The Trailmon screeched to a stop and the doors opened. Wasting no time, Nova and Sparks immediately stood up.Along with Yuu, they exited the Trailmon. The Trailmon appeared to be boarding for White Water City now. "Sparks, can you tell where Kyo is?" Nova asked. "No, there's too many EM fields to pinpoint her from this distance. Yuu will have to lead the way until we get close," Sparks answered. A small white Digimon peeked at the trio from the cover of a tree. "Once you find Kyo's Digiegg, I want you to promise me that two of you will get so strong that nobody can take Kyo away from you again," Sparks told Yuu.
The village looked exactly how it idd last time. Buildings shaped like toys, bushes that seemed to grow Digieggs, and an abundance of trees and Digimon. They seem interesting, so I'll follow them, the small Digimon decided. It jumped out of the tree and took flight as it followed the Tamer, the General, and his Digimon. "Hopefully we won't have much trouble. I'd hate for something to go wrong again," Nova stated. "Now don't jinx us," Sparks chided. "I thought you didn't believe in superstitions," Nova pointed out.

As Yuu exited the Trailmon, the look of excitement was clearly visible on his face. He scanned his new enviroment while the Trailmon was boarding again, and the sight was pretty marvelous... and weird, to say the least. The entire place seemed to be out of a fantasy novel, and resembled a toddler's playground, excepting the fact that it's ground was also littered by small eggs and cribs that hosted a plethora of infant digimon. On a stroke of bad luck, Sparks couldn't track Kyo's egg due to some electromagnetic fields yet, so they have to use their their ingenuity and wits for now; and Yuu's digivice, of course.
He nodded at Spark's words, but felt a little angered by them; of course that he'd try his best to not to lose his partner again, and the mere fact that he was one of the beings he saw as the responsibles for her death didn't help. At all. While the pair had a little chit-chat about superstitions, he just decided to look at his D-3's screen, and began to walk in that direction on a rather hurriedly way. He has waited enough, and this time, finding her partner's egg quickly depended only on him, so he'd try to make it as fast as possible.

Sparks and Nova quickened their pace to match Yuu's. A smaller bespeckled version of the white Digimon flew next to him. "What are you up to, Pit?" she whispered. "These guys seem interesting, so I'm following them, Lucy," Pit whispered back. Lucy rolled her eyes. "I don't," Sparks replied. "Then why did you tell me not to jinx it?" Nova asked. "Because ever since I've met you, my opponents have been consisting of Digimon from the Champion level or higher," Sparks answered.
"And you think me asking or saying thing like 'what could possibly go wrong?' will make bad things happen?" Nova asked. "I wouldn't it put it pass you," Sparks answered. Nova rolled his eyes. "Real interesting, Pit," Lucy quietly and sarcastically remarked. Now was Pit's turn to roll his eyes. "I'd help them, but the guy not speaking seems to have it covered," Pit whispered to Lucy. Along the way, they passed a slightly pudgy white Digimon that was doing pushups that Nova hadn't bothered to scan, and he looked like the other two.
He looked at Lucy and Pit curiously and began jogging behind. Lucy flew down by the other Digimon. "What are you guys doing?" he whispered. "We don't know yet, Icarus," Lucy whispered back.

As Yuu continued to walk towards the direction in which Kyo's egg was supposed to be, he didn't really pay attention to Nova and Spark's chit chat, but still got something like the gist of it; apparently Sparks wasn't superstitious, and when Nova asked about it, he just answered that their luck had been tough at best, and that every digimon that had antagonized them thus far had been champion level or higher. They kept talking for a good deal of time about "jinxing it", but as it just seemed to be a bit repetitive, he just decided to stop hearing them altogether.
If they have been only facing opponents of higher levels than them, there were some outs for them; they actually had a really great amount of luck, or they had help, or they were just really quick on their feet and had gotten an overall cheap deal. He entertained his mind with those possibilities as he quickened his steps even more. He just wanted to find Kyo in this precise instant, but the dot on his digivice seemed to be nearing on a just too slowly fashion. He wondered how much time was left til they reached there as he trailed the signal.

Vetina had spent more time here than she would have imagined. She initially came here and expected to leave just as quickly, but ended up staying after meeting some other humans and digimon. She was done reminiscing over the past, though, and merely just hung out here. She had no plans for her immedient future, so right now, just concentrate on the moment.
From her tree perch, she leapt from it, landing on the ground. She was still in her Ranamon form, half hoping it would rain again, but she was pretty sure it would not. She was a but bored, but not oppressively so. A nice walk around would be nice.
Her walk had her pass by various baby digimon, which prompted little more than a passing glance from Vetina. Perhaps she should go check on Beverly. She never did visit that club she owned.
She also glanced over again, spotting not only more digimon, but humans as well. She thought to herself out loud, "Huh, to take from this that humans trek here as consistent happenstance? Seems queer, but I've stood to be colored incorrect before.
Oh, pay no heed to me, I'd assume our crossing strays from little more than what our paths do. "

When the Ranamon, as his Digivice told him, told them to pay no heed, he shrugged and continued after Yuu and Sparks, who seemed equally oblivious to their followers as Nova. "At least you don't have a ton of homework to do when you get home," Nova pointed out. "At least you know where your home is," Sparks pointed out. Ouch. Okay... this is getting less friendly, Pit thought. He then flew in between Nova and Sparks. "Okay you two, stop fighting! You're friends, right?" he pointed out. "Are you kidding? We barely know each other," Nova and Sparks replied simultaneously.
"Oh yeah? Then why are you in such perfect sync?" Pit asked. "I blame Aeroveedramon," Nova stated. "Funny, because I blame you," Sparks told him. "You know what? I blame you for saving me when we first met," Nova replied. "Fine. I blame Alphamon for dragging you into this world," Sparks shot back. "Um... Shouldn't you be doing something?" Pit asked. "He's right, let's just focus on finding Kyo," Sparks decided. "Hey, how'd you know that we were supposed to be doing something?" Nova asked. Pit scratched the back of his and smiled nervously. "Lucky guess?" Pit tried.
"Pit! Get over here!" a voice called. "Coming!~" Pit answered as he flew off in the direction of the voice. "...And the oddness gets odder," Nova stated after scanning the Kyupimon.

On their way, more strange stuff kept happening. First, a strange digimon that didn't seem to be from here was just thinking out loud. While it piqued Yuu's curiosity due to her strange way of speaking, he was just too determined to get to Kyo's egg as fast as he could, so he just kept walking, not really minding her. Second, Nova and Spark's argument started to heat up, but not overly so; despite of that, a Kyupimon, just like Karin's (but a male one, at least due to his voice) flew just between them, and tried to calm them down to no avail. So much for a digimon and his partner, the boy thought.
The Kyupimon kept struggling, but both Nova and Spark vehemently denied that they were something like a team of sorts or something like that. Surprisingly, the mini angel ended the argument by giving knowledge about them that he shouldn't know; or well, that he should if he had been hearing them for a little while, but got recalled back by a similar voice before the situation turned even more awkward.
Yuu couldn't but wonder how much distance they had to cover until he found Kyo's egg. Wait, the dot was now actually moving on his screen; that meant that they were beginning to close! Without warning, he began to sprint in that way. She was so close... Yuu could almost sense his partner's presence.

As the other passed her, she stopped and looked at the group. They seemed determined to get something... perhaps a newborn digimon? That one kid looked super focused and quiet. Perhaps it was hid digimon that perished? Her theory seemed to make more sense once she saw him suddenly run.
But in the end it was pure hypothesis.
But if that was the case would the digimon still remember him? If Vetina was in a similar position and the digimon didn't remember her... it would be depressing. She would hate to have Betty go through that, and she was like a sister to Vetina. It was excessively hard to find digimon who could stand Vetina for long periods of time...

Sparkmon's eyes widened. "We're getting close," He said about the same time Yuu started sprinting. He ran right after Yuu. "That's good. If we're almost there, that lowers the chances of things going wrong," Nova stated as he hurried after them. Icarus followed behind while Lucy landed. She adjusted her glasses, causing them to glint in the sunlight. "At the rate they're going, It should take them no longer than ten seconds to get where they are headed," Lucy stated as she watched the four run off. After a moment, she realized something.
"If I'm correct, they happen to be headed in my sister's direction as well," she added. I wonder what Angie is up to that requires Pit, she thought. "If Yuu could speak, I'd just carry him there so we'd get there even faster," Sparks stated. "But he can't, so he can't guide you?" Nova guessed. "Bingo," Sparks answered. Nova sighed. "That sucks. Stupid bus crash," he muttered. "It would also help if I could Digivolve so I could carry both of you, but I can't even remember how," Sparks pointed out. A Kyupimon was walking through the Digieggs. So many of these Digimon are lucky to get human partners. I only wish I had one, she thought. There was one Digiegg that caught her eye.

As Yuu ran, his digivice began to make to make a trilling sound that became more louder and more frequent the more he closed on the red dot's location his digivice was signaling. Emotions swirled inside him; anxiety because he wanted to find Kyo in this precise instant. Fear, as he thought about the possibility of her forgetting him and everything they had lived. Anger, as he remembered all the events that had lead to her deletion, and how he had vowed to himself that he'd avenge her death and the greatest of all, happiness, because he didn't care about what the future could bring as long as he was reunited with his partner; his precious Kyo.
As Yuu closed into the location, he began to examine each one of the nearby egg's patterns, in hopes that he'd identify the one. His eyes rapidly scanned through the dozens that were in front of him, but suddenly stopped at a clean white egg with purple slash-like patterns. He didn't knew why, but he just knew that inside that egg was his partner. He immediately went to where it was, totally ignoring the Kyupimon that was walking alongside it and the other eggs and picked it up, holding it gingerly in his arms. With supreme care, Yuu hugged the egg as tears began descending from his cheeks.
As he basked on the blissful sensation of finally being reunited with his partner, his whole world became only him and Kyo's egg for those instants. Finally they were reunited.

Nova and Sparks came to a stop. "Is that the one?" Nova asked. Sparks nodded. "The EM field is identical. Looks like this is easier than I thought it would be," Sparks stated. The Kyupimon stood idly by. "If you want, I can cook you and Kyo a meal once we find a kitchen," Nova offered. "You know you don't have to be so nice to them," Sparks pointed out. A bored expression etched itself across Nova's face. "Do I look like I care?" he asked. "...No," Sparks answered. Nova smirked. "That's what I thought," he stated. He could feel some guilt emanating from Sparks.
There was a mischievous glint in Nova's eyes. He promptly stomped on Sparkmon's tail. "YEEOW!" Sparks shouted. "Say it..." Nova told him. "Fine, I'm sorry for calling you a jerk earlier," Sparks told Yuu. "Even if you won't forgive that..." he muttered under his breath. "Now don't you feel better after getting that off your chest?" Nova asked as he took his foot off Sparkmon's tail. He hated to admit it, but it did make him feel a little better. The Kyupimon only stared at what took place before her. I'm beginning to rethink that wish, she thought.

Still ignoring everyone and everything around him, after a good minute of hugging the egg and crying on it, Yuu decided to that it was the time. He would hatch it, and at least see if the digimon inside was the Kyo she remembered or not. Separating his chest from the egg, he began to rub it gently, awaiting for the inevitable moment. After some rubbing, the egg began shaking, and hairline cracks began to appear on its surface, as those began to grew bigger and bigger. When they were big enough, a somewhat loud cracking sound could be heard, and from the egg's now opened insides, a curious and big orange eye looked at him.
Wait... Zurumon had red eyes, and they were way smaller than those. Yuu peeked again, and inside the egg there wasn't the Kyo that he remembered, but a jellyfish-esque digimon that looked at him, yet... in her expression, he recognized his previous partner. And it didn't help that she jumped out of her egg directly into his shoulder. It was strange, really strange, but at the same time so familiar... So right. His hands went to his shoulders as he picked the tiny Kuramon and began rubbing her head gently. He felt just so happy that nothing else mattered. Well, at least until Nova spoke. Kyo glared at him with her only eye, as if she were angry with him, but as of now, didn't do much else, except bask in the warm sensation of Yuu's arms.
<Thank you, Nova> was the only thing that the boy's trembling fingers could write on his D-Terminal. He was going through so much right now to write complex messages, but he'll respond to his questions later, he guessed.

"It was my pleasure," Nova replied. He and Sparks smile warmly. Nova almost looked like he might've been on the verge of tears. "You know, it's okay to cry if you want," Sparks told Nova. "Oh shut up," Nova said as he playfully shoved Sparkmon's shoulder. Nova's smile soon faded as he realized something. "Isn't this the part where things usually go wrong?" he asked. Sparks frowned at this.
*Boom!*
Nova and Sparks looked over in time to see lightning striking the ground in the distance. "Well whatever that was, I'm glad it wasn't here," Sparks stated. Icarus and the other Kyupimon seemed worried. "Sparks and I are going to go check it out, you two stay safe," Nova told Yuu and Kyo. Lucy had a worried expression on her face as she realized Pit had gone in the direction that the lightning struck. "I hope Pit's okay. He did go in that direction after all," she said. She looked at the Ranamon. "What should we do?" Lucy asked her. Pit and another Kyupimon stood among a group of other Fresh and In-Training levels. They were all trembling in fear in the face of their attacker. It was Devimon. Unlike normal Devimon however, this one was yellow and the red marking on his chest and left boot were black instead of red. He was Elec Devimon.

Yuu smiled at Nova and Sparkmon, yet, couldn't but feel puzzled at the boy's words 'This is usually when things go wrong'. Uhm, he began to wonder why things would go wrong in a peaceful place like the Village of the Beginnings; it was like, who'd want to bother a bunch of digieggs and baby digimon, and what they'd win from that? If he got his stuff right, deleted babies would just reformat right here, and even if they were absorbed, they'd amount of data they'd yield would really insignificant, even in stupidly large numbers. So, if anybody would attack this place, it'd be out of... pure malice, more than anything.
Yuu was proven wrong by the lightning that struck a far away point in the Village, causing a ruckus and making all the nearby babies flee in fear of that strange happening. He grew worried, and wanted to know what was exactly happening, despite Nova's advice. He tried to keep his distance, but slowly approached to the point the lightning had struck, hoping to see what was actually happening. In the way, he held Kyo tightly, as the newborn mon seemed to struggle to break free from his grasp, with his intentions clearly set on whatever was happening in the distance. Why she'd be so eager to go there? He could only guess as he tried to peek what was happening.

By this point, Vetina had largely ignored the reunion going on nearby. She was preoccupied with her own thoughts and didn't want to bother the strangers... and Vetina usually liked to bother strangers. It was literally the only way she could start socializing consistently.
However, there was a thunder crack some distance away. The sky was still calm... calm enough to not denote a thunderstorm. Seeing this, it seemed this was caused by some other digimon, maybe an angry Elecmon or something.
But some Kyupimon spoke up to her, asking Vetina advice on what to do. Looking to the source of the sound, Vetina began to walk after a few moments. "No niceties rise from thunder sans rain." Her pace then quickened, and she soon saw the culprit. It was some yellow Devimon menancing the children here.
"What is your purpose here? Surely not to play antagonist to toddlers, I'd hazard a hope."
