[ENTER]
After miles of flying, finally they arrived at the Terminus City. Yep, good old bustling city. It's been a while since his journey all around Digital World. From Mainframe Hills, and then to help Ayaka to pass her trial, and then to Village of Beginnings to see if his parents were reborn. However, he learned that they didn't, as their data were absorbed. He was a victim of one's greed. The strong's greed.
That's why he had to be greedy as well. To seek for more power to avenge his adoptive families. That was the reason he worked with Joseph and his partners to seek for more power from allies from various places in Digital World. He didn't care if those parties were dangerous, as long as they were trustworthy and, well, manipulable. No one would consider his morality ambiguous, though.
Ankh then landed in front of a big, but seemingly an old building. After dropping Joseph and his partners, the Garudamon X devolved into his Hawkmon form, so he could enter the building. In the building was a laboratory of some sort, with the dirty and cracked ceramic floor and walls, dusty tubes and flasks on the table, spider webs all around the place, and dusty tables and chairs. Also, there were lamps, barely lighting. The laboratory equipments such as laminar, electronic scales, autoclaves, and incubators were mostly unusable due to short-circuits from the building's damaged electricity installments.
"Here's my turf. Like I said before, it's like an old rubble here. So, sorry if it displease you."
But nevertheless, home sweet home.

How many were they? How many were those that Joseph had dealed with, how many alliances with the digital world's scum did he make to prepare his vengeance-fueled war? T, the Great Yang, the Viking King, the Golden Pirate...and those were just the recent ones. The suggestion of dealing with such people came to him, right there, in terminus city, on his first day in the digital world...all the pain and hatred he felt for his fate in the human world, adding the fear of a new world...a past he'd rather leave there. But this one, kind understanding figure came to him, proved that appearance doesn't really matter when YOU do. Datamon. Joseph couldn't wait to see him again, to tell him about the progress on the task that the robot had suggested to him, one which he took deeply as his. A way to obtain his long-sought revenge.
Ankh made his progress and landed near a building before returning to his Hawkmon firm and entering. Joseph and his partner's followed him inside, and Immediatly noticed the terrible state that the interior was. Still, it didn't feel bad to be there to none of them. Kokunemon and Viralkunemon just launched themselves onto the spiderwebs, beginning to eat them up. Joseph, on the other hand, saw this fmailair scent of rot, the sight of age, destruction and abandoment, to which he grew used to, familiar to in his life on the streets. For that reason, Ankh's comment caused Joseph to look at the bird digimon and shake his head before answering.
"Don't worry about it Ankh. My parent's amnesia caused them to kick me onto the streeets of Shibuya pennyless, so this place sounds like luxury to me. I am pretty sure that will change when we rule the digital and human world, bur for now...this place is closer to a home than any of those fancy places the guys I deal with inhabit." Joseph explained to Ankh "Still, I won't deny this place this a little spring cleaning...and repairs. You mind if I bring in help for the repairs? I know a Datamon who was in Terminus the last time I came here, and he was quite helpful. Datamon's tend to be techinolgy experts, so he might be able to bring a little life to this place, if he's still in the city. But I won't call him in unless you want it too."

"So you lived like that too, huh?" Ankh remarked. So his fate suffered the same thing as him. Being living in nowhere, straying around to seek for more power. The difference was, while Joseph's parents were still living and well, Ankh lost his entire adoptive family. Maybe he had better fate than Joseph's, but not much.
"I was born here, and experimented for their own purposes. This place's been rusty since, those bastarded researchers left this place for dead after they moved to somewhere else. I wonder why they didn't bother to repair this place, though." Ankh explained. While this place was old and rusty, he felt like he's been home here. Although, he had most of his bad memories here. He spent his early stages there as experiment subject. But what purpose, he was still guessing that it's for "one's greed for power".
"The good thing is, I can pry on their scientific journals and their research reports, so I can learn about some of their researches, and figuring how if I make a research of my own. I wanted to get this place into what it was used to be, though. So, I think a repair and maintenance would be good. We could make this place as our base of operation." Ankh pointed out.

"Certainly, they feared your return, Ankh." Viralkunemon answered Ankh's wonder about tqhy the researchers left. "I am sure such feeble, primative beings as the one's who'd straight out oppose and torture someone like you and flea, would stand no chnace against you...therefore, they ran trying to find somewhere to hide from you."
With this aid, Viralkunemon ate some more spider webs. Kokunemon wasn't even paying attention anymore, so focused she was in her meal. Joseph smiled at his partner's contempt, but they still had work to do. Joseph's own stomach growled, reminding him that he hadn't ate since they left the Yeti King's hut. It was time to go out a get a meal before he fainted from hunger. He had lived a harsh life, dealed with powerful scum from the digital world, and been titled as the emperor of something, he imagined, the digital world...but for all his achievements and troubles, he was still human. He'd still have to eat.
"Very well, Ankh. Viralkunemon!" Joseph called out. The larva turned to him. Joseph raised his digivice and it began to shine as well as the machine, reverting it to it's in-training form of Chronomissimon. "You're faster in this form. Go find Datamon. Of you can't get back here in two hours, ok? As for you, Kokunemon, wipe this place clean if webs and dust. Got me?"
"Yes, master!" his two digimon replied together in chore. Chronomissimon left quickly and Kokunemon began eating webs twice as fast, a smile in the face of all three of them. Joseph turned to Ankh.
"As for you and I, I think we could use a meal, or at least I could. Know any good places we can eat in? Not expensive preferably, I'd rather not have to blow up stuff till we actually start the conquering." He told the bird-like digimon.

Hearing ViralKunemon's comment made Ankh snickered and replied, "You think? I think they just moved away to new research facility, knowing that they would still have need to experiment me, but they decided to let me go and do as I please. I returned into this place by accident, in short words."
And then the mechanical worm reverted into his In-training form, while his sister ate the spider webs all around the place. The missile-like Digimon then flew off to find Datamon to repair Ankh's... broken place. While Joseph starting feeling hungry, he could feel one as well. He could feel his stomach growled as if there were a group of Greymons were feasting there. And he knew where he could get meals.
"I know the place where we can get decent meals with cheap price. It's nearby, so it might not take too long." Ankh informed. He then flew away from his house, assuming Joseph would follow him. He then went to a bazaar where there were shops and stands of some sort around. There, he found a Turuiemon selling meat buns in the cart. Ah, good old meat buns. Besides meat buns, she sold the sweet buns as well. In the menu were Beef, Pork, Chicken, Fish, and Squid-and-Shrimp meat buns, and then Chocolate, Cheese,Choco-Cheese, Strawberry, Blueberry, Orange, Banana, Grape, Melon, Pineapple, Mango, Kiwi, Durian, and Mix-Fruit sweet buns. The meat buns also had cheesed and spicy variants.
"Good afternoon! Can I help you?" The Turuiemon asked upon noticing Ankh (and if he followed Ankh, Joseph as well). "I would like to have the usual spicy beef meat buns." Ankh ordered.

Ankh told Joseph that he actually did know a cheap place where they could eat, and flew away. Joseph smirked, as the bird was almost certainly hunrgy as well, possibly even more due to the fact that he had to carry Joseph and his partner's around, while staying in his ultimate form for an extended period to do so.
Still, the bird clearly had more energy than Joseph as he just flew of the broken laboratory, with Joseph following the best he could with his weak (and weakned) human legs. The bird finally stopped near a cart filled with several kinds of meat buns. It seemed the cart was owned by a Turuiemon, who Joseph assumed to be an aqquaitance of Ankh to say the least, given the bird digimon asked for the "usual" beef meat buns.
Upon reaching the destination, Joseph stopped and bending and catching his breath. He got straight again before ordering.
"I'd just like what et you got that's cheapest...please. I'm hungry but I can't really afford much yet." Joseph told the Turuiemon. "So, Ankh, you use to eat here a lot? I'm suprised this cart didn't grow into a restaurant or disappeared then, if your, hum, previous "status" in terminus was as long ago as you made it seem."
Meaningwhile, Chronomissimon was searching for the Datatmon. The digimon was not where they had encountered him before, though people were telling the missile digimon that the Datamon did pas through certain shadowy places usually, then providing examples. It intrigued Chronomissimon that that digimon who suggested them to attempt to conquer that world by making allies had that kind of reputation. Chronomissimon wasn't naive, he knew the robot had something up his sleeve, an agenda of his own when he made his twmptive suggestions to Joseph...but Chronomissimon's worry about it was growing. What if they were fooled?
One thing was for certain: they came too far to stop at that point. Besides, he had orders from Joseph and he wouldn't desobey. He wasn't ready. Not yet, at least.

"Okay. A spicy beef meat bun and cheese bun, then." Turuiemon replied as she noted the orders. Of course, the cheese bun was the cheapest at the price. So, the rabbit-like Digimon then took the ordered buns, steamed warm from the steamer. She then asked the duo, "Would you like to have sauces?"
"Spicy mayo." Ankh answered. "Okay." The Turuiemon then put a reddish mayo into a small plastic pack with resealable zip before putting the pack and the bun into a boxes. A box of bun with spicy mayonnaise was Ankh's, and another box was Joseph's. After she was done with the steam buns, it was time to pay. "Okay, so it's all 300 Bits." Ankh then handed out three coins of 100 Bits to the champion Digimon before taking the foods.
"Thank you for ordering." Turuiemon said before she bowed to the duo. Seeing Joseph tired, he then helped the boy to walk to the lab again. He still had much energy with him, due to him being Digimon and all, especially after he had reached higher level. And for Joseph, he was still a normal human, so he had to help the boy in case he couldn't do something Ankh would do.
"You see. When I was in runaway from the lab, I lived a rough life in streets. With no place to live, no money, and no job. So, I resort to steal money from nearby mons just to buy a food. That was, until I met the Pandamon family. They provided me with everything much I need for proper living. And then I went back to the ways of trickery and theft to gain money after they were slaughtered. I didn't want to stay like that, so I tried various jobs such as trashpicking and labor works. They don't pay me much, but at least it's enough to cover my daily dining." Ankh explained about his part of life. He knew, that Joseph would do the same if he had been like the bird. He had been floundering among the weak society, formed by the strong. Sure, he couldn't stand on this kind of life, which made his life miserable.
"The ones who create the weak are the strong ones. They can do whatever they please to the weak, even treating them like trash. Even if I gained this kind of power, I still need the power to put the strong ones into their place so they won't ever lay their fingers on the "Weaklings" anymore." Ankh said.

"Thanks." Joseph told Ankh as he was handed the cheese bun, which had payer for "I'll give you my share of the price when we get to the lab then, Ankh. I assume you're familiar with the price of this things?"
Ankh went on, wanting to help him to walk back to the lab. Joseph shook his hand in front of the bird.
"Don't worry about me, I'm fine, but thanks anyway. Got ny breath back. Just remember I'm not as fast as you, not till I can biomerge anyway, but I'm still very, very far away from that according to Chronomissimon." Joseph explained to Ankh. The digimon told him about his early years, how rough life had been, why he wantedd power. "I can't say I have such nobke goals, Ankh. To me power will be...revenge. You and I have that in common: we lived terrible, poor life's out in the streets, some terrible experiences with our first "families" as well, and when we finnaly got someone who cared about us, they were ripped from us. To you the powerfull, the strong are the scum. To me their idiots...and evryone who supports their idiocity is scum. I want revenge, I have nothing else to live for. I'll confess, world domination wasn't my first plan, it was suggested to me."
Meaningwhile, Kokunemon was almost done. She wondered where Joseph was, worried. Could something have happened to him? Was he caught by some vigilante, hoping to prevent his plans for conquering the world?
Chronomissimon was bored. It was the fourth place he visited, with no sign of the Datamon. Where could that old piece of junk be? That's when the missile though he spotted something, a robotic leg entering a bar. Accelarating, he followed quickly inside the stone structure. It was crowded, full. But orders were orders. He'd get that Datamon.

As Ankh flew slowly on the way to the lab, Joseph pointed out that his life was similar to his. He knew it, and there wasn't any better than having a friend to conquer together. To purge the world from corruption, by force. And to rebuild the world where there can be understanding between each other, like what they had done with T, Yeti King, and Golden Pirates.
"So the world domination isn't your first plan, huh? And as it's suggested, don't you think you're being... used?" Ankh asked. "And I do agree with the strong abusers as idiots. They don't know how to muster their power properly, and to control them. They're basically just weakling who just gained power but have no comprehension on how to use them properly."
Eventually, they returned to the lab. Looks like that KoKunemon had done her job well. Almost no spider webs, but still, they had to deal with the rest of... damage. Of course, they would need Datamon for that one. The bird rookie then ate the spicy meat bun after pouring the spicy mayo on it. It was really delicious, as usual.

They kept walking, or in Ankh's case, flying slowly towards the laboratory. Ankh mencioned that maybe Joseph was being manipulated. He had considered that hyphothesis, but things were going too well...maybe he had been manipulated, but the one who did so had expected him to die, not actually be able to cut the deals. Maybe.
"Wekl, you'll have a chnace to ask him yourself. The Datamon WAS the one the suggested me it. I was lost here, with only my two fresh level partners, one of them explaining to me a lot about how things work around here...who to trust." Joseph told Ankh, his words being followed by a slight chuckle. The bird gave a small summary on who the "strong" and the "powerful" were, based of Jpseph's comment about that matter. In response the boy raised his shoulders "I think you got it. But for now, it doesn't matter if they're smart, idiots, good, bad, assassins , presidents... They're still powerfull. We should focus on turning the tables before we go deep into who we strike on, especially becuase there may be people who get in the way, and we'll have to wipe them too."
At last, they got to the lab. Kokunemon seemed to be dome and she gave Joseph the closest she could to a smile before proceeding to finish her work.
Chronomissimon was angry. The Datamon didn't stop, always on the move. However, hr was getting closer, the mrobotic voce being recognisable arledy by the missile digimon. It was time to speak. Chronomissimon maneged to touch the robot and poked him. Datamon turned.
"Hi Datamon. Remember me? My master Joseph requires your services." Chronomissimon said. The machine seemed suprised fir seeing the in-training and agreed to come with a silent nod.

Joseph then pointed out that they still needed to gather more power to face the adversaries. True, they still needed to turn the tables, as he alone was impossible to defeat them, even with him acquired his Mega form. Granted, he was just acquired it when he had been tested by Izanamon along with Ayaka, and he had yet mastered the Flames of Rebirth in his FireBeelzemon.form. But nevertheless, it would be better idea if he and Joseph gathered more allies.
And something about Datamon was intriguing Ankh. That piece of junk was a bit...shady, or at least he thought was. So he was the one who suggested Joseph to look for allies to conquer the world. But what happened if it turned out that Joseph was being used and get betrated eventually? He had to be careful.
"You're right. Once he's here, I have a lot to ask him. I started thinking if he is less likely trust worthy." Ankh said as he continued eating the beef bun.

So it seemed didn't think Datamon was all that trustworthy... A shame, given the machine was coming at that very moment to the lab, in order to fix it. That was, if Chronomissimon had arledy found him. Joseph decided to stay silent in that bit, just watching Kokunemon. The female digimon had tried to convince not to follow the sugeestion Datamon gave him, claiming it was "evil". Joseph shook at the memory. He knew he was evil. But so were DATS, the ones that he concluded to have erased his parent's memory. Who else? DATS were, as far as he knew, the only ones with such technology. So, he'd fight fire with fire. Evil with evil.
They didn't have to wait long until they heard someone knocking befor Chronomissimon came in.
"Grentleman, and worm, I bring you Datamon." The missile said, bowing before stepping aside to let the Datamon in. The digimon was carrying a tool box in each hand and looked at Chronomissimon before anything.
"Was that really necessary?" The machine asked.
"Yes, it's a formality." Chronomissimon replied, turning to Joseph after "Can I evolve again, master?"
Joseph raised his digivice, which began to shine, just as Chronomissimon. A moment later, the missile had been replaced by a mechanical larva, Viralkunemon.
"I see you obtained your partner's rookie evolutions, Joseph. Tell me, how is the conquering going?" The Datamon inquired.
"Yeah, I did. We made quite a few deals, but we still got quite some schedualed." Joseph answered. "Oh and this Ankh. I asked you to cone here so that you could repair his lab."
"Yes, I know." The Datamon stated "So, Ankh, do you have any particular place you'd like me to start working?"

As if it was on the cue, the Digimon in question came. Looks like Ankh had to keep his suspicion for himself, now that the tin was here. After all, he needed his service to repair his lab, so it could be functional again. But what for? To conduct experiment on his own Flames of Rebirth, and other experiments as well. The Hawkmon then saw the worms Digivolved into their rookie form. Joseph then reported the progress of their journey and introduced Ankh as the one who requested the repairs from the first place.
"So you're the Datamon, huh?" Ankh asked the robot-type Digimon. "I want you to repair the power plant in this facility first since the electricity is down. After that, I would like to fix the electricity circuits, so we can turn it on safely. And then fix the water taps, pumps, pipes, and sinks, since, while the water comes out, it's a bit dirty and mossy. We'll clean up this messy place together back to its former state after you do the job."
Assuming that Datamon would comply Ankh's request, the birdman would go to the power plant room to guide him. At the power plant room, Ankh showed the dead, dysfunctional generators. Those were able to be repaired, but might take time.
"This is the power plant. You see, the electricity generators are dead as hell. I tried to turn it on, but looks like it suffered from the short circuits, and they left it too long." Ankh explained before showing the charred, cut part of the generator cables. They were burned from the short-circuit, it seemed. "And these were the cause, it seems."
Ankh then flew to below the ceilings, with a tile missing. Wonder how Datamon could get there, since most of the electricity circuits were there. It was high from the floor, unless he could carry that rookie-sized Ultimate robot Digimon upwards.

"And what shall you pay me with?" The Datamon inquired as Ankh, as rhe bird explained to him his task. "Nevermind, let us discuss the price one the job is done. Nothing like starting to work right away. I'm sure I'll figure something out in the way."
Ankh took him to see the damaged power plant. It was quite broken, but nothing this experienced Datamon couldn't fix. This is, if Ankh gave him a ride over the missing tile.
"Yes, I can repair this, but I will need time, privacy and a lift over the missing tile." The Datamon explained to Ankh, both his tool boxes shaking and making noise as he lifted his arm towards the bird-man.
Meaninwhile, Joseph walked toward Viralkunemon, curious about the status of the digimon that had suggested his on-going plans for world domination.
"So, Viralkunemon, where did you find Datamon? What was he doing?" Joseph asked.
"I found in some random bar, I have no idea what he was doing before I called him. But he came right away when I told him you called, however..." Viralkunemon replied.
"However?" Joseph insisted.
"...Datamon was suprised when he saw me. VERY suprised. I'm not sure if he was counting on seeing us alive, master." Viralkunemon explained.
"Let us not tell anyone about this for, now, ok?" Joseph ordered.
"Not tell anyone about what?" Kokunemon loudly inquired.

The old Datamon then checked the damages. Looks like he could do this, but he needed to check the circuits first. So, Ankh flapped and hovered above Datamon while offering his feet to him to hold on. If he took them, he would lift Datamon first into the ceilings, and then he went back to carry the toolbox. There, Ankh found many... awry cables scattered almost everywhere. Like the generator cable, those cables were burned from short circuits.
"And as you see, the cables are burned, just like down there." Ankh said as he pointed at the scrawny cables. Also, there were burned resistors, as some of them might be burned from powering the lamps. "I don't know how it's done, but looks like... they intended to cut off all electricity here."
The Hawkmon then walked through the ceilings. He then checked the ventilation system. Wow, they were full of dusts and ashes. Looks like it had been burned as well. Even air vent didn't escape from that one, too. Damn it. He could cough if he got too close from that air vent. That was just amazing, Ankh had been living in literally a garbage dump.
