Ankh offered Datamon a foot, an offer which the machine agreed too, wrapping his arm aorund it, to be able hold on to Ankh while still carrying his toolboxes. Upon reaching the place he needed to repair, Daramon opened the tolboxes, took out some instrument and began repairing, forgeting the world around him, so focused he was in his work. He knew Ankh away, as the machine considered. Indeed, it seemed like this work, this damage, it had to be more than a coicidence. Someone tried to shut down the lab. That might mean the laboratory contained important information. Information which Datamon would like to aqquire, certainly.
That would be his price.
Menaingwhile, Joseph and Viralkunemon were in an awkward position.
"You did say something about not telling anyone about something, so...What was it?" the larva inquired "I can keep a secret. You trust me, don't you Joseph?"
"Of course I do!" Joseph , actually a little offended "It's just..."
Oh no! He couldn't think of anything! What could he tell Kokunemon to make her stop asking about it and at the same time, prevent her from telling anyone else about his and Viralkunemon's suspicions?
"The fact is, I don't. I wouldn't trust you a secret if it had your name on it." Viralkunemon replied " You're a loudmouth, Kokunemon, everyone knows that."
"Loudmouth? You, you think I'm a loudmouth? I try to respect people! I try to be nice! It's more than you can say for yourslef, Viralkunemon!" Kokunemon shouted.
""Nice?" What good was being "nice" ever do to anyone that he wouldn't be able to get with power and fear? With objectivity and persuation?" Virallunemon asked, chuckling. "Listen well, this is a pointless argument. You are clearly spekaing through your feelings, but they are irrational, they can be contraditory and usually are just plain unreasonable. So, I'd say by not doing those things you mentioned, I'm actually being better than you."
Kokuenmon didn't answer. She just turned around and ran off, clearly sobbing. A faint smile appeared on Viralkunemon's face, seeing her that way. For reasons he would not tell Joseph yet, pain was a great pleasure of his, when inflicted on those he dispised....and most people dit into tat category.
Joseph had arledy slowly walked away when the fight began, going to Ankh. He didn't what to be involved in his partner's fights, so he just got to a place from which he could see the bird-man.
"Hey Ankh! How's it going? Datamon's working yet?" He shouted to the digimon.

That Datamon finally got to work. It might take a while, maybe a LOT of time. But still, better to be done than nothing at all. He could wait as long as he wanted, really. All while he finished eating his bun, Ankh went down and he saw Joseph there.
The boy asked if Datamon started working. Ankh smirked, as he already got the answer for his question. "Of course. He's working on the electricity installation first, and then to the power plant." Ankh answered to the boy's question. He then walked to the boy and asked, "Don't you think this lab is abandoned intentionally? I mean, looks like this is not incidental at all. It's more like, they want to cover up their tracks. Although, they forget to take some, and I have those. Hopefully it would be enough to pay the prices."
All while Ankh looked around the lab, he then went to the previous room to take some of the scientific journals. Well, since he didn't have enough money to pay the service, he only could pay with those information. The information supposed to be the secret of the scientists back then. And he saw ViralKunemon and KoKunemon... bickering?
"Oh, gosh, CAN YOU TWO SHUT UP?! I don't want to hear you two fighting for pointless thing, for fuck's sake!" Ankh raised his voice at the two worms. He was obviously, getting tired from those pointless fight. He wanted to deal with them personally, if he could.

Ankh's theories on the lab were on the conspiracy side of things. Many people would have laughed, but not Joseph. His parent's memory was deleted to keep something hidden and he was forming his own uprsing to take over two worlds. To him, conspiracies were not something to laugh about, they were something to fear.
"Well, in any case, we should keep our eyes open. If they did purpously try to erase their tracks, it's likely they left something behind to prevent it from being found by the curious. As for a payment...Datamon's tend to be very reasonable when it comes to payments, as they usually can figure a function for what seemed useless before." Joseph told Ankh. "If you wanna know, how I have this information, me and Chronomissimon did a little "check" on his species before taking his advise. So far, so good."
Ankh then went off to get some journals or whatever it was, when he spotted Viralkunemon's and Kokunemon's argument. He seemed angry as he ordered them to shut up. They both obeyed to that, turning their backs in each other and resuming their cleaning work. Kokunemon felt like she was about to cry, so sad she was. How could she let Joseph go about with her brother whispering in his ear, shaping his anger into evil? She knew that deep down, Joseph was just a little boy who was angry at the world and needed someone to blame to unload on...
Viralkunemon, in turn, was pleased, though a bit angry. All their plans were going well, his deal with Ankh had gone three times better than expected and Joseph was still unaware of his past life. The worm digimon wanted to girls, but he knew if he did, people would become too suspicious of him.

Seeing both larval rookies settled down, Ankh sighed in both relief and annoyance. Seriously, did both of them have to fight? He could understand that they had clashing ideals one to another, but that wasn't reason to bicker about. Damn, those worms were noisy, but he had no choice but to keep them company. Whether Joseph would stay evil or not, it's his to decide.
"Just I said before, whether Joseph will be good or bad is his to decide. You guys don't have to bicker over that, got that?" Ankh told the Kunemons. "I know you both worry about him, but don't let that bug you too much."
As Ankh picked more journals and papers, Joseph's mention about the abandonment rang the bell in his mind. It just reminded him of how he had his life miserable, having losing someone important to him. The only thing left in him was a revenge. A revenge against everyone who used their power by wrong means. They will suffer. They must suffer. By their very own rule of idiocy.
"I know. I just hope that they would be enough to pay all of these, as we both don't have enough money for that. Soon we will use their weapons against them. Fighting fire with fire. I would like to see them perish by their own research results." Ankh said.

It seemed Ankh's was angried by Joseph's words, restating his desire for vengeance. Ankh's had an interesting sense of justice, in Jpseph's opinion, as the bird wanted those who mistreated him to fall to their own research.
"Let us hope that is possible, Ankh." Joseph said, laughing a bit in a sinister manner "My methods are a bit less...ironic, but they still have their retribuition. DATS wiped my parent's memory to hide digimon's existance? Then I shall bring the worlds down with digimon." Joseph let out another laughter before continuing "I assume Datamon might want something, but I think we should check what's in those journals and research before we hand it out to anyone. I'd say the Datatamon deserves something with value, but we have to consider what kind of value. Afterall, there is some information we don't want ending up in wrong hands, right?"
To tell the truth, Joseph was really curious about what this lab's secrets might hold. If they were indeed, as Ankh suspected, something worth purpously attempting to destroy such and expensive-looking facility merely to hide the tracks and bury the secrets ot contained, then certainly the information was precious, possibly even dangerous.

From what he heard from Joseph, DATS seemed to be... secretive organization. Just because they wanted to hide Digimon from public, they erased someone's memory? Maybe it was reasonable, but to make Joseph's parent don't remember anything... it had something to do with his current state, it seemed. No, he couldn't let that.
Ankh wanted to create the world without corruption. The world without lies. The world where he could rule over the strong and protect the weak. Whatever the lies they told, he would break them with truth. No truths are hidden, no weak ones are oppressed, and no peace are disrupted. He would take any means to achieve them, even with extreme methods.
"Sure thing." Ankh responded to Joseph's suggestion as he handed the journals to Joseph. Some of the journals were related to Ankh's creation, as well as the other Digimons after him. In the journal, Ankh was referred as "Subject TJD-001".

Ankh handed the papers over to Joseph and the boy Immediatly began examining them. Curious, his two larval digimon climbed the walls to see too. The papers seemed to contain confusing information, yet Joseph was still able to get something from them. Maybe more than just "something.".
Most of it was pure scientifical gibberish. A bunch of numbers here and there, a couple giant words that ment "angry", a lot of them refering to experiments, particulary a certain "Subject TJD-001". Nothing too...wait what was that? Joseph flipped a couple pages, beggining to pay more attention to certain details regarding this particular experiment.
"Ankh, take a look at this. The "Subject TJD-001"'s origins..." Joseph called out, poiting at a paragraph in one of the documents "I'm not sure about real life, but in movies (and that's the closest thing we have to this kind of situation), the words "DNA" and "inject" together never spell good news. I'd say this "Subject TJD-001" is some kind of hybrid."
Viralkunemon growled at this. Kokunemon gave a confused look, leaving the mechanical larva to explain.
"There a reason for digimon to assossiate with humans, using digivices. They allow a human's emotion, which has nearly unlimeted potential, to be used to fuel our digivolutions. However, the digivice has it's limits and will block off certain amounts of energy while one's unprepared. But if one is a hybrid, then he'd have a digimon's powers AND would be able to go directly to the scource of his evolution...It's like cheating in a chess game, who knows what might happen." Viralkunemon explained.
Not too far away, the Datamon smiled. So, this lab used to be done to make hybrids, huh? Interesting, maybe his creators had even more followers than he thought...or maybe these were just more fools trying to set a defends against their inevitable fate.

Ankh looked at Joseph while he was reading the article. Looks like he had hard time to comprehend, but the bird was sure he could. And then Joseph came out with discovery about "Subject TJD-001", which caught Ankh's attention. That somehow sounded... familiar to him. Could that be... it was him?
"Subject TJD-001?" Ankh inquired. "Let me see."
Ankh then looked at the journal. Looks like he was right. According to the article. Subject TJD-001 had hatched from Digi-egg, created from the implantation of human DNA and Bird-Type Digimon Data. Bird Type Digimon Data? Looks like it rang the bell to the certain bird. He then read more about the journal.
Apparently, according to the journal, Subject TJD-001 displayed a rebellious behavior. In said part of article it mentioned it contained a digital gene sequence that made his pyrokinetic ability. And then it mentioned about Project Digi-Genome, and plans to expand it into Project Genesis, by acquiring DNA samples of various humans and Digimons. All those information... now confirmed who Subject TJD-001 really was.
It was him, Ankh the Hawkmon. The early product of Project Digi-Genome. In other words, he was the "prototype".
"You can't be fucking kidding me..." Ankh grunted, before he gritted his beaks, and clenched his fist of his humanoid, winged right arm. Now he learned who he really was. He only knew that he had been an experiment object, but to find out that he was one of the "hybrids", he was shocked.
But the shocked look then turned into devious smirk. Soon, he could use their own research against them. Also, what ViralKunemon said about human's role of Digivolution helped him so much. Now that he had means to tap into his Digivolution directly without seemingly any effort. Now he got it why he Digivolved into FireBeelzemon so easily during the trial with Ayaka and Izanamon.
"I see... I'm the Subject TJD-001! Now I know why I can digivolve so easy, because I have a part of human inside me! I can feel sorrow, anger, hatred, and love... While Digimons shared those traits too, those are more prominent on humans. So... I know what it feels to be them. And this strange arm... Now I get it all... Fufufu... Ha-HAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Ankh said before he let out a mad laughter, seemingly amused that he finally knew the reason why he had been born that way. To feel what humans feel, to think in humans' way, and to, of course, to make himself stronger than other Digimons. Looks like being an experiment object wasn't that half bad at all. He could use their experiment for his and Joseph's gain... For more power, of course.
And he looked forward for the so-called "Project Genesis".

As soon as Joseph called Ankh's attention to the journals, the bird garbbed them and began to examine them as well. At first, it seemed that it really didn't spell any good news, given the shocked look that appeared on Ankh's face. Yet soon, it turned to a smirk, and the bird revealed that HE was "subject TJD-001". Ankh was quick to claim to understand his power now, his reason to exist. For a moment, Joseph was worried that this discoveries might damage his alliance with Ankh, particulary after the mad laughter. He'd have to hope for now, as he knew he'd never be able to minimally damage Ankh in his partner's current state of power.
"I'm glad to see you're not worried, but I'd say part of this is way too precious to give away, even to Datamon. I believe some of the journals regarding failures and your early days might be good to go, as I don't think they can harm more than an embarrassing baby photo. However, we should be carefull about what kind of info we release regarding the actual successful experiment (which created you), as well as any future plans those scientists may have had...we don't want to alert anyone, now do we?" Joseph told Ankh.
"And Ankh...be careful about what you feel too. Even thought you can take power from your emotions, remember you are not aware of your body's structure. Human emotion has unlimited potential, yet no one can be sure about your physical body...to much dark emotions will destroy you, quite litterally. Too much good ones, will neutralise and deceive you, on the other hand." Viralkynemon warned, whispering in Ankh's ear.

Joseph suggested that Ankh shouldn't hand over the information in the journal, which contained the successful creation of Ankh, AKA Subject TJD-001. Considering he WAS the living proof of experiment's success, he shouldn't spoil any of the experiments to Datamon. Well, it was supposed to be TOP SECRET. The secret only researchers may knew. Of course, it would be very sensitive information.
"I think so. I think if I show him, he'll be interested, and he'll be after this. I can't afford this sensitive information fall into hands of untrustworthy. You know, I still have my suspicion on him." Ankh said.
ViralKunemon then said to him about warnings when harnesing his emotions. Human emotions could be powerful as it enables him to tap into the power of Digimons, but it also could be a disaster as it would either break him or weaken him. Yet he was still unaware of his own body structure. Maybe it would be something like Digimon, but with some human parts? Who knows.
"I know, right? Emotion could be a dangerous thing, yet at the same time, it could be the power we need. It's like double-edged sword, and granted that we don't know how potent it is yet." Ankh responded to ViralKunemon's warnings.

"I can't say I don't find him a bit...shadowy, nor that I would trust him with that kind of information. But nevertheless, we still have to pay him with something, even if we only do it to keep him quiet about this place, and for the job he's doing repairing it." Joseph commented in response to Ankh's revelations that he had suspicions of Datamon.
"Then why don't we stop? We should keep an eye on him before continuing." Minomon stated.
"Wait, stop what?" Joseph inquired.
"The world conquering th..." Minomon began, stopping, however, when she received an angry look from Joseph.
"We have gone too far to stop now. Thought I took the advise from Datamon, this is beyond him now. We will continue, we will finish it, and we will make sure t counts. We will NOT give up just because we have suspicions of Datamon, was I clear?!" Joseph nearly roared at Minomon. Both his partners nodded at this, obviously terrified. Minomon also felt saddened by this, she didn't like seeing Joseph like that, loosing his temper and becoming such a terible persona as to yell at his partners like that. Viralkunemon, on the other hand...Anger and hatred, they no longer fueled his body, but they still gave him pleasure.
"I'd take care when testing the waters, Ankh." Viralkunemon told the bird in response to his comment on his power ebing like a double-edged sword, and that they were still unaware of it's true potential.

After the discussion of being more selective on choosing which information to give to Datamon, Minomon then asked Joseph to stop conquering the world. However, as he said, they were too late to hold back. They had started it and there was no way they could stop midway. So basically, they were past the point of no return. No one could stop them, for now.
"Like Joseph said, worm-brat, we're too late to stop. Soon we'll gain what we want, and to seize both worlds, so we can purge this world from evil beyond purpose or reason. We'll rule the world so the strong won't ever lay their filthy hands on the weak! No one can stop us, and those who gets in our way will suffer!" Ankh declared. Speaking of "those who gets in his way", it reminded him to a certain girl, with her space lizard. They would be absolutely get into his way, considering they would stop him from realizing his plans.
"Besides, we can use that old rust for our bidding. You know we can't leave a valuable ally hanging around, don't you?" Ankh asked. He then heard Viralkunemon commented to try something new, which the bird replied with a nod. He then looked to the power plant direction, and he narrowed his eyes, thinking if he could trust that old scrap of metal. He then took a book of paper from the shelves, and it seemed to be a research report of some sort.

"Well said!I couldn`t agree more." Joseph exclaimed after Ankh`s short speech of determination. Indeed, Ankh would go with them to the end. That was the kind of ally Joseph truly wanted to have: one who would stay loyal, unwavering.
Kokunemon, however, backed up a bit, afraid of them. Was that what Joseph was ment to become? Was his anger ment to make him into the mercyless monster that Viralkunemon desired? Kokunemon would not allow it, not if it was in her power to stop it. But she`d have to be patient.
A thought crossed Joseph`s mind. There was a chance, even if tiny, that Datamon might become their enemy. That would not be the first enemy he had, as he had made another one in na xros general named Jackson and his partner Shortmon. And if Joseph had, with his little time in that world, arledy made two enemies for himself, how many could Ankh have made? It was a question that needed answering.
"I agree that he can be quite a valuable ally, if it is that he is not arledy against us...speaking of which, there is something we should discuss: enemies. It is my believe that na xros general named Jackson and his partner Shortmon, don`t the have the "best of ideas" regarding me and my partners. Do YOU have any opposition we should know about and be on the lookout for?" Joseph inquired Ankh.
"And what may THAT be?" Viralkunemon whispered, noticing the papers Ankh had just taken from the shelves.

Just as Ankh was about to read the report, Joseph brought up enemies of his. Looks like he and that Jackson guy were acquaintances... in a bad sense. If Ankh had heard the boy correctly, it seemed that Jackson guy disagreed in the idea Joseph and his partners. Speaking of enemy, he had two: The researchers who made and experimented him for their desire of power, and remnants of La Famiglia. However, besides the enemies, there were more, but rather, they were just his rivals.
"Oh? So you have enemy, huh? I bet you and that guy butted heads hard. Speaking of which, I already told you about the La Famiglia, right? While I know they're disbanded, some of them roam free. Also, I would like to use those bastarded scientists and play along with their future Project Genesis, before I can destroy them inside out. Also...
Besides of those, I have a person and her Digimon who always get in my way. They're not exactly my enemy, they're just annoyance to my goal, although she had the same goal of purging world without corruption. The difference is, she wanted to achieve that with more goody-giddy peaceful way, and don't give any fuck about sacrifices. Honestly, you must give away something if you want another, right? That chick and her space lizard were so troublesome. Bah, naivete and pacifistic at that!" Ankh answered to Joseph as he slammed his fist of humanoid, winged right hand to the wall. He was so furious that it made a small crack on the wall. He then continued,
"She is Ryoko Satsuma, and her Digimon is Ryusei Satsuma, the SpaceAgumon. They're strong, and managed to defeat me once. Once I meet them again, I'll show them my true power... The power I've achieved so far. I'll show her that she can't save the world without sacrifices, and they'll die if they still keeping their goddamn pacifism. Of course, I'll sacrifice them first for the new world we desire." Ankh explained.
ViralKunemon then snooped in, looking at the paper Ankh was about to read. After that mechanic worm asked of that paper, which titled "Project Robo-Spirits". Ankh looked at the report, which basically contained the... well, report of a research. There, it was stated that the project played on the research of how one can activate a Spirit Totem without need of human being as host. Instead, it would be a robot that transform from a Spirit Totem into Digimon-like android form and vice-versa, summoned from a modified D-Tector, controlled by humans and Digimons with the device. However, in the report's conclusion, it was stated that the research cancelled due to lack of resources and time.
"The report about using Spirit Totems as drone, huh? I think this should suffice." Ankh answered.

The first people Ankh brought up as his enemies were those Joseph arledy knew about, La Flamigila , the digimon group who liked Ankh's adoptive family and the project genesis, who they just found out were not only his enslaver's in Ankh's early years, but also his creators.
"Yes, I know about those. I ment, any other enemies? Tamers, Xros generals, spirit wielders, anything?" Joseph insisted, getting his answer. It turned out there was a tamer that opposed Ankh, a sort of pacifistic, but powerful, tamer named Ryoko and her partner, Ryusei. "I'll watch my back for those then. I can't sys I have any joy for those pacifists myself. They seem to be everywhere, like a plague, never really doing anything to actually help, only complaining about those who take the innitiative."
Viralkunemon heard Ankh's thoughts on the papers he just found, becoming frustatred by the lack of a good answer to his question, so curious he was about the power if these "Project Genesis" people, or the at least the power they helped create.
"Suffice for what, oh great Ankh?" Viralkunemon inquired.
