With a stream of swirling data; someone landed atop the castle’s walls, crouched. Brightly colored except for the extremely pale face. A long tail coat of green and purple trailing behind him. Jokermon stood up, swirling his scythe as if it was nothing more than a baton.
“A truly auspicious day, indeed. Now we will see how the plan unfolds. Oh, it’s just so amusing,” Jokermon’s laugh rippled through the courtyard, causing the Troopmon to look up in surprise. They moved like robotic puppets, as they were programmed too. “Intruder! Intruder! Intruder detected!”
The Troopmon began to circle Jokermon and holding their hands up, blasters out. “Who are you?” Jokermon merely laughed again. “Lunatic Slash~~” These two words came out as nothing more than kind conversation. But with a flash of purple, three Troopmon fell and vanished. Their data swirling away into the air. “Does anyone else want to play? I have plenty more games for all of you...”
“Heh, you never do change,” a second voice said, jumping down to join Jokermon. The golden warrior who stood twice the height of the jester. Striped with black and an heir of menace. “Oohoo~ so the Ogrelord called in ALL of his troops then. How very amusing. Even the mightiest of heroes bent to his wims.”
“Ah, you know. Winnin’ side and all that, right?” TigerVespamon stroked his chin, taking in the clown. “Why else would I join? What would be in it for me.”
“Quite~” Jokermon said, grinning a devilish laugh. TigerVespamon turned to the Troopmon and said in a clear voice. “Don’t you know who this is, Trooper. This is Jokermon, and today is a very special day.
“Now you wastes of data, take us to your leader~~”
“Intruder...not an intruder. Plus TigerVespamon, 3rd Seat of Hexagon. Must deliver to meeting location. Please follow...”
Following the confusion, Jokermon and TigerVespamon were led by the remaining Troopmon into the castle and down a dark corridor. “Everyone is meeting here,” the Troopmon said, bowing his head. “I apologise for the… midunder…sir” His words were cut off by the look given by Jokermon.
“Unless you want to join your friends, I expect that you never forget it again.”
The Trooper nodded and turned away at a very fast pace. “Of course, we are all Team Titan through and through, right my little bumblebee?” Jokermon linked arms with TigerVespamon, smiling ever more wildly and devilishly.
“Oh, of course. Nothing else would disgust me more.”
--
The room that they were taken was already full of other Digimon of all shapes and sizes. Some that he knew, some that he didn’t. Some that he’d rather forget. Jokermon smiled catching sight of the Ogrekin, son of the Ogrelord. Although, his eyes fell to the stump of an arm in a sling.
“Oho… that’s the devil's work. I assume.” "Quite right."
Then, he caught sight of Ginkakumon, already slumping from side to side, drunk as a skunk. MadLeomon skulking in the distance like the monster it is. More Troopmon were wandering through the crowd holding trays with bottles of wine atop them. Passing out glasses to the guests as they all awaited their fate.

Eventually, once everyone was supplied with drinks. The “festivities” began or, rather, whatever this really was. The Ogrelord was a dangerous Digimon who you do not want to cross or fail. Doing so may lead you into a pit of doom so deep that it’d swallow you up in an instant. TigerVespamon pressed a finger to his chin as he considered this in a mocking fashion.
“Hey! Pay attention!” The line of Troopmon flanking the doors which led into the next chamber jumped into action. “The Ogrelord wishes to meet with each party, one at a time. You will wait here, until your name is called… Understood?”
There was a roar of ascent from the group gathered, but a flicker of worry was starting to emerge from the hearts of those gathered. Another roar of sound emerged at this, but it was soon extinguished once again as the Troopmon spoke once more. “The first chosen—will be the members of Hexagon.”
“Please follow me, Lord Gallantmon, 1st Seat; Dorbickmon, 2nd seat. TigerVespamon, 3rd Seat, Blastmon, 4th Seat and Lovely Angemon, 5th Seat…”
“Oh my, first up. Well, ain’t this just peachy,” The darling angel said, pushing past all the other digimon. “Ain’t no-one quite as lovely as lil’ ol me.”
“Yeah, yeah. Let’s go.” Blastmon said, head and shoulders taller than the rest of them. Accidentally knocking several Troopmon aside as he moved to the head of the party.
“Oh Blasty. You have all the poise and grace of a common garden stone...”
Dorbickmon adorned in armor like scarlet flames and Gallantmon, dressed in shimmering silver steel moved silently through the crowd. Although for these two, most people parted for them. Sensing the danger that is Gallantmon.
“I guess, that just leaves me,” TigerVespamon said, smirking at Jokermon and saluted to him. “If I see you on the other side.”
--
The doors opened slowly, revealing an ominous and swelling purple mist of darkness leaking out. “Ooh so dark and mysterious…don’t you just love it.” “Just go,” Dorbickmon said, pushing LovelyAngemon through with ease. “Let’s go already.” “…” “Til’ we meet again, my friends.”
The five warriors vanished behind the doors which sealed shut behind them with a great thunk. All light was quickly extinguished. A line of mist of darkness lingering at the base level of the stone floor.
--
They were being led down a dark corridor, lit with only dim, half-melted candles that floated in place. The dark mist was stronger here filling the space beneath their feet, almost completely. LovelyAngemon tried to bat it away but to no avail. Blastmon took up a majority of the corridor with his massive bulk, but the rest were able to stand centrally as the shadows grew deeper.
Eventually, they reached a rounded room which appeared to be a tower of some kind. There was no escapes at all. No windows, just stone bricks walls and swirling darkness. There was almost no light at all in the room beyond.
There was a crunch under their feet as they stepped further in to the room. Which turned out to be a bone of some long dead creature. Gallantmon, Dorbickmon and TigerVespamon remained silent, but LovelyAngemon couldn’t help but let out a low shriek and fell back into Blastmon who seemed equally unnerved.
--
“This place sure is scary, I wanna go home.” “I agree…”
The swell of darkness felt like a pressure wrapped around their necks, pulling them down into the blackness forever lost in its depths. Like it was wrapping around their legs and holding on tight ready to drag them down into the shadows.
"Is anyone here or not~ Hellooooo~"
--
“S I L E N C E”
It wasn’t spoke as much as it was roared. The simple sound of the voice had caused the stones around them to rattle and crumble under it's sheer volume. Distant and in shadows, a high back throne that was made of large, greyish bones. The figure on it was monumentally giant. An overwhelming figure hidden in the dark.
“I have called you here today, five warriors, who call yourself Hexagon. The mirrored heroes who pretend of be respectable and good. I have called you here bring you into our ranks completely and to offer my support to you...”
“Ogrelord, I openly accept an allegiance between us, but there is a one thing that separates us. Hexagon is mine.” Gallantmon spoke for the first time and his voice too was like a boom. The two seemed to be fighting without words, without arguments. A battle of wills. "That is all I wish."
“I see… that is what you wish, is it. I shall agree for now.”
“Is that all… my lord.” Gallantmon said, slowly. His eyes focused in on the shadowed face who was peering back with clear interest. The air between them was icy and the other members could only watch as these titans fought without weapons. Suddenly, the silence between the two snapped.
“No. I have found you a sixth member. He will join you shortly”
Gallantmon stepped forward so he stood ahead of his peers. His hand clasped around the hilt of his lance. His face was white, and cold. But his eyes continued to burn like living flames. His face stared up without blinking at the titan who sat before them.
“That is my duty. As I said, I run Hexagon, I will always control every part of it. I choose the members, what we do, who we are. Not you.”
“SILENCE. This is NON NEGOTIABLE. My plans require the alliance of that undersea world. This is what will happen. If you disagree, I will destroy you.” The Ogrelord raised a hand and pointed a finger at Gallantmon and to each of the members in turn. "I have given my word and my order."
It felt like a weight had been placed upon their backs, pushing them down to the floor. Blastmon had collapsed to his knees and LovelyAngemon crumpled against the cold flagstones. Dorbickmon and TigerVespamon had been pushed backwards. As the pressure grew, Gallantmon held up his shield, but felt his hand shake on the handle. Until all vanished and they were able to stand.
“That was your only warning. I will give no more. Now begone. But, remember to keep up the act for the commoners. Until the time is right. Are we understood, now. GOOOOO!”
---
“Well that was quick…” TigerVespamon said, stroking his chin in amusement. “I don’t know why he needed all five… oh, sorry… six of us for this.” His voice was cold but amused as he turned to Gallantmon. But the knight said nothing, merely barging past TigerVespamon and leaving without a single word.
“Fear,” Dorbickmon said to his comrades as he passed them to follow Gallantmon. Judging by the expression on LovelyAngemon and Blastmon's faces – he was correct.
"Well, this is interesting..."
