Things happened so fast. First, they were on a cavern-like place, then Ryouta tried fruitlessly to attack him, only to be encased in some kind of cage right afterwards.
"Ryouta-san!" she called with worry... she too was encased in the same kind of crytal prison. However, as that happened, a stream of data came out of her digivice as it shone with a pulsing green glow, words illuminating its screes with a short, yet decisive message; <EVOLUTION>.
Ayaka was enveloped with the light, her body morphing until it reached maturity. Cherrimmon emerged shortly after. She hated to admit it, but Dorumon seemed to be her strongest ally for the time being so she'll have to... tandem him. She sighed, but did just that. They have agreed on leaving their quarrels for another moment, and Mana had been just brought to another place, so whatever she and Dorumon had was secondary in its moment.
Right afterwards, with two quick movements, a light blue aura enveloped the body of the BlackRapidmon, granting the cyborg rabbit the benefits of her Remorseless Winter. She kept herself aware of whatever Groundramon could do, hoping that they'd be able to react accordingly to it.
Back on the cage, Mana, with a teary face struggled to get out of her prison. Why this guy had done this to her?
"Let me out!" she shouted as she tried vainly to break out "Why you have imprisoned me here?!".

Ayaka is using Remorseless Winter BlackRapidmon:
With two quick dance movements, the winter's essence is concentrated on an ally, greatly increasing its speed and power, and making the next attack they would make to be infused with the coldness of the harshest winter, slowing down the opponent's movements for its next post.
Tandem: Slowing effect last one post longer, and becomes more severe with each subsecuent application on the same target.

As the shadow Ryouta was angried and moved them all to a different environment, removing the force that was blocking them from standing up, UFADO jumped up. Yet it seemed a fight was about to break out, as Ryouta and Dracomon were imprisioned and Mana abducted. The Dracomon copy evolved to Groundramon, while Tatsuya evolved his partner to blackrapidmon and Ayaka somehow evolved without her partner and granted some form blessing to BlackRapidmon.
UFADO wasn't sure what he should do. Afterall, his body was far too imcomplte,he couldn't digivolve beyond rookie, except perhaps through his first armor evolution. If he tried to stand his ground against the Groundramon, he'd be wiped from the face of the digital world. Certainly, there was only one answer, one way he could do something while the other fought the Groundramon: He could try to set Ryouta and Dracomon free.
"Major Strike!" UFADO shouted, raising his right hand, which began to glow green. He then charged at the crystal prison that was holding Ryouta and his partner, hoping that the attack would break the prison. The chance was low that a single attack, especially a rookie one, would suffice to break them free, but if this one failed, then UFADO would keep trying until the prison broke or he was needed elsewhere. |

Why, you ask? Well... I have no idea. Maybe to spice it up a bit? To make you play the damsel in distress part? Heh... if it's just like that, then I'm doing it just for giggles, aren't I...? But the truth, you'll never know, at least not now. So, why don't you just enjoy the battle, little girl? I should play the bad guy part, anyway... and honestly, I don't mind doing it if that could prevent something that I had experienced.
The dark twin stared at the monitor, focused on the task on his hand. However, his expression shows that he's almost enjoying it, their attempt to try to get him to yield. On the corridor, strange things began to happen. Crystals jutting out from various places. However, as dull as they are...
Fake Gleam
A golden light quickly followed after, reflected by the crystal, making the room blinded with light. It's unclear where he is exactly, but his target is clear. Eliminate the one with greatest threat first.
Graviton Burst
The weakness of this kind of field is that generally the place to avoid is almost nil, leaving the fighters to defend themselves. Parry, attacking back, whatever it is, the big black ball of intense gravity is heading from the end of the light toward them. There's another rumbling sound, like the dragon has dug his hole yet again.
Breaking the crystal is impossible, but it's seem that it can be moved, very easily, too, because the crystal prison is essentially floating. Instead of breaking, it got pushed backward thanks to UFADO's strike.

BlackRapidmon scouted the terrain in search of any movement that revealed the presence of Groundramon beneath the soil of the cave. Still, the dragon was nowhere to be found... damn, that might be much more difficult than they had expected at first. At that moment, the dragon popped from the ground, using an attack that emited a bright light that would reveal him, but not without its consequences.
He then noticed an aura that envelopped his body, which suddenly felt much more powerful and light. The creature then gave Ayaka a meaningful look with his amber eyes as he concentrated on his target once again. Thanks to Ayaka's buff, the cyborg shot his Rapid Fire much faster than usual, allowing for a direct impact if the creature just dug instead of dodging.
As the two missiles were launched, the Digimon now faced a powerful gravitational sphere. The small cave didn't offer that much place to dodge, so the only chance was to try to destroy the sphere in order to preserve the advantage over their foe. BlackRapidmon shot five more missiles in a quick succession to the gravity core, hoping that the explosions would somehow destroy the nuke.
In the meantime, Tatsuya's eyes hovered over the cristal. It didn't break, of course, but it seemed that it was easy to move... To be honest, he didn't feel like using one of the encased people as a meatshield, but maybe the key to defeating that monster laid there, in front of their noses. Of course, that would only be attempted as a last resort plan, for the teen knew that, having the nummerical advantage, they would probably be able to defeat the creature.

Mana looked at this facet of Ryouta with a look of pure hatred, clearly disgusted by the development. As if to make the poor little girl feel even more helpless, now she was imprined like some kind of well... prisoner. To be totally frank, this just infuriated her; feeling helpless yet again...
"Agh!" She shouted with frustration as she began to smash the crystal with her closed hands "Let me out, you freak! I'm not a damsel in distress just because you want to play your sick game!"
She didn't care about anything else he said as she just wanted to help their friends; to help Ryouta in any way she could. Things as they were, the only thing that she was being was probably a worrisome thought in Ayaka's mind.
Speaking of her, she did her best to ignore Dorumon being... Dorumon. She did what she could to stay focused, and succeeded at it quite handily. Worries would be for another time, specially with a foe as strong as the one that they were facing.
Finding the ball of gravity running towards them and the previously mentioned digimon trying to shot it down for its spot, Ayaka just repeated the same actions she had done previously; it was their best bet for now.

UFADO was frustrated that he didn't know what to do. The crystal didn't seem to be breakable, yet he also couldn't go an fight the Groundramon head-on. The blinding lights and the digging sounds gave him another idea , another chance to make himself useful, despite his missing parts.
Sparks erupted from UFADO's body as it began to shine and turned into an insect-like machine, Searchmon, his armor form. Granted, the Groundmon was on the ground, so UFADO climbed over the crystal Ryouta and his partner were trapped on.
"BlackRapidmon! If you want me to, I can gibe you the location of Groundramon. I suspect he will attempt to escape, so once I find him, you'll need to be extremly fast in action. I will wait until you're ready." UFADO yelled at blackrapidmon. UFADO considered using his abilities to try to disable the crystal and the gravitational sphere, but unless those were eletrical or mechanical, the attack would simply be a waste. He'd have up try a different strategy, the one BlackRapudmon was using: blasting their way through obstacles."Volt Meteor!"
An large eletrical sphere appeared in his back, and was launched towards the gravitational sphere. Whatever happened, UFADO knew he wasn't being interilu useless, or at least he hoped so. He knew he was trying, but...Weren't also those he killed, or at least some, trying to be better? If so, why did he kill them and considered their efforts pointless? It was strange he was wondering about it at this point. He shook his head, he had to focus. |
