A Walk in the Park [Prophet/Hare] (Ask before joining)

Salla was walking in the park. She managed elude her brother for a while. Why was she there? Perhaps the owner of the necklace she wore would find her. Her phone beeped. It was an email from Nova. <"I'm at the library now, but I don't see you anywhere. Where did you go?"> it read. Salla chuckled. <"I'm at Hachiko Square now."> she typed. She sent it to Nova. She was satisfied when the reply came. <"Ugh... Be right there.">
She knew she was trolling, but she wanted some extra time to herself. She put her phone back in her bag. Then her pendant flashed.
She held it up to the sun, but decided it was a trick of the light. She went back to her walk. "Man, why did everything have to get so boring all of a sudden?" Salla complained. I guess it would've helped if she didn't take any accelerated courses in high school. "If Nova weren't so protective of me, everything would be a lot more fun." She sighed. "Maybe I should just go on ahead to college if I'm so bored," she decided. She looked around. There didn't seem to be very many people around.

Antonio was wondering why they came to this park so often... It was obvious that we was a great place to hang around and meet people and it was just quiet enough fir him to be able to let Henrique out.
This time, the mechanized dragon examined the trees, trying to remember their old biology classes.
"You know, we're on a quite troubled kind of "vacation", so I don't think we should be thinking about classes." Antonio stated, joking.
"If I don't do it, then I'll forget what they taught us there, and at this point I don't wanna forget anything. At all." Henrique explained, an almost offended look on his face, revealing that the digimon hadn't understood he was joking. Yet, Antonio got it. Henrique had no way to travel without being seen other than in Antonio's bag and that required Henrique to be in his in-training form, which in turn turned of his brain. That ment Henrique cherrished every moment he could with his brain online.
"Ok, ok, sorry go ahead. I'll just go get something to eat while I wait. You want something too?" Antonio asked, as his best friend examined the tree in front of him, drilling a hole to observe better, but without providing an answer.
Antonio went off, leaving Henrique alone with the trees. On a nearby mostly deserted café, Antio sat eating eating a sandwich as he saw a girl with a shining pendant talking to herself. So...shining stuff plus talking to herself? Could that mean digimon, or what he going obcessed with the digital creatures? Only one way to find out...
"Hi!" Antonio called the girl "You want to take a seat?" |

"Hm? Oh sure!" Salla answered. She walked over to the table and sat across from the boy. "My name's Salla, and you are?" she introduced herself. "I found this necklace here in the park one day, so I'm here hoping to find its owner," she told him as she held up the crescent pendant. It seemed like it could be made of gold, but it also seemed like a different metal entirely. She wasn't sure where it came from or if the owner was in Japan anymore. Actually, any information on it would be nice. "Maybe you could tell me something about it?" she asked.
Salla wasn't sure if the boy would tell her much if anything. He might even claim the necklace as his own. She was by herself, but that didn't mean she couldn't handle herself should something dangerous arise, which she doubted would happen. Then her phone rang. "Give me a sec," she told the boy as she got out her phone. "Hello?" she answered. "Are you really at Hachiko Square?" It was Nova. "Yes," Salla lied. A look of confusion appeared on her face. "Wait, how are you calling me without a cellphone?" she asked. "I'm using a payphone," Nova answered.
"They really still have those around?" Salla asked. "Yep," Nova answered. "I have to go. See ya later!" She told her brother. "Alright, bye," Nova replied. Salla hung up. "That was my brother. He thinks I'm at Hachiko Square," she explained to the boy.

Antonio smiled as the girl accepted his invitation and came sit with him. To be honest, it was simply boring to go eat without having someone to talk too, so it was nice when the girl broke whatever ice could be left and introduced herself as Salla.
"My name`s António. Please, makeyourself confortable." António replied to Salla. She then ased him about this weird pendant of hers, asking if he knew anything about it or it`s potential owner. She probaly wasn`t related to digimon then. A shame, as it cut many conversations short, due to Antonio being used to have his converstaion being centered around the misterious digital creatures "Sorry, I have no clue. But one doesn`t loose something like that without coming back for it, so maybe you should leave in the lost and found, if they have something like that around here."
The girl then had to pick the phone. It turned out to be her brother, who she had fooled into thinking she was in Hachiko square.
"Why are you trying to fool your..." António was asking when he remembered that he too tried to ilude his older brothers to get some space "Oh, you`re trying to get away from him? Get some space of your own? I get it. How does your brother look like, I`ll tell you if I see him around."
Meaningwhile, Henrique was attempting to become a little more found of that sticky thing that came from the trees. Indeed, getting trapped in a babie`s brain for almost twenty four hours a day was not good for him. Not good at all. |

Salla giggled when Antonio guessed it. "You hit the nail on the head. He's my twin, so he's got the same hair and eye color. He also has a scar over his right eye, so it's easy to recognize his face. He also wears a black and blue jacket," she explained. "One time I got him to run all over Shibuya without ever leaving my room. I'm thinking next I'll tell him that I took the bus home before letting him know I'm here," she told him. "It should give me more than enough-" She cut herself off when she noticed the pendant was giving of a faint glow.
She put her head in her left hand and held up the pendant with the right.
"Please tell me that this thing isn't really glowing and I'm just imagining it," she told Antonio. If it wasn't just her imagination, then maybe she didn't find it... Maybe it actually found her instead. As if to confirm that thought, something seemed to pull at the pendant. "I get the feeling that this is going to be a weird day," she sighed. I just hope it doesn't cause Nova to freak out, she thought

It seemed Antonio had got it right qhen the girl gigled, that bring altter confirmed by her words. Antonio listened carefully to Salla's description of her brother, an interesting one indeed. A scar on the eye? That shouldn't be too hard to recognise.
"Ok then, I'll just tell you if I see him around." Antonio told Salla. He saw the waiter looking at them, a bit of an angry look on his face. "Hm, do you want something to eat? I'd advise it, as I don't think we'll be allowed to stay here unless..."
Antonio was interrupted when Salla asked about why the pendant she was staring at was glowing. Antonio gave a look by himself, shifting his head to different angles. It definetly had nothing to do with sunlight so...
"Well, I actually don't know why, but I'm sorry to say that it is glowing. I do think I know someone who might know, but showing him to you, I mean, he doesn't like strangers a lot." Antonio replied, refering to Henrique, his digimon partner. He couldn't just about showing a digimon to random people, but then again, that pendant was intriging. "I know I'm gonna sound like a thief when I ask this, but would you mind if I took that with me to the guy and returned it to you tomorrow, here in mysahita park around this time?"
Meaningwhile, Henrique had been working on testing how fast certain plants burned, when compared to other kinds of plants and plant parts. He was glad to be having his share of experimenting today, without that being crawling around the floor drowling himself, however he was starting to wonder where Antonio was. |

"Well great..." Salla groaned when she learned she hadn't imagined it. Whatever was pulling at the pendant seemed to be pulling back it towards the park. "...And it looks like I won't be staying," she said as it seemed the pendant was pointing toward the park. Salla got up from her seat. "I'd give it to you, but it looks like whatever is causing it to act weird seems to be in the park, which happens to be where I found it in the first place... Unless of course it actually found me instead. Whatever it is, I'm going to go check it out. You can come along if you like," she told Antonio.
She then began walking in the direction the little crescent moon was pointing. "I have a feeling things are about to get weirder and weirder. All I can say is that I'm glad my brother isn't here right now. If he were here, he'd be freaking out," she stated. As she got closer, the pendant began to point slightly downward, right until she came to a random bush, which seemed to be what the pendant was pointing at. "Now why could it be pointing at a bush?" she wondered aloud.
She dug through the bush until she spotted some gray device and a blue and white one.
She picked them both up, but directed her attention to the smaller of the two. "What is this? Some kind of virtual pet?"

Upon further inspection the pendant seemed to be pulling towards the park, which Antonio noticed upon Salla's statement of that fact. This only made the pendant more curious and weirder. Salla decided she'd follow the pendant's indications and invited Antonio to come. The boy turned and saw the angry expression on the café owner growing. This made up his mind.
Antonio left the payment on the table and left after Salla. The pendant took them to some bushes and Salla took out two devices. Antonio's eyed widened as he recognised the two objects. A small smile grew in his face and laugthed when she asked if was a virtual pet.
"Well I guess we can say you're gonna get one, but not yet. I don't even need my expert anymore, that that you're holding is a digivice and a D-Terminal. Looks like you're about to become a tamer too. But before I explain, is that pendant poiting at anywhere else?" Antonio asked Salla. " And just so you know, we'll be looking for a sort of colored egg. Big and colorful usually. Sometimes they even have patterns." |

Salla returned her attention when Antonio laughed. Then when he asked if the pendant pointed at anything else, she noticed it had stopped glowing completely after picking up the D-Terminal and Digivice. "No, it doesn't look like it," she answered. "As for the egg, will it look like some sort of large Easter Egg?" she asked. "If it weren't for how weird today is getting, I probably wouldn't believe you at all," she told him. Her phone then beeped. She put the D-terminal in her bag and checked her phone to see she got a text message.
Salla began typing away at her phone. <"I took the bus home. You worry too much. ;P"> She then proceeded to send the reply. <"Fine, let's get this prank over with."> came Nova's reply. Salla chuckled. "And that buys me plenty of time. He also think's it's a prank now. Feel free to explain away," she told Antonio as she put her phone away and began fiddling with the Digivice. "I guess you can start with what comes from the egg?" she questioned. She the though for a brief moment. "Also, who was that expert you mentioned anyway?" she continued.

"Yeah a but like a Easter egg, except it's a bit...bigger." Antonio replied to Salla. After a text message (probably from her brother) she inquired about what came from the egg and who his expert was. It was time he showed her Henrique. It couldn't harm, could it? "Ok, then I guess if you have a digivice, then there shouldn't be any problem. I don't know how you deal with certain things, but please try not to scream, run or essentially do anything else that can get someone's attention. Follow me."
Antonio headed to where he left Henrique, expecting the guy to have climbed a tree or something of that sort, yet when he got there, Antonio saw Henrique trying to put out three burning pipes of something. Immediatly he rushed towards the fires, trying to help the tooldramon put them out. When they finnaly succeeded, Antonio took a deep breath and looked at Salla.
"This is my expert and my digimon partner, Henrique." Antonio said, pointing at the tooldramon "He's one of the things that hatches from those eggs I told you of."
"Thanks for reminding me." Henrique complained.
"Stop complaining. I'm gonna need an explanation on those fires later." Antonio stated. He turned back to Salla and showed her his digivice. |

Salla was puzzled when Antonio essentially told her not to attract attention. "Right, don't draw any attention," Salla muttered as she began following Antonio. "Oh boy," she said when she saw the Digimon putting out the flames. "You know, I have to wonder how a fire doesn't draw attention," she stated. She would've reacted more toward the Digimon if the fire didn't prove more urgent.That being said, she helped put out the fire. "So do all Digimon look like this, or are there different ones?" Salla asked after learning the name of Antonio's Digimon.
It did kinda help that Henrique was shorter than her. She had some knowledge of Pokemon too, and since Digimon also ended with "mon", maybe there were many different types of Digimon. Either way, she couldn't help but feel a little silly for asking that question. "Also, what does the D-Terminal do?" that was another question that needed an answer, however she wasn't sure which of the two devices was the Digivice, and which was the D-Terminal. The answer to that question might be able to tell her which was what.
However, she was worried about how she was going to hide the egg from her brother once she managed to find it, let alone the thing that hatched from it..

It was a regular day. He and Kuramon watched the clouds. When somebody passed Kuramon would act like a plushie so it was ok for him to he out. Well at least for now. What would happen if he digivolve. It would spell bad news. Then the smell of smoke filled the air and Coniko was draw to a female and a male sitting. He saw that they put out the fire. And then he saw a Digimon. A very interesting looking Digimon.
Coniko wanted more info on digimon. But he didn't know how to go about it. So for now he would just hide and listen in on their conversation. But looking at how that Digimon looked it looked he and Kuramon would get squashed like bugs. So the best course of action was to befriend them. Coniko train of thought stopped suddenly when he realized he was starting to think like his other self.
He shook he head an decided to get as much info as he could out of them and if possible befriend them. He wanted to avoid fights as much as possible. So he put Kuramon and his head and put his hands in his pocket. He then walked up to the two.
Yo. Thats a Digimon right?
Coniko said while pointing at the dragon. He looked quite dangerous Coniko thought. It was weird but Coniko wanted to fight that dragon but not now. He wasn't worthy of the title knight who beat the dragon. Because at this point it would be a slaughter festival.
The wind blew waving Coniko's hair like a scene in a movie. But the moment wasn't like one. To Coniko it seemed a bit awkward. He wasn't a fan of awkward situations. He tried to avoid them as much as possible.

Even Salla helped put out the fires, making Antonio very uncomfortable. Her statement on the attention that fires could draw, made him feel even worse, wondering why Henrique do such a thing. It seemed wrong, it seemed strange that Henrique would do such a stupid mistake.He gave Henrique an angry look, making Henrique cover himself with his arms, like if he expected a hit or something. Antonio calmed down a bit and turned to Salla, making a smile to disguise his disturbance.
"Yeah, there are hundreds of different digimon, as far as I've seen and I'd bet I haven't seen a fifth of them yet." Antonio explained to answer Salla's question " And as for the D-Terminal, I'm not sure, I haven't got one myself, but I think it works as sort of email machine that only works with other D-Terminals."
That's when a new arrival appeared. This one had a digimon and Antonio scanned it. It was a Kuramon, a fresh digimon. That usually ment the guy was new at it, in fact Henrique only had been in that stage for a few hours. Plus Henrique's fresh was a Kuramon as well.
"Hi! How are you doing?" Henrique greeted "Yeah, I'm a digimon. I'm sorry with all this mess, I completly forgot. Who are you people?" |

Salla's comparison to a TV series was right it seemed, however, she already knew she couldn't compare everything. At least she now knew that they came in different shapes and sizes. This was proven when a new guy, probably attracted to the smoke, and his much smaller Digimon. If they can be that much smaller, then how big do they get? she wondered. Clearly she wouldn't stand the slightest chance against one bigger than Henrique without one of her own. "And the oddness gets odder," she muttered. in the back of her mind, she wonder how things could possily get even weider.
"I'm Salla. As you might've overheard, I'm pretty new. As a matter of fact, I don't even have a Digimon quite yet," she said. The Digivice beeped in her hand not too long after she said this. It displayed some sort of radar. There were five dots in the center, and a sixth pulsing one in the distance. After a few moments, the pulsing one faded. That's weird, it was picking up some sort of signal... but now it just vanished, she thought. "Is it normal to suddenly pick up a signal just to lose it a few minutes afterwards?" she asked.

"I had no idea. But has this been happening often?"
Coniko grabbed Kuramon from his head and put him in his arms. Keramon then started moving. Coniko guessed he wanted to meet the new digimon. So he set Kuramon on the table and awaited. The guy.
Coniko didn't want to meet the guys Digimon but if Kuramon did then he would let him. But if Coniko sees hostility he is probably going to punt it away. He didn't like hurting Digimon but he let Kuramon deal with other Digi's
That was a rule for Coniko. So when Kuramon Digivolve in rookie stage. He can fight for real. And not have to only fight freahlings. Well it wasn't in Coniko place to call them a freshling seeing how Coniko could only go to in-training stage.
