Hardly anyone who knew Moxie would classify him as dim. Much the opposite infact, he seems to be keenly aware of information that he gets and can incoorporate it with what he already knows. That being said, he was quite literally living under a rock until recently, so he had a lot of catching up to do academically. Thankfully, there was a place where he could do all the catching up that he needed to, that being the library. A massive compendium of books, filled with knowledge on any topic one could ever wish to know about. To someone who basically only had enough knowledge to eat, sleep, and go to the bathroom before the...incident, Moxie was elated that a place like this not only existed, but was free to use for the public. What he couldn't quite wrap his head around was why it was so deafeningly empty. He and Vem entered the large building, and nearly choked immediately as they were both met with a faceful of dust. Inside this library were scrawls of shelves which were filled with books, nearly all of which were covered in a veritable blanket of dust. For some, it was clear they may not have been touched since they were placed upon those shelves in the first place. It would've looked completely desolate, if not for the serpentine librarian resting his head on the reception desk as he slept.
The snake-like, brown digimon had various hooped markings stretching across his long body, which was coiled up into a ring. The word "HUB" was spelled across the top of the creature's head clearly within the patterns that adorned him. He wore rectangular spectacles, and tipping his tail was a port made for plugging in cables. Moxie and Vem walked up to the receptionist's desk, Moxie barely being able to peer his head over to get a good look at the receptionist's face. He'd lean up, tapping the table where the snake sat upon, dust residue sticking to his finger as he did so. "Uh,.hello there?" Moxie would ask in a sheepish tone. At this, the receptionist quickly sprung up, stiff as a board, which startled both Moxie and Vem enough for them to physically recoil back. "Wha- Huh!? Someone's here?!" The snake would look as startled as them, before peering down his gaze to Moxie's eyeline. "Oh...it's just some brats." The receptionist said, his expression dropping to one of disappointment. "Listen, before you ask, you're not around to play hide and seek or tag or have battles in here, okay?" Moxie tilted his head to the side, not knowing how the receptionist had gotten to this conclusion, but quickly putting together that he had thought he was here to mess around. "Uh, actually, we're here to study." Moxie said flatly. "You're here to read, i'm here to watch." Vem corrected. The receptionist looked stunned for a moment, stuttering out his next words. "Y-you're actually here to...learn???" Moxie didn't know quite how this digimon would respond so he just shoo his head affirmatively. A smile creeped onto the receptionists face, just wide enough to make both Moxie and Vem uncomfortable.
