Looking at Mana vomiting her stomach out, Karin sighed and took out her phone. Drats, three missed calls, all from her mother. She knows this means that she's needed in home for some reasons... now how to explain to her mother that she practically dug something out of the trash bin? Karin walked out of the room, hoping Mana is there to hear her.
"...Mana, I'm going back home, I'm sorry... My mother called... but now that I know your house, I'd be checking you now and then, alright? Now, I'll be going... sorry. However, if you need me, I'll be coming anytime. Just give me a call... by the way, if you want, here's my address..."
She gave her a piece of paper and put it on the table. "It's on the table, by the way. It's a bit far, but you can go with train. If you want to come, you're welcome to come anytime. Well, then, see you."
Karin noticed one thing... her punk-like clothes from before. It's wet, but not noticeably so. She decided to wear it and go back home... She felt sorry for Mana, but she can't stay for too long. What would Mana's parents thinks of a punkish, mean prick girl like her hanging around Mana?
Well, whatever, time to go.

Some time later, and somewhat calmed down from the whole ordeal, she heard Karin saying that she had to go away and that saddened her. She wanted to be with her; she needed her right now, but she understood the stance of her surrogate sister; after all, she too had a family and her matters to care about. The world didn't spun around her, and it was greedy on her stead to say to tell her to stay, so she mustered her most steady words as Ayaka gently rubbed her back.
"G-goodbye, nee-chan!" she said, not capable of shrouding her sadness completely "I'll visit you soon, I guess!". Truth to be told, she just wanted to race behind her and go with her. To enjoy her company and to seek refuge in the solace that sister-like figure she now looked up with admiration, but even in this moment, she remained stoic. Tears coursed down through her face again as she went to the door, to lock it after Karin was gone. Not much time after, she went shuffling, almost on a zombie-like manner to her bed and just cried and cried on her pillow, mentally asking herself why finding happiness was so difficult for her, at least until she fell asleep.
