On the shoreline of Whitewater was a building like none Levi had ever seen before. As she drew closer to the marble edifice that put the skyscrapers in the city itself to shame. It was coated from head to foot in lights that she had not noticed in the daytime and, of course, due to the battle against the DarkTyrannomon. She can be drawn to it by what can only be described as the overwhelming pillar of light that was the Casino.
By its position on the beach, she thought it was a lighthouse as the front of the 5¥ Casino was lit up brighter than any Christmas tree. Levi stepped forward to take a closer look and found herself stepping on the very edge of a magnificent carpet of red silk from the door to the entryway. Lined by tall, carved pillars of white stone and glittered with jewels. At the end of the carpet was a set of steps which raised up to two extremely large double doors.
Levi moved forward to enter too, but was instantly pushed back. Two imposing looking Digimon stood on either side of the door. They had been standing so still, Levi had thought them statues.
“No entry. Not tonight.” “Closed… for a private event. As Levi stood back up again—their swords flashed menacingly and crossed together. Creating a blockade over the doorway.
"Leave.”
The two Knightmon shook their heads. The eyes beneath the helms focused on the tiny shark. Levi turned back on herself and the two knights retracted their swords. Standing as still as statues, once more. Levi tilted her head as she wondered what was going on. A fin pressed up to her mouth as she considered. Head slightly tilted to one side.
“Psst. Hey you.” A voice called from nowhere. “Psst over here. Hey!”
Levi turned on the spot, head tilted, but failed to catch sight of anyone. She took a few more duck-footed steps down the carpet and slipped on a roll of material and fell flat onto her face.
“Uh, are you okay?”
Something was looking down at her with an expression of shock and worry. “You alright, kid? Sorry if I startled ya…”
"A..." Levi muttered looking up into the face of the Digimon who stood over her.
The Digimon put out a hand that Levi took and lifted her slowly back up onto her feet. Levi tilted her head again, catching full sight of this odd creature. It was a bunch of cardboard boxes stacked on top of one another. Two red eyes stuck out from the topmost box. One smaller than the other. “I is a Levi, who is a you?"
“Don’t be afraid, I mean no harm. Name is Bacomon,” it said, bowing to her. “Nice to meet you. Anyway, we should step out of sight… assuming you’d be interested in hearing me out. Might even get you inside.”
“Levi can go in… but scary knight said Levi not go in?” The shark said tilting her head, once again. A look of confusion on her very innocent face.
“Ah yes, I figured. But, that can be… helped. I mean I can help you. All you gotta do is…” Bacomon leaned in and whispered in a very low voice.
“I can give you an outfit which will guarantee you a tip inside. But you gotta help me out. There is a private party tonight and let’s say some of the guests… well, they’re a little troublesome. I’d like to know what they’re planning, y’know?”
Levi tilted her head the other way. Her blank look caused the Bacomon to sigh. “Wait let me explain more.”

It took a very long time for the little shark to grasp Bacomon’s plan. But eventually, just as night had fallen and the sky had turned from deep purple to inky black – was she ready. Bacomon had explained to her that it would be a dangerous mission and to go in as she would make it twice so. Her appearance was understandably noteworthy, definitely standing out from most of the regular casino dwellers.
Fortunately, Bacomon had a plan for this eventuality, too. From a sack, he pulled out; what looked like cut-out pieces of his own body, except hastily painted a splotchy green. “Here, slip these on. Quick, before the Knightmon get suspicious. Or anyone else sees us…”
With some effort and difficulty, Levi slipped the cardboard boxes over her head and down over her chest. A hole for her her tail had been cut out the back so it could stick out awkwardly. Her fins were replaced by cardboard hands, which were just smaller boxes with holes in so she could hold a taped on cardboard bone club. The head piece was overly large, bouncing up and down over the sharks eyes as she stepped in a line to test the sturdiness.
“Perfect, you look just like one of those accursed Goblimon.” Bacomon said, straightening the helmet and then pointing Levi to look at the guards. Two large Knightmon with staring blue eyes focused on the steps which led up to the Casino’s doors. “You gotta get by those two. Luckily they’re not too smart. Remember, you’re a Goblimon who’s late for the party.”
“Uh, okay doke! I'ma go now!” Levi exclaimed, taking several duck-footed steps forward and almost fell onto her face on the very first step. “Oh no, I’m not sure I can watch this…”
Levi stepped up to the Knightmon who peered down at her imperiously.
“No, visitors. Not tonight.” “Private Event, leave”
The two Knightmon repeated it twice in unison. “Uh… me is a Goblevi. Rawr! I iz a late for a party, let me in!” She said, in her loudest and in attempt of copying the Goblin’s harsh tones or as much as it was explained to her. With clanks of their armor, the two Knights moved aside slowly but continued to watch Levi warily as she passed. Her tail wagging as she wandered past into the slowly opening doors. “Les be friends next time, okay!” She said, turning back and smiling a wide smile, partly hidden by the box. The two Knightmon looked at one another but the doors shut, blocking them from view, once more.
“Wooooah…” Levi said, almost tipping over once again. She wished she had many more eyes to take in everything she could see. The long red carpet that had led up her the stairs lined the room cutting the enormous space into two. On one side was a series of bright red machines with a large handle that was making odd clinks and clanks. Occasionally a Digimon who was sitting on one of the tall chairs, exclaimed in happiness as coins dropped from the slot or struck the machine with an angry fist when it didn’t. The other side of the room was all tables of green felt with small chairs on it and a Digimon behind each, dealing out cards which caused several more Digimon to exclaim or grumble, depending on the situation.
“Levi want to see everything…” she muttered to herself taking a large step forward; her mouth wide open and her eyes glimmering.
“Not now. Later. Come on back to the mission!” A voice emanated from nowhere causing Levi to jump. She was so surprised that her cardboard head almost fell off. “Don’t panic. Don’t panic. It’s got a speaker in the helmet so I can hear you and you can hear me.”

Levi took a few tentative steps forward; her head turning left and right so rapidly that her little head was a blur. Just to catch every little thing that was happening, every Digimon who was putting golden coins into the machines and pulling the levers. As beeps and boops erupted from the thing; creating a cacophony of strange noises as dials turned furiously on the front of the machine. Occasionally more joins would fall into a draw at the bottom and other times to the dismay of the Digimon, nothing would drop. But the machine would get a slap of annoyance.
What looked like a clay pot was playing on six machines at once with long, twisting tentacles. While the two remaining tentacles collecting any falling coins to drop back into the machine. As the little shark passed, a golden coin rolled from the machine and to Levi’s feet. She picked it up and looked at it. It glinted in the light of the many machines LEDs.
“Oyy you! That’s mine! Gibbb it here, you little goblin.” A tentacle stretched out and snatched the coin from between Levi’s exposed fins, before pulling it back. “Nooooo, stealin’! Got it. I already had to warn your ugly green goblin friends!!” It said shaking angry orange tentacles like fists at the little shark.
“Is a Goblevi, nots-a-little goblin!” she said, simply. Her head slightly tilted to one side. “Okay doke? Les be friends!”
The Octomon looks a little taken a back by the friendly nature she was exuding from every gill. Rubbing its jar-head, it looked confusedly from the tiny cardboard-covered shark and back to the machine. “Alright, fine, fine. Just get a move on. The rest of you, went that-a way.”
Levi smiled, revealing long white teeth from within the cardboard mask and the moved slowly forward, duck-footedly in the direction that Octomon had indicated with a flick of his tentacle.
Before she had moved an inch, three Goblimon had appeared. One was pale green and far larger than most of the other goblins that she had met thus far. The second looked like it has frostbite with pale blue skin and letting out an ominous giggle every few seconds. The third was darker green and had a grumpy expression across its gormless face.
“Hey you, where ya’ think ya goin?” “Party, this way. Hehehe~” “Yeah, get a move on. I’m stravin,”
The three Goblimon marched Levi forward; occasionally pushing her in the direction of a private room that was off the left side of the casino. The cardboard helmet was too large for the shark, making it difficult to see through it. Once or twice, she almost crashed into various other patrons of the casino who were in their way who merely grunted something under his breath about goblins.
Soon enough, they had reached a massive marble room lined with pillars in-between elegant curtains that hung from the ceiling. The floor was so shiny, Levi could see her—slightly odd—reflection looking back at her. On one side of the room was an immense table of red cloth that was draped magnificently along it. Levi though that the poor table looked like it was going to collapse under the weight of the plates of food across it. The smell of meat poured into the air and to Levi’s nose and was making her salivate. As she made a step towards it, she heard a familiar voice.
“That’s... very... true! I am... the greatest... Arch Wizard, on… this... side of the Digital World… at the...very… least… probably… all of… it!”
She paused between words as she took chomps of a massive piece of meat-on-the-bone and a bowl of rice so large, it looked in danger of spilling over the floor. The few Digimon who were paying her any attention at all were rolling their eyes and looking disgusted.
Like green blurs, the three Goblimon rushed towards the food also; sharp-toothed mouths wide as if they hadn’t been fed in a week. Ogremon was on the other-side of the room, in very loud and carrying conversation with a large Digimon who wobbled from side-to-side, spoke in a bellow and let out large hiccups every few words. The shark turned her head to look at the great monster ogre who's expression looked oddly murderous.
“Iz good to see ya little guy. *HICK*, I’d though… *HICK*… that the boss had given up on ya. But *HICK* look at you now. *HICK* Who'da *HICK* thunk *HICK* it.” Ginkakumon took a very large swig from his gourd and then wiped his mouth on the nearest draping curtain. His eyes unfocused as he looked at Ogremon.
“Shut it. I ain't some ordinary digimon. I'm da Ogrekin and don't you forget it,” Ogremon grunted, pushing past Ginkakumon and marching away to the other side of the room.
The giant-armored Digimon let out a loud cackle and then pounced on another startled Goblimon and began speaking in a even more loud voice. “Aww… he’s so touchy… let me *HICK* tell you a story of the Ogrekin’s *HICK* his-*HICK*-tory. Les start at…*HICK* the start. The little ba..*HICK*”

The party continued for some time with Ginkakumon loudly telling embarrassing stories about a certain Ogrekin in one corner. While a loud-mouthed phoenix loudly proclaimed her worth and power in another, whilst consuming all the food she could fit in her beak.
“Quick Levi, you must learn what we need to know.” The voice of Bacomon whispered in her ear. “Before we lose our chance. Go...”
The little shark wandered duck-footedly around the floor, trying to see through her overlarge cardboard mask, watching the other Digimon who were congregating in small parties. Approaching one, she tilted her head a little as she stared into three blank, gormless faces. “Uh, Lev...uh, Goblevi… want know… why we here? Okey doke?" Levi muttered, tilting her head a little the other way.
The three goblins stared at Levi with looks of confusion on their faces for just a second, before they answered.
“Uh, I dunno…” The darkest-skinned goblin said, tilting his own head in time with Levi. “I forget. Hehehe…Free food?” The second one said, pale-face contorted into a smirk. “Maybe, yeah. I could eat way more than you though…”
“No, you idiots. Wasn’t it to, uh, announce the new proje--” The third started to say but was cut off.
A roar of noise had erupted and every single head had turned to look in the direction of the commission. It appeared a fight had broken out in the midst of the party. Ogremon stood on one side with his large bone club raised, threateningly. On the other stood a tall, monstrous Digimon. Thick, matted black hair hung down its curved back. Overly long arms stretched out in front of it ending with black clawed paws that shimmered in the bright light of many hanging chandeliers.
“Get lost, mongrel. Or I’ll crush you.”
“I’d like to see you try,” the lion-like Digimon roared back. Crimson eyes focused on its prey, it licked its lips and took a step forward. “I’ll rip you apart, little Ogrekin. Just like always.” It let out a laugh that was more like a howl and raised a black claw threateningly. The two flew forward at once at a speed so fast, Levi was barely able to see it. Ogremon's club and MadLeomon's claws collided in the middle of the room. Releasing a shockwave so strong; many of the tables tipped over, sending food and plates flew all over the room.
“Not bad, kitty cat.” Ogremon snarled, spinning his club. His other hand was reaching down to a satchel that was hanging around its side. A glint of gold appeared for just a second before another voice raised over the chaos followed by a loud hiccup. A large metal hand pushed the two apart, pushing the two apart.
“Enough.. *HICK* B-Back off now. *HICK* We are all friends here… W...we...are Titan’s Armies and soon *HICK* thanks to the n-new *HICK* advances made by the scie...scien….the dorks, we shall be unstoppable *HICK* and I will get my…” Ginkakumon took a step forward and then collapsed into a nearby table with an ear-splitting crash of splintering wood.
Several Digimon rushed out from a door on each of the hall. Each one looking identical to the last, in Levi’s opinion, they looked like plastic bags with gas mask faces. The Troopmon began to pull with some difficulty the now sleeping Ginkakumon to one side of the room and to clean up the mess he had caused. Ogremon and MadLeomon stared at each-other for a second longer and then both stormed away.
Levi tilted her head confused by all that had just happened. A voice, once again, spoke into her ear, now excited and speaking far faster. “Little shark, you must learn what Ginkakumon was talking about. This is most important. Go, now.”

As the party returned to a state of normality or as much as a party for a bunch of thugs, criminals and world-destroying monsters could be. The fight had been mostly forgotten, although she could still hear the distant mutters and exaggerated rumour-mongering. While, most of the guests had moved to one side of the room to grab food from the long table laid with plates of food that reached up to the ceiling. Standing to one side, Levi wondered what she should do next. Her cardboard faux hand pressed to her flat mouth.
Maybe if she waited under the table, she could pop out when she saw Ginkakumon getting food. Although, she wasn’t fully sure that he would want to eat after all that drink that made his legs wobble quite oddly. But, it was a better plan than any.
As Levi moved forward, a bunch of Goblimon and Troopmon wearing frilly white aprons moved out from a door to one side of the room; to remove the empty plates which had begun to pile up. “HEY YOU!” A voice said, crankily. Levi turned her head, tilted slightly to one side. From the cut outs in the cardboard helmet, she caught sight of a very gruff looking Goblimon holding a stack of plates that jingled with each move.
“You! Take these to the kitchen.” It said, dropping the plates into her arms which caused her to almost collapse under their weight. “What you waitin’ for. Kitchen now.” It said, drawing out a familiar club from the frilly white apron it had tied around its waist. “Got it?”
Levi nodded twice in rapid succession, not wanting to get bonked by the business end of the goblin’s weapon. Her helmet flapping oddly as she did so, but, it was clear this goblin was just as brainless as the rest of them and failed to notice a thing. But, slowly and carefully, winding her way through the guests; the little shark made her way towards the kitchens. A large metal door that divided the hall from the room beyond. An old and slightly rusted cooker that seemed to be spilling out smoke in one corner surrounded by food encrusted tables filled with many bowls and plates that were being filled by the cook’s large spoon.
“Uh, Goblevi has a these, for a you?” She said, in a loud voice. But the cook didn’t turn around. “HALLOWWWW, GOBLEVI HAD A THESE FOR A YOU!” Her voice echoed off the walls and the creature turned to look at her. A plump red body with long thin arms that ended in giant clubs. The eyes thinned as it stared at Levi and it gave her a look as dirty as the kitchen was.
“Uck. Didn’t I tell you. You put them on THAT table over there. You can’t get the help now-a-days. A-YUCK.” It pointed a club at a table in the darkest corner of the room. Many plates were already piled up high. “Gotchu! Goblevi do it!”
“Whatever.”
Levi set the plates down with a great rattle and she turned back to look at the RedVegiemon. Her head, once more, tilted to one side. It was currently dropping something that looked like a giant chunk of beef, bone and all, into the pot. Followed by very large looking chilli peppers that seemed to bubble as it struck the water, adding to the vapor and smoke.
“What are you doing, Levi. You need to fin-” the voice said in her ear but was cut off by a loud voice.
“Oii. What you just standin’ there for. Get busy, COME AND HELP ME, RIGHT NOW!!! A-YUCK!” Levi jumped, causing her cardboard helmet to jump up in the air and momentarily revealing her shark face. But the RedVegiemon was too busy with his stew to notice...

Unable to articulate a spoon with his club-like arms, the RedVegiemon dunked his entire head into the mixture of disgusting ingredients that he was calling a soup. “Hmm, A-YUCK…” It said from inside the pot. “I think I need a few more ingredients…”
Levi watched from afar, her head tilted to one side. Purple bubbles and vapor flooded from the large metal pot filling the air with a toxic aroma somewhere between dirty socks and stagnant water. The little shark pinched her nose from inside the box. “How’s about…” It said, pulling its head from within the disgusting soup; which also was covering the entire top of it’s leafy head. “This, no this… A-YUCK…”
It began to throw more and more ingredients that didn’t seem to go at all into the spot. Black smoke erupted from it and added to the cloud that was forming above them. “Now, that is a masterpiece!” The plant said, turning on the spot to look at Goblevi. Her head tilted to one side. “Oii you, take this soup out to our guests, right NOWWWW! A-YUCK.”
Levi jumped again at his sudden tone shift. Once more her headgear jumped with her, revealing momentarily the flat shark face beneath it. Her mouth open and full of bladed teeth and her eyes wide and brightest yellow. The RedVegiemon paused for a second. His mouth fell open too.
“Uhh, wait a-- AYUCK!”
Before the plant monster could say anything and mostly on impulse; Levi had thrown her trident through the air. But, it missed the vegetable target. It soared over his head and struck the pot that was still standing on the sideboard, releasing a loud and ominious gong-like note. It began to rock, forward to back on its great metal bottom. “INTRUDER! FAKE! AYUCK!” RedVegiemon screamed at the top of his voice, raising his club arms in a threatening manner. "Nuh! uh!"
Before he could jump on Levi; the pot began to rock and with a final clanking bang that seemed to echo through the dank, dirty kitchen. The pot fell forward, landing on the head of the RedVegiemon. Only leaving his bulbous bottom sticking out. The disgusting soup leaked out from the gaps in the pot and leaking puddles of purple ooze onto the floor, which caused the bricks to smoke and sizzle.
Levi moved forward, amazed at her own skill. Albeit accidental. Her head still tilted as she looked at the fate of the plant. It appeared to be shouting insults but his voice was completely muffled and unrecognizable. "Bye bye, meanie guy!"
“Quick Levi, now is your chance to return to the party,” the voice said from within her helmet which she had quickly replaced. “Okay doke! Levi goes back,” she turned on the spot and once more, caused an accident at the expense of the RedVegiemon. Her tail swiped the pot and caused it to tip, stuck vegetable and all. It fell right side up, once more. The bulging bottom of the poor stuck Digimon now sticking straight up.
“Goblevi iz sorry. Hope you iz a okay!” The little shark muttered as she pushed the doors back open and returned to the party. The marble hall was bright after the murky darkness of the kitchen and caused her to blink excessively.
Several Goblimon; including the three known as the Goblisquad to crowd around her. Expecting more food to be brought out.
“Oii! Where da soup!” “Yeah! I could easily eat it all” “So, hungry, hungry! Hehehehe!”
The little shark pressed a cardboard covered fin to her face and thought hard. “Goblevi think… uh…” Then it came to her, reminded of what the Vegetable had said just before the ‘accident’. “Goblevi thinks that the food isn’t quite dones yet. The Red Meanie gotta put more stuffs in. So is a soon, please waits, okay doke?”
This seemed to pacify them for now, as they grumpily returned to the destroyed table of food, with only the barest scraps left, including bones and many broken shards of plate.

As Levi moved away from the table, with the three Goblin’s were pacified for the minute. The voice in her ear said in a squeaky voice. “Quick, Levi, you need to learn more about their plans. Before time is up and we are discovered.”
The little shark nodded twice to herself and moved forward into the moving crowd. Fortunately, being at leg height of most of the guests meant that she could squeeze through gaps with minimal difficulty. A side-effect of wearing several cardboard boxes. After pushing through many feet, Levi heard a low growl of a voice. “Move it, I want a word Now.”
Right before the little sharks eyes, a large green hand grasped the arm of another shadowed guest. With seemingly no complaints, Ogremon pulled them towards a small courtyard and with a shove, the shadowed figure crashed into the side of tall marble fountain designed to look like a handsome centaur. Water shot from the end of the arrow that was held in a bow and down into the pond below.
Levi moved closer, ducking down even more so she wouldn’t be noticed. Fortunately, the courtyard was dark and overcast by a flower strewn canopy. “Speak now. Tell me everything he is planning.”
The shadowed figure let out a large hiccup and leaned clumsily forward. The ray of light coming through the canopy revealed it was Ginkakumon. An intoxicated expression on his face as he pressed a hand against the fountain. “Tell me everything, or…” Ogremon said, lifting his club threateningly and pressing the tip of it against Ginkakumon’s chin.
There was an odd silence and without hesitation, Ginkakumon moved. His arm raised so fast it was barely visible. The bone club flew up into the air and fell away, rolling into the shadows. “Do you really… think. I know more than you, Ogrekin.” A devilish look cut over his face and he pushed Ogremon away with ease. “I know as much as he has told me and nothing more. Equal to you.”
“I don’t… He… he doesn’t tell… I don’t care. I want to know the plans. Now.” The Ogre growled, stepping back from Ginakumon. His eyes were reduced to slits as he stared deeply into Ginkakumon’s face which was still bright red.
“I thought… the… the Ogrekin would know all of his father’s plans and desires.
There was an odd pause as Ogremon considered his answer. “I know about Vademon’s plans. His inane projects, his creations or whatever he is doing stuck in his lab, all day long. Creating life, monster or whatever. His work with the crystals too. The ones from…”
“Well, times up. It was fun cha… chatting with you, kiddo. See ya later~” Ginkakumon said. He put a hand on Ogremon’s shoulder and then stumbled away. Accidently knocking the bow from the centaur which shattered as it hit the ground. “Add it to my bill or whatever.” He was saying to one of the annoyed Troopmon that had appeared at the noise and then vanished into the shadows.
Levi tilted her head, slightly confused by what she had heard. Ogremon stormed past and moved back into the party. Not even noticing the shark. Only catching the thunderous look on the Ogre's face and a mutter of "I'll show them..."
Levi followed at a distance. Not wanting to be seen, but not wanting to lose the Ogrekin. “That’s good, we could learn some more. My little shark friend. Very very good, indeed!” The voice of Bacomon sounded far more excited than ever before. It was clear that he had got some of the answers he had been searching for. Even if Levi didn’t understand it.

Pushing the doors back open, Ogremon returned to the party. A look of menace and uncontrollable fury all over his face. So, much, so, it was like he was exuding anger. Party guests were moving aside as he stomped through them. A firm grip on his bone club as if he was going to smack the nearest guest through the ceiling.
The little shark lagged a little behind, her cardboard head jumping up and down with each clumsy duck-footed step she took. She moved towards the table still piled high with empty plates and dishes where the three Goblimon were still chowing down. Their greedy eyes scanning the surface of the plates for anything left behind to the repulsion of the guests around them.
“You three are still eating!?” Ogremon roared. “I’ve had enough of this place. We’re leaving now.” Raising his club, he slammed it into the table and caused all three goblin to jump to attention.
“But boss, what about dessert!” “Yeah, all the cakes and ice cream, we can eat! Hehehe!” “I could eat far more than you both combined…”
With a snarl and a great thunk, the bone club fell onto the head of the greenest Goblimon who fell backwards into the table. “I said move it, you imbecile. Now.”
“Yeah, dummy…” The second Goblimon said, bringing his club onto the head of his icy cousin. “Ouch. Oh yeah! Dummy! Hehehe!” SnowGoblimon did the same to Shamamon who ducked out of the way and slammed it into the face of the now unconscious green Goblimon.
“Enough messing around, I got bigger plans and we need to move bef…” The rest of the sentence was cut short as everyone turned to the kitchen. Something that sounded like a drum being hit by a hammer sounded from within. Then, the doors burst open with a great thunk and a pot rolled out into the middle of the hall.
“Hey look, dessert is here!” “What kind of dessert comes in a soup pot, dummy.”
Sticking out from the bottom of the pot was a large, plump body of a scarlet color. A voice sounded from within, echoing outward. “HEY! HEY! GET ME OUTTA HERE!”
The two remaining Goblimon jumped down and started to tug at the pot by the handles. But, it remained firmly stuck over the RedVegiemon’s head. They banged their clubs on the top of the pot but all this did was cause the Digimon to shout in pain and annoyance. “Not like that you idjit… AYUCK, YUCK.”
“Wait, wait. There is an intruder amongst us. A shark dressed like one of us.” RedVegiemon shouted and the room fell silent. “Look for the one in the cardboa--” But the rest of his words were cut off by another thonk from a club.
Bedlam ensued. The guests were running out of the doors, unsure if the intruder was someone they should worry about and the Titan Members who remained where searching for the shark. Levi who was hiding beneath one of the tables, tilted her head, unsure what to do.
“Levi, we’re blown. Get out of there before you get caught!”
The little shark needed no more incentive to move. Dropping the cardboard outfit into a pile, she ran from under the table and using the mass of crowd as a shield to protect her from sight. Fortunately she was so short that is was difficult to find her amidst the swarming legs. Although, she was being buffeted from side to side and too and frow. Her eyes were rolling in her little head, confused and very disoriented. The loud voice of Fenixmon could be heard over all the rest as she stood on the table. "I, Fenixmon, Arch Wizard and Master of Explos--" The rest of her words were swiftly cut off as she was knocked from her perch by a arrant swinging club.
“There you are. I’ll crush you.” Came the voice of Ogremon who swung his own club at the milling crowd. But, he only managed to hit a few more Goblimon who was moving towards the direction of the doors.
“Nuh, uh. No friends, with the Levi.” The shark said, ducking under the feet of another larger Digimon and crawled. The Ogremon roared in anger and tried to stomp closer, but it was impossible to cross the river of milling bodies.
Soon, the crowd had pushed her all the way through the Casino, past the Octomon who was still playing at a coin game and through the large doors flanked by the Knightmon. By this point, night had truly fallen and the bright lights of the casino were ever more prominent. Almost like a lighthouse on the edge of the beach. It would be rather pretty if not for the many furious thugs that she had left behind.
“Levi wonder what Ogreguy meant though…” She said, tilting her head as she ducked into a side alley and away from the shouts, noise and footsteps of hundreds of people. Levi wasn’t sure what any of the things she had overheard meant. But, it seemed to have made Bacomon happy, which also made her happy. So, all in all… it was a good night’s work. "Levi has a confuse..." she said, pressing a fin to her mouth as she wandered through the crowd.
Meanwhile far above, on the rooftops. The little cardboard Digimon stood, far out of reach and further out of sight. Hidden behind one of the tall clay chimneys that was wafting acrid smoke. Bacomon pulled out a square device, similar in design to Levi’s D-Terminal but smaller. Pressing a button on the front, he began to speak into it in a low voice.
“Good evening. Mission successful. We got a lot of new information that I’ll put into a report for the DLA. What was most worrying was the news of Vademon using crystals, like we had assumed when he invaded. Expect my report on both the night’s events and the shark, very soon. Over and out.”
Indeed, that little Shark Digimon had been useful and proved quite easy to manipulate due to her innocent nature. Perhaps, they should keep an eye on her. Just in case she proves useful in the future for the sake of the Digital World. Happy with his nights work, Bacomon jumped down into the nearest alleyway and then out onto the streets to mill into the moving crowd.
