Tatsuya smiled slightly when Yuuki's brother described him as an aloof, cold person, who had mysteriously changed since a specific point in time, which the Kazan knew was when he met his Digimon partner. He was glad to hear that the boy had become much happier, but then, one day... he came back to his place, looking completely devoid of all emotion. From that moment on, he had become like a phantom, a living ghost, without saying anything.
From that moment on, the eighteen year old's face became pale. He was then asked if he knew something about what could've possibly made his brother act in such a strange way. Not knowing what to say, he just gulped, and looked away. He was strong, but even he himself couldn't take that guilt, that remorse, everything he had done to his own friends! What the hell was he, anyway? What would Kenji call him after he said that he was the reason his brother was like that?
-I... know what happened, firsthandedly. The first thing I oughta tell ya would be... that I'm really sorry that your brother is behaving like that. Everything that made him like that was my fault. I screwed up in more ways than I could've ever imagined... -he said, clenching his fists as Dorumon looked to the ground with a hurtful expression. It was evident that the Digimon also felt responsible for making Yuuki like that.
-Lightie... I'm sorry... -he muttered with a bitter gaze on his eyes, punching the tree Souji had just fallen from. -Listen, if you want to know it, I'll tell you everything later. But for now... let's just focus on Souji's Digitamas, okay? -the dark-brown haired male. -Ya only need to wait, and let the Digimon do their magic. See...? They should be popping out any second now... -Tatsuya said with a smile on his lips, as everytime he beheld a Digimon's birth.

Each egg splinters, only minutes after being found by their Tamer, leaving behind a pair of Fresh-level Digimon, literally sitting on Souji's hands. Small, silver, vaguely computer mouse-shaped, with lightning-bolt shaped antennae, and an aerial-like tail.
The two MetalKoromon emit a series of monotone beeps, and revolve on their Tamers' hands, before driving up his arms, and over his shoulders, then back around again, towards his hands, where they come to rest, occasionally beeping.
"...So...Digimon are...toy robots?"
He feels a little underwhelmed, to say the least. Although...they are kinda cute, whatever they're supposed to be. The beeping is a weird choice, though. So what exactly was he supposed to do with these? Throw them at people? Bring them to tiny robot cagefights? They certainly didn't look anything like the human-sized one that was with them. Maybe it's a more expensive model?
Souji listens to what they've been saying, although immediately feels like he's intruding when they start talking about someone being depressed, or changed. Yeah. None of his business.
"What...do I do with these?"

"...Is that so?" Kenji asked, sighing for a bit. "Well, whatever it is, you're seem... really regretting it, so I won't give you any crapload of whatever it is that would make you feels any shittier than now... but just answer this... He got a partner? So, is he one of these so called 'Chosen by Digimon' or sort? I think there's this... egg or sort 'visited' our room months ago, but... I don't think it's mine, so I just like that sort of rejected it. I mean, ostrich egg out of nowhere? But after a while, I got mine myself..."
Kenji unzipped his bag and showed it to them. An egg, which full of intricate pattern with a XIII written on the front. It refused to hatch, just as he said, although the boy rubbed it after he unzipped it. Nothing, nil, whatever it is, it refused to hatch. Kenji sighed and put his ear on the shell.
"Yep, nothing, still the usual mumbling sound, nothing new at all."
To be honest, he's very jealous to Souji who already got his to hatch... He wanted to do the same and get his brother to open up to him once more... It might be really awkward because he himself knows that he's not the talkative type, much less his brother... All these years, he thought that he was an annoyance to the older Itou... But like they said, unless they truly speak heart to heart, there's no way of knowing it...
Kenji wanted to do it, but lacked the 'bridge'. He hoped that his partner would be his bridge...
"...Well, not exactly. I don't think all of them are like yours..." he answered to Souji's question. "Also... I guess let the pro talk."

Tatsuya gave Kenji an apologetic, and thankful look. -That'd be the best... and yes, your brother also had a Digimon. It was the same species as mine, to be honest, yet they are so different to each other. It's quite funny, in that sense, they do resemble humans -the eighteen year old muttered.
When the two Digitama hatched, they revealed,as expected by the Kazan, two little Fresh Digimon, that began running up and down Souji's arms only to end up resting on his palms. They were two metallic creatures, with lightning-like antennae and emitted a beeping sound continuously. -I see, so you've got two Metal Koromon, huh? -he said, interested, approaching and attempting to pet them with both his hands.
When the Ikeda asked him if Digimon were toy robots, Tatsuya chuckled, and negated with his head. -No, no! Digimon can come in a heck lot of sizes and forms, though the newborns always tend to be cute. They also don't have to be robots. Here... let me show you -Tatsuya said, pressing a few buttons on his D-3. A mild glow came from Blake, the holosuit deactivating, revealing a purple fox-dragon. Dorumon rose his head to the now taller human.
-Yo. This is my true form. Ain't nothing like what you were expecting, am I right? -Dorumon asked with a half grin to the other human. Tatsuya then answered to the question every Tamer did to themselves: what to do with their partners? -Well, Souji, to be honest, there's no goal to reach. As a Tamer, you ought to take care of your Digimon, that's all. My relationship with Dorumon is a little bit more complicated, since it's an agreement we made once he was born, but your partners don't seem to be like him, which is a good start...
-The hell do you mean by that? -Dorumon asked with a dangerous gaze, making Tatsuya look away, whistling. -Nothing, nothing -he sarcastically said.

"Metal...Koromon..."
The two Digimon beep in acknowledgement of their name being called! They respond to the patting by vibrating gently, able to do little more than beep and move back and forth, at this stage. They seem to be quite happy to be perched on Souji's shoulders, at least.
"You...uh. You're..." A dinosaur-fox... "no, nothing like I expected. Will these two grow up to be as big as you?"
This is...overwhelming, to say the least. Newborn Machines, which are apparently alive, and will change and grow as they age? Crazy.
"No offense, but you look like you're built for combat. Is that what Digimon do? Fight each other?" he frowns, trying to grasp as much information as he can at once, "if they do...why? I mean. Why do they fight? Assuming they do."
Head. Hurts.
The MetalKoromon spin on his shoulders a few times, before both turning to stare at Dorumon, beeping the equivalent of 'Ooooh. Shiny. Big.'.

"...I see... So it's as I thought..." however, he eyed the... humon, wondering if it's his real form or not, but he dismissed it. He doesn't look like a Digimon, so it might be a disguise. The dark brown haired boy sighed, looking at his egg. It won't hatch... why it won't hatch? Still, the boy returned to the conversation again when Tatsuya said that Digimon aren't just in one shape... True, some that he has met is with diverse appearance... from a cat to a bird(?) thingy. Kenji wondered what would came out from his?
"...So this is the guy, huh? Lessee... Dorumon, Rookie, part of Nature Spirits Digimon. Attribute: Data... And for my sanity sake, I hope that my brother's Dorumon aren't like this or I'd have to deal with two grumpy people.... oh wait, you did said they are different... how different exactly?"
And then, Souji looks very confused about Digimon thing... if he have to admit it, he's in the same page.
"...Hmmm..."
Suddenly, his phone rings. Kenji looks shocked and quickly answered it.
"Huh? Aniki? What's up? ...Uh? Yeah...? Kay...? Kay....? Um... Wait, wait a sec, wait what do you mean 'see you in a week!? OI!?"
The line cut immediately. Kenji looks like he can't believe his ears. "....What the heck... first shopping, now suddenly he's suddenly telling me he's going somewhere? What the f***, that idiot brother..."

As Souji eyed his two partners, he told Dorumon that he was indeed something that he had been expecting, telling him afterwards that he seemed built for combat. Now, normally that would've been regarded as strange by any other creature, but for the Rookie, it was one of the best compliments one could give him. With a proud look, he spoke out loud as he laughed a little. -Yeah, they will, and they'll probably get bigger. Also... of course I'm built for combat! I'm a powerful Digimon, despite appearences! -the creature said, with Tatsuya facepalming.
-And a very humble one as well, huh? Bloody hell... -he sighed, turning to Souji again. -Well, Digimon are like us. They usually have their own reason to fight, and the most basic one is the need to protect their Tamer, which in this case would be you. They will get bigger, but you'll have to take good care of them, specially in these levels. Until they reach Rookie, they aren't as strong as your average human, really, but some of them do have some nifty tricks up their sleeves. In the end, it's your choice. You don't have to fight if you don't want to, unless you're threatened, of course -the indigo-eyed boy explained it as best as he could.
At that moment, Kenji analyzed Dorumon, but the results were different from those of Tatsuya's D-3. -Either a Tamer's Digivice grants more information about one's partner or your Digivice is wrong, man! It might be because every Digimon is unique, but my Dorumon isn't part of the Nature's Spirits, but from the Dragon's Roar. Maybe because of his evolutions, though I don't know.
Now, Souji, listen to this. Even if a Digimon has a standard evolution line, it isn't fixed. For example, my Dorumon should turn from this into this... -he then showed a picture of the Dorugamon line,-but mine goes to BlackGrowlmon, into MetalGreymon X, then Dorugoramon -he completed swapping the images as a proof.
-What I mean is that they are as different as us, and they do grow in a different way depending on how they're raised. So take good care of 'em! -Tatsuya finished the explanations, as Kenji recieved a phone call from Yuuki! After hanging up the phone, the Itou complained about how he was going somewhere for a week... in Tamer's language, that was spellt as "Digital World".
-"Perhaps we'll run into each other and I get to apoogize, after all..." -the young man thought while curiously looking at the MetalKoromons' beeping.

Souji nods slowly, taking in all the advice he's given. Talk about overwhelming!
"Where...uh. Where do Digimon come from, anyway? I mean. No offense, but you, uh," he eyes the port on Dorumon's head, "don't exactly look...hm. I'm not sure how to phrase it without being offensive. Natural? You don't look like you evolved alongside humanity, rather,"
He's completely open to the possibility of extraterrestrial life or parallel dimensions, if that's the case here. Believable, definitely, given the fact they seem to be intelligent forms of life, but as far as he knows, there's no real record of their existence. None that he's ever seen, anyway.
Souji's eyes flicker in Kenji's direction. He's tempted to ask if he's alright, but still figures it isn't really any of his business. His gaze drops to his D-3 for a moment, now displaying the status of both MetalKoromon. Interesting...some kind of wireless connection? Their 'tails' do look like they could be transmitters of some kind...
He lets out a barely audible sigh, before turning to Kenji again, "Is everything alright?"
At least he tries to make it sound sincere.

"Yours are part of Dragon Roar? Hmmm... I wonder if this device is broken or it's just some sort of general ency... oh?" the moment Kenji said that, his Digivice quickly shows that it's set on'general species information'. The boy let out an 'ah'. He then turned once again to Tatsuya. Who explained that Digimon evolution is not fixed. So rather than growing up in stages, they're more like... varied in some way? So sometimes, instead looking like they retain some of the previous evolution's characteristic, there's a chance that they gone out from it, retaining the minimalest relation?
"I see, so that's how it is... Then... when you said that somehow you know about it, does it mean that actually you've seen a Dorugamon before or ever encountered it?"
And when Souji asked him if everything is alright, the brown haired boy stared at him, catching the not-sincere question and the sigh.... Well, he's a bit offended, but he know how it sounds to the other guy... he himself would feel the same if he's alienated from the conversation. Still, he's not pleased.
"...Just treat that as a yes. I'm kind of wanting to try to get into Digital World... Where I can find the entrance?"

Tatsuya nodded at the Itou's words, confirming that they were true. That family was just the species's one, it didn't have to be fixed to all the Dorumon, neither did their evolutions. When he was asked if he had met a Dorugoramon before, the duo just chuckled at the same time. -Well, apart from seeing my partner in his Mega stage, no, I haven't met any other Dorugoramon. However, having scanned a Digimon gives me access to his original line. A nice feat, huh? -the Kazan said with a half-grin, as Dorumon smiled as well, obviously proud of his power.
Then, the fox-like dragon looked at Souji when he asked where did Digimon come from. -Of course I don't look natural to you. You've just met Digimon. Give it some time and you'll get used to it. And to answer your question, yes, there's this place called "Digital World", where a large number of us lives. It's like your world, really... even if it looks nice, the strong rule and the weak can just survive.
I'm sick of it, really. That's why I'm trying to get stronger, to be free. It's always the same shit, no matter where I go... Tatsuya also values freedom, that's why I'm with him right now. That, and because he's probably the best human I've met so far -the Digimon said, looking at his Tamer. -Most of the humans I've met are half-asses. At least this one is a full ass -he teased his Tamer.

Souji actually looks a little embarrassed, muttering a quick, "Sorry," to Keni for his attitude.
Digital...World? An entire world? Yes. Parallel Dimension stuff, like he said. Unless he means literally another planet? Visiting either sounds like it'll be nearly impossible. Shame.
"It's certainly true, we're all very half-assed individuals. The strong rule and the weak have to fight to just survive, hm? Not exactly my idea of paradise, but...interesting, nonetheless. How does one get to this Digital World? It sounds like it might be worth exploring, some,"
Once he's gotten used to the Digimon, and such. Walking in there whilst still in shock about eggs turning into robots probably wasn't the best idea, if it's as dangerous as this guy is saying.

Tatsuya scratched the back of his head when Kenji had asked them where could he find an entrance to the Digital World. It wasn't like he didn't want him to go, but in order to do it, he ought to have his partner at least at Rookie capabilities, or else he risked quick deletion. It wasn't a safe place for those alone, that was for sure, and even for the likes of the more experienced Tamers, like the Kazan himself.
-Before going, I think you two should wait a little bit... the Digital World hasn't been exactly peaceful lately. One of its most important cities got destroyed by a powerful Digimon, and I actually fought another that had destroyed the plains near the capital... We used our full strength, yet we managed to accomplish nothing -the teen said, punching the tree where Souji had fallen from.
It was infuriating. If they were truly strong, how was it that they were unable to protect those who needed them? That only meant they still had a very long way to go. Dorumon clenched his teeth, and spoke as well. -We're not implying that you should stay away. But you'll need to take care and watch your surroundings. Last time I checked, Whitewater got its population almost halved by the attack... and trust me, it's not precisely small.
You'll need to get stronger. In this world, the weak ones have no place... that's something I had to learn the hard way, and it is the reason why I fight. I just want to be free, not fearing that anything might happen to me if I lower my guard. But, if you are going to go... you'll need a good reason to do it. That's what I think, at least, but nobody usually listens to us -the dragon spat the words, remembering about Mana and Karin.
-Hate to say it, but he's right. Just be sure to take care, okay?

"I assumed we'd have to be careful," he nods, slowly, "but yes, it makes sense to wait until I have the means to defend myself,"
Souji pauses, listening to what the Digimon and the older boy are saying, taking it all in, and formulating a response. Everything they're saying is fairly logical. Although...destroying an entire city? Hard to believe, based on what these MetalKoromon look like.
"My reason for going has already been decided. Exploration, understanding. Pursuits of the mind," he explains, simply.
Not that he's trying to learn more to outdo his peers (...not entirely, at least), but he knows that knowledge is power, and power is apparently everything to these Digimon, so...
[OOC: Sorry for the delay. Had a week of migraines.]
