Sure, it was worth it. The disgusting mouse finally revealed the information about T and his narcotic network. Ankh now dropped down the anger, and finally he got what he needed. However, he couldn't let his guard down. While Chuumon's information might be accurate, he still saw a potential backstab from him.
"A Den? You mean Hardware Den?" Ankh asked. "That's right! He's at Hardware Den! If you wanna see him, go there ASAP, as he'll be off with his lackeys as soon as they finished their business! He's known to not do a lengthy business, you know." Chuumon answered. "Alright. Now we can meet this T guy. Thanks."
As he heard the fat Palmon talking about tea and stuff, suddenly Ankh remembered about having tea with Pandamons back when Astamon and his regime reigned supreme. Having triggered a memory, Ankh began crying silently, and a tear dropped from his eye. He remembered how the family treated him friendly, until La Famiglia took their lives. He felt so many regret.
That's why he wanted to be stronger. To place a judgment to those who misused their powers. And he wanted to live forever so he could keep fighting against those corrupt beings, because as long as Digimons existed, those kind of corrupts also existed.
"A tea, huh..." Ankh whimpered. "The taste of tea... Is like how our heart is like... So you do read our feelings, huh." Ankh said to the Palmon. "Oh, so touchy..." Chuumon remarked.
"Anyways, who the hell are you?" Ankh asked the fat plant.

The fat Palmon crossed her arms, smirking a bit, although she did not pay attention to Ankh's single tear. In fact, she had no idea that her insistence on talking about Tea brought up memories for the human and Hawkmon. She wasn't a psychic, after all.
"Oh ho, your thoughts aren't a scribe I read. Observation and implication was the tool, no more than a normal being. Yes, yes, the fruitage of my talents lie in other matters.
Alas, I'm here, to repeat, to make moments of interest to myself, unsatisfied to deign myself to wait. By your side, but, say, you require of me a handle? I've been called many things, but 'Vetina' is by far the safest."
Vetina walked closer to the others with a confident, but not boisterous gait.
"But the nomenclature to refer to you guys, well... just a request to supply yours to me, a happenstance helper, no? And keep the plesantries short, Hardware Den's your spot to hunt, and now. If your introductions are pleasing my services as transport shall be earned."

Both Joseph and Chronomissimon and enjoyed knwing where to find T. They were both angry at knowing T gave them the wrong directions and that now they had to go to the hardware den.Joseph was even angrier when Ankh ignored his advise and began to chat with the palmon. At least he did one good thing after that: he asked the identification of the palmon. Still, Joseph didn`t care anymore.
"If you`re not coming anymore Ankh, then you can stay and chat with..." Joseph said and he looked a the palmon "... whoever you are. But I have no business with her, so I`ll be going. Come Chronomissimon."
The Chronomissimon bowed to Ankh. He wanted to avoid angrying the hawkmon too much. Afterall, the Chuumon did say he could go up to ultimate which ment he probably could toast them or soemthing if he tried.
"Goodbye great Ankh. I hope you find your needs suited." Chronomissimon said, before bowing again and turning to follow Joseph who had started walking away towards the direction of the Hardware Den. The group wanted nothing of problems and palmon who spoke in a way none of them understood was DEFINETLY one. Still, Minomon popped out of the bag leaving her head exposed and looking at the hawkmon and the palmon
"Bye. Bye!" she told the two, waving her tiny arm.

Ankh then heard he was about to be left by Joseph and his Digimons to Hardware Den. Of course, he was surprised that he was left along with Vetina. He wanted to meet this T guy too, as well as to try his strength. He wanted to defeat him. How strong T was, is what he had to find out.
"Wait, you dope!" Ankh gawked as he quickly catch up with Joseph and his partners.
Ankh then turned to the Palmon and told her, "I don't know what did you said, but if you wanna help us, go with us to kick T's T-backed butt! Understand?!"
The Hawkmon then quickly fly towards the group, assuming Vetina would tag along. As for Chuumon, he decided to stay there, and he asked the Palmon beforehand, "Okay. Would you like to have a tea and chat a bit, missie? Not now, but after taking care of that T guy."
The informant Rookie smiled, that Ankh and the others took the information seriously. He grinned in somewhat... twisted smirk with shady chuckle. "Heheheh... They took the bait." Chuumon murmured in slight chuckle.

And so, it seems like everyone was set to go. Ankh had invited Vetina to come along if she wanted to help (which was her stated intention in the first place), saying "Clarity from your end, yes. Onward!" She ran alongside the Hawkmon with a good foot speed for a Palmon. However, she briefly said to the mouse digimon, in response to his question, "Mayhaps should events drive to that point."
Of course, Vetina was unaware of the Chuumon's intentions. A shame, really. She'd love a nice cup of tea with someone.
In any case, she would not give her "allies" a ride. Even if they didn't understand her (she knew she spoke the way she spoke. But did they really not catch her name?), the others offered no introduction themselves. Oh well, unless these others had plans to offer transportation, she didn't mind walking for a while or not knowing their names.
Some distance behind the group was a female Flamedramon with long, white hair, facepalming as she watched Vetina leave. "Damn it, Vetina, I knew you were gonna run off again." she muttered to herself, now starting to give chase. "VETINAAAAA! WAIT UP!"

"Hey look, they're coming with us afterall!" Minomon yelled from the bag as she spotted both Ankh and whoever the other one was. Joseph stopped and turned, followed by Chronomissmon.
"Good." They said together.
"Glad to have you with us Ankh, but just a question, I just remembered." Chronomissimon said, noticing the chuumon didn't come "Are you sure your scourge is trustworthy enought fir us to follow the given directions? Me and my master kinda have some urgency to make our deals."
Meaningwhile Jospeh tried to reach a speaking form with the palmon.
"Ok. Let's try to get answers from you. Can you use a single word to answer?" Joseph inquired, hoping the answer was "yes" , not some complicated speech which ment "no". " So, tell me, and remember to answer with a single word please, what is your name? Do you know "T"?"
That's when Chronomissimon approached Joseph again, after hearing Ankh's reply.
"Should me and Minomon go..."switch" a ride for us, master?" the small flying digimon asked. Joseph just nodded before the Chronomissimon took flight towards the railroad, carrying Minomon. He hoped the palmon and Ankh didn't find out that his questions was if he should hack a trailmon to get them a ride.

When asked if Chuumon being trustworthy, Ankh simply scoffed in response. He then added, "Do you think I'm fool? Of course I don't believe him too much. Besides, he acts rather... odd."
The Hawkmon then looked back at the Chuumon before looking away, catching the shady impression from him. He had planned for something. Chuumon he knew was a slimy Digimon willing to give out information, while it was mostly accurate, he never bothered to tell the details. If it turned into a trap, Ankh had to remind them, especially their foes were the top mafia like T.
The Hawkmon looked at Joseph talking to the Palmon, Vetina. Though he barely understand what she said and remembered her name, Ankh should let her speak by herself in response to the boy's question. Ankh smirked, that this boy wasn't a regular boy after all. He could see the ambition and greed inside him. A desire to dominate, just like he had.
"Looks like this boy is more than I thought. It was a mistake to underestimate him. He's stronger than he looks, but I think his Digimons need more power." Ankh commented.
The Rookie bird then looked at Chronomissimon and Minomon set their attention to the railroad. He wondered if they were about to... Oh crap. He knew it.

How rude, Vetina thought, that this boy wanted Vetina to repeat herself in one word answers. She'll stand it just this once, but if she would have to continue to do so... she won't. Most anyone would not like to be forced to speak in single word sentences for a period of time, she thought. And so, she conceded to his demands.
"Indeed. Vetina. No.
She looked off to the side, looking a bit surprised to see Betty rushing over towards them. The Flamedramon performed her Flame Bash technique, surrounding herself in blue flames, to give her a bit of extra speed. When she made it, she caught her breath, and crossed her arms.
"Vetina if you aren't gonna take the search seriously and stay put I shouldn't either."
"Rarely I find complacency to loiter about. My lack of auric subtlety halting my direct involvement in locating that Terriermon leaves me to face innui. At least in consideration this world I remain in. Besides, Ghost and her friends offer a parallel search."
"Whatever. I'm gonna have to watch you now that I see you leaving. And I probably have to speak for you."
"Roads apparently lead there. Missing the opening, these guys, unable to grasp my intent of recieving suitable handles from them, desire to track some so and so title name 'T'. At least, I hope it's a title. And I'll acquiesce to my friendly interpreter, rescuing myself from... Mono. Verbal. Replies. Mayhaps it's the accent."
That last bit was said with sarcasm about her french accent, and Betty replied with her own friendly sarcasm before facing Jon. "Pfft, yeah... I'm sure that's it, hahaha. Anyway... what are everyone else's names, kid? Vetina would like to know them. I'm Betty, Vetina's friend, errand girl, and interpreter."

"No, great Ankh, I don't!" Chronomissimon lied, before departing to ask his question to Joseph and then taking Minomim with him.
Meaningwhile, Joseph was enjoying the success of his plan to be able to talk to the palmon, whose name seemed to be Vetina.
"Nice to meet you then, Vetina. It's shame that you don't have any information for us regarding "T", despite myself not believing that I would be able to retrieve it even if you did, but I hope that at least..." Joseph stated, before being interrupted by the arrival of a new digimon. Joseph lifted his digivice and scanned before she could introduce herlself, obtaining the information that this new digimon was a flamedramon. The flamedramon introduced herself as Bety and by claiming she was Vetina's friend, an errand and an interpreter.
"That's good because we could really use one when it comes to your friend here. I think we were kinda getting to an understanding here with the one word sentences, but that can only go so far when it comes to speaking. Anyway I'm Joseph, the two who just flied away are Chronomissimon and Minomon, my partners and the hawkmon is Ankh, our hum...temporary body guard, I believe?" Joseph explained.
Menaningwhile Chronomissimon and Minomim had arrived at a trailmon and were taking over the controls. Minomon decided to try to chat to pass time as they worked.
"So, Chronomissimon do you remember anything from your past life?" she asked.
"Nope." he simply replied.
"Ok."
Silence fell again.

When Chronomissimon said his excuses, Ankh just chuckled in sick amusement. Honestly, an idea to hijack a Trailmon was a good idea. They need a quick transport to get into Hardware Den fast. As Chuumon said, T didn't want to hold a business too long, and he would eventually leave without having a tea or coffee. So yeah, they were right. "I know what are you doing. Why do you bother to stop?" Ankh asked the projectile Digimon.
Ankh then watched Joseph conversing with Vetina, and looks like he had alternatives, to have her say ONLY one word per question. It would be less confusing, obviously. He could use the method for a bit it seemed.
Then, a female Flamedramon came and introducing herself as Vetina's friend. Ankh smiled as he heard her introducing herself as interpreter. it would save him from problems. "So you're interpreter, huh? I guess you can interpret your friend's vague words for us, do you not?" Ankh inquired. "Anyways, I'm just tag along with him to see how strong T is. Also, I'm smelling a trap laid around."
Speaking of trap, Chuumon just tried to hold his mad laughter, thinking it was funny thing to hear, but he didn't want to reveal his "schemes", so he had to keep it from himself to avoid suspicion. Though he was a bit worried, if Ankh, his friend (Or not) was getting hurt by the very schemen he made, which was unexpected to have his very friend and patron dragged into.

Betty nodded once Joseph introduced everyone to the two girls, with Vetina crossing her arms and looking away slightly when Ankh made his comment about her "Vague" words.
"My verbosity is not vague. It's inadvertently conditioned to be of violet metaphoricals. Mostly. Maybe non sequitors peppered in and..."
"Vetina is literally incapable of saying complex sentences without herself sounding more complex, so please forgive her in that regard. She's kinda nuts from a traumatic experience in her past."
Betty began to walk towards the other digimon, followed by Vetina. Apparently they were hacking a Trailmon, an act she would not completely agree to but, eh, it'll get them to where they need to be. The Palmon spoke softly to Betty, low enough that no one else would immediently hear her, but not low enough that anyone couldn't hear at all at some point.
"Why the concise apologetic origin?"
"As much as you'd like to figure that everyone else could just grasp the meaning of what you said, I know it's frustrating for you to talk with someone who has no idea what you're talking about, especially since you really cannot help it. At the very least I had to tell them... in normal speech... that you aren't just speaking that way for fun."
"Don't be my pity pal... but I grant a deep appreciation to your aid even if I risk a revealing aura of desolidification."
"...I do question how your brain makes these weird word choices."

"Well, I guess that explains it." Joseph commented after he heard the explanaition for why Vetina spoke the way she did. Joseph could feel a bit of Sympaphy towards the palmon, as he had been through quite a deal of trauma himself. Still, what happened happened, and unless Vetina could take revenge on whatever caused her trauma, Joseph couldn`t help. "I`m sorry then. Still, there`s little I can do about it, so let`s get to business." Joseph turned to where Chronomissimon and Minomon had flied to. "Where are those too. What could be taking this long? It`s not like they never did this before."
Meaningwhile, Chronomissimon and Minomon were almost done with the trailmon. Chatting was hard to get, as Minomon had quickly realised (again) if two digimon didn`t appreciate each other too much. They just didn`t know why, or at least Minomon had no idea why Chronomissimon despised her that way. Afterall, he was clearly Joseph`s favorite. Possibly because Minomon disagreed with Joseph`s revenge plan.
Chronomissimon on the other hand was really focused on his work. That Trailmon was hard work, as it seemed the desert trailmon were far stronger than the rest.

Ankh smirked with smug smile, that Chronomissimon and Minomon were about to hijack a Trailmon. Now all they need was a little time to have it in full control. So, he could sit back and watch the fireworks fly. It was only the matter of time, though.
"Good, now we can leave this to those runts." Ankh noted.
Ankh then turned to Vetina and Betty. He then glanced at the female Flamedramon. For some reason, she remembered him to a certain "idiot" he had met before...
"So, Betty, how long you've known that Palmon? It must be hard for you to interpret what she said." Ankh asked. "And the it must be hard for her as well, with those stress that pig's had. I don't care what happens in her brain, but I'm kinda tempted to give it a jolt once I get her into my home."
Ankh's home was actually an old laboratory, so it made sense that he could give Vetina's head a treatment or two, granted the remained laboratory equipment left behind, which Ankh sometimes needed to conduct some small experiment. Sure, he had a Mad Scientist streak with him, eh?

With the explanation to Vetina's speaking quirks given, that was that, and they all went off to do whatever they need to do. Vetina kept her arms crossed and looked off into the distance for the time, in thought about current events. If only because she still had to wait for the others to get the Trailmon started.
Meanwhile, Ankh had asked Betty about her relationship with the odd Palmon. It was a bit surprising to hear that question asked, but he was probably making conversation while waiting. Vetina looked back slightly over to them after his remarks on Vetina's weight and brain. But... whatever, she'll shut up for the moment.
"I've known Vetina for... I guess half a year. I was her merc and, well, the money was alright. But hang around her enough and you get used to her. Same goes for her talking, although I've generally always be able to figure out what she's saying. It's a matter of context and your ability to figure out metaphors. We "talk", she "barters words", ya know?
Baring times where she needs me around to talk for her, Vetina's used to it. And the fat jokes, although she's able to burn it off in 20 seconds. Literally 20 seconds. Maybe 30. Would starve her half to death, though."
"Even the water cooler percieves my topicalness, oh Miss Memoir?" she said, in response to Betty telling Ankh her business.
"Trust me, you are."

It was done. The trailmon had been suvcesfulky hacked and heading for Joseph, Ankh, betty and Vetina, guided by Minomon and Chronomissimon.
"It's about time. What happened?" Joseph commente as the trailmon arrived.
"I'm sorry master, the trailmons of the desert are harder to "switch" than the regular ones. Anyway please come aboard." Chronomissimon explained.
"Ok. Everyone, get into the trailmon if you're coming. We're heading for the hardware Den! Let's see if this "T" is worth the trouble or not." Joseph said as he got inside.
As everyone got in, Joseph examined the trailmon looking for anything usefull. He found little but a couple of pipes, a few coins and rocks and some supplies which should last for about two or three short meals if devided with Chronomissimon and Minomon alone.
"One day, DATS will be the one looking for scraps." Joseph promissed himself, whispering. Nomatter what or how they tried to hide, he knew they were responsible for his parent's amnesia. And they would pay for taking them away from him.
(OOC: moving the thread to the hardware den.)
