Rotwang is always the embodiment of the stereotypical mad scientist, and he embodies that archetype fully in both breadth and depth. Specifically, he always thinks of everyone around him, including himself, as well as everything in the world, as potential specimens to be employed in his research studies and treats them according to this belief. Therefore, he never has respect or regard for most others and is even willing to turn his subordinates, allies, and even himself into lab rats or some other means to an end if doing so would allow him to acquire all the materials and data he needs for his research.
This is especially true if these materials and data are ones that Rotwang has not yet encountered in any previous situation as there is nothing he is as obsessed with as the pursuit of ever more knowledge at any cost, meaning that he would toss all semblance of ethics, morality, common social graces, and even the instinct of self-preservation aside without an iota of compunction. This is especially true if it means that he can achieve/acquire said knowledge or source of knowledge if it happens to pique his curiosity strongly.
Another aspect of this personality of Rotwang’s is his absolute hatred of the concept of perfection and this, in turn, stems from his firm belief that the achievement of such a state would leave nothing more to strive for in the foreseeable future. In combat situations, Rotwang always loves to toy around with his opponents by torturing them gradually by using a variety of strategies and tactics until they break down completely and surrender to his whims.
To this end and in the interest of facilitating the execution of this battle style, Rotwang always prefers to research all possible opponents as extensively as is possible for him through various remote means to tilt the chance of winning against them in his favor. Beyond that, he has no qualms about manipulating or working with anyone and anything or portraying himself in a certain way to get what he wants and/or needs in any given situation through various means and can act in needlessly melodramatic ways due to the influence of his incorrigibly eccentric nature. Lastly, even though he possesses all these character flaws, he never allows them to interfere with his optimal functionality in carrying out the various duties that come to him from his position as the proud and unchallenged leader of his Xros army.

He also possesses white to light-green brush-like hair that spikes up and has two locks draping over his face, and his skin always tends to possess a pale or sallow complexion. Furthermore, these two physical traits, like his lean build, are also present in him because of the combination of his enduring various stressors from his work and life as well as his proclivity of willful and total ignorance of his basic bodily needs if not forced by others to attend to them promptly. Aside from that, the first of the most notable traits of his appearance would be his sharp, rust-red eyes.
Apart from that, the next of the most notable traits about his body is the ever-present pair of dark circles that can be seen under his rust-red eyes which constantly haunt him due to his obsessively workaholic nature about engaging in his one, true love, aka his ongoing, ever-burgeoning, and multifarious mad science research studies as well as the associated pursuits therein and/or his bingeing in terms of his indulgence in one or more of his various other interests too. Moreover, these have been accumulating throughout his past till the present day and they only keep increasing as time goes on, but the only one of these blemishes that is normally visible is the suture lines present on his face. Finally, however, this outward, fully human appearance of his is a mere façade made possible by his holosuit device, and his true current form is that of a digimon which is known as “Frankenmon”, and this new body of his contains his human mind from his former truly human body with all the contents therein left intact.

The first piece of this mostly standard physician-scientist attire that Rotwang prefers to utilize as his default work attire is his white lab coat which always possesses numerous stains of some sort or another in various areas of its overall form. Additionally, the second piece is a bipartite one consisting of a formal long-sleeved shirt along with a formal necktie which is always knotted in the Eldredge style as per the conventions regarding their use. Furthermore, these two may vary in their hues every so often or even daily depending on his mood at the time.
Aside from that, the third piece is the formal or semi-formal pants that he wears below the formal shirt that he wears above. Apart from that, these pants are always held up by a tactical utility belt, and like his formal shirt and formal necktie, these may also vary in their hues every so often or even daily, again, depending on his mood at the time and on the needs of the situation.
Besides that, the fifth piece of this ensemble is Rotwang’s fully custom-made, polarized goggles and gas mask combo which have been designed by him for his use in various situations to protect his face from any potential damage to them. Pre-Digital World Intro Life to Digital World Intro
Rotwang was born as the only son of his parents who act as the co-heads of the current generation of the Frankenstein mafia family. This family was from rather old stock and its members had accumulated vast wealth, influence, and territory steadily through the generations. This, in turn, was achieved by this family’s members due to the secrets to their success such as their keen intellect, perseverance, strategic as well as tactical acumen, and so on. Naturally, Rotwang had inherited all these genetic gifts and more, thus making him a very promising prospect since childhood and leading to him being named by his family’s elders as the sole heir to all these assets of the Frankenstein family and its future leadership.
Consequently, Rotwang was then made to undergo rigorously comprehensive training in the theoretical and practical aspects of all areas of expertise that were expected to be known and implemented by the various scions of other such ultra-wealthy and highly influential families. Of course, when he was not busy with any of this, Rotwang ensured to keep himself busy by exploring his ongoing as well as ever-burgeoning fascination with all the STEM field subjects which had taken permanent root in him by that point due to his exposure to them in his formal education. Thus, time marched on steadily for him wherein he went from being a child to a teenager to being a young man who was now of college age.
Several significant developments occurred in Rotwang’s life during this long period. The first of these was that he skipped over high school and went straight to college due to his keen intellect allowing him to accumulate the requisite academic achievements. The next was the acquisition of his now permanent caniphobia toward bestial dogs and wolves and his acrophobia for 300+ m heights from the time when he had been playing atop a hill near his family’s estate in Berlin, Germany of that height during which point he had nearly fallen off said cliff due to being suddenly attacked by them. Then, in college, he undertook a dual major in biology and chemistry to enter the M.D./Ph.D. track of higher academic study after graduation from college. Naturally, he excelled in this period of his academic development just as he had done in his previous ones, and eventually graduated at the top of his class therein with the highest honors possible. Of course, he did not lag in any aspect of his ongoing advanced private tutelage or any aspect of his auto-didactic studies either but rather kept up with them as well.
Eventually, this obsession that Rotwang had developed for immersing himself in his ceaseless pursuit of ever newer and ever more advanced knowledge led to his now permanent mad physician-scientist persona taking root in him and later developing completely. Alongside this, various other aspects of his personality also began to take root and develop during this time. So, time marched on for him again till his 28th birthday, wherein he had finally decided to act upon his recently discovered love of Japanese culture and its various aspects, both traditional and modern, as well as his equally recently discovered fascination with pop culture, history, and mythology and petitioned his family’s elders for permission to head over to Japan and set down roots there.
Thanks to Rotwang’s stellar academic track record and since they saw the potential for expanding their influence into Japan in various ways with him spearheading this expansion, his family’s elders were only too happy to approve this request from him. Once that was done, Rotwang went through all the various paperwork that was necessary to join Tokyo University in Japan and once he had completed all of it, he headed over to Tokyo, Japan. After he arrived in said capital of Japan, he then went about setting up his base of operations in a rather upscale locale in the Shibuya ward of Tokyo, with this neighborhood being known as “Society Hill” and which served as the setting for the sprawling residences of various other families which were ultra-rich and highly influential like his own.
Thenceforth, Rotwang began to work tirelessly in his chosen academic path as an M.D./Ph.D. student, and due to his multifarious genetic gifts, he rose through the ranks up to the M4 stage rapidly and easily and then graduated to become a fully qualified and professional physician-scientist of the highest caliber by the time he hit his 30th birthday. Naturally, once again, he managed to graduate at the top of his class here as he had done in each of the previous stages of his academic career till that point in his academic career. Beyond that, the single most eventful thing that happened to him during this period was, of course, his encounters with the many rumors that had been floating about in the Shibuya ward of Tokyo regarding encounters that people had been having with mysterious “monsters”. This had allegedly occurred sometime around a certain Golden Week period that had gone by in the past.
However, these rumors were relayed to Rotwang by people who had experienced these encounters only from the perspective of spectators of a brief confrontation between these “monsters” or by those who had heard about these from others who had spectated them. The one fact that soon came to be of greatest interest to him about these rumors was that all these sightings and encounters had occurred coincidentally in the Shibuya ward’s “Scramble Crossing”. Consequently, he then became obsessed with studying said entities and finding out more about them, and this obsession of his soon proved to be one that would continue to remain with him lifelong.
Sometime after that, Rotwang ended up being introduced to the “Digital World” in all its glory and to the existence of these otherworldly “monsters” which he then came to know were ones called “Digimon” while being in the company of a pair of individuals who had already been veterans in their mutual experience with it. This served to open his life up to the many endless adventures and intriguing experiences that this brave new world promised to hold for him and show him in the times to come, whether that be for better or worse. The first of these experiences ended up being none other than his meeting with his destined digimon partners, one of whom was called “Warpmon” and the other of whom was his twin, “Steinmon”, and thus Rotwang became a DigiDestined as well.

Post-Digital World Intro Life to Present Day
Thus, from that point onward, this new aspect of Rotwang’s life as an active and newly chosen member of the DigiDestined populace began in earnest. Naturally, he could not have been more thrilled about this development despite knowing that there would surely be various dangers and risks that he would undoubtedly be exposed to whilst trying to dive headlong into this world and all the adventures that it promised to hold for him. So, as expected from this development in his life, he started to undertake many sojourns which took him from the Human World that he knew to this new and mysterious Digital World when he was not busy engaging in his various adventures and duties in the Human World.
Sometimes, these adventures would be undertaken in the company of others, and at other times, it was him with his twin digimon partners, “Warpmon” and “Steinmon”, being his sole source of both companionship and much more importantly, security from other digimon which could potentially be hostile or otherwise malicious towards him. Regardless of which of these two situations he always ended up in, however, it always ended up being true that each of his endless adventures in this new and unfamiliar realm kept on providing him with great joy and a vast wealth of knowledge of various types and form that he had never possessed access to before this.
Of course, this ceaseless influx of new and unfamiliar areas of expertise as well as the knowledge that these experiences Rotwang continued to have with the Digital World caused his obsession with his ongoing, ever-burgeoning, and multifarious mad science research studies to expand endlessly as well, leading to him applying the method of scientific inquiry to his exploration of this new frontier and its various aspects too (e.g., fauna, flora, environments, etc.). Naturally, this remained true whether he was doing so in the company of his twin digimon partners, “Warpmon” and “Steinmon”, or that of other unrelated digimon and humans alike from various walks of life.
That said, however, there was one problem that Rotwang soon found to be insurmountable and those were his all too human frailties, making these a rather irksome Achilles heel that would very often rear up to prevent him from truly plunging into the abyss of knowledge that was to be his ever-expanding experience with the Digital World and all the various contents therein, from the fauna to the flora to the environments and beyond. Therefore, he began to direct his ongoing, ever-burgeoning, and multifarious mad science research studies towards achieving the objective of permanently ridding himself of this obstacle to his progress with his personal goals regarding the Digital World and its contents, naturally, with his twin digimon partners, “Warpmon” and “Steinmon”, being his fully willing and highly competent assistants as they were in all other aspects of their permanent partnership with him.
Thus, this relentless search that Rotwang along with his twin partner digimon, “Warpmon” and “Steinmon”, undertook for various viable methods for the achievement of this objective began in earnest, and this took them all over the Digital World. For a long time, their efforts did not yield any results that, though interesting, were not promising at all. However, they did hit upon a breakthrough in this search of theirs recently, albeit only partly by design, but mostly by way of sheer serendipity alone and this was much to their mutual great chagrin. More specifically, this occurred one day when they had been exploring the secrets of the Fusion Loader that connected them with the idea of finding inspiration from its functionality for the development of a reliable method that they could then adapt to their shared objective of finally ridding him of his biggest Achilles Heel that was his fully powerless human existence.
This quasi-happy accident involved the unexpected merging of all three of them into one permanent form, leading to this form being the combined inhuman digimon body of his twin digimon partners, “Warpmon” and “Steinmon”, being infused with his still fully human mind which had retained all his former human memories and skills fully intact, in both form as well as degree and naturally, also gained full and free access to the usage of the digimon body's skills and powers in addition to his former memories and skills. That, in turn, then ended up making this new form of theirs a singular, seamless, and fully functional entity that would be not only human but also simultaneously greater than human. Finally, they all decided unanimously to christen it with the name, “Frankenmon”. From here, it remains to be seen what will happen next in their new life, but it is sure to be an interesting ride, at least for them.

Rotwang employs his code-hacking expertise to coalesce data from his environment and/or his own mutant body for creating makeshift objects to attack a chosen target, but he can also use this ability outside combat for utilitarian purposes. Medicosurgical Necromancy (COMBAT ACTIVE)
Rotwang employs his supernatural medicosurgical expertise alongside his mutant body’s innate ability to control bio-electricity to reanimate a zombie army to attack a chosen target, but he can also use this ability outside of combat for utilitarian purposes. Upon successful impact, this ability will always inflict high damage on the target and will afflict them with a 25% decrease in their Defense for the next 2 posts afterward. Hygīa likes to be forward-thinking but prefers to operate under the radar as far as possible since she is highly intolerant of any interference with her activities, except in certain situations or from certain individuals, namely Rotwang and her Xros army comrades. Additionally, Hygīa is always a dominant, highly self-confident, and objective-minded visionary who always has grandiose goals.
Thus, she prefers to spend much of her time pondering how to achieve those goals, but still, due to her innately introverted nature, she rarely if ever likes to tell anyone about said plans, except for Rotwang and the other members of their Xros army as well as any external allies, with this informing of external allies being on a need-to-know basis. Apart from that, Hygīa likes to be detail-oriented while also seeing the bigger picture of any given situation and how the various details fit into it.
Furthermore, like others of her kind, Hygīa always loves to immerse herself in whatever research project that she may have on her docket. However, she still never forgets to keep a close eye on Rotwang and her other Xros army comrades to ensure that they are all performing their respective tasks as optimally as the situation at hand allows them and that they are all always investing adequate time into their care to ensure that they are in as good a psychosomatic condition as possible.
Beyond that, she never likes to run away from a challenge unless it is too far beyond her capacity to provide a solution, and in trying to resolve said challenge or problem, she very often prefers to look for a solution that reaches above the original problem’s parameters. Apart from that, Hygīa is almost always unnervingly calm and often likes to have several equally efficient plans with several backups for each plan and even exit strategies if the situation goes south and even likes to modify each one to suit the situational flow.
Though Hygīa possesses all these strengths, she is also plagued by weaknesses. For instance, despite her preference for being highly logical and objective, she also has rare moments wherein she is surprisingly ditzy, regardless of the complexity inherent to her current task(s). Apart from that, despite her usually calm and cool-headed persona, she does have a predilection for panicking when the situational stress level crosses her absolute tolerance threshold for this stimulus, but she always seems to succumb to this panicking in a rather amusing way. Sōjōbō always prefers to be highly rational in word, thought, and deed and thus, he is never swayed by emotions of any degree and/or kind. Additionally, he also always prefers to be extremely calculating and pragmatic in how he interacts with others and with the world at large, meaning that he will almost always prefer to possess a concrete set of action plans that will bring great advantage to himself and his other Xros army allies as well as any external associates who may end up working with them.
Furthermore, Sōjōbō always prefers to be highly cautious whenever he happens to be encountering and dealing with the unknown and unfamiliar, whether this be entities, objects, or phenomena since he likes to ensure that unpredictable variables such as these will not interfere with his successful execution of the strategies and tactics that he may be devising at any time. Apart from that, he usually possesses a powerful streak of self-assured independence which means that he likes to be left free and able to resolve any problem(s) that may confront him and/or his allies. That said, he will still defer to the counsel of Rotwang and the other members of his Xros army when necessary.
This independent streak of Sōjōbō is supported by his equally deep-seated determination which causes him to prefer persevering toward his situational objective(s).
