the land of her dreams.... Only no dreams would ever come again.
Alpha felt his head hurt really badly as he got up from what seemed like a bed, it was a lot harder than his usual bed though. His back hurting a bit Alpha let out a small laugh before talking. "Hey Beta, didn't we go see Mom's teacher yesterday? What happened with that my head hu-" Alpha asked as he looked over to his sisters side of the bed, only to find there was no other side of the bed. "W-what the heck? Beta!" Alpha shouted as he jumped out of bed. Only to find his room wasn't his room, there wasn't anything on the walls anymore. None of Beta's stuffed animals, none of his posters or books. It wasn't even as big as his room anymore. "What's going on?" Alpha asked as he rushed out the door and down the stairs.
As he made his way to the bottom of the stairs he was met with someone he didn't think he'd ever see in his house again, sitting on a chair was that same dastard who ruined his life. Myotismon. "Oh Alpha, you're awake. Lazy boy, training was a few hours ago." He replied nonchalantly as he sat in his chair reading a piece of paper, only to be jumped by Alpha almost instantly.
Blocking Alpha's claw his with hand Myotismon looked shocked at the Hackmon as he threw the kid off, sending Alpha back to the floor with his claws drawn. "You, Sonova. What did you do to Beta!" Alpha shouted as he got ready to fight, the level difference not bothering him at all as he got ready to take on this dastard.
"Who are you talking about Alpha? Who's Beta?" Myotismon asked as he got up, hands at his side looking at Alpha with obvious confusion on his face. "Also what's wrong with your voice, that isn't the usual voice you use Son-" As that word crossed his mouth Alpha struck again, this time his attack landed true causing Myotismon to stumble a bit.
"Don't call me your son! I ain't your son I'm Ciel's!" Alpha called out as he got ready to fight.
Myotismon dusted himself off before nodding to himself. "Oh my, well. I do believe I understand what the problem is now." Myotismon said as he started to walk closer to a confused Alpha. "I suppose I should've seen it coming, after all recombining with that Hackmon must've affected you a lot more then I thought it would, I suppose it'll pass with time son, don't worry."
Alpha stumbled back a bit upon hearing that, eyes wide open. "R-recombining? What are you talking about?" Alpha knew what he was talking about, deep down he did. However Alpha didn't want to accept it.
"You don't recall that either, my oh my what a pickle, you see in order to regain that 'hero's' power to defeat me, you and that other half combined in order to try and take me down. It's just a shame she didn't know." Myotismon said while chuckling darkly to himself.
"What are you talking about, what didn't she know!" No, it couldn't of been, looking around Alpha knew this place. This was his old home, when he still lived with Myotismon. When Beta and Ciel were still trapped..... No....
"Why, that you're still on my side of course." if Alpha had blood it would be frozen solid at the moment, staring up at Myotismon Alpha's mouth opened but no words came out, fear enveloped his entire body as Myotismon continued. "I must say you even surprised me, leading that naive girl along with no remorse. She trusted you completely. Ciel too, that was a nice touch. To think the first thing, you did with Jes' power was to kill the woman he loved, if that isn't irony then I for sure do not know what is." Myotismon let out a laugh just thinking about it.
"N-No, that's not. I wouldn't. No! You're lying! I'd... I'd never do that to my own sister! She's, I.... I'm not like you!" Alpha was stumbling hard with his words as he lashed out against Myotismon, who simply grabbed the Hackmon by the throat before pulling him close.
"No, you're worse Alpha." His voice grew cold as his grip tightened around Alpha's neck. "You manipulated a young girl who was just happy to see the sun into doing your bidding, you let a wounded woman protect you, call you her son. But you never cared about either of them, they were just pawns so you could get to me, surpass me. Well good news Alpha." Despite Alpha struggling against the ultimate level digimon it meant nothing as he pulled the kid closer, whispering in his ear. "You have, they served their use perfectly. Now you can be free to be just, like, me."
Alpha struggled to get away from him, smashing his claws against the ultimate level digimon but he wouldn't let go, tears falling down the Hackmon's face as his struggling slowly stopped. Face looking down as his frustrations gave way to tired sobs. Myotismon, bored of him threw the Hackmon to the ground and walked off leaving the young kid crying on the ground. "Mom, Beta. Beta no, please no, not you. Please. Beta!" Alpha shouted into the floor yet no one heard and, no one would ever care.
"Alpha.... please, save me."
"Please no, not you. Please. Beta!"
The twins heard each other's cries from where they were, it was a brief moment but a moment was all either of them needed. Slowly getting up wiping their tears away Alpha and Beta rose to a standing position as they looked around themselves.
"Alpha, he needs me!"
"Beta needs my help!"
Hearing their twin call out for help the two of them felt newfound energy rise up to the surface, slowly the nightmare areas they found themselves in seemed to drift further and further away from their minds, fear, sadness, regret. They all gave way to determination.
"I'm here for you Alpha!"
"No one will ever hurt you again Beta!"
The two called out as their power built up to an extreme, the sheer force of which caused the nightmares they found themselves in to start cracking, to start breaking as their resolve to save their sibling built up to an apex.
"I'll stand by you Alpha!"
"I'll protect you Beta!"
As their power reached its peak it seemed to push itself further, beyond the limits of what the twins were normally capable of, exploding around them shattering the worlds they found themselves in apart as the two of them evolved into their champion forms, Alpha cloaked in white and red while Beta enveloped the darkness around her cloaked in black and blue.
"Until the End!"
"Until the End!"
As they shouted the world they found themselves in completely shattered, the nightmare hellscape they were in breaking away as their eyes opened back on the forest floor, only instead of their rookie forms their power had reached new heights. Swapping colors with one another clad in their twins' colors. Power surging around them far greater than it had ever been before.
"Darkness Install!"
"Dragon Install!"
They shouted as the power slowly calmed and they saw the digimon who had put them in such an ordeal, a Shademon standing before them, all of their eyes were wide as Alpha and Beta stared him down before uttering.
"Joint Attack!"
"Joint Attack!"
And the rest was history...
