No matter when he went, Dorumon's nightmare seemed to have no end: that group of Digimon was managing to fill every hour, every minute and every second with pure agony, since he didn't know if they'd finally corner him, despite he was trying his best to escape from his pursuers. Still... his Rookie body couldn't take that amount of effort for extended periods of time. -"I don't want to fight them... I don't want to hurt anyone! I just want to live in peace!" -was the thought what filled his mind with every reluctant step he took.
After a few days of avoiding his seemingly unescapable fate, he finally reached a point where the snow began covering the ground. He had finally made it to the Desolate Tundra... now all he had to do was carry himself forward a little more, and it would all be over. If nobody wanted him near... then he'd just live alone, but live after all, without dreading his imminent death wherever he went.
However... unbeknownst to him, Leomon, Renamon and D'Arcmon were just letting him live. It was a delightful game for them, to bring end to one of the creatures that polluted their world while making the Dorumon suffer first. He'd feel death's cold breath behind his neck during his escape, and then, they would catch him and destroy his data so he'd never reform into a Digi-egg, thus getting rid of the threat once and for all.
After two more days, however, they grew tired of that little game. Dorumon was now facing a high cliff that he couldn't climb, so he'd have to keep advancing to the right or the left and hope there was some kind of path that allowed him to continue his escape. It was then when he heard footsteps behind him for the first time since he had left Terminus.
-Why... why did you follow me? Why won't you let me alone? Why?! Just give me a reason! -the Rookie said, tears filling his eyes once again. He knew his deletion was imminent, but if there truly wasn't a place for him in the Digital World... he would just accept it, and die. At least, the suffering would stop, and he wouldn't have to be scared anymore...
He was then surprised by the Leomon's Fist of the Beast King move, exploding on contact with his body and slamming him against the wall due to the sheer pressure of the move. However... this time, he didn't get up. With silent resignation, he just looked at them with sad eyes, hoping to discover a little, tiny bit of regret in their eyes. He would soon realize... there wasn't any.
-We told you. You're just something this world needs to get rid of. You're... you're not even a Digimon, scum! -the Renamon spat venom with each word, while the D'Arcmon just plainly took out her sword and pointed the tip to the Rookie. -This is the end. With fear and resignation, he finally closed his eyes, awaiting his fate. He didn't have the will to live anymore... that cruel world had managed to take it from him

He could hear the steel blade lifting above its head, ready to terminate his short life. Lowering his neck, a tear managed to escape his right eye, while the left one was containing them. Even if he didn't want to live anymore... it was so unfair. -Goodbye! -the D'Arcmon screamed, releasing the slash... which didn't hit Dorumon. Instead, a loud, metallic sound filled the surroundings of the cliff. When the small Rookie opened his eyes, fearing what could've happened... There was a Digimon standing between him and D'Arcmon-Are you okay?! -a deep voice greeted him, full of concern, as he dispatched the angelic Digimon, who flew backwards. Both Leomon and Renamon were looking at the defender, with a surprised gaze that also had fear written in it. -You... you are an... Ultimate! -they spoke, getting on guard. They were three on one... it was safe to assume they had chances to win. Because that Digimon was... a Grademon. Another of those X carriers. -Oh, no. I'm not alone, idiots -he said, whistling loud. Soon after, two more Digimon jumped from the cliff, facing the assailants. Dorumon looked up, amazed, as the two shadows dropped towards their position. One was humanoid, and had a sword and a cape, but was also beast-like in a appearence. The other shadow resembled a cuadrupedal creature with silver fur, wolf-like appearence and six metal spikes coming out of the sides of it's back. First, it Leomon X touched the ground, facing his normal counterpart. -Don't you have any pride?! How dare you, attacking a harmless child!! -it roared, frustrated at the other Digimon's attitude. Garurumon X followed suit, looking at Renamon while licking his snout. -I sure am unused to eating vixens... but let's see how you taste. How does that sound, Renamon? -he said with a mischievous, but serious voice. The Leomon then roared, and plunged forward into battle, with Renamon and D'Arcmon standing behind him. His X Antibody counterpart would soon imitate him, their swords clashing in a fierce duel. Garurumon began pouncing to the sides, surrounding Renamon and effectively attacking her from her back, for even her developed reflexes couldn't keep up with the cuadrupedal's speed and agility. In the meantime, Grademon faced D'Arcmon... with only one of his swords. In the angelic Digimon's eyes, it was clear that the Ultimate was mocking her, something unforgivable coming from one of those X-Antibody lowlives. -I will bring justice to all of you, and restore peace in this world! -she said, while doing her best to slay Grademon, who kept looking at her with a bored expression while parrying all her attacks. The moment those words escaped her mouth, the whole situation changed. -So, this is justice for you?! Justice is trying to kill someone who doesn't even want to fight? To rob other innocent Digimon of their right to live!? -Grademon furiously stated, looking at Dorumon with pity. -In that case... we won't hold back anymore!! -he shouted, drawing out his second sword and beggining his assault on the Angel type. Leomon X's sword became more and more decided with each attack, making his enemy back off until the point he lost balance... which he used to thrust the blade through his stomach. Garurumon X had it very easy. He just pounced again and used his sharp claws to swipe at the Renamon's head, effectively killing her, for she was ummobilized under his body. Finally, Grademon's slashes made D'Arcmon kneel before him in pain, dropping her sword. Pointing his Souken Gradalpha at her, he just muttered one word. -You're right. This is the end... for you.

-STOP!!!!! -a shout came from the little Rookie. Grademon's Souken Gradalpha stopped in the middle of his current attack, as the remaining Digimon turned their attention to Dorumon, who barely stood up. His body was completely exhausted, but still... he couldn't let that continue. -If you kill them... the only thing we'll get is more hatred! I... I don't want anyone to die... -he confessed, finally collapsing on the ground.
The Ultimate looked at D'Arcmon, clenching his teeth, but sheathed his blades, not very convinced of what he had done. Turning his back, he addressed his two comrades with a simple, direct order. -Take him to the village. He needs to rest, and if he stays out in the cold, he'll only end up deleted -the swordsman Digimon muttered, with the Leomon and Garurumon X nodding and grabbing Dorumon, effectively getting him out of the fray.
He then turned his head, looking behind him, and spoke to the angelic Digimon for the last time. -You make me sick. What you do isn't called justice. Now, get out of my sight, because I might end up killing you. Oh... and just so you remember. That X-Antibody Digimon you were pursuing saved your life. Never forget that -the Grademon finished, following the two Champions. The Holy Digimon then let out a scream as she punched the snow, frustrated.
The next thing Dorumon remembered was waking up in a warm, cozy house, with two Digimon giving him a meaningful, concerned look. As his eyes opened slowly, the two In-Training began jumping, happy that he was okay. -Ojii-chan, ojii-chan! Come fawst! He's owkay! -a Puroromon said, while a Koromon X (which was as a normal one, but with it's antennae forming the characteristic X and it's body coloured in a darker shade of pink) began bouncing around hastily, visibly nervous. As the Digimon managed to sit on the bed, he could discern the image of a different Digimon...
-Now, now... I hope you are okay... -the "ojii-chan" slowly said, sitting down with difficulties. Dorumon was very confused. -What... is going on? Where am I...? -he could only say, interrupted by a Tokomon X looking at him from a window and shouting a loud "I'll call Ryu-kun right away!". The Jijimon messed a little with his beard, then began explaining things to him.
-My, my... such an impacient attitude... you are in my village, of course. Three of my grandchildren found you in trouble, and brought you here. That's... about it, I guess -the Mega level said, while coughing heavily. It was clear that he was in a weakened condition. The door was then opened by three Digimon. Standing on the right, Gabumon X; on the left, an Elecmon X. His colour scheme was inverted, and the fur of it's tail was much longer. Finally, in the middle... a Ryudamon, looking at him with a big smile.
-You finally woke up! We were so worried about you! -it said, making the Dorumon even more stranged. -"They're happy... to see me?"

With each second that passed, Dorumon felt more and more confused. He then made the same questions to the Ryudamon and the other two Digimon that had entered the room, apart from a few more, of course. -Who... are you all? Why did you take me here? Also... why would you worry about me...? Most people say I should just go die inside a hole, or something... -the Digimon muttered, lowering his head. The Gabumon X spoke, unamused by his comment.
-Damn, don't tell me they managed to convince you that your existance is a bad thing! That's just a pile of bullshit, you know! -the beast Digimon told him, almost in an angry way, although that could've been due to his rough voice. The Elecmon X took a few steps forward, to where he was lying. He then attempted to stand on two, in a funny way, and fell backwards before muttering an "Ouch". -It's always much easier when I'm in my Leomon X form... -it said in a calm, slow voice.
-Huh...? You mean you are the guys that... -he began, but was then interrupted by the Ryudamon, chuckling. -The guys who saved you? Of course we are! Who else would we... oh, damn. I forgot you're not familiar with us in these forms like everyone else in the village is... -it began talking, with Dorumon looking at him in confusion.
The Gabumon X then smirked. -Heh, you're no fun. It's as if you're too shocked to say anything... c'mon, cheer up! We've found you, and you're alive! Isn't that what it counts...? -the X Antibody carrier exclaimed, still in a rough, albeit friendly voice. -Uh, sorry... it's just that it doesn't make any sense. What is this place? -Dorumon asked for the third time already.
The Ryudamon let out a tired sigh, but kept a half smile nonetheless. -I guess you're just going to keep saying that if we don't tell you right away... very well. You are in our village, which is in the middle of nowhere, really. Here, a ton of Digimon like us live without anyone trying to kill you just because of your existance -he bitterly stated with an obvious resent.
-You mean I...? -Yep. You hit Jackpot, boy. This is like a sanctuary for X-Antibody Digimon. Nobody else is allowed to enter, because of obvious reasons... except for Gramps -the Gabumon X interrupted him, then pointed towards the old Jijimon with a slight grin. -Exactly. He is one of the only Digimon that are against the hunts we're suffering... And was banished because of that. However, it was the best thing that could've ever happened to us: Jijimon took in most of us when we were just babies... and now, we've managed to Digivolve and be able to protect ourselves. We need to get stronger to survive, after all, don't we? -the Ryudamon explained, while the Elecmon X shot Dorumon a warm gaze.
-Let me summarize that in a short sentence... Welcome home, Dorumon. You don't have to run anymore -it calmly stated in a laid back personality. The Digimon then began sobbing, although he was trying his best to hold his tears. In the end, the pressure was just too strong, and his eyes became wet as the others patted his back. -You must've had it rough...
The Digimon then bursted completely, crying in an almost histerical, but very happy, way. They had no idea how it had been. Or maybe... they did have that same experience, and that was the reason that he felt safe for the first time in his life.

It took Dorumon a lot of time to calm down, his tears being of joy instead of sadness. The Digimon had just discovered an oasis, a sanctuary, a place he could finally call home without fearing anyone or anything. There, nobody wanted him dead. Instead, they wanted him to live, to live with them. One of the Fresh Digimon from the small settlement asked him what was wrong, if he was happy. The Rookie smiled, answering its question with pleasure. -It's just... I've been alone for so long that having someone near me that isn't afraid of me and is willing to let me live is just... overwhelming.
He then kept walking, with a plethora of Fresh and In-Training following Ryudamon, him, and the others. The Dragon Digimon asked him to bear with it, since it was always like that with new people, but Dorumon didn't mind the least. Looking at the place where he was now, he had to admit that the village was well thought. All of the houses were as white as the snow covering most of their roofs, so it was very easy to mistake it for a few frozen hills. The small valley it was located had enough water to go around, and provided some shelter from the wind, although not too much.
The Rookie also guessed that the steep cliff he had been cornered in before had to be somewhere near, so it was also secured from one of the sides... a good choice indeed. The Gabumon X however would soon conclude their little tour. -As you can see, it's not very big, but it's cozzy when you've been here long enough. Either way, you should get a little rest... your training begins tomorrow, after all.
The Dorumon quirked an eyebrow, stranged. What in the world was the Gabumon talking about? -Training? What do you mean by that? -the fox-like creature asked, the X-Antivirus carrier answering immediately after. -Yeah. Mostly everyone in the village is training, attempting to become stronger. It's the only way we'll manage to defend this place from Digimon like D'Arcmon. That's why we're preparing for a possible assault... and it also comes handy when rescuing a lost Digimon -it added, obviously referring to Dorumon.
The latter stood silent, with Elecmon looking at him again. -It's okay, don't worry about it for today. You'll have plenty of time tomorrow. As of now... go to sleep, please -it asked in a polite voice. Unsure of what to do, the Digimon did as intented, being guided by one of the In-Trainings. -"Hmmm... What's up with him...?" -the Ryudamon thought, looking at him as he was walking away.
The following day, Dorumon was picked up by the same trio, which he'd discover later, were the strongest fighters in the village. Both Elecmon X and Gabumon X were striving to reach their Ultimate stages, but Ryudamon had already achieved that power. Soon enough, he would've been selected for the next fighting round.
The Gabumon X stood in front of him, with Elecmon giving the signal. Immediately after, the former launched a Blue Fire blast from his mouth, but Dorumon managed to avoid it. As the fight ensued, something became clear. The newcomer wasn't attacking: it was just dodging all the strikes, until he found himself without any escape once again.
-You... are you mocking us? This is no way to become stronger, idiot! Don't you know what will happen if you get caught again by them?! -his opponent asked. As Gabumon was about to hit him, he closed his eyes and awaited the impact, in hopes of finishing it right away.
However, a strong voice called them out. -Hold it. I'll deal with him... let me take him with me. I'll try to drill some sense into this new Dorumon -the Ryudamon announced.

Dorumon was grabbed by the Ryudamon, who strongly gripped the purple fur and pulled towards the cliff near the village. After passing through a few dunes (if you can call snow piling up massively a dune, that is) they reached to the spot Ryudamon desired. There, he let the Rookie go, commanding him to look down. -You see that spot? This is where we found you, ready to die at those idiots' hands. Are you sure you want to keep being a weakling that can't fight...? Doesn't this whole crap make your blood boil, Dorumon? Can't you feel anger, impotence, and rage? -the dragon asked him, sitting down next to him.
To his surprise, Dorumon lowered his head, then spoke in a broken voice. -I... don't want to hurt anyone. They want to kill us because they are afraid of us, so if I fought back, they'd be right... That's why I want to just live in peace, and someday, fix this senseless slaughter. There has to be someone I can talk to, someone that understands the situation... That's what I believe. Plus... I don't like to fight. I've gotten beaten up lots of times, and I won't do the same to any of you -the Digimon stated, embarrassed, then spoke again.
-I'm weak... am I not? -he asked, with Ryudamon nodding. -Yes, you seem to be weak for fighting... but I've never seen any of the other X Antibodies, including myself, wanting to solve this senseless conflict in the way you stated... Your spirit hasn't been broken, and that honors you. Standing up for one's ideals is what makes people truly strong, you know? -Ryudamon said, looking at him with comprehension in his gaze.
-So, I think I know how we can work around this. You won't fight, but you can also help the village in other ways! For example, handling the children would be nice, since they are growing in number and Jiji needs help -the Ryudamon stated, with Dorumon gasping. -And what if they come again?
-In that case... I'll protect you. I'll protect everyone here. I'm the strongest in this town, because Jiji isn't what he used to be due to his age... don't worry. I'll never let anything bad happen to any of you. Plus, to be honest... I want to see where this dream of yours takes you! -the Ryudamon said, getting up and returning.
Dorumon looked at him with a surprised expression, but stood up and followed him, nonetheless. Afterwards, everything regarding his situation was explained, and thus, a new life begun for him, one that wasn't tainted by fear, pain or death, but a happy, cheerful life. Yes, the village wasn't that big, and the snowy plains weren't hospitable at all... but at least, nobody wanted him dead at that time.
...Or, perhaps, he was wrong?

Time passed by fast. It had only been six months, but the Digimon had already made a family out of everyone in the small settlement he had gratefully learned to call home. Ryudamon made sure the others understood that he didn't want to fight, and although he was regarded as a crybaby at first by the teasing Gabumon X, it finally ended up recognizing that he had grown fond of the purple fox-like creature. Dorumon was always there whenever he was needed, doing his best in his own way, adding a beacon of warmth in the cold Desolate Tundra.
He'd usually hang out with Ryudamon there, talking about how they were evolving in their respective fields. Dorumon always spoke about how the village could be improve by adding simple things, and the X-Antibody carrier proudly stated which of the kids was ready to reach the next level. At that time, the news couldn't be better.
-In fact, I'm beggining to feel that I should be able to reach the Mega form in a matter of weeks. Gabumon and Elecmon are also finally close to their Ultimate levels... when we are able to Digivolve again, the village will be much safer! -the Rookie said, with Dorumon gawking in awe. -What?! You mean it?! That's great, Ryudamon!!! -the purple Digimon spoke, standing up.
-You bet! I can't wait to find out what Digimon I'll turn into! Geez, I really hope it's something cool... -Ryudamon sighed. -Hahaha, you'll probably turn into MarineAngemon. What isn't cool about it? -he teased, earning himself a glare with a half-grin coming from his "older brother". During that time, they had become really close, despite the differences in their opinions about the state the X-Antibodies lived in.
It was then when, about to head back, they saw a pillar of smoke... coming from the direction of the village. -What? Has Jiji burnt the meat again? I hope not... last time everything went that full of smoke, it took ages to get rid of the smell! -the Digimon muttered, but then, Garurumon X pounced from one of the dunes next to them. It was panting heavily, and his right side was grazed. That was no ordinary domestical situation...
-Ryudamon... They've found us... Elecmon is...! -the Digimon said, with Dorumon gasping. Ryudamon's gaze darkened, and evolved into Grademon with burst of light. He then mounted on the Garurumon X, and looked at Dorumon. -Stay here. This isn't a spar... this is a real fight -it begun, but the Rookie negated with a tilt of his head. -No way! I've got to help you! -the Dorumon answered.
-As much as I hate saying this, he's right. Otherwise, they'll kill him either way... he can't fight on his own -the Champion said, to which Grademon couldn't disagree. Thus, they rushed to the village, with Grademon unsheathing his SoukenGradAlpha, ready for the battle that was about to ensue, one that would change one of them... forever.

The moment Dorumon saw the village, his expression froze for at least five seconds, before a terrified scream came from insside him out to the world. Blood. There was blood everywhere, deep shades of crimson that tainted the previously white snow. A few corpses that were slowly dissolving into data: his friends, no, his family. -What the hell happened here!!?? -the purple Digimon asked out loud, with Garurumon X growling in a menacing way. In front of them, there were angels. Many angels, in fact, surrounding something in a circle. A group of Angemon and Piddomon, with Nefertimons and Pegasusmons patrolling the heavens.
Once they broke their formation, something was revealed: a limp body that looked like a lion, its own sword driven through the stomach, pinning it to the ground. The kind Leomon X's gaze met Grademon's, who roared savagely, almost tossing Dorumon asside then moving forward, still on top of Garurumon X with killing intent filling their eyes. The Rookie stood there, not knowing what to do but to watch.
The angels spoke before charging at them, of course. They thought their actions were so pure and righteous that they were saving those Digimons insted of murdering them. -Thou sinful Digimon shall be purged as per our comamnder's instructions! May the heavens have mercy on thy souls as you reach the afterlife! -they said, with Grademon wildly swinging his swords, jumping from Garurumon X. Mid-air, he threw his right Souken, impaling a few of them, then spinning to hit another one with his left one before recovering the weapon.
The evolved form of Gabumon X didn't fall behind, but soon, one of the Angemon managed to hit him with a Heaven's Knuckle, making it fall to the ground, and then, a pair of those Pegasusmon and Nefertimon circling the area shot attacks to it, as the Ultimate and the Rookie watched in horror. -G...guh... -a last gutural sound came from the previously wounded Champion, who fell to the ground.
-YOU! HOW DARE YOU! I'M GOING TO DESTROY ALL OF YOU! -Grademon said, but then looked at Dorumon, who was already being targeted by some of the attacks, the opponents noticing his presence as well. With a grunt, Grademon jumped towards him, avoiding the angel's offensive on him, and drew a mystical circle with his two swords, creating a digital field that surrounded his friend.
Before the Digimon could ask, the Ultimate knocked him unconscious, and let him lying on the ground. -I'm sorry... but I'll have to do this alone. Even if I die... at least, let me put you to safety... -he muttered, then turned to the angel types. Standing up, he readied his weapons, and plunged into battle as the world turned dark to the Dorumon, who attempted to reach forward with his paw, to no avail.
-Ryu...damon...

Grademon saw Dorumon falling unconscious inside his protection circle. That gave him freedom to fight... to avenge his fallen companions. To return every inch of pain they had experimented to those damned angels that sought "justice" in murdering them. Even the babies, who didn't have any chance to live. What kind of world did they live in, where the existance of a Digimon got denied due to something that wasn't even true?! -Alright... bring it! -the swordsman Digimon said, plunging into battle, his SoukenGradAlpha on each hand. That was the last image the purple dragon's eyes would register before falling into darkness. -Gh...Ngh... -the Rookie muttered, opening his eyes with difficulty as he managed to barely stand up on four. He coughed a little, still affected and dizzy, and tilted his head upwards in order to discern his current situation. He had thought that he had experienced quite the livid nightmare... when his gaze stopped on a figure kneeling on the middle of the barren wasteland that had been his village. The Dorumon's eyes widened, reliving every moment. -Grademon!!! -tne Digimon said, running towards his friend, the energy circle having disappeared already, due to the Ultimate having spent every inch of his power battling that army. As he stopped nearby, the Dorumon let out a hysteric cry: his best friend and brother had been completely beaten to a bloody pump. His armor had been shredded and charred, his mantle had been destroyed, and two of the horns in his helmet were missing. However... the most important and distinctive feature was the fact that his right arm had been completely severed. -Oh, gosh, no... What did they do to you, Grademon?! -the creature said, trying to reach for the wounded with one of his paws. -It's... nothing... -he said, coughing up blood that began to dissolve into ones and zeros. -Listen... to me. I've managed to... defeat them. But there's no guarantee they won't come back... That's why we need to keep moving forward. There's another village in the Eastern Timberlands, hidden in the Mainframe Hills... we've got to go. I don't know if I'll be able to move, so... you'll have to carry me in my In-Training form... -Grademon spoke. (BGM: Maya no Tsuyoi Omoi) -Don't talk! Save your energy... you've done too much already. Don't worry, I'll do whatever it takes to get both of us there safely -Dorumon said, making Grademon smile. -Thank y... -he began, and suddenly... a light arrow pierced his chest, the tip shoving on the ground, next to the Rookie! The purple dragon's eyes widened yet again in shock as his brother coughed up blood, his body falling to the ground in a limp, yet conscious state. -G-GRADEMON! GRADEMON! -Dorumon called out, desperately. -Hehe... It looks like I'm... not going to make it... after all... -the creature began, but was interrupted by his friend, who held teary eyes. -Shut up! That's not true! We're both going to live together! You... can't leave me alone! You promised me, Ryudamon! The Grademon laughed as his body began dissolving from the bottom, his head tilted on the ground towards Dorumon. -That's what I've always liked about you... you may be weak, but your spirit is indeed strong. Now hush... I don't have much time... to say farewell.
Listen to me, Dorumon. During my life, I've always fought... fought to survive. Nobody wanted me to live, calling me a filthy monster... but I had you, all of you. I had already lost my hope on the world, but watching your determination... on saving our kind... without fighting... made me want to give it another chance. I only have one regret... that I wasn't able to live to see you fulfill that dream -he then coughed, and his voice became much fainter. -I can't speak loud anymore... So please... listen to what I have to say... because you are my legacy in this world! Jiji... Everyone... and you, Dorumon... Even if I'm so worthless... that I couldn't protect you... Even if I didn't stand up to anyone's expectations... Thank you... -his eyes then became watery, as he cried to his hearts content for the first time in ages. -...for loving me! -he completed. Dorumon began crying as well, although doing his best to hold his tears. His final comrade's expression changed... to a last smile, his final gift to the Digimon as his brother hugged him. Grademon's eyes hesitated for a few seconds, before his eyelids began to slowly close, losing consciousness. For a moment that seemed to last an eternity, Dorumon stood there, silent, but then couldn't hold it anymore, and screamed. -Ryudamon... why did you have to leave me too...! It's not fair... It's not f-fair, damnit! -the now lone Digimon managed to say between hics and tears. It was then when a piercing laughter echoed in the snow. -Hahahahaha! So, there's another village in the Mainframe Hills, full of sinful filths like you? Then don't worry... because the righteous Angewomon will purify them all! -the voice sounded, with Dorumon gawking, tilting his head upwards. He had heard those words before... it couldn't be!!!! -You... D-D'Arcmon... -he managed to say, consumed by the same fear he had experimented back when he was completely on his own. -Oh, please, don't fret. You'll be joining him soon enough... or at least, that's what I'd want to say. Today, you live, monster. Consider it as a way of thanking you for sparing my life back then when I was still a D'Arcmon. Now, go die somewhere else, because the next time we meet, my Holy Arrow will find a target in you -the angel Digimon said, flying away, and lamenting that she had lost such a capable army for a meaningless skirmish... or was it? It had become something personal, but finally, her revenge on the Digimon that had ridiculized her had been finally carried out.
Lying upwards on the snow, his right paw covering his eyes as he still cried next to Grademon's dissolving corpse, a change took place in the Digimon. He remembered that he had chosen not to train, because he didn't want to fight. -"I... I made the wrong choice...!" -the Digimon realized, looking at the starry sky. -"I... I wanted to trust in my friends' strength, and because of that... Everyone died...!" -his train of thoughts wouldn't just stop there. A new, dark feeling took place in his mind. Memories flashed in his mind, making it even more painful. -"If only I..." IF ONLY I HAD KILLED HER AT THE BEGGINING! -he screamed out.
